നെഹെമ്യാവു 12
1 ശെയൽത്തിയേലിന്റെ മകനായ സെരൂബ്ബാബേലിനോടും യോശുവയോടുംകൂടെ വന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും ഇവരാണ്: സെരായാവ്, യിരെമ്യാവ്, എസ്രാ,
And these are the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
2 അമര്യാവ്, മല്ലൂക്ക്, ഹത്തൂശ്,
Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
3 ശെഖന്യാവ്, രെഹൂം, മെരേമോത്ത്,
Shechaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,
4 ഇദ്ദോ, ഗിന്നെഥോയി, അബീയാവ്,
Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah,
5 മിയാമീൻ, മയദ്യാവ്, ബിൽഗാ,
Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
6 ശെമയ്യാവ്, യൊയാരീബ്, യെദായാവ്,
Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,
7 സല്ലൂ, ആമോക്ക്, ഹിൽക്കിയാവ്, യെദായാവ്. യോശുവയുടെകാലത്ത്, പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെയും അവരുടെ കൂട്ടാളികളുടെയും തലവന്മാർ ഇവരായിരുന്നു.
Sallu, Amok, Hilkijah, Jedaiah. These were the chief of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua.
8 ലേവ്യരായ യേശുവ, ബിന്നൂവി, കദ്മീയേൽ, ശേരെബ്യാവ്, യെഹൂദാ എന്നിവരും തന്റെ കൂട്ടാളികളോടു ചേർന്ന് സ്തോത്രഗാനങ്ങളുടെ ചുമതല വഹിച്ചിരുന്ന മത്ഥന്യാവും
And the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, Mattaniah, [who was] over the thanksgiving, he and his brethren;
9 അവരുടെ കൂട്ടാളികളായ ബക്ക്ബൂക്ക്യാവും ഉന്നോവും ശുശ്രൂഷാവേളയിൽ അവർക്ക് അഭിമുഖമായി നിന്നു.
and Bakbukiah and Unni, their brethren, were over against them as watches.
10 യോശുവ യോയാക്കീമിന്റെ പിതാവായിരുന്നു; യോയാക്കീം എല്യാശീബിന്റെ പിതാവ്; എല്യാശീബ് യോയാദയുടെ പിതാവ്;
And Jeshua begot Joiakim, and Joiakim begot Eliashib, and Eliashib begot Joiada,
11 യോയാദാ യോനാഥാന്റെ പിതാവ്; യോനാഥാൻ യദ്ദൂവയുടെ പിതാവ്.
and Joiada begot Jonathan, and Jonathan begot Jaddua.
12 യോയാക്കീമിന്റെകാലത്ത്, പുരോഹിതന്മാരിൽ പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാർ ഇവരായിരുന്നു: സെരായാകുലത്തിനു മെരാര്യാവ്; യിരെമ്യാകുലത്തിനു ഹനന്യാവ്;
And in the days of Joiakim were priests, chief fathers: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;
13 എസ്രാകുലത്തിന് മെശുല്ലാം; അമര്യാകുലത്തിനു യെഹോഹാനാൻ;
of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;
14 മല്ലൂക്ക് കുലത്തിനു യോനാഥാൻ; ശെഖന്യാകുലത്തിനു യോസേഫ്;
of Melicu, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;
15 ഹാരീം കുലത്തിന് അദ്നാ; മെരായോത്ത് കുലത്തിനു ഹെൽക്കായി;
of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;
16 ഇദ്ദോ കുലത്തിനു സെഖര്യാവ്; ഗിന്നെഥോൻ കുലത്തിനു മെശുല്ലാം;
of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;
17 അബീയാവ് കുലത്തിനു സിക്രി; മിന്യാമീൻ, മോവദ്യാകുലങ്ങൾക്കു പിൽതായി;
of Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin [and] Moadiah, Piltai;
18 ബിൽഗാ കുലത്തിനു ശമ്മൂവാ; ശെമയ്യാകുലത്തിനു യെഹോനാഥാൻ;
of Bilgah, Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;
19 യൊയാരീബ് കുലത്തിനു മത്ഥെനായി; യെദായാ കുലത്തിന് ഉസ്സി;
and of Joiarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi;
20 സല്ലായി കുലത്തിനു കല്ലായി; ആമോക്ക് കുലത്തിന് ഏബെർ;
of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber;
21 ഹിൽക്കിയാ കുലത്തിനു ഹശബ്യാവ്; യെദായാ കുലത്തിനു നെഥനയേൽ.
of Hilkijah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethaneel.
22 എല്യാശീബ്, യോയാദാ, യോഹാനാൻ, യദ്ദൂവ എന്നിവരുടെ കാലത്തെ ലേവ്യരുടെ പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചും പുരോഹിതന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചും പാർസിരാജാവായ ദാര്യാവേശിന്റെ ഭരണകാലത്ത് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
of the Levites, the chief fathers were recorded in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, and the priests, until the reign of Darius the Persian.
23 എല്യാശീബിന്റെ മകനായ യോഹാനാന്റെ കാലംവരെയുള്ള ലേവ്യരായ പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള വിവരങ്ങളും ചരിത്രഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങളിൽ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
The children of Levi, the chief fathers, were recorded in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.
24 ഹശബ്യാവ്, ശേരെബ്യാവ്, കദ്മീയേലിന്റെ മകൻ യേശുവ എന്നിവരും അവർക്ക് അഭിമുഖമായി നിന്ന സഹകാരികളും ആയിരുന്നു ലേവ്യരുടെ തലവന്മാർ. ദൈവപുരുഷനായ ദാവീദ് നിയമിച്ചിരുന്നപ്രകാരം ഇവർ വചനപ്രതിവചനമായി സ്തുതിസ്തോത്രങ്ങൾ അർപ്പിച്ചുവന്നു.
And the chief Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise [and] to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward over against ward.
25 മത്ഥന്യാവ്, ബക്ക്ബൂക്ക്യാവ്, ഓബദ്യാവ്, മെശുല്ലാം, തല്മോൻ, അക്കൂബ് എന്നിവർ കവാടങ്ങൾക്കരികെയുള്ള സംഭരണശാലകൾ സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ദ്വാരപാലകർ ആയിരുന്നു.
Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were doorkeepers keeping the ward at the storehouses of the gates.
26 യോസാദാക്കിന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയുടെ മകൻ യോയാക്കീമിന്റെയും ദേശാധിപതിയായ നെഹെമ്യാവിന്റെയും ന്യായപ്രമാണോപദേഷ്ടാവായ എസ്രാപുരോഹിതന്റെയും കാലത്ത് ഇവർ സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു.
These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.
27 ജെറുശലേമിന്റെ മതിൽ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിക്കുന്ന സമയത്ത്, സ്തോത്രത്തോടും സംഗീതത്തോടും ഇലത്താളങ്ങളും കിന്നരങ്ങളും വീണകളുംകൊണ്ട് ആഹ്ലാദപൂർവം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നതിനായി ലേവ്യരെ അവരുടെ വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു ജെറുശലേമിലേക്ക് വിളിച്ചുവരുത്തി.
And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to hold the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, [with] cymbals, lutes and harps.
28 സംഗീതജ്ഞരെയെല്ലാം ജെറുശലേമിനു ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും നെതോഫാത്യരുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും
And the children of the singers were assembled, both from the plain [of Jordan] round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of the Netophathites,
29 ബേത്-ഗിൽഗാലിൽനിന്നും ഗേബായുടെയും അസ്മാവെത്തിന്റെയും പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി; സംഗീതജ്ഞരെല്ലാം ജെറുശലേമിനുചുറ്റും തങ്ങൾക്കായി ഗ്രാമങ്ങൾ നിർമിച്ചിരുന്നു.
also from Beth-Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth; for the singers had built themselves hamlets round about Jerusalem.
30 പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും തങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ ആചാരപരമായി ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചശേഷം ജനത്തെയും കവാടങ്ങളെയും മതിലിനെയും ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു.
And the priests and the Levites purified themselves; and they purified the people, and the gates and the wall.
31 തുടർന്ന് ഞാൻ യെഹൂദനേതാക്കന്മാരെ മതിലിന്റെ മുകളിലേക്കു വരുത്തി. സ്തോത്രഗാനം പാടിക്കൊണ്ട് പ്രദക്ഷിണംചെയ്യുന്ന രണ്ടു വലിയ സംഘങ്ങളെ നിയോഗിച്ചു. അവയിൽ ഒന്നു മതിലിനു മുകളിലൂടെ വലതു ഭാഗത്തേക്കു നീങ്ങി കുപ്പക്കവാടംവരെ ചെന്നു.
And I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great choirs and processions, on the right hand upon the wall towards the dung-gate.
32 അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ ഹോശയ്യാവും യെഹൂദനേതാക്കന്മാരിൽ പകുതിപ്പേരും നടന്നു.
And after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah,
33 അവരോടൊപ്പം അസര്യാവ്, എസ്രാ, മെശുല്ലാം,
and Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,
34 യെഹൂദാ, ബെന്യാമീൻ, ശെമയ്യാവ്, യിരെമ്യാവ് എന്നിവരും
Judah and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,
35 കാഹളമേന്തിയ ചില പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ആസാഫിന്റെ മകനായ സക്കൂരിന്റെ മകനായ മീഖായാവിന്റെ മകനായ മത്ഥന്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ശെമയ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോനാഥാന്റെ മകൻ സെഖര്യാവും
and [certain] of the priests' sons with trumpets: Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph;
36 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കൂട്ടാളികളായ ശെമയ്യാവ്, അസരെയേൽ, മീലലായി, ഗീലലായി, മായായി, നെഥനയേൽ, യെഹൂദ, ഹനാനി എന്നിവരും ദൈവപുരുഷനായ ദാവീദ് നിയമിച്ചപ്രകാരമുള്ള വാദ്യങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ നടന്നു. ന്യായപ്രമാണോപദേഷ്ടാവായ എസ്രാ അവരെ നയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു നടന്നു.
and his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God; and Ezra the scribe before them.
37 ഉറവുകവാടം കടന്ന് അവർ ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിന്റെ പടവുകയറി മതിലിന്റെ കയറ്റത്തിൽ എത്തി; ദാവീദിന്റെ അരമനയ്ക്കപ്പുറം കിഴക്കുള്ള ജലകവാടംവരെ ചെന്നു.
And at the fountain-gate, and over against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the ascent of the wall, above the house of David, even to the water-gate eastward.
38 സ്തോത്രഗാനം ആലപിക്കുന്ന രണ്ടാമത്തെ സംഘം എതിർഭാഗത്തുനിന്നും പുറപ്പെട്ടു. ജനത്തിൽ പകുതിയുമായി ഞാനും മതിലിന്മേൽക്കൂടി ചൂളഗോപുരത്തിനപ്പുറം വിശാലമതിൽവരെ അവരെ പിൻചെന്നു,
And the second choir went in the opposite direction upon the wall, and I after them, and the half of the people, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even to the broad wall;
39 എഫ്രയീം കവാടത്തിനപ്പുറം പഴയ നഗരകവാടം, മീൻകവാടം, ഹനനേലിന്റെ ഗോപുരം, ശതഗോപുരം എന്നിവ കടന്ന് ആട്ടിൻകവാടംവരെ എത്തി. അതിനുശേഷം കാവൽക്കവാടത്തിൽ വന്ന് അവർ നിന്നു.
and from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the gate of the old [wall], and above the fish-gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even to the sheep-gate; and they stood still in the prison-gate.
40 സ്തോത്രഗാനം ആലപിക്കുന്ന രണ്ടു സംഘങ്ങളും ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ അവരുടെ സ്ഥാനത്ത് നിന്നു; ഞാനും പ്രമാണികളിൽ പകുതിപ്പേരും അവരോടൊപ്പം നിന്നു.
And both choirs stood in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me;
41 പുരോഹിതന്മാരിൽ എല്യാക്കീം, മയസേയാവ്, മിന്യാമീൻ, മീഖായാവ്, എല്യോവേനായി, സെഖര്യാവ്, ഹനന്യാവ് എന്നിവർ കാഹളങ്ങളുമായും,
and the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, with trumpets;
42 അവരോടൊപ്പം മയസേയാവ്, ശെമയ്യാവ്, എലെയാസാർ, ഉസ്സി, യെഹോഹാനാൻ, മൽക്കീയാവ്, ഏലാം, ഏസെർ എന്നിവരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. സംഗീതജ്ഞർ ഉറക്കെ പാടി; യിസ്രഹ്യാവ് സംഗീതജ്ഞർക്കു നേതൃത്വം നൽകി.
and Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud; and Jizrahiah was their overseer.
43 ആ ദിവസം അവർ വലിയ യാഗങ്ങൾ അർപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്, ദൈവം അവർക്കു മഹാസന്തോഷം നൽകിയതിൽ ആഹ്ലാദിച്ചു. സ്ത്രീകളും കുട്ടികളും ആനന്ദിച്ചു. ജെറുശലേമിലെ ആനന്ദഘോഷം ബഹുദൂരം കേൾക്കാമായിരുന്നു.
And that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy; and also the women and the children rejoiced. And the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
44 സംഭാവനകൾ, ആദ്യഫലങ്ങൾ, ദശാംശങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയ്ക്കുള്ള സംഭരണശാലകളുടെ മേൽനോട്ടം വഹിക്കേണ്ടതിനു ചില പുരുഷന്മാരെ ആ കാലത്തു നിയമിച്ചു. ന്യായപ്രമാണപ്രകാരം പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കും ലേവ്യർക്കും നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഓഹരികൾ പട്ടണത്തിനു ചുറ്റുമുള്ള നിലങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു ശേഖരിക്കാൻ അവർ ചുമതലപ്പെട്ടു; ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്യുന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും ലേവ്യരെയുംകുറിച്ച് യെഹൂദർ സംതൃപ്തരായിരുന്നു.
And at that time men were appointed over the chambers of the treasures for the heave-offerings, for the first-fruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, out of the fields of the cities, the portions assigned by the law for the priests and the Levites; for Judah rejoiced over the priests, and over the Levites that waited.
45 അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷയും ശുദ്ധീകരണശുശ്രൂഷയും നിർവഹിച്ചു; ദാവീദിന്റെയും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മകൻ ശലോമോന്റെയും കൽപ്പനപ്രകാരംതന്നെ സംഗീതജ്ഞരും വാതിൽക്കാവൽക്കാരും അവരുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്തു.
And, with the singers and the doorkeepers, they kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, according to the commandment of David [and] of Solomon his son.
46 പൂർവകാലംമുതൽതന്നെ—ദാവീദിന്റെയും ആസാഫിന്റെയും നാളുകൾമുതൽതന്നെ—ദൈവത്തിനു സ്തുതിസ്തോത്രങ്ങൾ അർപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ഗാനങ്ങൾ സംഗീതസംവിധായകരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ആലപിക്കുക പതിവായിരുന്നു.
For of old, in the days of David and Asaph, there were the chiefs of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgivings to God.
47 അതിനാൽ, സെരൂബ്ബാബേലിന്റെയും നെഹെമ്യാവിന്റെയും കാലങ്ങളിൽ എല്ലാ ഇസ്രായേല്യരും സംഗീതജ്ഞർക്കും വാതിൽക്കാവൽക്കാർക്കും ദിവസേന ആവശ്യമായ വിഹിതം നൽകിവന്നു. മറ്റു ലേവ്യർക്കും അവർ വിഹിതം കൊടുത്തു; ലേവ്യരാണ് അഹരോന്യവംശജർക്കുള്ള വിഹിതം വേർതിരിച്ചുനൽകിയത്.
And all Israel, in the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the doorkeepers, every day what was needed, and they consecrated things for the Levites; and the Levites consecrated for the children of Aaron.
