മീഖാ 2
1 കിടക്കയിൽ അതിക്രമം ആലോചിച്ച് ദ്രോഹം ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്യുന്നവർക്കു ഹാ കഷ്ടം! തങ്ങൾക്ക് അതിനുള്ള ശക്തിയുള്ളതുകൊണ്ട്, പുലരുമ്പോൾത്തന്നെ അവർ അതു നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നു.
Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.
2 അവർ നിലങ്ങൾ മോഹിച്ച് അവയെ കൈവശപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു വീടുകൾ നോട്ടമിട്ട് അവയെ പിടിച്ചെടുക്കുന്നു. അവർ ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ ഭവനത്തെ വഞ്ചിച്ചെടുക്കുകയും അവർ അവരുടെ അവകാശത്തെ കൈവശമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
3 അതുകൊണ്ട് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഞാൻ ഈ ജനത്തിനുനേരേ അത്യാഹിതം വരുത്തും അതിൽനിന്നു സ്വയം രക്ഷിക്കാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കഴിയുന്നതല്ല. നിങ്ങൾ പിന്നീടൊരിക്കലും നിഗളിച്ചു നടക്കുകയില്ല, കാരണം ഇതു ദുഷ്കാലമാണല്ലോ.
Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which all of you shall not remove your necks; neither shall all of you go haughtily: for this time is evil.
4 ആ ദിവസത്തിൽ അവർ നിങ്ങളെ പരിഹസിക്കും ഈ വിലാപഗീതം പാടി നിങ്ങളെ നിന്ദിക്കും: ‘ഞങ്ങൾ നിശ്ശേഷം നശിച്ചുപോയി; എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഓഹരി വിഭജിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. അവിടന്ന് അത് എന്നിൽനിന്ന് എടുക്കുന്നു! ഞങ്ങളുടെ വയലുകളെ അവിടന്നു രാജ്യദ്രോഹികൾക്കു നൽകുന്നു.’”
In that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he has changed the portion of my people: how has he removed it from me! turning away he has divided our fields.
5 അതുകൊണ്ട്, നിങ്ങൾക്കു ദേശം നറുക്കിട്ട് വിഭജിച്ചുതരാൻ യഹോവയുടെ സഭയിൽ ആരും ഉണ്ടാകുകയില്ല.
Therefore you shall have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the LORD.
6 “പ്രവചിക്കരുത്,” എന്ന് അവരുടെ പ്രവാചകന്മാർ പറയുന്നു. “ഇവയെക്കുറിച്ച് പ്രവചിക്കരുത്; അങ്ങനെയെങ്കിൽ നമുക്ക് അപമാനം വരികയില്ല.”
Prophesy all of you not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame.
7 യാക്കോബുഗൃഹമേ, ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുന്നതു ശരിയോ? “യഹോവയുടെ ആത്മാവ് കോപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നോ? അവിടന്ന് അങ്ങനെയുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുമോ?” “നേരായവഴിയിൽ ജീവിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് എന്റെ വചനം നന്മയല്ലയോ?
O you that are named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walks uprightly?
8 ഒടുവിലിതാ, എന്റെ ജനം ഒരു ശത്രുവിനെപ്പോലെ എഴുന്നേറ്റിരിക്കുന്നു. യുദ്ധത്തിൽനിന്നു മടങ്ങിവരുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ ചിന്താരഹിതരായി കടന്നുപോകുന്നവരിൽനിന്ന് അവരുടെ വിലയേറിയ പുറങ്കുപ്പായം നിങ്ങൾ ഉരിഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്നു.
Even of late my people has risen up as an enemy: all of you pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war.
9 നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ സ്ത്രീകളെ തങ്ങളുടെ സുഖകരമായ ഭവനങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് ഓടിച്ചുകളയുന്നു. അവരുടെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളുടെമേലുള്ള എന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ എന്നേക്കും നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.
The women of my people have all of you cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have all of you taken away my glory for ever.
10 എഴുന്നേൽക്കുക, ഓടിപ്പോകുക! ഇതു നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്രമസ്ഥലമല്ല, ഉദ്ധരിക്കാനാകാത്തവിധം ഇതു നശിപ്പിച്ചും മലിനപ്പെടുത്തിയും ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
Arise all of you, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction.
11 ഒരു നുണയനോ വഞ്ചകനോ മുന്നോട്ടുവന്ന്, ‘മദ്യത്തെയും വീഞ്ഞിനെയുംകുറിച്ച് ഞാൻ പ്രവചിക്കാം’ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ, അവൻതന്നെയാണ് നിങ്ങൾക്കു പറ്റിയ പ്രവാചകൻ.
If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto you of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
12 “യാക്കോബേ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ എല്ലാവരെയും കൂട്ടിച്ചേർക്കും; ഞാൻ നിശ്ചയമായും ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പിനെ കൂട്ടിവരുത്തും. തൊഴുത്തിലെ ആടുപോലെയും മേച്ചിൽപ്പുറത്തെ ആട്ടിൻകൂട്ടംപോലെയും ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂട്ടും. ദേശത്തു ജനം തിങ്ങിനിറയും.
I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of you; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men.
13 വഴിതുറക്കുന്നവൻ അവർക്കുമുമ്പായി നടക്കും; അവർ കവാടം തകർത്ത് വെളിയിൽപ്പോകും. അവർക്കുമുമ്പിൽ അവരുടെ രാജാവ് നടക്കും, യഹോവതന്നെ അവരെ നയിക്കും.”
The breaker has come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.
