മത്തായി 21
1 അവർ ജെറുശലേമിനു സമീപം ഒലിവുമലയുടെ അരികെയുള്ള ബേത്ത്ഫാഗെ എന്ന ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ യേശു ശിഷ്യന്മാരിൽ രണ്ടുപേരെ വിളിച്ച് ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞയച്ചു:
And when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage (on *N(k)O*) the Mount of Olives, then (*ko*) Jesus sent two disciples
2 “നിങ്ങൾക്കു നേരേമുന്നിലുള്ള ഗ്രാമത്തിലേക്ക് ചെല്ലുക; അവിടെ പ്രവേശിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ഒരു കഴുതയെയും അതിനടുത്ത് അതിന്റെ കുട്ടിയെയും കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നതു നിങ്ങൾ കാണും. അവയെ അഴിച്ച് എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരിക.
saying to them; (do go *N(k)O*) into the village which [is] (in front *N(k)O*) of you. and immediately you will find a donkey tied and a colt with her; having untied [them] (do bring [them] *NK(o)*) to Me.
3 ഇതെക്കുറിച്ച് നിങ്ങളോട് ആരെങ്കിലും ചോദിച്ചാൽ, കർത്താവിന് ഇവ ആവശ്യമുണ്ട് എന്ന് അയാളോട് പറയൂ. അപ്പോൾത്തന്നെ അവയെ കൊണ്ടുപോകാൻ അയാൾ അനുവദിക്കും.”
And if anyone to you may say anything, you will say that the Lord of them need has, Immediately then (he will send *NK(o)*) them.
4 “സീയോൻപുത്രിയോട് പറയുക, ‘ഇതാ, നിന്റെ രാജാവ് നിന്റെ അടുത്തേക്കു വരുന്നു, അവിടന്ന് വിനയാന്വിതനായി കഴുതമേലേറി, അതേ, കഴുതക്കുട്ടിമേൽത്തന്നെ കയറി നിന്റെ ചാരത്തേക്കണയുന്നു,’” എന്നിങ്ങനെ കർത്താവ് പ്രവാചകനിലൂടെ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തത് നിറവേറുന്നതിനാണ് ഇതു സംഭവിച്ചത്.
This then (all *k*) has come to pass that it may be fulfilled that having been spoken through the prophet saying;
do say to the daughter of Zion; Behold the King of you comes to you, gentle and already riding on a donkey even (upon *no*) a colt [the] foal of a beast of burden.
6 ശിഷ്യന്മാർ ചെന്ന്, യേശു തങ്ങളോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെതന്നെ ചെയ്തു.
Having gone then the disciples and having done even as (directed *N(k)O*) to them Jesus,
7 അവർ യേശുവിന് ഇരിക്കാനായി കഴുതയെയും അതിന്റെ കുട്ടിയെയും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; തങ്ങളുടെ പുറങ്കുപ്പായങ്ങൾ അവയുടെമേൽ ഇട്ടു.
they brought the donkey and the colt and put (upon *N(k)O*) them the cloaks (of them *k*) and He sat on them.
8 ഒരു വലിയ ജനക്കൂട്ടം തങ്ങളുടെ പുറങ്കുപ്പായങ്ങൾ വഴിയിൽ വിരിക്കുകയും ചിലർ മരങ്ങളുടെ ചില്ലകൾ വെട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നു വഴിയിൽ നിരത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.
The now very great crowd spread their own cloaks on the road, others now were cutting down branches from the trees and were spreading [them] on the road.
9 യേശുവിന് മുന്നിലും പിന്നിലുമായി നടന്നിരുന്ന ജനസമൂഹം, “ദാവീദുപുത്രന് ഹോശന്നാ!” “കർത്താവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ വരുന്നവൻ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവൻ!” “സ്വർഗോന്നതങ്ങളിൽ ഹോശന്നാ!” എന്ന് ആർത്തുവിളിച്ചു.
The now crowds which are going before (Him *no*) and those following they were crying out saying: Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed [is] the [One] coming in [the] name of [the] Lord! Hosanna in the highest!
10 യേശു ജെറുശലേമിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചപ്പോൾ നഗരമാകെ ആർത്തിരമ്പി. “ആരാണ് ഇദ്ദേഹം?” ജനം ചോദിച്ചു.
And when was entering He into Jerusalem was stirred all the city saying; Who is this?
11 കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ചിലർ, “ഗലീലയിലെ നസറെത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ള യേശു എന്ന പ്രവാചകൻ ആകുന്നു ഇത്” എന്ന് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
And the crowds were saying; This is the prophet Jesus, the [One] from Nazareth of Galilee.
12 യേശു ദൈവാലയാങ്കണത്തിൽ ചെന്ന്, അവിടെ വാങ്ങുകയും വിൽക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന സകലരെയും പുറത്താക്കി. നാണയവിനിമയം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നവരുടെ മേശകളും പ്രാവുകളെ വിൽക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഇരിപ്പിടങ്ങളും അദ്ദേഹം മറിച്ചിട്ടു.
And entered (*k*) Jesus into the temple (of God *K*) and cast out all those selling and buying in the temple, and the tables of the money changers He overturned and the seats of those selling the doves.
13 യേശു അവരോട്, “‘എന്റെ ആലയം പ്രാർഥനാലയം എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടും,’ എന്നു തിരുവെഴുത്തിൽ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളോ അതിനെ ‘കൊള്ളക്കാരുടെ ഗുഹ’ ആക്കിത്തീർക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
And He says to them; It has been written: The house of Mine a house of prayer will be called,’ You yourselves however it (make *N(k)O*) a den of robbers.’
14 അന്ധരും മുടന്തരും ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ യേശുവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽവന്നു; അവിടന്ന് അവരെ സൗഖ്യമാക്കി.
And came to Him blind and lame in the temple, and He healed them.
15 എന്നാൽ, യേശു ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും “ദാവീദുപുത്രന് ഹോശന്നാ” എന്നു ദൈവാലയാങ്കണത്തിൽ കുട്ടികൾ ആർത്തുവിളിക്കുന്നതും കണ്ടപ്പോൾ പുരോഹിതമുഖ്യന്മാരും വേദജ്ഞരും കോപാകുലരായി.
Having seen now the chief priests and the scribes the wonders that He did and the children (who *no*) are crying out in the temple and saying; Hosanna to the Son of David, they were indignant
16 “എന്താണ്, ഈ കുട്ടികൾ ആർത്തുവിളിക്കുന്നത് താങ്കൾ കേൾക്കുന്നില്ലേ?” എന്ന് അവർ അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് ചോദിച്ചു. “ഉണ്ട്, കേൾക്കുന്നുണ്ട്” യേശു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു. തുടർന്ന് യേശു, “‘ശിശുക്കളുടെയും മുലകുടിക്കുന്നവരുടെയും അധരങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് അവിടന്ന് സ്തുതി ഉയരുമാറാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു,’ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ഒരിക്കലും വായിച്ചിട്ടില്ലയോ?” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
and said to Him; Hear you what these say? And Jesus says to them; Yes. surely sometime you did read that Out of [the] mouth of babes and sucklings You have prepared for yourself praise’?
17 അതിനുശേഷം യേശു അവരെ വിട്ട് നഗരത്തിനു പുറത്തുള്ള ബെഥാന്യയിലേക്കു പോയി; രാത്രിയിൽ അവിടെ താമസിച്ചു.
And having left them He went out of the city to Bethany and He passed the night there.
18 പ്രഭാതത്തിൽ യേശു നഗരത്തിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങുമ്പോൾ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് വിശന്നു.
(Early *N(k)O*) then (he is coming back *NK(o)*) into the city He became hungry,
19 വഴിയരികെ ഒരു അത്തിവൃക്ഷം കണ്ടിട്ട് അദ്ദേഹം അതിന്റെ അടുത്തുചെന്നു. എന്നാൽ, അതിൽ ഇലയല്ലാതെ ഒന്നും കണ്ടില്ല. അപ്പോൾ യേശു അതിനോട്, “ഇനി ഒരിക്കലും നിന്നിൽ ഫലം കായ്ക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. തൽക്ഷണം ആ മരം ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോയി. (aiōn g165)
And having seen fig tree one along the road He came to it and no [thing] found on it only except leaves alone And He says to it; (certainly *o*) no more from you fruit there may be to the age. And withered immediately the fig tree. (aiōn g165)
20 ഇതുകണ്ട് ശിഷ്യന്മാർ വിസ്മയത്തോടെ, “അത്തിവൃക്ഷം ഇത്ര പെട്ടെന്ന് ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോയത് എങ്ങനെ?” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
And having seen [it] the disciples marveled saying; How so quickly withered the fig tree?
21 അതിനുത്തരമായി യേശു അവരോട്, “ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു, നിങ്ങൾ സംശയിക്കാതെ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നപക്ഷം ഈ അത്തിവൃക്ഷത്തോടു ഞാൻ ചെയ്തതു നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുമെന്നുമാത്രമല്ല, ഈ മലയോട്, ‘പോയി കടലിൽ വീഴുക’ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ അതും സംഭവിക്കും, നിശ്ചയം.
Answering now Jesus said to them; Amen I say to you; if you shall have faith and not shall doubt, not only the [miracle] of the fig tree will you do, but even if even if to the mountain this you shall say; do be taken away and do be cast into the sea, it will come to pass;
22 വിശ്വാസത്തോടുകൂടി നിങ്ങൾ പ്രാർഥനയിൽ എന്തു യാചിച്ചാലും അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു ലഭിക്കും.”
And all things as much as (maybe *NK(o)*) you shall ask in prayer believing, you will receive.
23 യേശു ദൈവാലയാങ്കണത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച്, ജനത്തെ ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ പുരോഹിതമുഖ്യന്മാരും സമുദായനേതാക്കന്മാരും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽവന്ന്, “എന്ത് അധികാരത്താലാണ് താങ്കൾ ഈ കാര്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നത്? ആരാണ് താങ്കൾക്ക് ഈ അധികാരം തന്നത്?” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
And (when was coming He *N(k)O*) into the temple came to Him teaching the chief priests and the elders of the people saying; By what authority these things are You doing And who to You gave authority this?
24 അതിന് യേശു, “ഞാനും നിങ്ങളോട് ഒരു ചോദ്യം ചോദിക്കും; നിങ്ങളതിന് ഉത്തരം നൽകിയാൽ, എന്ത് അധികാരത്താലാണ് ഞാൻ ഈ കാര്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നതെന്ന് ഞാനും നിങ്ങളോടു പറയാം.
Answering now Jesus said to them; Will ask you I myself also I myself also thing one, which if you shall tell Me I myself also I myself also to you will say by what authority these things I do.
25 സ്നാനം നൽകാനുള്ള അധികാരം യോഹന്നാന് ലഭിച്ചത് എവിടെനിന്ന്? ‘സ്വർഗത്തിൽനിന്നോ മനുഷ്യരിൽനിന്നോ?’” അവർ അതിനെപ്പറ്റി പരസ്പരം ചർച്ചചെയ്തു: “‘സ്വർഗത്തിൽനിന്ന്’ എന്നു നാം പറഞ്ഞാൽ, പിന്നെ നിങ്ങൾ യോഹന്നാനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കാതിരുന്നത് എന്തുകൊണ്ട് എന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം നമ്മോടു ചോദിക്കും.
The baptism (*no*) of John from where was it? From heaven or from men? And they were reasoning (among *N(k)O*) themselves saying; If we shall say; From heaven, He will say to us; Because of why then not did you believe in him?
26 ‘മനുഷ്യരിൽനിന്ന്’ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാലോ! നാം ജനത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു; കാരണം അവരെല്ലാം യോഹന്നാനെ ഒരു പ്രവാചകനായിട്ടാണ് കരുതിയിരുന്നത്.”
If however we shall say; From men, we fear the multitude; all for as a prophet hold John.
27 അവർ ഒടുവിൽ യേശുവിനോട്, “ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാ” എന്ന് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോൾ യേശു, “എന്ത് അധികാരത്താലാണ് ഞാൻ ഈ കാര്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നതെന്ന് ഞാനും നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നില്ല” എന്ന മറുപടിയും നൽകി.
And answering Jesus they said; Not do we know. Was saying to them also He himself; Neither I myself tell you by what authority these things I do.
28 “ഇനി പറയുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എന്തുതോന്നുന്നു? ഒരു മനുഷ്യനു രണ്ട് പുത്രന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഒന്നാമന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം, ‘മകനേ, ഇന്ന് നീ എന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോപ്പിൽ പോയി വേലചെയ്യുക’ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
What however you think? A man had sons two, and having come to the first he said; Son, do go today do work in the vineyard (of mine. *k*)
29 “‘ഞാൻ പോകില്ല,’ അവൻ മറുപടി നൽകി. എങ്കിലും പിന്നീടു തന്റെ തീരുമാനം മാറ്റി പോകുകയും ചെയ്തു.
And answering he said; Not I want to; Afterward however having repented he went.
30 “അദ്ദേഹം മറ്റേ മകനോടും അതേകാര്യംതന്നെ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. ‘ഞാൻ പോകാം അപ്പാ’ എന്ന് അവൻ പറഞ്ഞെങ്കിലും പോയില്ല.
(and *k*) Having come (then *no*) to the (other *N(K)O*) he said likewise. And answering he said; I myself [will] sir; and not did he go.
31 “ഈ രണ്ടുപേരിൽ ആരാണ് പിതാവിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം നിറവേറ്റിയത്?” “ഒന്നാമൻ,” അവർ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു. യേശു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞത്, “നികുതിപിരിവുകാരും ഗണികകളും നിങ്ങൾക്കുമുമ്പേ ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നു എന്ന സത്യം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.
Which of the two did the will of the father? They say (to him: *k*) The (first. *NK(O)*) Says to them Jesus; Amen I say to you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes go before you into the kingdom of God.
32 കാരണം, നീതിയുടെ വഴി കാണിച്ചുതരാൻ യോഹന്നാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങൾ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല. എന്നാൽ, നികുതിപിരിവുകാരും ഗണികകളും അദ്ദേഹത്തിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു. ഇതു കണ്ടിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ അനുതപിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹത്തിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല.
Came for John to you in [the] way of righteousness, and not you did believe in him; however the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed in him. you yourselves then having seen (not even *N(k)O*) did repent afterward to believe him.
33 “മറ്റൊരു സാദൃശ്യകഥ കേൾക്കുക: ഒരു ഭൂവുടമ ഒരു മുന്തിരിത്തോപ്പ് നട്ടുപിടിപ്പിച്ചു. അയാൾ അതിനുചുറ്റും വേലികെട്ടി, അതിൽ മുന്തിരിചവിട്ടാൻ കുഴികുഴിച്ചു, ഒരു കാവൽഗോപുരവും പണിതു. അതിനുശേഷം ആ മുന്തിരിത്തോപ്പ് ചില കർഷകർക്ക് പാട്ടത്തിനേൽപ്പിച്ചിട്ട്, വിദേശത്തുപോയി.
Another parable do hear: A man (who *k*) there was a master of a house who planted a vineyard and a fence around it placed and he dug in it a winepress and he built a tower and he rented out it to farmers and he traveled abroad.
34 വിളവെടുപ്പുകാലം സമീപിച്ചപ്പോൾ, അദ്ദേഹം തനിക്കുള്ള ഓഹരി ശേഖരിക്കാൻ തന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരെ ആ പാട്ടക്കർഷകരുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് അയച്ചു.
When then drew near the season of the fruits, he sent the servants of him to the farmers to receive the fruits of him.
35 “ആ പാട്ടക്കാർ തന്റെ ഭൃത്യരെപ്പിടിച്ച് ഒരാളെ അടിച്ചു, മറ്റേയാളെ കൊന്നു, മൂന്നാമത്തെയാളെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു.
And having taken the farmers the servants of him, the one they beat, another and they killed, another and they stoned.
36 പിന്നീട് ആ ഭൂവുടമ ആദ്യം അയച്ചതിലും അധികം ഭൃത്യന്മാരെ അവരുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് അയച്ചു; പാട്ടക്കാർ അവരോടും മുമ്പ് ചെയ്തതുപോലെതന്നെ ചെയ്തു.
Again he sent other servants more than the first, and they did to them likewise.
37 ഏറ്റവും അവസാനം അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ മകനെത്തന്നെ അവരുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് അയച്ചു; ‘എന്റെ മകനെ അവർ ആദരിക്കും,’ എന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
Afterward then he sent to them the son of him saying; They will respect the son of mine.
38 “എന്നാൽ ആ കർഷകർ ഭൂവുടമയുടെ മകനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, പരസ്പരം ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു, ‘ഇവനാണ് അവകാശി, വരൂ, നമുക്ക് ഇവനെ കൊന്ന് ഇവന്റെ ഓഹരി കൈക്കലാക്കാം.’
But the farmers having seen the son said among themselves; This is the heir; come, let us kill him and (let us have *N(k)O*) the inheritance of him.
39 അങ്ങനെ, അവർ അവനെ പിടിച്ച് മുന്തിരിത്തോപ്പിന് പുറത്തേക്കു വലിച്ചിഴച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.
And having taking him they cast [him] out of the vineyard and killed [him].
40 “മുന്തിരിത്തോപ്പിന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥൻ വരുമ്പോൾ, അദ്ദേഹം ഈ പാട്ടക്കർഷകരോട് എങ്ങനെ പ്രതികരിക്കും എന്നാണ് നിങ്ങൾ കരുതുന്നത്?” യേശു അവരോടു ചോദിച്ചു.
When therefore may come the master of the vineyard, what will he do farmers to those?
41 “അദ്ദേഹം ആ ദുഷ്ടന്മാരെ നിർദാക്ഷിണ്യം നശിപ്പിക്കും; പിന്നീട് ആ മുന്തിരിത്തോപ്പ് യഥാകാലം പാട്ടം നൽകുന്ന മറ്റു പാട്ടക്കർഷകരെ ഏൽപ്പിക്കും,” എന്ന് സമുദായനേതാക്കന്മാർ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
They say to him; [The] wretches grievously He will destroy them and the vineyard he will rent out to other farmers who will give to him the fruits in the seasons of them.
42 യേശു അവരോടു ചോദിച്ചത്, “‘ശില്പികൾ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച ആ കല്ലുതന്നെ മൂലക്കല്ലായിത്തീർന്നു; ഇത് കർത്താവ് ചെയ്തു; നമ്മുടെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ ആശ്ചര്യകരവുമായിരിക്കുന്നു’ എന്നു തിരുവെഴുത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾ ഒരിക്കലും വായിച്ചിട്ടില്ലേ?
Says to them Jesus; surely sometime you did read in the Scriptures: [The] stone which rejected those building, this has become the chief corner. From [the] Lord was this, and it is marvelous in [the] eyes of us?’
43 “അതുകൊണ്ട്, ദൈവരാജ്യം നിങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് എടുത്തുമാറ്റി ഫലം നൽകുന്ന മറ്റൊരു ജനതയ്ക്കു നൽകും എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.
Because of this I say to you that it will be taken away from you the kingdom of God and it will be given to a people producing the fruits of it.
44 ഈ കല്ലിന്മേൽ വീഴുന്നവൻ തകർന്നുപോകും; അത് ആരുടെമേൽ വീഴുന്നോ അയാൾ തരിപ്പണമാകും.”
And the [one] having fallen on stone this will be broken; on whomever but maybe it may fall, it will grind to powder him.
45 യേശു ഈ സാദൃശ്യകഥകൾ തങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചാണ് പറയുന്നതെന്നു മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിട്ട്, പുരോഹിതമുഖ്യന്മാരും പരീശന്മാരും
And having heard the chief priests and the Pharisees the parables of Him they knew that about them He speaks.
46 അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ബന്ധനസ്ഥനാക്കാൻ മാർഗം ആരാഞ്ഞു. എന്നാൽ, ജനം അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ഒരു പ്രവാചകനായി പരിഗണിച്ചിരുന്നതിനാൽ അവർ ജനക്കൂട്ടത്തെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു.
And seeking Him to lay hold of they feared the crowds, (because to *N(k)O*) a prophet Him they were holding.
