ലേവ്യപുസ്തകം 10

1 അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ നാദാബും അബീഹൂവും തങ്ങളുടെ ധൂപകലശങ്ങൾ എടുത്ത് അതിൽ തീയിട്ടു സുഗന്ധദ്രവ്യവും ചേർത്തു; തങ്ങളോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചതല്ലാത്ത അന്യാഗ്നി യഹോവയുടെമുമ്പിൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

And whanne Nadab and Abyu, the sones of Aaron, hadden take censeris, thei puttiden fier and encense aboue, and offriden bifor the Lord alien fier, which thing was not comaundid to hem.

2 അപ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽനിന്ന് തീ പുറപ്പെട്ട് അവരെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു, അവർ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ മരിച്ചു.

And fier yede out fro the Lord, and deuouride hem, and thei weren deed bifor the Lord.

3 മോശ അഹരോനോടു പറഞ്ഞു, “യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ പറഞ്ഞതിതാണ്: “‘എന്നോട് അടുത്തുവരുന്നവരിലൂടെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധി തെളിയിക്കും; സർവജനത്തിന്റെയും മുമ്പിൽ ഞാൻ മഹത്ത്വപ്പെടും.’” അഹരോൻ മൗനമായിരുന്നു.

And Moises seide to Aaron, This thing it is which the Lord spak, Y schal be halewid in hem that neiyen to me, and Y schal be glorified in the siyt of al the puple; which thing Aaron herde, and was stille.

4 മോശ അഹരോന്റെ പിതൃസഹോദരനായ ഉസ്സീയേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ മീശായേലിനെയും എത്സാഫാനെയും വിളിപ്പിച്ച് അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു: “ഇവിടെ വരിക, നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്ന് പാളയത്തിനുപുറത്ത് അകലെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുക.”

6 പിന്നെ മോശ അഹരോനോടും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ എലെയാസാരോടും ഈഥാമാരോടും പറഞ്ഞു: “നിങ്ങൾ മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിനും സർവസഭയുടെയുംമേൽ കോപം വരാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിനും നിങ്ങൾ തലമുടി ചീകാതിരിക്കുകയോ വസ്ത്രം കീറുകയോ അരുത്. എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ ഇസ്രായേൽഗൃഹം മുഴുവനും യഹോവ തീയാൽ നശിപ്പിച്ചവരെച്ചൊല്ലി വിലപിക്കട്ടെ.

And Moises spak to Aaron, and to Eliasar and Ithamar, the sones of Aaron, Nyle ye make nakid youre heedis, and nyle ye reende clothis, lest perauenture ye dien, and indignacioun rise on al the cumpany; youre britheren and all the hows of Israel byweile the brennyng which the Lord reiside.

7 നിങ്ങൾ മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് സമാഗമകൂടാരത്തിന്റെ കവാടം വിട്ടുപോകരുത്. കാരണം, യഹോവയുടെ അഭിഷേകതൈലം നിങ്ങളുടെമേൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.” അങ്ങനെ അവർ മോശ കൽപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു.

8 പിന്നീടു യഹോവ അഹരോനോടു പറഞ്ഞു:

Also the Lord seide to Aaron,

9 “നിങ്ങൾ മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്, സമാഗമകൂടാരത്തിനകത്തു പോകുമ്പോൾ ഒരിക്കലും നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും വീഞ്ഞോ മദ്യമോ കുടിക്കരുത്. ഇതു വരാനുള്ള തലമുറകൾക്ക് എന്നും നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന നിയമം ആകുന്നു.

Thou and thi sones schulen not drynke wyn, and al thing that may make drunkun, whanne ye schulen entre in to the tabernacle of witnessing, lest ye dien; for it is euerlastynge comaundement in to youre generaciouns,

10 ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു വിശുദ്ധവും സാധാരണവുംതമ്മിലും ശുദ്ധവും അശുദ്ധവുംതമ്മിലും വേർതിരിച്ചറിയാം.

that ye haue kunnyng to make doom bytwixe hooli thing and vnhooli, bitwixe pollutid thing and cleene;

11 യഹോവ മോശമുഖാന്തരം ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു കൊടുത്ത എല്ലാ ഉത്തരവുകളും നീ അവരെ പഠിപ്പിക്കണം.”

and that ye teche the sones of Israel alle my lawful thingis, whiche the Lord spak to hem bi the hond of Moyses.

12 മോശ അഹരോനോടും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ശേഷിച്ച പുത്രന്മാരായ എലെയാസാരോടും ഈഥാമാരോടും പറഞ്ഞു: “യഹോവയ്ക്കു ദഹനയാഗം അർപ്പിച്ചതിനുശേഷമുള്ള ഭോജനയാഗം എടുത്ത്, പുളിപ്പില്ലാതെ ഒരുക്കി യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ വശത്തുവെച്ച് ഭക്ഷിക്കുക; കാരണം അത് അതിവിശുദ്ധമാണ്.

And Moises spak to Aaron, and to Eliazar and Ythamar, hise sones, that weren residue, Take ye the sacrifice that lefte of the offryng of the Lord, and ete ye it with out sour dow, bisidis the auter, for it is hooli `of the noumbre of hooli thingis.

13 യഹോവയ്ക്ക് അർപ്പിക്കുന്ന ദഹനയാഗങ്ങളിൽ അതു നിന്റെയും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെയും ഓഹരിയാണ്. അതു വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു ഭക്ഷിക്കണം. ഇങ്ങനെ എന്നോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

14 എന്നാൽ നിനക്കും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർക്കും പുത്രിമാർക്കും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഉയർത്തി അർപ്പിച്ച നെഞ്ചും വിശിഷ്ടയാഗാർപ്പണമായ തുടയും ഭക്ഷിക്കാം. ആചാരപരമായി ശുദ്ധിയുള്ള ഒരു സ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ച് അവ ഭക്ഷിക്കണം. ഇസ്രായേല്യരുടെ സമാധാനയാഗത്തിൽ നിനക്കും നിന്റെ മക്കൾക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഓഹരിയായി അവ നൽകപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

15 വിശിഷ്ടയാഗാർപ്പണമായ തുടയും ഉയർത്തി അർപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള നെഞ്ചും ദഹനയാഗങ്ങളുടെ മേദസ്സോടുകൂടെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന് ഉയർത്തി ഒരു വിശിഷ്ടയാഗമായി അർപ്പിക്കണം. യഹോവ കൽപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഇതു നിന്റെയും നിന്റെ മക്കളുടെയും ശാശ്വതാവകാശം ആയിരിക്കും.”

for thei reiseden bifor the Lord the schuldur and brest, and the ynnere fatnessis that ben brent in the auter; and perteynen tho to thee, and to thi sones, bi euerlastynge lawe, as the Lord comaundide.

16 പാപശുദ്ധീകരണയാഗത്തിന്റെ കോലാടിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അന്വേഷിച്ചപ്പോൾ അതു ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുപോയി എന്നുകണ്ട് അഹരോന്റെ ശേഷിച്ച പുത്രന്മാരായ എലെയാസാരോടും ഈഥാമാരോടും മോശ കോപിച്ചു.

Among these thingis whanne Moises souyte the `buk of geet that was offrid for synne, he foond it brent, and he was wrooth ayens Eliazar and Ythamar, `the sones of Aaron that weren left.

17 “ആ പാപശുദ്ധീകരണയാഗം നിങ്ങൾ വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ച് ഭക്ഷിക്കാഞ്ഞതെന്ത്? അത് അതിവിശുദ്ധമല്ലോ. സഭയുടെ അകൃത്യം അകറ്റിക്കളയാനും അവർക്കുവേണ്ടി യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം ചെയ്യാനുമാണ് അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.

And he seide, Whi eten not ye the sacrifice for synne in the hooli place, which sacrifice is hooli `of the noumbre of hooli thingis, and is youun to you, that ye bere the wickydnesse of the multitude, and preye for it in the siyt of the Lord;

18 അതിന്റെ രക്തം വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ കൊണ്ടുവരാഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ കൽപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ കോലാടിനെ നിങ്ങൾ വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു ഭക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതായിരുന്നു.”

19 അഹരോൻ മോശയോടു മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു: “ഇന്ന് അവർ അവരുടെ പാപശുദ്ധീകരണയാഗവും ഹോമയാഗവും യഹോവയുടെമുമ്പാകെ അർപ്പിച്ചു. എനിക്കോ ഇങ്ങനെയെല്ലാം സംഭവിച്ചു. ഇന്നു ഞാൻ പാപശുദ്ധീകരണയാഗം ഭക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ യഹോവ പ്രസാദിക്കുമായിരുന്നോ?”

And Aaron answeride, Sacrifice for synne, and brent sacrifice is offrid to dai bifor the Lord; sotheli this that thou seest, bifelde to me; how myyte Y ete it, ether plese God in cerymonyes with soreuful soule?

20 ഇതു കേട്ടപ്പോൾ മോശയ്ക്കു തൃപ്തിയായി.

And whanne Moises hadde herd this, he resseyuede satisfaccioun.
