യൂദാ 1
1 യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദാസനും യാക്കോബിന്റെ സഹോദരനുമായ യൂദാ, പിതാവായ ദൈവത്താൽ സ്നേഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടും യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനായി സംരക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടുമിരിക്കുന്ന വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർക്ക്, എഴുതുന്നത്:
Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
2 നിങ്ങൾക്കു കരുണയും സമാധാനവും സ്നേഹവും സമൃദ്ധമായി ഉണ്ടാകുമാറാകട്ടെ.
Mercy to you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
3 പ്രിയരേ, നാം പങ്കാളികളായിരിക്കുന്ന രക്ഷയെപ്പറ്റി നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എഴുതാൻ ഞാൻ അത്യന്തം ഉത്സാഹിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ ദൈവം വിശുദ്ധർക്ക് ഒരിക്കലായി ഏൽപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്തിനുവേണ്ടി അടരാടാൻ പ്രബോധിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എഴുതാൻ ഞാൻ നിർബന്ധിതനായി.
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write to you concerning the common salvation, it was needful for me to write to you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints.
4 കാരണം, നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൃപയെ അസാന്മാർഗികജീവിതത്തിനുള്ള ഒരു ഉപാധിയായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുകയും നമ്മുടെ ഏകാധിനാഥനും കർത്താവുമായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനെ നിഷേധിക്കുകയുംചെയ്യുന്ന അഭക്തരായ ചിലർ നിങ്ങളുടെയിടയിൽ നുഴഞ്ഞുകയറിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇവരുടെ ശിക്ഷാവിധി പണ്ടുതന്നെ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
For certain men have crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5 നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം അറിഞ്ഞവരെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളെ ഞാൻ ഓർമിപ്പിക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നത്, കർത്താവ് തന്റെ ജനത്തെ ഒരിക്കലായി ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽനിന്ന് വിടുവിച്ചതിനുശേഷവും വിശ്വാസത്തിൽ നിലനിൽക്കാതിരുന്നവരെ പിന്നീടു നശിപ്പിച്ചു.
I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 ദൈവം ദൂതന്മാരെ ഏൽപ്പിച്ച അധികാരസീമയ്ക്കുള്ളിൽ ഒതുങ്ങിനിൽക്കാതെ തങ്ങളുടെ നിവാസസ്ഥാനം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുപോയ ദൂതന്മാരെ ദൈവം മഹാദിവസത്തിലെ ന്യായവിധിക്കായി നിത്യബന്ധനത്തിലാക്കി ഘോരാന്ധകാരത്തിൽ സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. (aïdios g126)
And the angels who kept not their proper abode, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness to the judgment of the great day. (aïdios g126)
7 അതേവിധത്തിൽ, സൊദോമിലും ഗൊമോറായിലും ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നവർ ഹീനമായ ലൈംഗിക അസാന്മാർഗികതയിൽ മുഴുകി അസ്വാഭാവികമായ ഭോഗവിലാസത്തിൽ ജീവിച്ചതുമൂലം നിത്യാഗ്നിയുടെ ശിക്ഷാവിധി അനുഭവിച്ചത് ഇന്നുള്ളവർക്കും ഒരു അപായസൂചനയായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു. (aiōnios g166)
Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to gross immorality, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. (aiōnios g166)
8 ഇപ്രകാരംതന്നെയാണ് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ നുഴഞ്ഞുകയറിയവരും. അവർ സ്വപ്നദർശികളായി ശരീരത്തെ മലിനമാക്കുകയും അധികാരത്തെ ധിക്കരിക്കുകയും സ്വർഗീയജീവികളെ അധിക്ഷേപിക്കുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നു.
Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
9 എന്നാൽ പ്രധാന ദൂതനായ മീഖായേൽപോലും, മോശയുടെ ശരീരത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് പിശാചിനോടു തർക്കിച്ചപ്പോൾ, “കർത്താവ് നിന്നെ ശാസിക്കട്ടെ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതല്ലാതെ അവനെതിരായി ന്യായവിധിനടത്തി ദൈവദൂഷണം ചെയ്യാൻ മുതിർന്നില്ല.
Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10 എന്നാൽ ഇവരാകട്ടെ, വിശേഷബുദ്ധിയില്ലാതെ ജന്മവാസനകൊണ്ടു ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന മൃഗങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ, തങ്ങൾക്കു ഗ്രഹിക്കാൻ പ്രയാസമുള്ളതിനെയെല്ലാം ദുഷിക്കുന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെ ഇവർ നശിക്കുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നു.
But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11 ഇവർക്കു ഹാ കഷ്ടം! അവർ കയീന്റെ വഴിയിൽ നടക്കുകയും, പ്രതിഫലം മോഹിച്ചു ബിലെയാമിന്റെ വഞ്ചനയ്ക്ക് സ്വയം ഏൽപ്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുകയും കോരഹിന്റെ മത്സരത്തിൽ നശിച്ചുപോകുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നു.
Woe to them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and run greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.
12 ഇവർ നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്നേഹവിരുന്നുകളിലെ കളങ്കങ്ങളാണ്. യാതൊരു ലജ്ജയുമില്ലാതെ തിന്നുകുടിച്ചു മദിക്കുന്നവർ! സ്വന്തം വിശപ്പുമാത്രം തീർക്കുന്ന ഇടയന്മാർ! കാറ്റിൽ പാറിപ്പോകുന്ന, വെള്ളമില്ലാത്ത മേഘങ്ങൾ! ഫലമില്ലാത്തതും പിഴുതെടുത്തതും രണ്ടുവട്ടം ചത്തതുമായ ശരൽക്കാല വൃക്ഷങ്ങൾ!
These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about by winds; late autumn trees, without fruit, twice dead, plucked out by the roots;
13 സ്വന്തം നാണക്കേടിന്റെ നുരയും പതയും വമിച്ച് അലറുന്ന കടൽത്തിരകൾ! കൊടുംതമസ്സിനായി നിത്യം സൂക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന വക്രഗതിയുള്ള നക്ഷത്രങ്ങൾ! (aiōn g165)
Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. (aiōn g165)
14 ആദാംമുതൽ ഏഴാമനായ ഹാനോക്കും ഇവരെക്കുറിച്ച് ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രവചിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു: “സകലരെയും ന്യായംവിധിക്കാനും ദൈവഭയമില്ലാതെ ചെയ്ത സകലതിന്മപ്രവൃത്തികളെക്കുറിച്ചും ഭക്തികെട്ട പാപികൾ കർത്താവിനെതിരേ പറഞ്ഞ സകലനിഷ്ഠുര വചനങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചും അവർക്കു ബോധംവരുത്താനുമായി, കർത്താവ് അവിടത്തെ ആയിരമായിരം വിശുദ്ധരോടുകൂടി ഇതാ വരുന്നു.”
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
To execute judgment upon all, and to convict all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have impiously committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 ഇവർ തങ്ങളുടെ അവസ്ഥയെക്കുറിച്ച് എപ്പോഴും പിറുപിറുക്കുന്നവരും ദോഷംമാത്രം കാണുന്നവരും സ്വന്തം ദുർമോഹങ്ങളെ പിൻതുടരുന്നവരുമാണ്. തങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് ഇവർ പൊങ്ങച്ചം പറയുകയും കാര്യസാധ്യത്തിനായി മുഖസ്തുതി പ്രയോഗിക്കുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നു.
These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.
17 നിങ്ങളോ പ്രിയരേ, നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാർ മുന്നറിയിപ്പായി നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദേശങ്ങൾ ഓർക്കുക.
But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 “അന്ത്യകാലത്തു ഭക്തിവിരുദ്ധമായ സ്വന്തം മോഹങ്ങളെ പിൻതുടരുന്ന പരിഹാസകർ ഉണ്ടാകും” എന്ന് അവർ നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 ലൗകികരും ദൈവാത്മാവ് ഇല്ലാത്തവരുമായ ഇവരാണ് നിങ്ങളുടെയിടയിൽ ഭിന്നിപ്പുണ്ടാക്കുന്നത്.
These are they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 നിങ്ങളോ പ്രിയരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ അതിവിശുദ്ധവിശ്വാസത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കുതന്നെ ആത്മികശാക്തീകരണം വരുത്തിയും പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിൽ പ്രാർഥിച്ചും
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying by the Holy Spirit,
21 നിത്യജീവനായി, നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ കരുണയ്ക്കായി കാത്തിരുന്നും ദൈവസ്നേഹത്തിൽ നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുക. (aiōnios g166)
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
22 ചഞ്ചലമാനസരോടു കരുണ കാണിക്കുക;
And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 ചിലരെ നിത്യാഗ്നിയിൽനിന്നു വലിച്ചെടുത്തു രക്ഷിക്കുക; മറ്റുചിലരോട്, ജീവിതങ്ങളെ മലീമസമാക്കുന്ന അവരുടെ പാപപ്രവൃത്തികളെ വെറുത്തുകൊണ്ട് അത്യധികം ഭയഭക്തിയോടെ സൂക്ഷ്മത പുലർത്തിക്കൊണ്ടു കരുണ കാണിക്കുക.
And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 വീഴാതെ നിങ്ങളെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു തന്റെ തേജസ്സുള്ള സന്നിധിയിൽ മഹാ ആനന്ദത്തോടെ കളങ്കമറ്റവരായി നിർത്താൻ കഴിവുള്ള ദൈവത്തിന്,
Now to him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിലൂടെ നമ്മുടെ രക്ഷകനായ ഏകദൈവത്തിനുതന്നെ, സർവകാലങ്ങൾക്ക് മുമ്പും ഇപ്പോഴും എന്നേക്കും തേജസ്സും മഹിമയും ബലവും ആധിപത്യവും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കട്ടെ! ആമേൻ. (aiōn g165)
To God the only wise, our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
