യോവേൽ 3
1 “ആ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ, ഞാൻ യെഹൂദയുടെയും ജെറുശലേമിന്റെയും ഭാവി യഥാസ്ഥാനപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന സമയത്ത്,
At that time when this happens, when I bring back the exiles to Judah and Jerusalem,
2 ഞാൻ സകലജനതകളെയും ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂട്ടി യെഹോശാഫാത്ത് താഴ്വരയിൽ കൊണ്ടുവരും. ഞാൻ എന്റെ അവകാശമായ ഇസ്രായേൽ എന്ന എന്റെ ജനത്തെക്കുറിച്ച്, അവർക്കെതിരേ ന്യായംവിധിക്കും. അവർ രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങൾക്കിടയിലേക്ക് എന്റെ ജനത്തെ ചിതറിച്ചുകളകയും എന്റെ ദേശത്തെ വിഭജിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തല്ലോ.
I will gather together all the nations in the valley of Jehoshaphat and I will judge them there over my people Israel, my inheritance, whom they have scattered among the nations, and have divided up my land.
3 അവർ എന്റെ ജനത്തിനു നറുക്കിട്ടു; വേശ്യകൾക്കുവേണ്ടി ബാലന്മാരെയും മദ്യം കഴിക്കേണ്ടതിന്, വീഞ്ഞിനുവേണ്ടി അവർ ബാലികമാരെയും വിറ്റു.
They cast lots for my people; they traded boys in payment for prostitutes and girls to buy wine to drink.
4 “സോരും സീദോനും ഉൾപ്പെടെ ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശത്തിലെ സകലജനങ്ങളുമേ, എനിക്കെതിരേ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എന്താണുള്ളത്? ഞാൻ ചെയ്ത ഏതെങ്കിലും പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു നിങ്ങൾ പകരംചെയ്യുകയാണോ? നിങ്ങൾ പകരം ചെയ്യുന്നെങ്കിൽ, നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയെ എത്രയുംവേഗം നിങ്ങളുടെ തലമേൽത്തന്നെ ഞാൻ മടക്കിവരുത്തും.

You stole my silver and my gold and my best treasures, and you put them in your temples.
6 യെഹൂദ്യയിലെയും ജെറുശലേമിലെയും ജനങ്ങളെ സ്വന്തം ദേശത്തുനിന്ന് അകലെ അയച്ചുകളയേണ്ടതിനു, നിങ്ങൾ അവരെ ഗ്രീക്കുകാർക്കു വിറ്റു.
You sold the people of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks so they could be sent far away from their land.
7 “നോക്കുക, നിങ്ങൾ അവരെ വിറ്റുകളഞ്ഞ സ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ ഞാൻ അവരെ ഉത്തേജിപ്പിക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തതിനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ തലമേൽ തിരികെവരുത്തും.
But watch out! I will get them moving from the places you sold them to, and bring them back, and I will pay you back what you deserve for what you've done.
8 ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും യെഹൂദാജനത്തിനു നൽകും. അവർ അവരെ വിദൂരത്തിലുള്ള ശെബായർക്കു വിറ്റുകളയും,” എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

9 ഇതു രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങൾക്കിടയിൽ വിളംബരംചെയ്യുക: യുദ്ധത്തിനു സജ്ജമാകുക! യുദ്ധവീരന്മാരെ ഉത്തേജിപ്പിക്കുക! യുദ്ധവീരന്മാർ അടുത്തുവന്ന് ആക്രമിക്കട്ടെ.
Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war! Call up the mighty warriors! Let all the soldiers get ready and advance!
10 കലപ്പയുടെ കൊഴുക്കളെ വാളുകളായും വാക്കത്തികളെ കുന്തങ്ങളായും അടിക്കുക. “ഞാൻ ശക്തനാണ്,” എന്ന് അശക്തർ പറയട്ടെ.
Hammer your plough blades and turn them into swords. Turn your pruning hooks into spears. Even the weak should say ‘I am a strong fighter!’
11 സകലജനതകളുമേ, എല്ലാ ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും വേഗം വരിക: ആ താഴ്വരയിൽ ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂടുവിൻ. യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ യുദ്ധവീരന്മാരെ കൊണ്ടുവരണമേ!
Hurry up and come, all nations from everywhere, and gather there. Bring down your warriors, Lord!
12 “ജനതകൾ ഉണരട്ടെ; അവർ യെഹോശാഫാത്ത് താഴ്വരയിൽ അണിനിരക്കട്ടെ. കാരണം അവിടെ എല്ലാ ദിക്കുകളിലുമുള്ള സകലജനതകളെയും ന്യായംവിധിക്കാൻ ഞാൻ ഉപവിഷ്ടനാകും.
Let the nations get ready, let them come to the valley of Jehoshaphat for there I will sit in judgment on all the nations.
13 അരിവാൾ വീശുക വിളവു പാകമായിരിക്കുന്നു. വരിക, മുന്തിരി മെതിക്കുക ചക്കു നിറഞ്ഞുകവിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു, വീഞ്ഞുശേഖരം നിറഞ്ഞുകവിയുന്നു— അവരുടെ ദുഷ്ടത അത്ര വലുതായിരിക്കുന്നു.”
Start swinging the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come and tread the grapes for the winepress is full and the vats are overflowing because their wickedness has become so great.
14 വിധിയുടെ താഴ്വരയിൽ ജനക്കൂട്ടം, വലിയൊരു ജനക്കൂട്ടംതന്നെ കാത്തുനിൽക്കുന്നു! വിധിയുടെ താഴ്വരയിൽ യഹോവയുടെ ദിവസം സമീപമായിരിക്കുന്നു.
Huge mobs are in the valley of the Lord's verdict. For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of his verdict.
15 സൂര്യനും ചന്ദ്രനും ഇരുണ്ടുപോകും, നക്ഷത്രങ്ങൾ ഇനി പ്രകാശിക്കുകയില്ല.
The sun and moon will become dark, and the stars will stop shining.
16 യഹോവ സീയോനിൽനിന്ന് ഗർജിക്കും ജെറുശലേമിൽനിന്ന് ഇടിമുഴക്കും; ഭൂമിയും ആകാശവും വിറയ്ക്കും. എന്നാൽ യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിന് ഒരു സങ്കേതവും ഇസ്രായേലിന് ഒരു കോട്ടയുമായിരിക്കും.
The Lord will roar from Zion, shouting in a loud voice from Jerusalem, shaking the heavens and the earth. But the Lord will shelter his people, protecting the people of Israel.
17 “നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്ന ഞാൻ, എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർവതമായ സീയോനിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും. ജെറുശലേം വിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും; വിദേശസൈന്യം ഇനിയൊരിക്കലും അവളെ ആക്രമിക്കുകയില്ല.
Then you will know that I, the Lord your God, dwell in Zion, my holy mountain, and Jerusalem will be a holy place forever, and no foreigners will ever march through her again.
18 “ആ ദിവസം പർവതങ്ങൾ പുതുവീഞ്ഞു വർഷിക്കും, കുന്നുകൾ പാൽ ഒഴുക്കും; യെഹൂദാതാഴ്വരകളിലെ അരുവികളിലെല്ലാം വെള്ളം ഒഴുകും. യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽനിന്ന് ഒരു ഉറവ പ്രവഹിച്ച് ശിത്തീം താഴ്വരകളെ നനയ്ക്കും.
At that time new wine will pour down the mountains, and the hills will flow with milk, and all the riverbeds of Judah will run with water. A spring will flow out of the Temple and will water the valley of Shittim.
19 ഈജിപ്റ്റ് ശൂന്യമാകും, ഏദോം മരുഭൂമിയാകും, അവർ യെഹൂദാജനത്തോടു ചെയ്ത അക്രമം നിമിത്തവും ദേശത്തു നിഷ്കളങ്കരക്തം ചിന്തിയതു നിമിത്തവുംതന്നെ.
But Egypt will become desolate, and Edom a desert wasteland, because of the violence they did against Judah, for in their land they shed innocent blood.
20 യെഹൂദ്യയിൽ എന്നേക്കും ആൾപ്പാർപ്പുണ്ടാകും എല്ലാ തലമുറകളിലും ജെറുശലേമിൽ ആളുകൾ പാർക്കും.
Judah will be lived in forever, and Jerusalem for all generations.
21 അവരുടെ നിഷ്കളങ്കരക്തത്തിനുള്ള ഞാൻ പ്രതികാരംചെയ്യാതെ വിടുമോ? ഇല്ല, ഒരിക്കലുമില്ല.”
Will I pardon and leave unpunished the shedding of innocent blood? The Lord lives in Zion!”
