ഇയ്യോബ് 36
1 എലീഹൂ പിന്നെയും ഇപ്രകാരം പറഞ്ഞു:
Elihu also proceeded and sayde,
2 “എന്നോടൊരൽപ്പംകൂടി ക്ഷമിക്കുക; ദൈവത്തിനുവേണ്ടി ഇനിയും സംസാരിക്കാനുണ്ടെന്നു ഞാൻ നിനക്കു കാട്ടിത്തരാം.
Suffer me a litle, and I will instruct thee: for I haue yet to speake on Gods behalfe.
3 ഞാൻ ദൂരത്തുനിന്ന് എന്റെ അറിവു കൊണ്ടുവരും; എന്റെ സ്രഷ്ടാവ് നീതിമാൻ എന്നു തെളിയിക്കും.
I will fetche my knowledge afarre off, and will attribute righteousnes vnto my Maker.
4 വാസ്തവമായും എന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ വ്യാജമല്ല; ജ്ഞാനത്തിൽ പരിപൂർണനായവനാണ് നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ നിൽക്കുന്നത്.
For truely my wordes shall not be false, and he that is perfect in knowledge, speaketh with thee.
5 “ദൈവം ശക്തനാണ്, എന്നാൽ അവിടന്ന് ആരെയും നിന്ദിക്കുകയില്ല; തന്റെ നിർണയത്തിൽ അവിടന്ന് ശക്തനും അചഞ്ചലനുമാണ്.
Behold, the mighty God casteth away none that is mighty and valiant of courage.
6 അവിടന്നു ദുഷ്ടരെ ജീവിക്കാൻ അനുവദിക്കുകയില്ല എന്നാൽ പീഡിതർക്ക് അവരുടെ അവകാശങ്ങൾ നൽകുന്നു.
He mainteineth not the wicked, but he giueth iudgement to the afflicted.
7 നീതിനിഷ്ഠരിൽനിന്ന് അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടി പിൻവലിക്കുന്നില്ല; അവിടന്ന് അവരെ രാജാക്കന്മാരോടൊപ്പം സിംഹാസനാരൂഢരാക്കുകയും എന്നെന്നേക്കുമായി ഉയർത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous, but they are with Kings in ye throne, where he placeth them for euer: thus they are exalted.
8 എന്നാൽ മനുഷ്യർ ചങ്ങലകളാൽ ബന്ധിതരായി ദുരിതങ്ങളുടെ ചരടുകളാൽ പിടിക്കപ്പെട്ടാൽ
And if they bee bound in fetters and tyed with the cordes of affliction,
9 അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയും അവർ അഹങ്കാരംനിമിത്തം ചെയ്തുപോയ പാപങ്ങളും അവർക്കു കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നു.
Then will he shewe them their worke and their sinnes, because they haue bene proude.
10 തെറ്റുകൾ തിരുത്തുന്നതിനായി അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ കാതുകൾ തുറക്കുന്നു; തിന്മയിൽനിന്ന് മടങ്ങിവരാൻ അവരോട് ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്നു.
He openeth also their eare to discipline, and commandeth them that they returne from iniquity.
11 അവർ അതുകേട്ട് അവിടത്തെ സേവിച്ചാൽ തങ്ങളുടെ ശിഷ്ടകാലം ഐശ്വര്യത്തിൽ ജീവിക്കും അവരുടെ സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ സംതൃപ്തിയോടെ പൂർത്തിയാക്കും.
If they obey and serue him, they shall end their dayes in prosperity, and their yeres in pleasures.
12 ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിലോ, അവർ വാളാൽ നശിച്ചുപോകും, പരിജ്ഞാനംകൂടാതെ മരണമടയും.
But if they wil not obey, they shall passe by the sworde, and perish without knowledge.
13 “അഭക്തർ തങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ കോപം സംഗ്രഹിച്ചുവെക്കുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് അവരെ ചങ്ങലയ്ക്കിടുമ്പോഴും അവർ സഹായത്തിനായി നിലവിളിക്കുന്നില്ല.
But the hypocrites of heart increase the wrath: for they call not when he bindeth them.
14 ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിലെ പുരുഷവേശ്യകളോടൊപ്പം അവരും യൗവനത്തിൽത്തന്നെ മരിക്കുന്നു.
Their soule dyeth in youth, and their life among the whoremongers.
15 അവിടന്നു പീഡിതരെ തങ്ങളുടെ പീഡയിൽനിന്ന് വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ അവരോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.
He deliuereth the poore in his affliction, and openeth their eare in trouble.
16 “അങ്ങനെതന്നെ താങ്കളെയും അവിടന്ന് ഞെരുക്കത്തിന്റെ വായിൽനിന്ന് വിശാലതയിലേക്ക്; വിശിഷ്ടഭോജ്യത്താൽ സമൃദ്ധമായ മേശയിലേക്കുതന്നെ ആഹ്വാനംചെയ്യുന്നു.
Euen so woulde he haue taken thee out of the streight place into a broade place and not shut vp beneath: and that which resteth vpon thy table, had bene full of fat.
17 താങ്കളോ, ദുഷ്ടരെ വിധിക്കുന്നതിൽ മുഴുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു; വിധികൽപ്പനയും ന്യായവാദവും താങ്കളെ പിടിച്ചടക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
But thou art ful of the iudgement of the wicked, though iudgement and equitie maintaine all things.
18 ആരും താങ്കളെ സമ്പത്തുകൊണ്ട് പ്രലോഭിപ്പിക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ ജാഗ്രതപുലർത്തുക; കൈക്കൂലിയുടെ വലുപ്പം താങ്കളെ വഴിതെറ്റിക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.
For Gods wrath is, least hee should take that away in thine abundance: for no multitude of giftes can deliuer thee.
19 താങ്കൾ ദുരിതത്തിൽ അകപ്പെടാതെ പരിപാലിക്കുന്നതിന് താങ്കളുടെ സമ്പത്തിനോ അതിശയകരമായ പ്രയത്നങ്ങൾക്കോ കഴിയുമോ?
Wil he regard thy riches? he regardeth not golde, nor all them that excel in strength.
20 ജനങ്ങളെ തങ്ങളുടെ ഭവനങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു വലിച്ചിഴയ്ക്കുന്ന രാത്രിക്കായി താങ്കൾ മോഹിക്കരുത്.
Be not carefull in the night, howe he destroyeth the people out of their place.
21 അനീതിയിലേക്കു തിരിയാതിരിക്കാൻ സൂക്ഷിക്കുക, പീഡനത്തെക്കാൾ അതിനോടാണല്ലോ താങ്കൾക്ക് ആഭിമുഖ്യം.
Take thou heede: looke not to iniquitie: for thou hast chosen it rather then affliction.
22 “നോക്കൂ, ദൈവം ശക്തിയിൽ എത്ര ഉന്നതനാകുന്നു; അവിടത്തെപ്പോലെ ഒരു ഗുരു ആരാണ്?
Beholde, God exalteth by his power: what teacher is like him?
23 അവിടത്തേക്ക് മാർഗനിർദേശം നൽകിയവൻ ആരാണ്? ‘അങ്ങു തെറ്റ് ചെയ്തു,’ എന്ന് ആർക്ക് അവിടത്തോട് പറയാൻകഴിയും?
Who hath appointed to him his way? or who can say, Thou hast done wickedly?
24 മനുഷ്യർ പാടി പ്രകീർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള അവിടത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തി, മഹിമപ്പെടുത്താൻ മറക്കാതിരിക്കുക.
Remember that thou magnifie his worke, which men behold.
25 സകലമനുഷ്യരും അതു കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്; മനുഷ്യർ ദൂരത്തുനിന്ന് അത് ഉറ്റുനോക്കും.
All men see it, and men beholde it afarre off.
26 ദൈവം എത്രയോ ഉന്നതൻ—നമ്മുടെ സകലവിവേകത്തിനും അതീതൻ! അവിടത്തെ സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ നമ്മുടെ ഗണനയിൽ ഒതുങ്ങുന്നുമില്ല.
Beholde, God is excellent, and we knowe him not, neither can the nomber of his yeres bee searched out.
27 “അവിടന്നു നീർത്തുള്ളികളെ സംഭരിക്കുന്നു; അവ നീരാവിയായി മഴപൊഴിക്കുന്നു.
When he restraineth the droppes of water, the rayne powreth down by the vapour thereof,
28 മേഘങ്ങൾ ഘനീഭവിച്ച് മഴപൊഴിക്കുന്നു; മനുഷ്യന്റെമേൽ അതു സമൃദ്ധമായി വർഷിക്കുന്നു.
Which raine the cloudes do droppe and let fall abundantly vpon man.
29 അവിടന്ന് മേഘങ്ങളെ എങ്ങനെ വിന്യസിക്കുന്നു എന്നും അവിടത്തെ കൂടാരത്തിൽനിന്ന് എങ്ങനെ ഇടിമുഴക്കുന്നു എന്നും ആർക്കു ഗ്രഹിക്കാൻ കഴിയും?
Who can know the diuisions of ye clouds and the thunders of his tabernacle?
30 അവിടന്നു മിന്നൽപ്പിണർ തനിക്കുചുറ്റും എങ്ങനെ ചിതറിക്കുന്നു എന്നും സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ അടിത്തട്ടുകൾ എങ്ങനെ മൂടുന്നു എന്നും കാണുക.
Beholde, he spreadeth his light vpon it, and couereth the bottome of the sea.
31 ഇപ്രകാരം അവിടന്നു ജനതകളെ ഭരിക്കുന്നു; ഭക്ഷണവും സമൃദ്ധമായി ദാനംചെയ്യുന്നു.
For thereby hee iudgeth the people, and giueth meate abundantly.
32 തന്റെ കൈകൾ അവിടന്നു മിന്നൽപ്പിണർകൊണ്ടു പൊതിയുന്നു; നിർദിഷ്ടലക്ഷ്യത്തിൽ പതിക്കാൻ അവിടന്ന് അതിനെ നിയോഗിക്കുന്നു.
He couereth the light with the clouds, and commandeth them to go against it.
33 അവിടത്തെ ഗർജനം കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിന്റെ ആഗമനം വിളിച്ചറിയിക്കുന്നു; കന്നുകാലികളും അതിന്റെ വരവിനെപ്പറ്റി അറിവു കൊടുക്കുന്നു.
His companion sheweth him thereof, and there is anger in rising vp.
