ഇയ്യോബ് 30
1 “എന്നാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ എന്നെക്കാൾ പ്രായംകുറഞ്ഞവർ എന്നെ പരിഹസിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ എന്റെ ആട്ടിൻപറ്റത്തിന്റെ കാവൽനായ്ക്കളോടൊപ്പം നിർത്താൻപോലും യോഗ്യരായിരുന്നില്ല.
Bvt now they that are yonger then I, mocke me: yea, they whose fathers I haue refused to set with the dogges of my flockes.
2 വാസ്തവത്തിൽ അവരുടെ കൈക്കരുത്ത് എനിക്കെന്തു മെച്ചമുണ്ടാക്കി? അവരുടെ ഊർജസ്വലത അവരിൽനിന്നു ചോർന്നുപോയല്ലോ.
For whereto shoulde the strength of their handes haue serued mee, seeing age perished in them?
3 ദാരിദ്ര്യവും വിശപ്പുംനിമിത്തം മെലിഞ്ഞുണങ്ങിയ അവർ, രാത്രിസമയത്ത് വിജനസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും വരണ്ടുണങ്ങിയ നിലങ്ങളിലും അലഞ്ഞുനടന്നു.
For pouertie and famine they were solitary, fleeing into the wildernes, which is darke, desolate and waste.
4 അവർ കുറ്റിക്കാട്ടിൽ ഓരുനിലത്തെ ചീര പറിക്കുന്നു; കാട്ടുകിഴങ്ങ് അവർക്ക് ആഹാരമായിരിക്കുന്നു.
They cut vp nettels by the bushes, and the iuniper rootes was their meate.
5 അവർ സമൂഹത്തിൽനിന്ന് നിഷ്കാസിതരായിരിക്കുന്നു; മോഷ്ടാക്കളെപ്പോലെ ആട്ടിയോടിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരാണ് അവർ.
They were chased forth from among men: they shouted at them, as at a theefe.
6 തന്മൂലം അവർ നീർച്ചാലുകളുടെ തടങ്ങളിലും പാറയുടെ വിള്ളലുകളിലും ഗുഹകളിലും പാർക്കാൻ നിർബന്ധിതരാകുന്നു.
Therfore they dwelt in the clefts of riuers, in the holes of the earth and rockes.
7 കുറ്റിക്കാടുകളിൽനിന്ന് മൃഗങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ അവർ ഓരിയിടുന്നു; അടിക്കാടുകൾക്കിടയിൽ അവർ ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂടുന്നു.
They roared among the bushes, and vnder the thistles they gathered themselues.
8 അവർ ഭോഷരുടെ മക്കൾ, നീചസന്തതികൾ; ദേശത്തുനിന്ന് അവരെ അടിച്ചോടിക്കുന്നു.
They were the children of fooles and the children of villaines, which were more vile then the earth.
9 “ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അവർക്കൊരു ഹാസ്യഗാനമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഒരു പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലായിത്തന്നെ മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
And now am I their song, and I am their talke.
10 അവർ എന്നെ വെറുത്ത് എന്നിൽനിന്ന് അകന്നുനിൽക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ മുഖത്ത് തുപ്പുന്നതിനുപോലും അവർ മടിക്കുന്നില്ല.
They abhorre me, and flee farre from mee, and spare not to spit in my face.
11 കാരണം, ദൈവം എന്റെ വില്ലിന്റെ ഞാണഴിച്ച് എന്നെ കഷ്ടതയിലാക്കുന്നു. എന്റെമുമ്പിൽ അവർ കയറൂരിവിട്ടവരെപ്പോലെ ആകുന്നു.
Because that God hath loosed my corde and humbled mee, they haue loosed the bridle before me.
12 എന്റെ വലതുഭാഗത്ത് അവരുടെ വർഗം ആക്രമിക്കുന്നു എന്റെ കാലുകൾക്കായി കുരുക്കിടുന്നു. അവർ എനിക്കെതിരേ നാശതന്ത്രങ്ങൾ ഒരുക്കുന്നു.
The youth rise vp at my right hand: they haue pusht my feete, and haue trode on me as on the paths of their destruction.
13 അവർ എന്റെ പാത തകർക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിൽ അവർ വിജയം കണ്ടെത്തുന്നു. ‘അവനെ സഹായിക്കാൻ ആരും വരികയില്ല,’ എന്ന് അവർ പറയുന്നു.
They haue destroyed my paths: they tooke pleasure at my calamitie, they had none helpe.
14 വായ് തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പിളർപ്പിലൂടെ എന്നപോലെ അവർ കയറിവരുന്നു; ഇടിഞ്ഞുതകർന്ന അവശിഷ്ടങ്ങൾക്കിടയിലൂടെ അവർ എന്റെനേരേ ഉരുണ്ടുവരുന്നു.
They came as a great breach of waters, and vnder this calamitie they come on heapes.
15 ഭീകരതകൾ എനിക്കെതിരേ ഉയർന്നുവരുന്നു; കാറ്റിനാൽ എന്നപോലെ അവർ എന്റെ മഹത്ത്വം പാറ്റിക്കളയുന്നു; എന്റെ ഐശ്വര്യം ഒരു മേഘംപോലെ നീങ്ങിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു.
Feare is turned vpon mee: and they pursue my soule as the winde, and mine health passeth away as a cloude.
16 “ഇപ്പോൾ എന്റെ പ്രാണൻ എന്റെയുള്ളിൽ തൂകിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു; ആകുലതയുടെ ദിവസങ്ങൾ എന്നെ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
Therefore my soule is nowe powred out vpon me, and the dayes of affliction haue taken holde on me.
17 രാത്രിയിൽ അത് എന്റെ അസ്ഥികളിൽ തുരന്നുകയറുന്നു; കാർന്നുതിന്നുന്ന വേദനയ്ക്ക് ഒരു ശമനവും ഉണ്ടാകുന്നില്ല.
It pearceth my bones in the night, and my sinewes take no rest.
18 ദൈവം തന്റെ അദമ്യശക്തിയാൽ ഒരു വസ്ത്രംപോലെ എന്നെ ആവരണം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; കുപ്പായക്കഴുത്തുപോലെ അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ മുറുകെ പിടിക്കുന്നു.
For the great vehemencie is my garment changed, which compasseth me about as the colar of my coate.
19 അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ ചെളിയിലേക്കു വലിച്ചെറിയുന്നു; ഞാൻ ധൂളിയും ചാമ്പലുംപോലെ ആയിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
He hath cast me into the myre, and I am become like ashes and dust.
20 “ദൈവമേ, സഹായത്തിനായി ഞാൻ അങ്ങയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചിട്ടും അങ്ങ് ഉത്തരം നൽകുന്നില്ല; ഞാൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു നിൽക്കുന്നു, എന്നാൽ അങ്ങ് എന്നെ ഒന്നു നോക്കുകപോലും ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല.
Whe I cry vnto thee, thou doest not heare me, neither regardest me, when I stand vp.
21 അങ്ങ് എന്നോടു ക്രൂരനായിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ കരബലത്താൽ എന്നെ ആക്രമിക്കുന്നു.
Thou turnest thy selfe cruelly against me, and art enemie vnto mee with the strength of thine hand.
22 അങ്ങ് എന്നെ കാറ്റിന്മേൽ കയറ്റി പറപ്പിക്കുന്നു; കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിൽ ഞാൻ ആടി ഉലയുന്നു.
Thou takest me vp and causest mee to ride vpon the winde, and makest my strength to faile.
23 അങ്ങ് എന്നെ മരണത്തിലേക്കാനയിക്കുമെന്ന് എനിക്കറിയാം, ജീവനുള്ളവരെല്ലാം ചെന്നുചേരുന്ന ഭവനത്തിലേക്കുതന്നെ.
Surely I knowe that thou wilt bring mee to death, and to the house appoynted for all the liuing.
24 “ഒരാൾ നാശക്കൂമ്പാരത്തിൽനിന്ന് സഹായത്തിനായി കൈനീട്ടി നിലവിളിക്കുമ്പോൾ ആരും അയാളുടെമേൽ കൈവെക്കുകയില്ല എന്നതു നിശ്ചയം?
Doubtles none can stretch his hand vnto the graue, though they cry in his destruction.
25 കഷ്ടതയിലിരിക്കുന്നവർക്കുവേണ്ടി ഞാൻ കരഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലേ? ദരിദ്രരെ ഓർത്ത് എന്റെ ഹൃദയം ദുഃഖിച്ചിട്ടില്ലേ?
Did not I weepe with him that was in trouble? was not my soule in heauinesse for the poore?
26 ഞാൻ നന്മ പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചപ്പോൾ തിന്മ വന്നുചേർന്നു; പ്രകാശത്തിനായി ഞാൻ നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ അന്ധകാരം പടർന്നിറങ്ങി.
Yet when I looked for good, euill came vnto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkenesse.
27 എന്റെ ഹൃദയം തിളയ്ക്കുന്നു, വിശ്രമം ലഭിക്കുന്നില്ല; ദുരിതദിവസങ്ങൾ എന്നോട് ഏറ്റുമുട്ടുന്നു.
My bowels did boyle without rest: for the dayes of affliction are come vpon me.
28 ഞാൻ കറുത്തിരുണ്ടവനായി നടക്കുന്നു; വെയിൽ കൊണ്ടിട്ടല്ലതാനും. സഭയിൽ ഞാൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റ് സഹായത്തിനായി നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു.
I went mourning without sunne: I stood vp in the congregation and cryed.
29 ഞാൻ കുറുനരികൾക്കു സഹോദരനും ഒട്ടകപ്പക്ഷികൾക്കു സഹചാരിയുമായി മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
I am a brother to the dragons, and a companion to the ostriches.
30 എന്റെ ത്വക്കു കറുത്തു പൊളിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു; എന്റെ ശരീരം ജ്വരം ഹേതുവായി ചുട്ടുപൊള്ളുന്നു.
My skinne is blacke vpon me, and my bones are burnt with heate.
31 എന്റെ കിന്നരം രോദനമായും എന്റെ കുഴൽനാദം വിലാപത്തിന് അനുരണനമായും ആലപിക്കുന്നു.
Therefore mine harpe is turned to mourning, and mine organs into the voyce of them that weepe.
