യിരെമ്യാവു 33

1 യിരെമ്യാവിനെ കാവൽപ്പുരമുറ്റത്തു തടവിലാക്കിയിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് രണ്ടാംപ്രാവശ്യം അദ്ദേഹത്തിനുണ്ടായി:

And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah a second time, while he was still confined to the atrium of the prison, saying:

2 “ഭൂമിയെ നിർമിച്ച് സ്വസ്ഥാനത്ത് സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തിയ യഹോവ—അതേ, യഹോവ എന്നാകുന്നു അവിടത്തെ നാമം—ആ യഹോവതന്നെ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

“Thus says the Lord, who will prepare, and form, and accomplish it; the Lord is his name.

3 ‘എന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുക, ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് ഉത്തരമരുളും; നീ അറിയാത്ത മഹത്തും അഗോചരവുമായ കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അറിയിക്കും.’

Cry out to me and I will heed you. And I will announce to you great things, things that are certain, though you do not know them.

4 ബാബേല്യരുമായുള്ള യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഉപരോധത്തിന്റെ ചരിഞ്ഞ പാതയ്ക്കും വാളിനുമെതിരായി ഉപയോഗിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഈ നഗരത്തിൽ തകർക്കപ്പെട്ട വീടുകളെയും യെഹൂദയിലെ രാജകൊട്ടാരങ്ങളെയുംകുറിച്ച് ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇതാണ് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നത്:

For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, to the houses of this city, and to the houses of the king of Judah, which have been destroyed, and to the fortifications, and to the sword

5 ‘അത് എന്റെ കോപത്തിലും ക്രോധത്തിലും ഞാൻ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞ മനുഷ്യരുടെ ശവങ്ങൾകൊണ്ട് അവയെ നിറയ്ക്കും. അവരുടെ സകലദുഷ്ടതകളുംനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ എന്റെ മുഖത്തെ ഈ നഗരത്തിനു മറച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

of those who have arrived, so that they may fight with the Chaldeans, and so that they may have their fill of the dead bodies of the men whom I have struck down in my fury and in my indignation, concealing my face from this city, because of all their wickedness:

6 “‘ഇതാ, ഞാൻ അവർക്ക് ആരോഗ്യവും സൗഖ്യവും വരുത്തും; ഞാൻ എന്റെ ജനത്തെ സൗഖ്യമാക്കുകയും സമാധാനത്തിന്റെയും സത്യത്തിന്റെയും സമൃദ്ധി ആസ്വദിക്കാൻ ഞാൻ അവരെ അനുവദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

Behold, I will lead over them scars and health, and I will cure them. And I will reveal to them an invocation of peace and truth.

7 ഞാൻ ഇസ്രായേലിനെയും യെഹൂദയെയും അടിമത്തത്തിൽനിന്നു മടക്കിവരുത്തുകയും അവർ പണ്ട് ആയിരുന്നതുപോലെ അവരെ വീണ്ടും പണിതുയർത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും.

And I will convert the turning away of Judah and the turning away of Jerusalem. And I will build them up, just as from the beginning.

8 അവർ എനിക്കെതിരേ ചെയ്ത അവരുടെ എല്ലാ പാപങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും ഞാൻ അവരെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കും, അവർ എനിക്കെതിരേ മത്സരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ചെയ്ത എല്ലാ പാപങ്ങളും ഞാൻ അവരോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.

And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, by which they have sinned against me. And I will forgive all their iniquities, by which they have offended against me and have despised me.

9 ഞാൻ ഈ നഗരത്തിനുവേണ്ടി ചെയ്യുന്ന, സകലനന്മകളെയുംകുറിച്ച് ഭൂമിയിലെ എല്ലാ രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളും കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ, അവരുടെമുമ്പിൽ എനിക്കു കീർത്തിയും ആനന്ദവും സ്തോത്രവും മഹത്ത്വവും ഈ നഗരം കൊണ്ടുവരും; ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ചെയ്യുന്ന എല്ലാ നന്മകളും സമാധാനവും നിമിത്തം സ്തബ്ധരാകുകയും ഭയന്നുവിറയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.’

And this will be for me: a name, and a joy, and a praise, and an exultation, among all the nations of the earth who will hear about all the good things that I will accomplish for them. And they will be afraid and troubled over all these good things, and over all the peace, that I will accomplish for them.

10 “യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ‘മനുഷ്യരോ മൃഗങ്ങളോ ഇല്ലാത്ത പാഴുംശൂന്യവുമായ സ്ഥലം, എന്ന് ഈ സ്ഥലത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നു. എന്നാൽ ശൂന്യവും, മനുഷ്യരോ മൃഗങ്ങളോ അധിവസിക്കാത്തതുമായ യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ജെറുശലേമിന്റെ വീഥികളിലും ഇനിയൊരിക്കൽക്കൂടി,

Thus says the Lord: Still shall there be heard in this place, (which you say is desolate, because there is neither man nor beast, ) and in the cities of Judah and outside of Jerusalem, (which are desolate, without man, and without an inhabitant and without cattle, )

11 ആനന്ദത്തിന്റെയും ആഹ്ലാദത്തിന്റെയും ആരവങ്ങളും മണവാളന്റെയും മണവാട്ടിയുടെയും തേൻമൊഴികളും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കു സ്തോത്രയാഗങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന്, “‘“സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയ്ക്കു സ്തോത്രംചെയ്‌വിൻ, യഹോവ നല്ലവനല്ലോ; അവിടത്തെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹം ശാശ്വതമായിരിക്കുന്നു,” എന്നു പറയുന്നവരുടെ ശബ്ദങ്ങളും കേൾക്കപ്പെടും. കാരണം ഈ ദേശത്തിന്റെ സമ്പൽസമൃദ്ധി ഞാൻ തിരികെ നൽകും,’ എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളുന്നു.

the voice of gladness and the voice of rejoicing, the voice of the groom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who will say: ‘Confess to the Lord of hosts! For the Lord is good! For his mercy is eternal!’ and the voice of those fulfilling their vows in the house of the Lord. For I will lead back the turning away of the land, just as from the beginning, says the Lord.”

12 “സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ‘മനുഷ്യനോ മൃഗമോ ഇല്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമായിക്കിടന്ന ഈ സ്ഥലത്തും അതിലെ എല്ലാ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ആട്ടിൻപറ്റത്തിനു വിശ്രമം നൽകുന്ന ഇടയന്മാരുടെ മേച്ചിൽപ്പുറം ഉണ്ടാകും.

Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Still shall there be in this place, (which is desolate without man and without beast, ) and in all of its cities: a habitation for the shepherds giving rest to their flocks.

13 മലമ്പ്രദേശത്തുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും പശ്ചിമഭാഗത്തെ കുന്നിൻപ്രദേശത്തെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ദക്ഷിണദേശത്തെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ബെന്യാമീൻദേശത്തും ജെറുശലേമിനു ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലും യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ആട്ടിൻപറ്റത്തെ എണ്ണിനോക്കുന്നവരുടെ കൈക്കീഴിലൂടെ അജഗണങ്ങൾ കടന്നുപോകുമെന്ന് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്.

For even in the cities on the mountains, and in the cities on the plains, and in the cities that are toward the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and all around Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, still shall the flocks travel by the hand of him who numbers them, says the Lord.

14 “‘ഇതാ, ഇസ്രായേൽജനത്തിനും യെഹൂദാജനത്തിനും ഞാൻ അരുളിയിട്ടുള്ള നല്ല വാഗ്ദാനം ഞാൻതന്നെ നിറവേറ്റുന്ന കാലം വരുന്നു,’ എന്ന് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്.

Behold, the days are approaching, says the Lord, when I will fulfill the good word that I have spoken to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.

15 “‘ആ നാളുകളിലും ആ കാലത്തും ദാവീദിന്റെ നീതിയുള്ള ശാഖയായവൻ ഉയർന്നുവരാൻ ഞാൻ ഇടവരുത്തും. അവൻ ഭൂമിയിൽ ന്യായവും നീതിയും നടപ്പിലാക്കും.

In those days and at that time, I will cause the seedling of justice to spring up from David, and he will accomplish judgment and justice upon the earth.

16 ആ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ യെഹൂദാ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും, ജെറുശലേം സുരക്ഷിതരായി ജീവിക്കും. യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ നീതിമാനായ രക്ഷകൻ, എന്ന പേരിനാൽ അദ്ദേഹം അറിയപ്പെടും.’

In those days, Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will live in confidence. And this is the name that they will call him: ‘The Lord, our Just One.’

17 കാരണം യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ‘ഇസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കാൻ ദാവീദിന് ഒരു പുരുഷൻ ഇല്ലാതെ വരികയില്ല,

For thus says the Lord: There shall not cease to be a man from David sitting upon the throne of the house of Israel.

18 ദിനംതോറും ഹോമയാഗങ്ങൾ അർപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും ഭോജനയാഗങ്ങൾ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും മറ്റു യാഗങ്ങൾ അർപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും ലേവ്യപുരോഹിതന്മാർക്ക് എന്റെമുമ്പാകെ നിൽക്കാൻ ഒരു പുരുഷൻ ഇല്ലാതെപോകുകയുമില്ല.’”

And there shall not cease to be a man from the priests and from the Levites before my face, who offers holocausts, and burns sacrifices, and kills victims, for days without end.”

19 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് യിരെമ്യാവിന് ഉണ്ടായി:

And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying:

20 “യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ‘ഞാൻ പകലിനോടുചെയ്ത എന്റെ ഉടമ്പടിയും രാത്രിയോടുചെയ്ത എന്റെ ഉടമ്പടിയും ലംഘിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് പകലും രാത്രിയും അതതിന്റെ നിശ്ചിതസമയത്ത് വരാതെയാക്കാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കഴിയുമെങ്കിൽ,

“Thus says the Lord: If my covenant with the day is able to be nullified, or my covenant with the night, such that there would be no day and no night in their time,

21 എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന് അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിലിരിക്കാൻ ഒരു മകൻ ഇല്ലാതെവരത്തക്കവിധം അവനോടുള്ള എന്റെ ഉടമ്പടിയും എന്റെമുമ്പാകെ ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്യുന്ന ലേവ്യപുരോഹിതന്മാരോടുമുള്ള എന്റെ ഉടമ്പടിയും ലംഘിക്കപ്പെടാം.

then, too, my covenant with David, my servant, may be nullified, such that he would not have a son who reigns upon his throne, with both the Levites and the priests as my ministers.

22 ആകാശത്തിലെ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെ എണ്ണിനോക്കാനും കടൽത്തീരത്തെ മണലിനെ അളക്കാനും കഴിയാത്തതുപോലെ എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന്റെ സന്തതിയെയും എനിക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്യുന്ന ലേവ്യരെയും ഞാൻ അസംഖ്യമായി വർധിപ്പിക്കും.’”

Just as the stars of heaven are not able to be numbered, and the sand of the sea is not able to be measured, so will I multiply the offspring of David, my servant, and the Levites, my ministers.”

23 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് ഇപ്രകാരം യിരെമ്യാവിനുണ്ടായി:

And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying:

24 “‘യഹോവ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത രണ്ടു രാജ്യങ്ങളെയും അവിടന്നു തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു,’ എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഈ ജനങ്ങൾ പറയുന്ന വാക്ക് നീ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചില്ലേ? ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ എന്റെ ജനതയെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നു, തുടർന്ന് അവരെ ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രമായി പരിഗണിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

“Have you not seen what this people has spoken? They say: ‘The two families which the Lord had chosen have been rejected.’ And so they have despised my people, as if they were no longer a nation in their sight.

25 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ‘പകലിനോടും രാത്രിയോടുമുള്ള എന്റെ ഉടമ്പടി നിലനിൽക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ, ആകാശത്തിന്റെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും നിശ്ചിതവ്യവസ്ഥ ഞാൻ നിയമിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെങ്കിൽ,

Thus says the Lord: If I have not established my covenant with the day and the night, and my laws over heaven and earth,

26 ഞാൻ യാക്കോബിന്റെയും എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന്റെയും സന്തതിയെ, അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെയും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെയും യാക്കോബിന്റെയും സന്തതികൾക്കു ഭരണാധിപന്മാരായിരിക്കാൻ അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽനിന്ന് ഒരാളെ എടുക്കാൻ സാധിക്കാത്തവിധം തള്ളിക്കളയും. എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പ്രവാസികളെ മടക്കിവരുത്തുകയും അവരോടു കരുണ കാണിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.’”

then truly I will also cast aside the offspring of Jacob, and of David, my servant, so that I do not take up any of his offspring to be leaders over the offspring of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For I will lead back their turning away, and I will take pity on them.”
