ഹോശേയ 6

1 “വരിക, നമുക്കു യഹോവയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകാം. യഹോവ നമ്മെ കടിച്ചുകീറിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അവിടന്നു നമ്മെ സൗഖ്യമാക്കും. അവിടന്നു നമ്മെ മുറിവേൽപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടന്നുതന്നെ നമ്മുടെ മുറിവു കെട്ടും.

“Come, and let us return to Jehovah! For he hath torn, and he will heal us; He hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

2 രണ്ടുദിവസത്തിനുശേഷം അവിടന്ന് നമ്മെ ജീവിപ്പിക്കും; മൂന്നാംദിവസം അവിടന്ന് നമ്മെ പുനരുദ്ധരിക്കും, നാം അവിടത്തെ സാന്നിധ്യത്തിൽ ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിനുതന്നെ.

After two days will he revive us, On the third day he will raise us up, And we shall live in his presence,

3 നാം യഹോവയെ അംഗീകരിക്കുക; അവിടത്തെ അംഗീകരിക്കാൻ നാം ജാഗ്രതയുള്ളവരായിരിക്കുക. സൂര്യോദയംപോലെ സുനിശ്ചിതമായിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ആയിരിക്കും അവിടത്തെ പ്രത്യക്ഷതയും. അവിടന്നു ശീതകാലമഴപോലെ നമുക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷനാകും വസന്തകാലമഴ ഭൂമിയെ നനയ്ക്കുമ്പോലെതന്നെ.”

Let us, therefore, know him; Let us ever strive to know Jehovah, His coming forth is sure as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter rain which watereth the earth.”

4 “എഫ്രയീമേ, നിന്നോടു ഞാൻ എന്തു ചെയ്യണം? യെഹൂദയേ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് എന്താണു ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്? നിന്റെ സ്നേഹം പ്രഭാതമഞ്ഞുപോലെയും അപ്രത്യക്ഷമാകുന്ന പ്രഭാതത്തിലെ മഞ്ഞുതുള്ളിപോലെയും ആകുന്നു.

O Ephraim, what shall I do to thee? O Judah, what shall I do to thee? For your goodness is like the morning cloud, And like the early dew, which vanisheth away.

5 അതുകൊണ്ട്, എന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാരെക്കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വെട്ടി, എന്റെ വായുടെ വചനത്താൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വധിച്ചു. എന്റെ ന്യായവിധികൾ മിന്നൽപോലെ നിന്റെമേൽ പാഞ്ഞു.

Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets, I have slain them by the words of my mouth, And my judgments have gone forth like the light.

6 യാഗമല്ല, കരുണയാണ് ഞാൻ അഭിലഷിക്കുന്നത്; ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളെക്കാൾ, ദൈവപരിജ്ഞാനത്തിൽ ഞാൻ പ്രസാദിക്കുന്നു.

For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God rather than burnt-offerings.

7 ആദാമിനെപ്പോലെ അവർ ഉടമ്പടി ലംഘിച്ചു; അവർ എന്നോട് അവിശ്വസ്തരായിരുന്നു.

But they, after the manner of men, have transgressed the covenant; Even therein have they dealt unfaithfully with me.

8 ഗിലെയാദ് ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ പട്ടണം; അവരുടെ കാലടികൾ രക്തത്താൽ മലിനമായിരിക്കുന്നു.

Gilead is a city of them that do iniquity; She is full of footsteps of blood.

9 ഒരു മനുഷ്യനുവേണ്ടി കൊള്ളക്കാർ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടം കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ ശേഖേമിലേക്കുള്ള വഴിയിൽ കൊല ചെയ്യുന്നു, ലജ്ജാകരമായ കുറ്റകൃത്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നു.

As troops of robbers lying in wait for a man, so is the company of priests; They murder in the way to Shechem; Yea, they commit heinous wickedness.

10 ഇസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിൽ ഞാൻ ഭയങ്കരത്വം കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു: അവിടെ എഫ്രയീം വ്യഭിചാരത്തിന് ഏൽപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടു; ഇസ്രായേൽ മലിനപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

I have seen a horrible thing in the house of Israel; There Ephraim committeth fornication, Israel is polluted.

11 “യെഹൂദയേ, ഞാൻ നിനക്കും ഒരു കൊയ്ത്തു വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. “ഞാൻ എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥിതി മാറ്റുമ്പോൾ,

For thee also, O Judah, a harvest is appointed.
