ഗലാത്യർ 1
1 പൗലോസ് അപ്പൊസ്തലനും കൂടെയുള്ള എല്ലാ സഹോദരന്മാരും, ഗലാത്യയിലുള്ള സഭകൾക്ക് എഴുതുന്നത്: എന്റെ അപ്പൊസ്തലത്വം മനുഷ്യരിൽനിന്നോ മനുഷ്യനാലോ അല്ല, യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനാലും മരിച്ചവരിൽനിന്ന് യേശുവിനെ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേൽപ്പിച്ച പിതാവായ ദൈവത്താലും ആകുന്നു.
Paul, an Apostle, not from men, neither by man; but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father who raised him from the dead;
and all the brethren who are with me, to the congregations of Galatia:
3 നമ്മുടെ പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നും കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിൽനിന്നും നിങ്ങൾക്കു കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകുമാറാകട്ടെ.
Favor to you, and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
4 ഈ ദുഷ്ടലോകത്തിൽനിന്ന് നമ്മെ വിടുവിക്കേണ്ടതിനു യേശുക്രിസ്തു നമ്മുടെ പാപങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി ദൈവേഷ്ടപ്രകാരം തന്നെത്താൻ ഏൽപ്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു. (aiōn g165)
who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, (aiōn g165)
to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
6 ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ കൃപയാൽ നിങ്ങളെ വിളിച്ച ദൈവത്തെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് ഇത്രവേഗം മറ്റൊരു സുവിശേഷത്തിലേക്കു നിങ്ങൾ വ്യതിചലിക്കുന്നതിൽ ഞാൻ അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുന്നു—
I wonder that you are so soon removed from him who called you into the favor of Christ, to another gospel;
7 അത് സുവിശേഷമേ അല്ല! ചിലർ നിങ്ങളെ ആശയക്കുഴപ്പത്തിലാക്കുകയും ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സുവിശേഷത്തെ വികലമാക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നേയുള്ളു.
which is not another: but there are some who trouble you, and wish to pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോടു പ്രസംഗിച്ച സുവിശേഷത്തിൽനിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തമായ മറ്റൊരു സുവിശേഷം, ഞങ്ങൾതന്നെയോ സ്വർഗത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ള ഒരു ദൂതനോ, പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നെങ്കിൽ അയാൾ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ.
But if even we, or an angel from heaven, declare a gospel to you, different from what we have declared to you, let him be accursed.
9 ഞങ്ങൾ മുമ്പേ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചതുതന്നെ ഇപ്പോഴും ആവർത്തിക്കുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ സ്വീകരിച്ച സുവിശേഷത്തിനു വ്യത്യസ്തമായ ഒരു സുവിശേഷം ആരെങ്കിലും പ്രസംഗിച്ചാൽ അയാൾ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ.
As we said before, so now I say again, if any one declare a gospel to you, different from what you have received, let him be accursed.
10 ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ മനുഷ്യരുടെ അംഗീകാരമാണോ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അംഗീകാരമാണോ നേടാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്? അതോ ഞാൻ പൊതുജനത്തെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കാനാണോ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്? ഇപ്പോഴും ഞാൻ മനുഷ്യരെയാണ് പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നതെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദാസനല്ല.
For do I now conciliate men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11 സഹോദരങ്ങളേ, ഞാൻ പ്രസംഗിച്ച സുവിശേഷം മാനുഷികമല്ല എന്നു നിങ്ങളെ ഞാൻ അറിയിക്കുന്നു.
Now I certify you, brethren, concerning the gospel which was declared by me, that it is not according to men.
12 ഞാൻ അത് ഏതെങ്കിലും മനുഷ്യനിൽനിന്ന് സ്വീകരിച്ചതോ പഠിച്ചതോ അല്ല; യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിൽനിന്ന് നേരിട്ടുള്ള വെളിപ്പാടിനാൽ എനിക്കു ലഭിച്ചതാണ്.
For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, except by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
13 യെഹൂദാമതത്തിലെ എന്റെ മുൻകാല ജീവിതശൈലി നിങ്ങൾക്കറിയാമല്ലോ. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സഭയെ ഞാൻ തീവ്രമായി ഉപദ്രവിക്കുകയും നശിപ്പിക്കുകയുംചെയ്തിരുന്നു.
You have certainly heard of my behavior formerly in Judaism; that I exceedingly persecuted the congregation of God, and laid it waste;
14 എന്റെ പിതൃപാരമ്പര്യങ്ങളിൽ ശുഷ്കാന്തി മൂത്ത്, സമകാലീനരായ എന്റെ ജനങ്ങളെക്കാൾ യെഹൂദാമതത്തിൽ ഞാൻ വളരെ മുന്നേറിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
and made progress in Judaism above many of the same age with myself, in my own nation, being more exceedingly jealous of the traditions of my fathers.
15 എന്നാൽ, യെഹൂദേതരരോട് സുവിശേഷം പ്രസംഗിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഞാൻ ജനിക്കുന്നതിനുമുമ്പേതന്നെ എന്നെ നിയമിക്കാനും, അവിടത്തെ കൃപയാൽ എന്നെ അതിനായി നിയോഗിക്കാനും ദൈവത്തിനു പ്രസാദം തോന്നി. അതിനായി ദൈവപുത്രൻ എനിക്കു വെളിപ്പെട്ട ഉടൻതന്നെ ഞാൻ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനോടും വിദഗ്ദ്ധാഭിപ്രായം തേടുകയോ;
But when God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his favor, was pleased
to reveal his Son to me, that I might declare the good news concerning him to the Gentiles; immediately I did not consult flesh and blood:
17 എനിക്കുമുമ്പേ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരായവരെ കാണാൻ ജെറുശലേമിലേക്കു പോകുകയോ ചെയ്യാതെ അറേബ്യയിലേക്കാണ് ഞാൻ പോയത്. പിന്നീട് ദമസ്കോസിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരികയും ചെയ്തു.
neither did I go up to Jerusalem, to them who were Apostles before me; but I went away in Arabia, and again returned to Damascus.
18 പത്രോസുമായി പരിചയമാകേണ്ടതിന്, മൂന്നു വർഷത്തിനുശേഷം ഞാൻ ജെറുശലേമിലേക്കു പോകുകയും പതിനഞ്ചു ദിവസം അദ്ദേഹത്തോടുകൂടെ താമസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
Then, after three years, I went up to Jerusalem, to become acquainted with Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
19 കർത്താവിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ യാക്കോബിനെ ഒഴികെ മറ്റ് അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരെ ആരെയും ഞാൻ കണ്ടില്ല.
But I saw no other of the Apostles, except James, the Lord's brother.
20 ഞാൻ എഴുതുന്നതു വ്യാജമല്ല എന്നു ദൈവംമുമ്പാകെ ഞാൻ ഉറപ്പുതരുന്നു.
Now as to the things which I write to you, behold, God is my witness that I do not falsely affirm.
21 അതിനുശേഷം ഞാൻ സിറിയ, കിലിക്യ എന്നീ പ്രവിശ്യകളിലേക്കുപോയി.
After that, I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
22 അപ്പോഴും ഞാൻ യെഹൂദ്യയിലെ ക്രിസ്തീയസഭകൾക്ക് അപരിചിതനായിരുന്നു.
and I was personally unknown to the congregations of Judea which are in Christ.
23 “ഒരിക്കൽ നമ്മെ ഉന്മൂലനംചെയ്യാൻ ശ്രമിച്ച വ്യക്തി, താൻ നശിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ സുവിശേഷം ഇപ്പോൾ പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന് അവർ കേട്ട്,
They had only heard that--he who formerly persecuted us, now announces, as glad tidings, the faith which he formerly destroyed.
24 എന്നെപ്രതി ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്ത്വപ്പെടുത്തി.
And they glorified God on my account.
