യെഹെസ്കേൽ 6
1 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് എനിക്ക് ഇപ്രകാരം ഉണ്ടായി:
And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 “മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഇസ്രായേൽ പർവതങ്ങൾക്ക് അഭിമുഖമായിനിന്ന് അവയ്ക്കെതിരേ പ്രവചിക്കുക:
Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,
3 ഇസ്രായേൽ പർവതങ്ങളേ, യഹോവയായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനം കേൾക്കുക. യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് പർവതങ്ങളോടും മലകളോടും നീരൊഴുക്കുകളോടും താഴ്വരകളോടും ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇതാ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കെതിരേ ഒരു വാൾ അയയ്ക്കാൻ പോകുന്നു. ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങൾ നശിപ്പിക്കും.
And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
4 നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾ നശിപ്പിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ ധൂപപീഠങ്ങൾ തകർക്കും. നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ ജനത്തെ ഞാൻ അരിഞ്ഞുവീഴ്ത്തും.
And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.
5 അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പിൽ ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ശവങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ വീഴിക്കും. നിങ്ങളുടെ അസ്ഥികൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾക്കുമുമ്പിൽ ഞാൻ ചിതറിക്കും.
And I will lay the dead bodies of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones about your altars.
6 നിങ്ങൾ എവിടെപ്പാർത്താലും ആ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ നശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങൾ തകർക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും. അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾ നശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ട് ഉപയോഗശൂന്യമായിത്തീരുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ തകർത്ത് തരിപ്പണമാക്കപ്പെടുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ധൂപപീഠങ്ങൾ ഉടയ്ക്കപ്പെടുകയും നിങ്ങൾ നിർമിച്ചതൊക്കെയും തുടച്ചുനീക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും.
In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
7 നിങ്ങളുടെ ജനം നിങ്ങളുടെ മധ്യേതന്നെ വധിക്കപ്പെടും, അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ, ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്ന് അറിയും.
And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
8 “‘എങ്കിലും ലോകത്തിലെ വിവിധ ദേശങ്ങളിലേക്കും ജനതകളിലേക്കും നിങ്ങൾ ചിതറിപ്പോകുമ്പോൾ, വാളിന്റെ വായ്ത്തലയിൽനിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെട്ട ചിലരെ ഞാൻ അവശേഷിപ്പിക്കും.
Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.
9 അപ്പോൾ അവർ തങ്ങളെ ബന്ധിതരായി കൊണ്ടുപോയിരിക്കുന്ന ദേശങ്ങളിൽവെച്ച് രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടവരായ ജനം എന്നെവിട്ടു പിന്മാറിപ്പോയി വ്യഭിചാരംചെയ്യുന്ന അവരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടും തങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ കണ്ണുകളാൽ മോഹിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടും അവർ എന്നെ എത്രയധികം ദുഃഖിതനാക്കിയെന്നും ഓർക്കും. തങ്ങൾചെയ്ത തിന്മകളോർത്തും തങ്ങളുടെ മ്ലേച്ഛതകൾ ചിന്തിച്ചും അവർ തങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ വെറുക്കും.
And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations where they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their adulterous heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which play the harlot with their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
10 അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്ന് അവർ അറിയും; ഈ അനർഥം അവരുടെമേൽ വരുത്തുമെന്നു ഞാൻ വെറുതേയല്ല അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ളത്.
And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil to them.
11 “‘യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇസ്രായേൽജനത്തിന്റെ സകലദുഷ്ടതയും അറപ്പുളവാക്കുന്ന പ്രവൃത്തികളുംനിമിത്തം നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈകളടിച്ചും കാൽകൾ ചവിട്ടിയും “അയ്യോ, കഷ്ടം!” എന്നു പറയുക. അവർ വാൾകൊണ്ടും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടും വീഴും.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thy hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
12 ദൂരത്തുള്ളവർ മഹാമാരിയാൽ മരിക്കും സമീപത്തുള്ളവൻ വാളാൽ വീഴും; ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവരും രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടവരും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടു മരിക്കും. അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ക്രോധം അവരുടെമേൽ ചൊരിയും.
He that is far off shall die by the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.
13 എല്ലാ ഉയർന്ന കുന്നുകളിലും എല്ലാ പർവതശിഖരങ്ങളിലും എല്ലാ ഇലതൂർന്ന മരത്തിൻകീഴിലും തഴച്ചുവളരുന്ന എല്ലാ കരുവേലകത്തിൻകീഴിലും അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ സകലവിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കും സുഗന്ധധൂപം അർപ്പിച്ചല്ലോ. അവിടെ അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കിടയിൽ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾക്കു ചുറ്റുമായി അവരുടെ ജനം വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു കിടക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്ന് അവർ അറിയും.
Then shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols all around their altars, upon every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they offered sweet savour to all their idols.
14 അവരുടെ എല്ലാ വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും ഞാൻ അവർക്കെതിരായി കൈനീട്ടി ദേശത്തെ ദിബ്ലാ മരുഭൂമിയെക്കാൾ നിർജനവും ശൂന്യവുമാക്കും; അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്ന് അവർ അറിയും.’”
So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
