യെഹെസ്കേൽ 2

1 അതിനുശേഷം അവിടന്ന് എന്നോട്: “മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് എഴുന്നേറ്റു നിന്റെ കാലിൽ നിവർന്നുനിൽക്കുക” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And he said to me O son of humankind stand on feet your so I may speak you.

2 അവിടന്ന് എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ചപ്പോൾ ആത്മാവ് എന്നിൽ വന്ന് എന്നെ എഴുന്നേൽപ്പിച്ചു കാലിൽ നിൽക്കുമാറാക്കി, അവിടന്ന് എന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നതും ഞാൻ കേട്ടു.

And it came in me a spirit just when he spoke to me and it made stand up me on feet my and I heard [one who] spoke to me.

3 അവിടന്ന് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു: “മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, എന്നോടു മത്സരിച്ച മത്സരികളായ ഇസ്രായേൽജനതയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്ക് ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അയയ്ക്കുന്നു; അവരും അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരും ഇന്നുവരെയും എന്നോട് അതിക്രമം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

And he said to me O son of humankind [am] sending I you to [the] people of Israel to nations rebellious which they have rebelled against me they and ancestors their they have transgressed against me until [the] substance of the day this.

4 കഠിനഹൃദയരും ദുശ്ശാഠ്യക്കാരുമായ ആ ജനതയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അയയ്ക്കുന്നു. ‘യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു,’ എന്നു നീ അവരോടു പറയണം.

And the children [are] stern of face and hard of heart I [am] sending you to them and you will say to them thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh.

5 അവർ കേൾക്കുകയോ കേൾക്കാതിരിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യട്ടെ, അവർ മത്സരികളായ ഒരു ജനതയാണല്ലോ. തങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു പ്രവാചകൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്നെങ്കിലും അവർ അറിയും.

And they whether they will listen and or they will refrain for [are] a house of rebellion they and they will know that a prophet he has been in midst of them.

6 നീയോ മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, അവരെയോ അവരുടെ വാക്കുകളോ ഭയപ്പെടരുത്. മുള്ളുകളും മുൾച്ചെടികളും നിനക്കുചുറ്റും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നാലും തേളുകളുടെ മധ്യേ നിനക്കു വസിക്കേണ്ടിവന്നാലും ഭയപ്പെടരുത്. അവർ മത്സരഗൃഹമല്ലോ; അവരുടെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ടു ഭ്രമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യരുത്.

And you O son of humankind may not you be afraid from them and from words their may not you be afraid for nettles and thorns with you and to scorpions you [are] dwelling from words their may not you be afraid and from faces their may not you be dismayed for [are] a house of rebellion they.

7 അവർ കേട്ടാലും ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും എന്റെ വചനങ്ങൾ നീ അവരോടു സംസാരിക്കണം, കാരണം അവർ മത്സരഗൃഹമാണല്ലോ!

And you will speak words my to them whether they will listen and or they will refrain for [are] rebellious they.

8 നീയോ മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു കേട്ടുകൊൾക. മത്സരമുള്ള ആ ജനത്തെപ്പോലെ നീ മത്സരിയായിരിക്കരുത്. ഞാൻ നിനക്കു തരുന്നത് നീ വായ് തുറന്നു ഭക്ഷിക്കുക.”

And you O son of humankind hear [that] which I [am] speaking to you may not you be rebellious like [the] house of rebellion open mouth your and eat [that] which I [am] giving to you.

9 അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നോക്കി; ഒരു കൈ എങ്കലേക്കു നീട്ടിയിരുന്നു; അതിൽ ഒരു പുസ്തകച്ചുരുൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

And I saw and there! a hand [was] stretched out to me and there! [was] in it a scroll of a document.

10 അവിടന്ന് അത് എന്റെമുമ്പിൽ വിടർത്തി. അതിൽ ഇരുപുറവും വിലാപവും സങ്കടവും കഷ്ടതയും എഴുതിയിരുന്നു.

And he spread out it before me and it [was] written face and back and [was] written to it lamentations and moaning and wailing.
