യെഹെസ്കേൽ 11
1 അതിനുശേഷം ആത്മാവ് എന്നെ എടുത്ത് യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ കിഴക്കോട്ടു മുഖമുള്ള കിഴക്കേകവാടത്തിൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. അവിടെ ദൈവാലയത്തിന്റെ പ്രവേശനകവാടത്തിൽ ഇരുപത്തിയഞ്ചു പുരുഷന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവരിൽ ജനത്തിന്റെ നേതാക്കളായ അസ്സൂരിന്റെ മകനായ യയസന്യാവിനെയും ബെനായാവിന്റെ മകനായ പെലത്യാവിനെയും ഞാൻ കണ്ടു.
And lift me up doth a spirit, and it bringeth me in unto the east gate of the house of Jehovah, that is facing the east, and lo, at the opening of the gate twenty and five men, and I see in their midst Jaazaniah son of Azzur, and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, heads of the people.
2 യഹോവ എന്നോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു: “മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഈ പട്ടണത്തിൽ ദുഷ്ടതനിറഞ്ഞ നിർദേശങ്ങൾ നൽകിക്കൊണ്ട് ഗൂഢാലോചന നടത്തുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാരാണ് ഇവർ.
And He saith unto me, 'Son of man, these [are] the men who are devising iniquity, and who are giving evil counsel in this city;
3 ‘നമ്മുടെ വീടുകൾ അടുത്തിടെയല്ലേ പുതുക്കിപ്പണിതത്? ഈ പട്ടണം ഒരു കുട്ടകവും നാം അതിനുള്ളിലെ മാംസവും ആണല്ലോ,’ എന്ന് അവർ പറയുന്നു.
who are saying, It [is] not near — to build houses, it [is] the pot, and we the flesh.
4 അതുകൊണ്ട് അവർക്കെതിരായി പ്രവചിക്കുക; മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, പ്രവചിക്കുക.”
Therefore prophesy concerning them, prophesy, son of man.'
5 അപ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ ആത്മാവ് എന്റെമേൽ വന്നു. അവിടന്ന് എന്നോട് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു: “നീ ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുക: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇസ്രായേലിലെ നേതാക്കന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങൾ ഇങ്ങനെ ചിന്തിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ ചിന്തകൾ ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു.
And fall upon me doth the Spirit of Jehovah, and He saith unto me, 'Say: Thus said Jehovah: Rightly ye have said, O house of Israel, And the steps of your spirit I have known.
6 ഈ പട്ടണത്തിലെ നിരവധി ആളുകളെ നിങ്ങൾ വധിച്ചു; അവരെക്കൊണ്ട് അതിന്റെ തെരുവീഥികൾ നിറച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
Ye multiplied your wounded in this city, And filled its out-places with the wounded.
7 “അതുകൊണ്ട് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഈ പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ നിങ്ങൾ വീഴ്ത്തിയ നിഹതന്മാർ മാംസവും ഈ പട്ടണം കുട്ടകവുമാകുന്നു. ഞാനോ, നിങ്ങളെ അതിൽനിന്ന് പുറത്തുവരുത്തും.
Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Your wounded whom ye placed in its midst, They [are] the flesh, and it [is] the pot, And you he hath brought out from its midst.
8 നിങ്ങൾ വാളിനെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു; അതിനാൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെമേൽ വാൾ അയയ്ക്കുമെന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
A sword ye have feared, And a sword I bring in against you, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
9 ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ നഗരമധ്യത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറത്തുകൊണ്ടുവരും. ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ വിദേശികളുടെ കൈയിൽ ഏൽപ്പിച്ച് നിങ്ങളുടെമേൽ ന്യായവിധി വരുത്തും.
And I have brought you out of its midst, And given you into the hand of strangers, And I have done among you judgments.
10 നിങ്ങൾ വാളാൽ വീഴും; ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ അതിർത്തിയിൽവെച്ച് ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ന്യായംവിധിക്കും. അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.
By the sword ye do fall, On the border of Israel I do judge you, And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah.
11 ഈ പട്ടണം നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരു കുട്ടകം ആയിരിക്കുകയില്ല; നിങ്ങൾ അതിനുള്ളിലെ മാംസവും ആകുകയില്ല. എന്നാൽ ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ അതിർത്തിയിൽവെച്ചു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ന്യായംവിധിക്കും.
It is not to you for a pot, Nor are ye in its midst for flesh, At the border of Israel I do judge you.
12 അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും; കാരണം നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ഉത്തരവുകൾ പാലിക്കുകയോ എന്റെ നിയമങ്ങൾ അനുസരിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യാതെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ചുറ്റുമുള്ള രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളുടെ ആദർശങ്ങൾ അനുവർത്തിക്കുകയാണ് നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തത്.”
And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah, For in My statutes ye have not walked, And My Judgments ye have not done, And according to the judgments of the nations Who are round about you — ye have done!'
13 ഞാൻ പ്രവചിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ ബെനായാവിന്റെ മകനായ പെലത്യാവു മരിച്ചു. അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ കമിഴ്ന്നുവീണ് ഉച്ചത്തിൽ, “അയ്യോ! യഹോവയായ കർത്താവേ, അങ്ങ് ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പിനെ നിശ്ശേഷം നശിപ്പിക്കുമോ” എന്നു നിലവിളിച്ചു.
And it cometh to pass, at my prophesying, that Pelatiah son of Benaiah is dying, and I fall on my face, and cry — a loud voice — and say, 'Ah, Lord Jehovah, an end Thou art making of the remnant of Israel.'
14 അപ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,
15 “മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ജെറുശലേംനിവാസികൾ നിന്റെ സഹപ്രവാസികളെയും ഇസ്രായേൽജനം മുഴുവനെയുംകുറിച്ച് ഇങ്ങനെ പറയുന്നു: ‘അവർ യഹോവയിൽനിന്നു ദൂരെ പോയിരിക്കുന്നു, ഈ ദേശം നമുക്ക് ഒരവകാശമായി നൽകപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.’
'Son of man, thy brethren, thy brethren, men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel — all of it, [are] they to whom inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Keep far off from Jehovah;
16 “അതിനാൽ നീ പറയേണ്ടത്: ‘യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ അവരെ ദൂരത്ത് ജനതകളുടെ ഇടയിലേക്കു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞുവെങ്കിലും രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ മധ്യേ അവരെ ചിതറിച്ചെങ്കിലും, അവർ പോയിട്ടുള്ള ദേശങ്ങളിൽ ഞാൻ അൽപ്പനേരത്തേക്ക് അവർക്കൊരു വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരമായിരുന്നു.’
it [is] ours, the land hath been given for an inheritance; therefore say: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because I put them afar off among nations, And because I scattered them through lands, I also am to them for a little sanctuary, In lands whither they have gone in.
17 “അതിനാൽ നീ പറയുക: ‘യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ജനതകളുടെ മധ്യേനിന്നു ശേഖരിക്കുകയും നിങ്ങൾ ചിതറിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്ന രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ കൂട്ടിച്ചേർക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. ഇസ്രായേൽദേശം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തിരികെത്തരും.’
Therefore say: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: And I have assembled you from the peoples, And I have gathered you from the lands, Into which ye have been scattered, And I have given to you the ground of Israel.
18 “അവർ അവിടേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരുമ്പോൾ അവരുടെ എല്ലാ മ്ലേച്ഛരൂപങ്ങളും നിന്ദ്യമായ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളും അവർ അതിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും.
And they have gone in thither. And turned aside all its detestable things, And all its abominations — out of it.
19 അവർ എന്റെ ഉത്തരവുകൾ പാലിച്ച്, എന്റെ നിയമങ്ങൾ അനുസരിച്ചു ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഞാൻ അവർക്ക് ഏകാഗ്രമായ ഒരു ഹൃദയം നൽകും. ഞാൻ പുതിയൊരാത്മാവിനെ അവരുടെ ഉള്ളിലാക്കും; കല്ലായ ഹൃദയം അവരിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞ് മാംസളമായൊരു ഹൃദയം ഞാൻ അവർക്കു നൽകും. അങ്ങനെ അവർ എന്റെ ജനമായിത്തീരുകയും ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ദൈവമായിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും
And I have given to them one heart, And a new spirit I do give in your midst, And I have turned the heart of stone out of their flesh, And I have given to them a heart of flesh.
So that in My statutes they walk, And My judgments they keep, and have done them, And they have been to me for a people, And I am to them for God.
21 എന്നാൽ തങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം എല്ലാ മ്ലേച്ഛരൂപങ്ങളിലേക്കും നിന്ദ്യമായ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളിലേക്കും അർപ്പിക്കുന്നവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ അവരുടെ തലമേൽതന്നെ ഞാൻ വരുത്തും എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.”
As to those whose heart is going unto the heart Of their detestable and their abominable things, Their way on their head I have put, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.'
22 പിന്നീട് കെരൂബുകൾ ചിറകുകൾ വിടർത്തി; ചക്രങ്ങളും അവയ്ക്കരികിൽത്തന്നെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഇസ്രായേലിൻദൈവത്തിന്റെ മഹത്ത്വം അവയ്ക്കുമീതേ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
And the cherubs lift up their wings, and the wheels [are] over-against them, and the honour of the God of Israel [is] over them above.
23 യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്ത്വം പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ മധ്യേനിന്ന് ഉയർന്ന്, നഗരത്തിനു കിഴക്കുള്ള പർവതത്തിന്മേൽ നിന്നു.
And the honour of Jehovah goeth up from off the midst of the city, and standeth on the mountain, that [is] on the east of the city.
24 ആത്മാവ് ഒരു ദർശനത്തിൽ എന്നെ ഉയർത്തി ദൈവാത്മാവിനാൽത്തന്നെ ബാബേൽദേശത്തു പ്രവാസികളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. പിന്നീട് ഞാൻ കണ്ട ദർശനം എന്റെ കാഴ്ചയ്ക്കു മറഞ്ഞു;
And a spirit hath lifted me up, and bringeth me in to Chaldea, unto the Removed, in a vision, by the Spirit of God, and go up from off me doth the vision that I have seen;
25 അങ്ങനെ യഹോവ എനിക്കു കാണിച്ചുതന്ന സകലകാര്യങ്ങളും ഞാൻ പ്രവാസികളോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
and I speak unto the Removed all the matters of Jehovah that He hath shewed me.
