പുറപ്പാട് 6

1 അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ മോശയോട്, “ഞാൻ ഫറവോനോട് എന്തു ചെയ്യുമെന്നു നീ കാണും. എന്റെ ശക്തിയുള്ള ഭുജംനിമിത്തം അവൻ അവരെ വിട്ടയയ്ക്കും; എന്റെ ബലമുള്ള കരം കണ്ടിട്ട് അവൻ അവരെ ദേശത്തുനിന്ന് ആട്ടിയോടിക്കും” എന്ന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh, for by a strong hand he shall let them go, and by a strong hand he shall divorce them out of his land.”

2 ദൈവം മോശയോടു വീണ്ടും പറഞ്ഞു: “ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

God spoke to Moses [Drawn out], and said to him, “I am Adonai;

3 ഞാൻ അബ്രാഹാമിനും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനും യാക്കോബിനും സർവശക്തനായ ദൈവമായി പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. എന്നാൽ യഹോവ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അവർക്ക് എന്നെത്തന്നെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടില്ല.

and I appeared to Abraham [Father of a multitude], to Isaac [Laughter], and to Jacob [Supplanter], as El Shaddai [God Almighty]; but by my name Adonai I was not known to them.

4 അവർ പ്രവാസികളായി താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന കനാൻദേശം അവർക്കു കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു ഞാൻ അവരോട് ഉടമ്പടിചെയ്തു.

I have also established my covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties· with them, to give them the land of Canaan [Humbled], the land of their travels, in which they lived as aliens.

5 ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർ അടിമകളാക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ നിലവിളി കേൾക്കുകയും ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഉടമ്പടി ഓർക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

Moreover I have sh'ma ·heard obeyed· the groaning of the children of Israel [God prevails], whom the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] keep in bondage, and I have remembered my covenant.

6 “ആകയാൽ, ഇസ്രായേല്യരോട് ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുക: ‘ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാരുടെ നുകത്തിൻകീഴിൽനിന്ന് വിടുവിക്കും; അവരുടെ അടിമത്തത്തിൽനിന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ സ്വതന്ത്രരാക്കും; നീട്ടിയ ഭുജത്താലും മഹാശിക്ഷാവിധികളാലും ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഉദ്ധരിക്കും.

Therefore tell the children of Israel [God prevails], ‘I am Adonai, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery], and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments:

7 ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ സ്വന്തജനമായി സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവം ആയിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാരുടെ നുകത്തിൻകീഴിൽനിന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ വിടുവിച്ച നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഞാൻതന്നെ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അപ്പോൾ മനസ്സിലാക്കും.

and I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am Adonai your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery].

8 അബ്രാഹാമിനും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനും യാക്കോബിനും കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു ഞാൻ കൈ ഉയർത്തി ശപഥംചെയ്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന് അതു നിങ്ങൾക്ക് അവകാശമായിത്തരും. ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.’”

I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham [Father of a multitude], to Isaac [Laughter], and to Jacob [Supplanter]; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am Adonai.’”

9 മോശ ഇത് ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറഞ്ഞു: എന്നാൽ തങ്ങളെ തളർത്തുന്നരീതിയിലുള്ള ക്രൂരമായ അടിമത്തം നിമിത്തം അവർ മോശയുടെ വാക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചില്ല.

Moses [Drawn out] spoke so to the children of Israel [God prevails], but they didn’t sh'ma ·hear obey· unto Moses [Drawn out] for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.

10 ഇതിനുശേഷം യഹോവ മോശയോട്,

Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,

11 “നീ ചെന്ന് ഈജിപ്റ്റിലെ രാജാവായ ഫറവോനോട്, ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ അവന്റെ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു വിട്ടയയ്ക്കണമെന്നു പറയുക” എന്നു കൽപ്പിച്ചു.

“Go in, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt [Abode of slavery], that he let the children of Israel [God prevails] go out of his land.”

12 എന്നാൽ മോശ യഹോവയോട്, “ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കൾപോലും എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുന്നില്ല, പിന്നെ ഫറവോൻ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുന്നതെങ്ങനെ? ഞാൻ വാക്ചാതുര്യമുള്ളവനല്ലല്ലോ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Moses [Drawn out] spoke before Adonai, saying, “Behold, the children of Israel [God prevails] haven’t sh'ma ·heard obeyed· unto me. How then shall Pharaoh listen to me, who am of uncircumcised lips?”

13 എന്നാൽ യഹോവ മോശയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു. ഇസ്രായേൽജനത്തെ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽനിന്ന് വിടുവിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കും ഈജിപ്റ്റുരാജാവായ ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കും അവിടന്ന് ഞങ്ങളെ നിയോഗിച്ചയച്ചു.

Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out] and to Aaron [Light-bringer], and gave them an enjoinment to the children of Israel [God prevails], and to Pharaoh king of Egypt [Abode of slavery], to bring the children of Israel [God prevails] out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery].

14 അവരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങളിലെ തലവന്മാർ ഇവരായിരുന്നു: ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനായ രൂബേന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഹാനോക്ക്, ഫല്ലൂ, ഹെസ്രോൻ, കർമി; ഇവയായിരുന്നു രൂബേന്റെ കുലങ്ങൾ.

These are the heads of their fathers’ houses. The sons of Reuben [See, a son!] the firstborn of Israel [God prevails]: Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben [See, a son!].

15 ശിമെയോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യെമൂവേൽ, യാമിൻ, ഓഹദ്, യാഖീൻ, സോഹർ, ഒരു കനാന്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ മകനായ ശാവൂൽ; ഇവയായിരുന്നു ശിമെയോന്റെ കുലങ്ങൾ.

The sons of Simeon [Hearing]: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul [Asked for] the son of a Canaanite [Descendant of Humbled] woman; these are the families of Simeon [Hearing].

16 തങ്ങളുടെ വംശപാരമ്പര്യപ്രകാരം ലേവിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഗെർശോൻ, കെഹാത്ത്, മെരാരി. (ലേവി 137 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു.)

These are the names of the sons of Levi [United with] according to their generations: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari; and the years of the life of Levi [United with] were one hundred thirty-seven years.

17 കുലങ്ങളുടെ ക്രമമനുസരിച്ച് ഗെർശോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ ലിബ്നിയും ശിമെയിയും ആയിരുന്നു.

The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families.

18 കെഹാത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അമ്രാം, യിസ്ഹാർ, ഹെബ്രോൻ, ഉസ്സീയേൽ എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു. (കെഹാത്ത് 133 വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു.)

The sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel; and the years of the life of Kohath were one hundred thirty-three years.

19 മെരാരിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: മഹ്ലി, മൂശി എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു. ഇവരാണ് തങ്ങളുടെ പ്രമാണരേഖകളിൻപ്രകാരം ലേവിയുടെ കുലങ്ങൾ.

The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites [Descendants of United with] according to their generations.

20 അമ്രാം തന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ സഹോദരിയായ യോഖേബേദിനെ വിവാഹംകഴിച്ചു; അവൾ അവന് അഹരോനെയും മോശയെയും പ്രസവിച്ചു. അമ്രാം നൂറ്റിമുപ്പത്തിയേഴു വർഷം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു.

Amram took Jochebed his father’s sister to himself as wife; and she bore him Aaron [Light-bringer] and Moses [Drawn out]: and the years of the life of Amram were one hundred and thirty-seven years.

21 യിസ്ഹാരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: കോരഹ്, നേഫെഗ്, സിക്രി എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു.

The sons of Izhar: Korach [Bald one, Frost], and Nepheg, and Zichri.

22 ഉസ്സീയേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: മീശായേൽ, എത്സാഫാൻ, സിത്രി.

The sons of Uzziel: Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.

23 അഹരോൻ അമ്മീനാദാബിന്റെ മകളും നഹശോന്റെ പെങ്ങളുമായ എലീശേബയെ വിവാഹംകഴിച്ചു; അവൾ അവന് നാദാബ്, അബീഹൂ, എലെയാസാർ, ഈഥാമാർ എന്നിവരെ പ്രസവിച്ചു.

Aaron [Light-bringer] took Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, as his wife; and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar [Help of God] and Ithamar.

24 കോരഹിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അസ്സീർ, എൽക്കാനാ, അബീയാസാഫ് എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു. കോരഹിന്റെ കുലങ്ങൾ ഇവതന്നെ.

The sons of Korach [Bald one, Frost]: Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.

25 അഹരോന്റെ മകനായ എലെയാസാർ ഫൂതിയേലിന്റെ പെൺമക്കളിൽ ഒരുവളെ വിവാഹംകഴിച്ചു; അവൾ അവന് ഫീനെഹാസിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചു. ഇവരായിരുന്നു ലേവ്യകുടുംബങ്ങളുടെ കുലംകുലമായുള്ള തലവന്മാർ.

Eleazar [Help of God] Aaron [Light-bringer]’s son took one of the daughters of Putiel as his wife; and she bore him Pinchas [Bronze skin]. These are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites [Descendants of United with] according to their families.

26 “ഇസ്രായേല്യരെ ഗണംഗണമായി ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽനിന്ന് വിടുവിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോരുക” എന്ന് യഹോവ കൽപ്പിച്ചത് ഇതേ അഹരോനോടും മോശയോടും ആയിരുന്നു.

These are that Aaron [Light-bringer] and Moses [Drawn out], to whom Adonai said, “Bring out the children of Israel [God prevails] from the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery] according to their armies.”

27 ഇസ്രായേല്യരെ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽനിന്ന് കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു വരുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി ഈജിപ്റ്റിലെ രാജാവായ ഫറവോനോടു സംസാരിച്ചവരും ഇവരായിരുന്നു—ഈ മോശയും അഹരോനും.

These are those who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt [Abode of slavery], to bring out the children of Israel [God prevails] from Egypt [Abode of slavery]. These are that Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer].

28 യഹോവ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽവെച്ചു മോശയോടു സംസാരിച്ചപ്പോൾ അവിടന്ന്,

On the day when Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out] in the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery],

29 “ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കൽപ്പിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം ഈജിപ്റ്റിലെ രാജാവായ ഫറവോനോടു പറയുക” എന്നു കൽപ്പിച്ചു.

Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying, “I am Adonai. Speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt [Abode of slavery] all that I speak to you.”

30 എന്നാൽ മോശ യഹോവയോട്, “വാക്ചാതുര്യമില്ലാത്തവനാണു ഞാൻ; ഫറവോൻ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുന്നതെങ്ങനെ?” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

Moses [Drawn out] said before Adonai, “Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh sh'ma ·hear obey· unto me?”
