പുറപ്പാട് 14
1 ഇതിനുശേഷം യഹോവ മോശയോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തത്,
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
2 “നിങ്ങൾ തിരിഞ്ഞു മിഗ്ദോലിനും കടലിനും ഇടയ്ക്കുള്ള പീ-ഹഹീരോത്തിൽ പാളയമടിക്കണമെന്ന് ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയുക. അവർ ബാൽ-സെഫോനുനേരേ എതിർവശത്തു കടലിനരികെ താവളമടിക്കണം.
Speak to [the] people of Israel so they may turn back and they may encamp before Pi-hahiroth between Migdol and between the sea before Baal-Zephon opposite it you will encamp at the sea.
3 ‘ഇസ്രായേല്യർ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ കുടുങ്ങി, വഴിയറിയാതെ ദേശത്തെല്ലാം അലഞ്ഞുതിരിയുകയാണ്’ എന്നു ഫറവോൻ ചിന്തിക്കും.
And he will say Pharaoh of [the] people of Israel [are] wandering in confusion they in the land it has shut on them the wilderness.
4 ഞാൻ ഫറവോന്റെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനമാക്കുകയും അവൻ അവരെ പിൻതുടരുകയും ചെയ്യും. എന്നാൽ ഫറവോനിലൂടെയും അവന്റെ സൈന്യത്തിലൂടെയും ഞാൻ എന്നെത്തന്നെ മഹത്ത്വപ്പെടുത്തും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്ന് ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർ അറിയും.” ആകയാൽ ഇസ്രായേല്യർ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു.
And I will make strong [the] heart of Pharaoh and he will pursue after them and I will gain honor by Pharaoh and by all army his and they will know Egypt that I [am] Yahweh and they did so.
5 ജനം ഓടിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് ഈജിപ്റ്റിലെ രാജാവ് കേട്ടപ്പോൾ ഫറവോനും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരും അവരോടുള്ള മനോഭാവം മാറ്റി, “നാം ഈ ചെയ്തതെന്ത്? നമ്മുടെ അടിമവേലയിൽനിന്ന് ഇസ്രായേല്യരെ വിട്ടയച്ചല്ലോ” എന്ന് അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.
And it was told to [the] king of Egypt that it had fled the people and it was changed [the] heart of Pharaoh and servants his to the people and they said what? this have we done that we have let go Israel from serving us.
6 അങ്ങനെ ഫറവോൻ തന്റെ രഥം സജ്ജമാക്കി, സൈന്യത്തെയും തന്നോടൊപ്പം അണിനിരത്തി.
And he harnessed chariot his and people his he took with him.
7 ഈജിപ്റ്റിലെ സകലരഥങ്ങളോടുംകൂടെ, ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച അറുനൂറു രഥങ്ങളെയും അവയിൽ എല്ലാറ്റിലും തേരാളികളെയും അദ്ദേഹം ഒരുക്കി.
And he took six hundred chariot[s] chosen and all [the] chariotry of Egypt and officers [were] over all of it.
8 യഹോവ ഈജിപ്റ്റുരാജാവായ ഫറവോന്റെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനമാക്കിയതുകൊണ്ട്, യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി പുറപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന ഇസ്രായേൽജനത്തെ അയാൾ പിൻതുടർന്നു.
And he made strong Yahweh [the] heart of Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt and he pursued after [the] people of Israel and [the] people of Israel [were] going out with a hand raised.
9 ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർ—ഫറവോന്റെ സകലകുതിരകളും രഥങ്ങളും കുതിരപ്പടയും സൈന്യവും—ഇസ്രായേല്യരെ പിൻതുടരുകയും ബാൽ-സെഫോന് എതിരേ, പീ-ഹഹീരോത്തിനടുത്ത്, കടൽക്കരയിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചിരുന്ന അവരെ മറികടക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
And they pursued Egypt after them and they overtook them encamped at the sea every horse of [the] chariotry of Pharaoh and horsemen his and army his at Pi-hahiroth before Baal-Zephon.
10 ഫറവോൻ സമീപിച്ചപ്പോൾ ഇസ്രായേല്യർ തലയുയർത്തിനോക്കി. ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർ അവർക്കു പിന്നാലെ വരുന്നതു കണ്ടു. ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ഭയപ്പെട്ട് യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു.
And Pharaoh he drew near and they lifted up [the] people of Israel eyes their and there! Egypt - [was] marching after them and they were afraid exceedingly and they cried out [the] people of Israel to Yahweh.
11 അവർ മോശയോട്, “ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽ ശവക്കുഴികൾ ഇല്ലാഞ്ഞിട്ടോ നീ ഞങ്ങളെ മരിക്കാൻ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നത്? ഞങ്ങളെ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചിട്ട്, നീ ഞങ്ങളോട് ഈ ചെയ്തതെന്ത്?
And they said to Moses ¿ because not there not [were] graves in Egypt you brought us to die in the wilderness what? this have you done to us by bringing out us from Egypt.
12 ‘ഞങ്ങളെ വെറുതേവിട്ടേക്കുക, ഞങ്ങൾ ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാരെ സേവിച്ചുകൊള്ളാം’ എന്ന് ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽവെച്ചു നിന്നോടു ഞങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞില്ലേ? മരുഭൂമിയിൽ മരിക്കുന്നതിനെക്കാൾ ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർക്കുവേണ്ടി പണിയെടുക്കുന്നതായിരുന്നു ഞങ്ങൾക്കു നല്ലത്” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
¿ Not [is] this the word which we spoke to you in Egypt saying cease from us so let us serve Egypt for [is] better for us serving Egypt than to die us in the wilderness.
13 അതിന് മോശ ജനത്തോട് ഇങ്ങനെ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു, “ഭയപ്പെടരുത്, സ്ഥിരതയോടെ നിൽക്കുക. യഹോവ ഇന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു നൽകുന്ന വിടുതൽ കണ്ടുകൊള്ളുക. നിങ്ങൾ ഇന്നു കാണുന്ന ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാരെ ഇനിയൊരിക്കലും കാണുകയില്ല.
And he said Moses to the people may not you be afraid stand firm and see [the] deliverance of Yahweh which he will bring about for you this day for which you have seen Egypt this day not you will repeat to see them again until perpetuity.
14 യഹോവ നിങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി യുദ്ധംചെയ്യും; നിങ്ങൾ ശാന്തരായിരിക്കുക.”
Yahweh he will fight for you and you you will keep quiet!
15 ഇതിനെത്തുടർന്ന് യഹോവ മോശയോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തത്, “നീ എന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നതെന്ത്? മുമ്പോട്ടുപോകാൻ ജനങ്ങളോടു പറയുക.
And he said Yahweh to Moses why? are you crying out to me speak to [the] people of Israel so they may set out.
16 ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തുകൂടി പോകാൻ സാധിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്റെ വടി ഉയർത്തി കടലിന്മേൽ കൈനീട്ടി വെള്ളത്തെ വിഭജിക്കുക.
And you raise staff your and stretch out hand your over the sea and divide it so they may go [the] people of Israel in [the] middle of the sea on the dry ground.
17 ഞാൻ ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാരുടെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനമാക്കുകയും അവർ അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ ചെല്ലുകയും ചെയ്യും. ഫറവോനിലൂടെയും അവന്റെ സൈന്യത്തിലൂടെയും രഥങ്ങളിലൂടെയും കുതിരപ്പടയിലൂടെയും ഞാൻ മഹത്ത്വം നേടുമ്പോൾ, ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്ന് ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർ അറിയും.”
And I here I [am] about to make strong [the] heart of Egypt so they may go after them and I will gain honor by Pharaoh and by all army his by chariot[s] his and by horsemen his.
And they will know Egypt that I [am] Yahweh when gain honor I by Pharaoh by chariot[s] his and by horsemen his.
19 ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ സൈന്യത്തിനുമുമ്പിൽ സഞ്ചരിച്ചിരുന്ന ദൈവദൂതൻ അപ്പോൾ പിൻവാങ്ങി അവരുടെ പിന്നിൽ നടന്നു. മേഘസ്തംഭവും അവരുടെമുമ്പിൽനിന്ന് പിന്നിലേക്കു നീങ്ങി.
And he set out [the] angel of God who had been going before [the] camp of Israel and he went behind them and it set out [the] pillar of cloud from before them and it stood behind them.
20 അത് ഈജിപ്റ്റിന്റെ സൈന്യത്തിനും ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ സൈന്യത്തിനും ഇടയിൽവന്നു നിലകൊണ്ടു. രാത്രിമുഴുവൻ ഇസ്രായേല്യരുടെ സൈന്യവും ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാരുടെ സൈന്യവുംതമ്മിൽ അടുക്കാത്തവണ്ണം അത് അവരുടെ മധ്യേനിന്നു. ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർക്ക് അതു മേഘവും അന്ധകാരവും ഇസ്രായേല്യർക്കു പ്രകാശവും ആയിരുന്നു.
And it went between - [the] camp of Egypt and between [the] camp of Israel and it was the cloud and the darkness and it lit up the night and not it drew near this to this all the night.
21 പിന്നെ മോശ കടലിന്മേൽ കൈനീട്ടി; യഹോവ അന്നു രാത്രിമുഴുവൻ ശക്തമായ ഒരു കിഴക്കൻകാറ്റ് അടിപ്പിച്ചു. കടൽ പിൻവാങ്ങി ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലം ആയിത്തീർന്നു; വെള്ളം വേർപിരിഞ്ഞു.
And he stretched out Moses hand his over the sea and he drove Yahweh - the sea by a wind an east wind strong all the night and he made the sea into dry ground and they were divided the waters.
22 ഇസ്രായേല്യർ സമുദ്രത്തിൽ ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തുകൂടി നടന്നു; വെള്ളം അവരുടെ വലത്തും ഇടത്തും മതിലായി നിന്നു.
And they went [the] people of Israel in [the] middle of the sea on the dry ground and the water for them [was] a wall from right their and from left their.
23 ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർ അവരെ പിൻതുടർന്നു; ഫറവോന്റെ കുതിരകളും രഥങ്ങളും കുതിരപ്പടയുമെല്ലാം അവരെ പിൻതുടർന്നു കടലിന്റെ നടുവിലേക്കു ചെന്നു.
And they pursued Egypt and they went after them every horse of Pharaoh chariotry his and horsemen his into [the] middle of the sea.
24 പ്രഭാതയാമത്തിൽ യഹോവ അഗ്നിമേഘസ്തംഭത്തിൽനിന്ന് താഴേക്കു നോക്കി ഈജിപ്റ്റുസൈന്യത്തിനു വിഭ്രമം വരുത്തി.
And it was in [the] watch of the morning and he looked down Yahweh to [the] camp of Egypt in a pillar of fire and cloud and he confused [the] camp of Egypt.
25 അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ രഥചക്രങ്ങൾ ഇടറിപ്പോകാൻ ഇടയാക്കിയതുകൊണ്ട് അവയ്ക്കു മുന്നോട്ടുപോകാൻ പ്രയാസമായി. “നമുക്ക് ഇസ്രായേല്യരെ വിട്ട് ഓടിപ്പോകാം, യഹോവ അവർക്കുവേണ്ടി ഈജിപ്റ്റിനെതിരേ യുദ്ധംചെയ്യുന്നു,” എന്ന് അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.
And he turned aside [the] wheel[s] of chariots its and he caused to drive it with difficulty and it said Egypt let me flee from before Israel for Yahweh [is] fighting for them (against Egypt. *LB(ha)*)
26 അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ മോശയോട്, “വെള്ളം തിരിച്ചൊഴുകി ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാരെയും അവരുടെ തേരുകളും കുതിരപ്പടയും മൂടിക്കളയേണ്ടതിനു നീ കടലിന്മേൽ കൈനീട്ടുക” എന്നു കൽപ്പിച്ചു.
And he said Yahweh to Moses stretch out hand your over the sea so they may return the waters over Egypt over chariot[s] its and over horsemen its.
27 മോശ കടലിനുമീതേ കൈനീട്ടി. നേരം പുലർന്നപ്പോൾ സമുദ്രം പൂർവസ്ഥിതിയിലായി. ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർ അതിനെതിരേ ഓടി. യഹോവ അവരെ കടലിലേക്കു തള്ളിയിട്ടു.
And he stretched out Moses hand his over the sea and it returned the sea to [the] turning of morning to normal [state] its and Egypt [were] fleeing to meet it and he shook off Yahweh Egypt in [the] middle of the sea.
28 വെള്ളം തിരിച്ചൊഴുകി രഥങ്ങളെയും കുതിരപ്പടയെയും, ഇസ്രായേല്യരെ പിൻതുടർന്നു സമുദ്രത്തിലെത്തിയ ഫറവോന്റെ മുഴുവൻ സൈന്യത്തെയും മുക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു. അവരിൽ ഒരുവനും ജീവനോടെ ശേഷിച്ചില്ല.
And they returned the waters and they covered the chariot[s] and the horsemen to all [the] army of Pharaoh which had gone after them in the sea not it remained among them up to one.
29 എന്നാൽ ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ സമുദ്രത്തിൽ, ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തുകൂടി കടന്നുപോയി. അവരുടെ വലത്തും ഇടത്തും വെള്ളം മതിലായി നിലകൊണ്ടു.
And [the] people of Israel they walked on the dry ground in [the] middle of the sea and the water for them [was] a wall from right their (and from left their *LB(ah)*)
30 ആ ദിവസം യഹോവ ഇസ്രായേലിനെ ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാരുടെ കൈകളിൽനിന്ന് രക്ഷിച്ചു; ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർ കടൽക്കരയിൽ ചത്തടിഞ്ഞു കിടക്കുന്നത് ഇസ്രായേല്യർ കണ്ടു.
and he delivered Yahweh on the day that Israel from [the] hand of Egypt and it saw Israel Egypt dead on [the] shore of the sea.
31 മഹാശക്തിയുള്ള യഹോവയുടെ കരം ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർക്കെതിരായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത് ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, ജനം യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെട്ട് യഹോവയിലും അവിടത്തെ ദാസനായ മോശയിലും വിശ്വസിച്ചു.
And it saw Israel the hand great which he had used Yahweh on Egypt and they feared the people Yahweh and they believed in Yahweh and in Moses servant his.
