1 ദൈവപുരുഷനായ മോശ തന്റെ മരണത്തിനുമുമ്പ് ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ ഇപ്രകാരം അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു.
This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the people of Israel before his death.
2 അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: “യഹോവ സീനായിൽനിന്ന് വന്നു, സേയീരിൽനിന്ന് അവരുടെമേൽ ഉദിച്ചു; പാരാൻപർവതത്തിൽനിന്ന് അവിടന്നു പ്രകാശിച്ചു. തെക്കുനിന്ന്, അവിടത്തെ പർവതചരിവുകളിൽനിന്ന്, ലക്ഷോപലക്ഷം വിശുദ്ധരുമായി അവിടന്നു വന്നു.
He said: Yahweh came from Sinai and rose from Seir upon them. He shined out from Mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of holy ones. In his right hand were flashes of lightning.

Indeed, he loves the peoples; all his holy ones are in your hand, and they bowed down at your feet; they received your words.
4 യാക്കോബിന്റെ സഭയുടെ അവകാശമായി, മോശ നമുക്കു നൽകിയ നിയമംതന്നെ.
Moses commanded us a law, an inheritance for the assembly of Jacob.
5 ഇസ്രായേൽ ഗോത്രങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നായകന്മാർ ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടിയപ്പോൾ അങ്ങ് യെശൂരൂന് രാജാവായിരുന്നു.
Then there was a king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people had gathered, all the tribes of Israel together.
6 “രൂബേൻ മരിക്കാതെ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കട്ടെ, അവന്റെ പുരുഷന്മാർ കുറയാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.”
Let Reuben live and not die, but may his men be few.
7 അദ്ദേഹം യെഹൂദയെക്കുറിച്ച് ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു: “യഹോവേ, യെഹൂദയുടെ നിലവിളി കേൾക്കണമേ; അവനെ തന്റെ ജനത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരണമേ. അവൻ സ്വന്തം കരങ്ങളാൽ അവനുവേണ്ടി പൊരുതുന്നു; അവന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾക്കെതിരേ സഹായമായിരിക്കണമേ.”
This is the blessing for Judah. Moses said: Listen, Yahweh, to the voice of Judah, and bring him to his people again. Fight for him; be a help against his enemies.
8 ലേവിയെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: “അങ്ങയുടെ തുമ്മീമും ഊറീമും അങ്ങയുടെ ഭക്തനോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ട്. അവിടന്ന് അവനെ മസ്സായിൽവെച്ചു പരീക്ഷിച്ചു; മെരീബയിലെ ജലാശയത്തിനരികിൽവെച്ച് അങ്ങ് അവനോടു പൊരുതി.
About Levi, Moses said: Your Thummim and your Urim belong your loyal one, the one whom you tested at Massah, with whom you struggled at the waters of Meribah.
9 അവൻ തന്റെ മാതാപിതാക്കളെക്കുറിച്ച്, ‘ഞാൻ അവരെ അറിയുന്നില്ല’ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവൻ തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ അംഗീകരിച്ചില്ല, തന്റെ മക്കളെ സ്വീകരിച്ചുമില്ല, എന്നാൽ അവൻ അങ്ങയുടെ വചനം കാത്തു, അങ്ങയുടെ ഉടമ്പടി സൂക്ഷിച്ചു.
The man who said about his father and mother, “I have not seen them.” Neither did he acknowledge his brothers, nor did he take account of his own children. For he guarded your word and kept your covenant.
10 അവൻ അങ്ങയുടെ പ്രമാണങ്ങൾ യാക്കോബിനെയും അങ്ങയുടെ നിയമം ഇസ്രായേലിനെയും ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നു. അവൻ അങ്ങയുടെമുമ്പാകെ സുഗന്ധധൂപവും അങ്ങയുടെ യാഗപീഠത്തിൽ സമ്പൂർണ ഹോമയാഗവും അർപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
He teaches Jacob your decrees and Israel your law. He will put incense before you and whole burnt offerings on your altar.
11 യഹോവേ, അവന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകളെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കണമേ, അവന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളിൽ പ്രസാദിക്കണമേ. അവനെ എതിർക്കുന്ന ശത്രുക്കൾ ഇനി എഴുന്നേൽക്കാതവണ്ണം അവരുടെ അരക്കെട്ടുകളെ നീ തകർത്തുകളയണമേ.”
Bless, Yahweh, his possessions, and accept the work of his hands. Shatter the loins of those who rise up against him, and those of the people who hate him, so that they do not rise up again.
12 ബെന്യാമീനെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: “യഹോവയ്ക്കു പ്രിയനായവൻ അങ്ങയിൽ സുരക്ഷിതനായിരിക്കട്ടെ, ദിവസംമുഴുവനും അവിടന്ന് അവനെ പരിപാലിക്കുന്നു, യഹോവ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവൻ അവിടത്തെ തോളുകളിൽ വിശ്രമിക്കുന്നു.”
About Benjamin, Moses said: The one loved by Yahweh lives in security beside him; Yahweh shields him all the day long, and he lives between Yahweh's arms.
13 യോസേഫിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: “അവന്റെ ദേശം യഹോവയാൽ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, മുകളിൽ സ്വർഗത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ള വിശിഷ്ട മഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടും താഴേ അഗാധതയിലെ ജലംകൊണ്ടും;
About Joseph, Moses said: May his land be blessed by Yahweh with the precious things of heaven, with the dew, and with the deep that lies beneath.
14 സൂര്യനിൽനിന്നുള്ള വിശിഷ്ട ഫലങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടും ചന്ദ്രനിൽനിന്നു ലഭിക്കുന്ന ശ്രേഷ്ഠഫലങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടും;
May his land be blessed with the precious things of the harvest of the sun, with the precious things of the produce of the months,
15 പുരാതന പർവതങ്ങളുടെ വിശിഷ്ടദാനങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടും ശാശ്വതശൈലങ്ങളുടെ ഫലസമൃദ്ധികൊണ്ടും;
with the finest things of the ancient mountains, and with the precious things of the everlasting hills.
16 ഭൂമിയിലെ ഉത്തമവസ്തുക്കൾകൊണ്ടും അതിന്റെ സമൃദ്ധികൊണ്ടും കത്തുന്ന മുൾപ്പടർപ്പിൽ വസിച്ചവന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹത്താലും സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ പ്രഭുവായ യോസേഫിന്റെ ശിരസ്സിലെ കിരീടത്തിൽ, ഈ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങളെല്ലാം വന്നുഭവിക്കട്ടെ.
May his land be blessed with the precious things of the earth and its abundance, and with the good will of him who was in the bush. Let the blessing come on the head of Joseph, and on the top of the head of him who was prince over his brothers.
17 പ്രതാപത്തിൽ അവൻ കടിഞ്ഞൂൽ കാട്ടുകാളയെപ്പോലെയാണ്; അവന്റെ കൊമ്പുകൾ കാട്ടുപോത്തിൻകൊമ്പുകളാകുന്നു. അവകൊണ്ട് അവൻ ജനതകളെ, ഭൂമിയുടെ അതിരുകളിൽ ഉള്ളവരെപ്പോലും വെട്ടി ഓടിച്ചുകളയും. എഫ്രയീമിന്റെ പതിനായിരങ്ങളും; മനശ്ശെയുടെ ആയിരങ്ങളും അങ്ങനെതന്നെ.”
The firstborn of an ox, majestic is he, and his horns are the horns of a wild ox. With them he will push the peoples, all of them, to the ends of the earth. These are the ten thousands of Ephraim; these are the thousands of Manasseh.
18 സെബൂലൂനെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: “സെബൂലൂനേ, നിന്റെ സഞ്ചാരങ്ങളിലും യിസ്സാഖാരേ, നീ നിന്റെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിലും ആനന്ദിക്കുക.
About Zebulun, Moses said: Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out, and you, Issachar, in your tents.
19 അവർ ജനതകളെ പർവതത്തിൽ വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടും, അവിടെ നീതിയാഗങ്ങൾ അർപ്പിക്കും; സമുദ്രങ്ങളിലെ സമൃദ്ധിയിലും മണലിലെ ഗൂഢനിക്ഷേപങ്ങളിലും അവർ വിരുന്നൊരുക്കും.”
They will call the peoples to the mountains. There will they offer sacrifices of righteousness. For they will suck the abundance of the seas, and from the sand on the seashore.
20 ഗാദിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു: “ഗാദിനെ വിശാലമാക്കുന്നവൻ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ! ഗാദ് സിംഹത്തെപ്പോലെ ജീവിക്കുന്നു, ഭുജവും നെറുകയും പറിച്ചുകീറുന്നു.
About Gad, Moses said: Blessed be he who enlarges Gad. He will live there like a lioness, and he will tear off an arm or a head.
21 ദേശത്തിന്റെ വിശിഷ്ടഭാഗം അവൻ തനിക്കുവേണ്ടി തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു; നായകരുടെ ഓഹരി അവനുവേണ്ടി സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നു. ജനത്തിന്റെ തലവന്മാർ ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടിയപ്പോൾ, യഹോവയുടെ നീതിയും ഇസ്രായേലിനെ സംബന്ധിച്ച വിധികളും അവൻ നടപ്പിലാക്കി.”
He provided the best part for himself, for there was the leader's portion of land reserved. He came with the heads of the people. He carried out the justice of Yahweh and his decrees with Israel.
22 ദാനെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: “ദാൻ ബാശാനിൽനിന്നും കുതിച്ചുചാടുന്ന, ഒരു സിംഹക്കുട്ടി.”
About Dan, Moses said: Dan is a lion cub that leaps out from Bashan.
23 നഫ്താലിയെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: “നഫ്താലി യഹോവയുടെ പ്രസാദംകൊണ്ടു സംതൃപ്തനും അവിടത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹം നിറഞ്ഞവനും ആകുന്നു; തെക്കേദേശംമുതൽ കടൽവരെ അവൻ അവകാശമാക്കും.”
About Naphtali, Moses said: Naphtali, satisfied with favor, and full of the blessing of Yahweh, take possession of the land to the west and south.
24 ആശേരിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: “പുത്രന്മാരിൽ ഏറ്റവും അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ ആശേർ ആകുന്നു; അവൻ സഹോദരന്മാർക്കു പ്രിയനായിരിക്കട്ടെ, അവൻ തന്റെ പാദങ്ങൾ എണ്ണയിൽ മുക്കട്ടെ.
About Asher, Moses said: Blessed be Asher more than the other sons; let him be acceptable to his brothers, and let him dip his foot in olive oil.
25 നിന്റെ ഓടാമ്പലുകൾ ഇരുമ്പും വെങ്കലവും ആയിരിക്കും; നിന്റെ ശക്തി നിന്റെ ദിനങ്ങൾക്കു തുല്യം.
May your city bars be iron and bronze; as long as will be your days, so long will your security be.
26 “യെശൂരൂന്റെ ദൈവത്തെപ്പോലെ ആരുമില്ല, നിന്റെ സഹായത്തിനായി അവിടന്നു തന്റെ മഹിമയിൽ മേഘാരൂഢനായി വരുന്നു,
There is no one like God, Jeshurun—the upright one, who rides through the heavens to your help, and in his majesty on the clouds.
27 നിത്യനായ ദൈവം നിന്റെ സങ്കേതമാകുന്നു, കീഴേ ശാശ്വതഭുജങ്ങളുണ്ട്. ശത്രുക്കളെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്ന് തുരത്തി, ‘അവരെ സംഹരിക്കുക!’ എന്ന് അവിടന്നു കൽപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
The eternal God is a refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He thrust out the enemy from before you, and he said, “Destroy!”
28 ധാന്യവും പുതുവീഞ്ഞുമുള്ള ദേശത്ത്, അങ്ങനെ ഇസ്രായേൽ നിർഭയമായും യാക്കോബ് സുരക്ഷിതമായും വസിക്കുന്നു, അവിടെ ആകാശം മഞ്ഞുപൊഴിക്കും.
Israel dwelt in safety. Jacob's spring was secure in a land of grain and new wine; indeed, let his heavens drop dew on him.
29 ഇസ്രായേലേ, നീ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ! നിന്നെപ്പോലെ യഹോവയാൽ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ട ജനം ഏതുള്ളൂ? അവിടന്നു നിന്റെ പരിചയും സഹായകനും നിന്റെ മഹിമയുടെ വാളും ആകുന്നു. നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ കീഴടങ്ങും, നീ അവരുടെ ഉന്നതസ്ഥലങ്ങൾ ചവിട്ടിമെതിക്കും.”
Your blessings are many, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by Yahweh, the shield of your help, and the sword of your majesty? Your enemies will come trembling to you; you will trample down their high places.
