കൊലൊസ്സ്യർ 1
1 ദൈവഹിതത്താൽ ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ അപ്പൊസ്തലനായ പൗലോസും നമ്മുടെ സഹോദരനായ തിമോത്തിയോസും,
PAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy a brother,
2 കൊലോസ്യയിലുള്ള വിശുദ്ധരും ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ വിശ്വസ്തരുമായ സഹോദരങ്ങൾക്ക് എഴുതുന്നത്: നമ്മുടെ പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകുമാറാകട്ടെ.
to the saints at Colosse, and to the faithful brethren in Christ: grace be unto you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 സുവിശേഷമെന്ന സത്യവചനത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾ മുമ്പു കേട്ടതനുസരിച്ച്, സ്വർഗത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി സംഗ്രഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന പ്രത്യാശനിമിത്തം ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്തെയും സകലവിശുദ്ധരോടും നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള സ്നേഹത്തെയുംകുറിച്ചു ഞങ്ങൾ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി എപ്പോഴും പ്രാർഥിച്ചുംകൊണ്ട് ഞങ്ങൾ നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിനു സ്തോത്രംചെയ്യുന്നു.
We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, always praying for you,
having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and the love ye show to all the saints;
because of the hope laid up for you in the heavens, which ye have heard before in the word of truth, the gospel,
6 ആ സുവിശേഷം ലോകത്തിൽ എല്ലായിടത്തും എന്നപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കലും എത്തി; നിങ്ങൾ അതു കേൾക്കുകയും ദൈവകൃപയെ യഥാർഥമായി മനസ്സിലാക്കുകയുംചെയ്ത ദിവസംമുതൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിലും അത് ഫലം പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചും വളർന്നും കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
which is come unto you, as it is also unto all the world; and beareth fruit, as also among you, from the day that ye heard and knew the grace of God in truth;
7 ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രിയ കൂട്ടുവേലക്കാരനും ഞങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തശുശ്രൂഷകനുമായ എപ്പഫ്രാസിൽനിന്ന് നിങ്ങൾ അതു പഠിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ.
even as ye have learned from Epaphras our beloved fellow-labourer, who is a faithful minister of Christ for you;
8 പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് മറ്റുള്ളവരോടുള്ള സ്നേഹത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം ഞങ്ങളെ അറിയിച്ചിട്ടുമുണ്ട്.
who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.
9 അക്കാരണത്താൽത്തന്നെ, ഞങ്ങൾ അതുകേട്ട ദിവസംമുതൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി ആരംഭിച്ച പ്രാർഥനകൾ മുടക്കിയിട്ടില്ല. നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാ വിവേകത്തോടും ആത്മികജ്ഞാനത്തോടുംകൂടി ദൈവഹിതത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പരിജ്ഞാനത്താൽ നിറഞ്ഞവരാകണമെന്നും
For this cause we also from the day we heard it have not ceased praying for you, and beseeching God that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 എല്ലാ കാര്യത്തിലും കർത്താവിനെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അവിടത്തേക്കു യോഗ്യമായവിധം ജീവിച്ചും സകലസൽപ്രവൃത്തികളിലും ഫലം കായ്ച്ചും ദൈവികപരിജ്ഞാനത്തിൽ വളരണമെന്നും
that ye may walk worthy of the Lord, well pleasing him in all things, in every good work fruitful, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 സകലസഹിഷ്ണുതയും ദീർഘക്ഷമയും കാണിക്കാൻവേണ്ടി അവിടത്തെ മഹത്ത്വകരമായ ആധിപത്യത്തിനൊത്തവണ്ണം എല്ലാ ശക്തിയും പ്രാപിച്ചു ബലപ്പെടണമെന്നും
strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long-suffering with joy;
12 വിശുദ്ധർക്കു പ്രകാശത്തിലുള്ള അവകാശത്തിന്റെ ഓഹരിക്കു നിങ്ങളെ യോഗ്യരാക്കുകയും
giving thanks to God, even the Father, who hath made us meet for a portion in the inheritance of the saints in light;
13 അന്ധകാരത്തിന്റെ അധികാരത്തിൽനിന്ന് നമ്മെ സ്വതന്ത്രരാക്കി അവിടത്തെ സ്നേഹസ്വരൂപനായ പുത്രന്റെ രാജ്യത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കുകയുംചെയ്ത പിതാവിന് ആനന്ദത്തോടെ സ്തോത്രംചെയ്യുന്നവരാകണമെന്നും ഞങ്ങൾ അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
who hath plucked us out from the dominion of darkness, and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of his love:
14 ആ പുത്രനിൽ നമുക്കു പാപവിമോചനമെന്ന വീണ്ടെടുപ്പു ലഭിച്ചു.
in whom we have redemption through his blood, and forgiveness of sins.
15 ക്രിസ്തു അദൃശ്യനായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിരൂപവും സകലസൃഷ്ടിക്കും അധീശനും ആകുന്നു.
Who is the image of the invisible God, the prime author of all creation:
16 സ്വർഗത്തിലും ഭൂമിയിലും ഉള്ള ദൃശ്യമായതും അദൃശ്യമായതും സിംഹാസനങ്ങളും കർത്തൃത്വങ്ങളും വാഴ്ചകളും അധികാരങ്ങളും എല്ലാം ക്രിസ്തുവിനാൽ സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടു; സകലതും ക്രിസ്തുമുഖേനയും ക്രിസ്തുവിനായിട്ടും സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
for by him were all things created, celestial and terrestrial, visible or invisible, whether thrones, or dominations, or principalities, or powers, all were created by him, and for him:
17 അവിടന്ന് എല്ലാറ്റിനും മുമ്പേ ഉള്ളവൻ; സകലത്തെയും നിലനിർത്തുന്നതും അവിടന്നാണ്.
and he is before all, and by him all things subsist.
18 അവിടന്ന് സഭയെന്ന ശരീരത്തിന്റെ ശിരസ്സ് ആകുന്നു. അവിടന്ന് സകലത്തിലും ഒന്നാമനാകേണ്ടതിന് ആരംഭവും മരിച്ചവരിൽനിന്ന് എഴുന്നേറ്റവരിൽ ഏറ്റവും പ്രമുഖനും ആകുന്നു.
And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the first begotten from the dead, that he might be in all things pre-eminent.
19 ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ സർവസമ്പൂർണതയും വസിക്കാനും
For it hath pleased the Father that in him all fulness should dwell;
20 അവിടന്ന് ക്രൂശിൽ ചൊരിഞ്ഞ രക്തം മുഖാന്തരം സമാധാനം ഉണ്ടാക്കി, ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളതോ സ്വർഗത്തിലുള്ളതോ ആയ സകലത്തെയും തന്നോടു ക്രിസ്തുമൂലം അനുരഞ്ജിപ്പിക്കാനും ദൈവത്തിനു തിരുഹിതം തോന്നി.
and by him to reconcile all things to himself, making peace by the blood of his cross: by him, I say, whether they be things on earth, or things in the heavens.
21 ഒരുകാലത്ത് നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ തിന്മപ്രവൃത്തികളാൽ ദൈവത്തിന് അന്യരും മനസ്സുകൊണ്ട് അവിടത്തെ ശത്രുക്കളുമായിത്തീർന്നിരുന്നു.
And you who in time past were all aliens, and enemies in mind by wicked works, hath he now reconciled,
22 ആ നിങ്ങളെ വിശുദ്ധരും നിഷ്കളങ്കരും അനിന്ദ്യരുമായി തിരുസന്നിധിയിൽ നിർത്തേണ്ടതിന് അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ ജഡശരീരത്തിൽ തന്റെ മരണത്താൽ ഇപ്പോൾ അനുരഞ്ജിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
by the body of his flesh, through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and irreprehensible in his presence:
23 നിങ്ങൾ ഈ സത്യത്തിൽ വിശ്വാസമർപ്പിച്ച് സ്ഥിരതയോടെ ഇതിൽ തുടരേണ്ടതാണ്. സുവിശേഷം കേട്ടപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ലഭിച്ച പ്രത്യാശയിൽനിന്ന് ഒഴുകിപ്പോകാതിരിക്കുക. ആകാശത്തിന്റെ കീഴിലുള്ള സകലസൃഷ്ടികളോടും പ്രസംഗിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകനായി പൗലോസ് എന്ന എന്നെ ദൈവം നിയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
if ye abide in faith grounded and firm, and never moved aside from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which hath been preached to the whole creation which is under heaven, of which I Paul am a minister.
24 നിങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി സഹിക്കുന്ന കഷ്ടതകളിൽ ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ആനന്ദിക്കുകയും ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ കഷ്ടതകളിൽ കുറവുള്ളത് സഭയാകുന്ന അവിടത്തെ ശരീരത്തിനുവേണ്ടി എന്റെ ശരീരത്തിൽ നികത്തുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നു.
Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh the measure of afflictions for Christ which remains to be endured for his body, which is the church,
25 നിങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി ദൈവം എനിക്കു നൽകിയ നിയോഗപ്രകാരം ദൈവവചനഘോഷണം പൂർണമായി നിറവേറ്റാൻ ഞാൻ സഭയുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷകനായിത്തീർന്നു.
of which I am a minister, according to the dispensation of God, which was given me for you to fulfil the ministry of the word of God―
26 ഈ വചനം മുൻയുഗങ്ങൾക്കും തലമുറകൾക്കും മറഞ്ഞിരുന്ന രഹസ്യം എങ്കിലും ഇപ്പോൾ അവിടത്തെ വിശുദ്ധർക്കു വെളിപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. (aiōn g165)
the mystery which was hid from ages and from generations, but is now unveiled to his saints; (aiōn g165)
27 മഹത്ത്വത്തിന്റെ പ്രത്യാശയായ ക്രിസ്തു നിങ്ങളിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നതാണ് ആ രഹസ്യം. ഈ ദൈവികരഹസ്യത്തിന്റെ മഹിമാധനം യെഹൂദേതരർക്കും വെളിപ്പെടുത്താൻ ദൈവത്തിന് തിരുഹിതമായി.
to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
28 ഈ ക്രിസ്തുവിനെയാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നത്; ഓരോരുത്തരെയും ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ പക്വത പ്രാപിച്ചവരാക്കേണ്ടതിന് സകലജ്ഞാനത്തോടുംകൂടെ അവരെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുകയും ഉപദേശിക്കുകയുമാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നത്.
whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus;
29 എന്നിൽ ബലത്തോടെ വ്യാപരിക്കുന്ന ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ശക്തിക്കനുസരിച്ചു പോരാടിക്കൊണ്ട് ഈ ലക്ഷ്യത്തിനുവേണ്ടി ഞാൻ അധ്വാനിക്കുന്നു.
for which also I am labouring, conflicting in the energy of his might, which worketh in me powerfully.
