ആമോസ് 4

1 എളിയവരെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുകയും ദരിദ്രരെ ഞെരുക്കുകയും തങ്ങളുടെ ഭർത്താക്കന്മാരോട്: “ഞങ്ങൾ കുടിക്കട്ടെ, കൊണ്ടുവരിക” എന്നു പറയുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന സ്ത്രീകളേ, ശമര്യ പർവതത്തിലെ ബാശാന്യ പശുക്കളേ, ഈ വചനം കേൾക്കുക!

7 “കൊയ്ത്തിനു മൂന്നുമാസമുള്ളപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു മഴ മുടക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു. ഞാൻ ഒരു പട്ടണത്തിൽ മഴ നൽകി, മറ്റൊരു പട്ടണത്തിൽ മഴ പെയ്യിച്ചില്ല. ഒരു വയലിൽ മഴ പെയ്തു, മറ്റൊരു വയലിൽ മഴ പെയ്തില്ല, അത് ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

13 പർവതങ്ങളെ രൂപപ്പെടുത്തുന്നവനും കാറ്റുകളെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നവനും തന്റെ വിചാരങ്ങളെ മനുഷ്യനു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നവനും പ്രഭാതത്തെ അന്ധകാരമാക്കുന്നവനും ഭൂമിയുടെ ഉന്നതികളിന്മേൽ നടക്കുന്നവനുമായ ഒരുവനുണ്ട്— സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്ന് ആകുന്നു അവിടത്തെ നാമം!
