ആമോസ് 2
1 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “മോവാബിന്റെ മൂന്നോ നാലോ പാപങ്ങൾനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ എന്റെ ക്രോധം മടക്കിക്കളയുകയില്ല. കാരണം, ഏദോംരാജാവിന്റെ അസ്ഥികളെ അവൻ കുമ്മായത്തിനെന്നപോലെ ചുട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.
Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Moab and on four not I will revoke it because burned he [the] bones of [the] king of Edom into lime.
2 ഞാൻ മോവാബിന്റെമേൽ അഗ്നി അയയ്ക്കും അതു കെരീയോത്തിന്റെ കോട്ടകളെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കും. യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ ആർപ്പുവിളികളുടെ മധ്യത്തിലും കാഹളത്തിന്റെ ഒച്ചയിലും, മോവാബ് മഹാനാശത്തിൽ അകപ്പെടും.
And I will send forth a fire on Moab and it will consume [the] fortresses of Kerioth and it will die in uproar Moab with a shout of alarm with [the] sound of a trumpet.
3 ഞാൻ അതിന്റെ ഭരണാധികാരിയെ നശിപ്പിക്കും; അവനോടുകൂടെ അവന്റെ സകല ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥപ്രമുഖരെയും വധിക്കും,” എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
And I will cut off a judge from midst its and all officials its I will kill with him he says Yahweh.
4 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “യെഹൂദയുടെ മൂന്നോ നാലോ പാപങ്ങൾനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ എന്റെ ക്രോധം മടക്കിക്കളയുകയില്ല. കാരണം, അവർ യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം നിരസിച്ചു; അവിടത്തെ ഉത്തരവുകൾ പ്രമാണിച്ചതുമില്ല; അവരുടെ പൂർവികർ പിൻതുടർന്ന ദേവന്മാർ, വ്യാജദേവന്മാർതന്നെ അവരെ വഴിതെറ്റിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നല്ലോ,
Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Judah and on four not I will revoke it because have rejected they [the] law of Yahweh and statutes his not they have kept and they have misled them lies their which they walked ancestors their after them.
5 ഞാൻ യെഹൂദയുടെമേൽ അഗ്നി അയയ്ക്കും അതു ജെറുശലേമിന്റെ കോട്ടകളെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കും.”
And I will send forth a fire on Judah and it will consume [the] fortresses of Jerusalem.
6 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ മൂന്നോ നാലോ പാപങ്ങൾനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ എന്റെ ക്രോധം മടക്കിക്കളയുകയില്ല. കാരണം അവർ വെള്ളിക്കുവേണ്ടി നീതിമാനെയും ഒരു ജോടി ചെരിപ്പിനു ദരിദ്രനെയും വിറ്റുകളയുന്നു.
Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Israel and on four not I will revoke it because sold they for silver [the] righteous and [the] needy for sake of a pair of sandals.
7 ഭൂമിയിലെ പൊടിമേൽ എന്നപോലെ, അവർ ദരിദ്രരുടെ തലമേൽ മെതിക്കുന്നു, അങ്ങനെ പീഡിതർക്ക് അവർ ന്യായം നിഷേധിക്കുന്നു. പിതാവും മകനും ഒരേ യുവതിയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുന്നു; അങ്ങനെ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമം ദുഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
Those [who] trample on [the] dust of [the] earth on [the] head of poor [people] and [the] way of humble [people] they turn aside and a man and father his they go into the young woman so as to profane [the] name of holiness my.
8 അവർ ഏതു ബലിപീഠത്തിനരികിലും പണയമായി വാങ്ങിയ വസ്ത്രങ്ങളിൽ കിടന്നുറങ്ങുന്നു. അവരുടെ ദേവന്റെ ആലയത്തിൽവെച്ചു പിഴയായി വാങ്ങിയ വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
And on garments taken in pledge they stretch out beside every altar and [the] wine of fines they drink [the] house of god their.
9 “ഞാൻ അവരുടെമുമ്പിൽവെച്ച് അമോര്യരെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു, അവൻ ദേവദാരുപോലെ പൊക്കമുള്ളവരും കരുവേലകംപോലെ ശക്തിയുള്ളവരും ആയിരുന്നു. മുകളിലുള്ള അവരുടെ ഫലത്തെയും താഴെയുള്ള വേരുകളെയും ഞാൻ നശിപ്പിച്ചു.
And I I destroyed the Amorite[s] from before them who [was] like [the] height of cedars height his and [is] strong he like oaks and I destroyed fruit his above and roots his beneath.
10 അമോര്യരുടെ ദേശം നിങ്ങൾക്കു തരേണ്ടതിനു, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ച്, മരുഭൂമിയിൽ നാൽപ്പതുവർഷം നടത്തി.
And I I brought up you from [the] land of Egypt and I led you in the wilderness forty year[s] to take possession of [the] land of the Amorite[s].
11 “നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽനിന്ന് പ്രവാചകന്മാരെയും യുവാക്കളിൽനിന്ന് വ്രതസ്ഥന്മാരെയും ഞാൻ എഴുന്നേൽപ്പിച്ചു. ഇസ്രായേൽജനമേ, അതു വാസ്തവമല്ലേ?” എന്ന് യഹോവ ചോദിക്കുന്നു.
And I raised up some of sons your to prophets and some of young men your to Nazirites ¿ also not [is] this O people of Israel [the] utterance of Yahweh.
12 “എന്നാൽ, നിങ്ങൾ വ്രതസ്ഥന്മാരെ വീഞ്ഞുകുടിപ്പിച്ചു; പ്രവാചകന്മാരോട്, പ്രവചിക്കരുത് എന്നു കൽപ്പിച്ചു.
And you made drink the Nazirites wine and to the prophets you commanded saying not you must prophesy.
13 “ധാന്യം കയറ്റിയ വണ്ടി അമർത്തുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ നിങ്ങൾ ഇരിക്കുന്നിടത്ത് അമർത്തിക്കളയും.
Here! I [am] about to make totter under you just as it totters the cart full itself cut grain.
14 ശീഘ്രഗാമികൾ രക്ഷപ്പെടുകയില്ല; ശക്തർ ബലം സംഭരിക്കുകയില്ല; വീരയോദ്ധാക്കൾ തങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിക്കുകയുമില്ല.
And it will be lost a place of escape from a swift [person] and a strong [person] not he will make firm power his and a mighty [person] not he will save life his.
15 വില്ലാളി ഉറച്ചുനിൽക്കുകയില്ല; ശീഘ്രഗാമിയായ പടയാളി രക്ഷപ്പെടുകയുമില്ല, കുതിരക്കാരൻ തന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിക്കുകയുമില്ല.
And [the] handler of the bow not he will stand and a [person] swift on feet his not he will save and [the] rider of the horse not he will save life his.
16 ഏറ്റവും ധീരന്മാരായ പടയാളികൾപോലും ആ ദിവസം നഗ്നരായി ഓടിപ്പോകും,” എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
And [the] [person] strong of heart his among the warriors naked he will flee on the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh.
