അപ്പൊ. പ്രവൃത്തികൾ 15
1 യെഹൂദ്യയിൽനിന്ന് ചിലർ അന്ത്യോക്യയിൽ വന്ന്, “നിങ്ങൾ മോശ പഠിപ്പിച്ച ആചാരമനുസരിച്ചു പരിച്ഛേദനം ഏൽക്കാത്തപക്ഷം രക്ഷപ്രാപിക്കുകയില്ല” എന്ന് സഹോദരങ്ങളെ ഉപദേശിച്ചു.
And certain ones having come down from Judea were teaching the brothers that Only unless (you shall become circumcised *N(k)O*) according to the custom (*no*) of Moses, [then] not you are able to be saved.
2 ഇതുനിമിത്തം പൗലോസിനും ബർന്നബാസിനും അവരോട് അൽപ്പമല്ലാത്ത അഭിപ്രായഭിന്നതയും തർക്കവും ഉണ്ടായി. ഈ തർക്കവിഷയം സംബന്ധിച്ച് ജെറുശലേമിൽ ചെന്ന് അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരെയും സഭാമുഖ്യന്മാരെയും കാണുന്നതിന് പൗലോസും ബർന്നബാസും മറ്റുചില വിശ്വാസികളും നിയോഗിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
When was hapening (then *N(k)O*) commotion and (controversy *N(k)O*) no small by Paul and Barnabas with them they appointed to go up Paul and Barnabas and certain others out from them to the apostles and elders to Jerusalem about question this.
3 സഭ അവരെ യാത്രയാക്കി; അവർ ഫൊയ്നീക്യയിലും ശമര്യയിലുംകൂടി യാത്രചെയ്ത് അവിടെയുള്ള വിശ്വാസികളോട്, യെഹൂദേതരർ കർത്താവിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു വിവരിച്ചു; സഹോദരങ്ങൾ ഇതു കേട്ട് വളരെ ആനന്ദിച്ചു.
They indeed therefore having been sent forward by the church were passing through (both *no*) Phoenicia and Samaria relating in detail the conversion of the Gentiles and they were bringing joy great to all the brothers.
4 അവർ ജെറുശലേമിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ സഭയും അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരും സഭാമുഖ്യന്മാരും അവരെ സ്വാഗതംചെയ്തു; ദൈവം തങ്ങളിലൂടെ നിർവഹിച്ച എല്ലാ കാര്യങ്ങളും പൗലോസും ബർന്നബാസും കൂടെയുള്ളവരും അവരെ അറിയിച്ചു.
Having come then to Jerusalem (they were received by *N(k)O*) the church and the apostles and the elders, They declared then how much God did with them.
5 അപ്പോൾ പരീശന്മാരുടെ വിഭാഗത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട ഏതാനും വിശ്വാസികൾ എഴുന്നേറ്റുനിന്ന്, “യെഹൂദേതരവിശ്വാസികളോട് പരിച്ഛേദനം ഏൽക്കാനും മോശയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം അനുസരിക്കാനും കൽപ്പിക്കണം” എന്ന് അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു.
Rose up now certain of those of the sect of the Pharisees having believed saying that It is necessary to circumcise them to command [them] then to keep the law of Moses.
6 ഈ പ്രശ്നം പരിഗണിക്കാൻ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരും സഭാമുഖ്യന്മാരും ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂടി.
Were gathered together (then *N(k)O*) the apostles and the elders to understand about matter this.
7 സുദീർഘമായ ചർച്ചയ്ക്കുശേഷം പത്രോസ് എഴുന്നേറ്റുനിന്ന് അവരോടിങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു: “സഹോദരന്മാരായ പുരുഷന്മാരേ, യെഹൂദേതരർ എന്റെ അധരങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് സുവിശേഷം കേൾക്കുകയും വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിനു കുറച്ചുനാൾമുമ്പ് ദൈവം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത വസ്തുത നിങ്ങൾക്കറിയാമല്ലോ!
Of much now (controversy *N(k)O*) having taken place, having risen up Peter said to them; Men brothers, you yourselves know that from days early among (you *N(K)O*) chose God through the mouth of mine to hear the Gentiles the word of the gospel and to believe.
8 ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ അറിയുന്നവനായ ദൈവം നമുക്കു നൽകിയതുപോലെ അവർക്കും പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനെ നൽകിക്കൊണ്ട് അവരെ അംഗീകരിച്ചെന്നു സാക്ഷ്യപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
And the heart-knowing God bore witness to them having given (to them *k*) the Spirit Holy even as also to us;
9 ദൈവം നമുക്കും അവർക്കുംതമ്മിൽ വിവേചനമൊന്നും കാണിച്ചിട്ടില്ല: അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെയും വിശ്വാസത്താൽ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചല്ലോ.
and no [thing] He made distinction between us also and them by the faith having purified the hearts of them.
10 അതുകൊണ്ട്, നമുക്കോ നമ്മുടെ പൂർവികർക്കോ വഹിക്കാൻ കഴിയാതിരുന്ന നുകം ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ച യെഹൂദേതരരായവരുടെ കഴുത്തിൽവെച്ച് ദൈവത്തെ നാം ഇപ്പോൾ എന്തിനു പരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു?
Now therefore why are you testing God to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples that neither the fathers of us nor we ourselves were able to bear?
11 കർത്താവായ യേശുവിന്റെ കൃപയാണ് നമുക്കും അവർക്കും രക്ഷ ലഭിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള മാർഗം എന്നു നാം വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു.”
But through the grace of the Lord Jesus (Christ *K*) we believe to be saved in [the] same manner [as] they also. they also.
12 ബർന്നബാസും പൗലോസും തങ്ങളിലൂടെ ദൈവം യെഹൂദേതരരുടെ ഇടയിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ച ചിഹ്നങ്ങളും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും വിവരിച്ചതു കൂടിയിരുന്ന ജനമെല്ലാം ഒന്നടങ്കം നിശ്ശബ്ദരായി കേട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
Kept silent now all the multitude and were listening to Barnabas and Paul relating how much did God signs and wonders among the Gentiles through them.
13 അവർ സംസാരിച്ചുകഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ യാക്കോബ് ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു: “സഹോദരന്മാരേ, എന്റെ വാക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക.
After now being silent they answered James saying; Men brothers, do hear me.
14 ദൈവം ആദ്യമായി യെഹൂദേതരരിൽനിന്ന് ഒരു ജനതയെ തന്റെ നാമത്തിനായി തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തുകൊണ്ട്, അവരെ കടാക്ഷിച്ചതിനെപ്പറ്റി ശിമോൻ പത്രോസ് നമ്മോട് വിശദമാക്കിയല്ലോ.
Simeon has related even as first God visited to take out of [the] Gentiles a people (upon *k*) for the name of Him;
15 പ്രവാചക ലിഖിതങ്ങളിലെ ഈ വാക്കുകളും ഇതിനോടു വളരെ യോജിക്കുന്നു:
And with this agree the words of the prophets even as it has been written:
16 “‘ഇതിനുശേഷം ഞാൻ മടങ്ങിവരികയും ദാവീദിന്റെ വീണുപോയ കൂടാരം വീണ്ടും പണിയുകയും ചെയ്യും; ഞാൻ അതിന്റെ നഷ്ടാവശിഷ്ടങ്ങൾ വീണ്ടും പണിയും ഞാൻ അതിനെ പുനഃസ്ഥാപിക്കും;
After these things I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David which having fallen and the (ruined *NK(o)*) of it I will rebuild and I will set upright it;
17 മനുഷ്യരിൽ ശേഷിക്കുന്നവരും എന്റെ നാമം വഹിക്കുന്ന യെഹൂദേതരരും കർത്താവിനെ അന്വേഷിക്കും, എന്ന് പൂർവകാലംമുതൽതന്നെ ഈ കാര്യങ്ങളെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന (aiōn g165)
so that when may seek out the remnant of men the Lord and all the Gentiles, upon whom has been called the name of Me upon them, says [the] Lord (who *ko*) is doing these things (all *K*)
18 കർത്താവ് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.’
known from eternity’ (is to God all the works of him. *K*) (aiōn g165)
19 “ആകയാൽ, ദൈവത്തിലേക്കു തിരിയുന്ന യെഹൂദേതരരെ നാം ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടിക്കരുത് എന്നതാണ് എന്റെ തീരുമാനം.
Therefore I myself judge not to trouble those who from the Gentiles are turning to God,
20 വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്ക് അർപ്പിച്ചവ, ശ്വാസംമുട്ടിച്ചു കൊന്നവ, രക്തം എന്നിവ ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിൽനിന്നും ലൈംഗികാധർമത്തിൽനിന്നും അകന്നിരിക്കണമെന്നു നാം അവർക്ക് എഴുതി അയയ്ക്കണം.
but to write to them to abstain from (from *k*) the pollutions of the idols and sexual immorality and that which is strangled and from blood.
21 മോശയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം പൂർവകാലംമുതൽ എല്ലാ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും പ്രസംഗിച്ചും ശബ്ബത്തുതോറും യെഹൂദപ്പള്ളികളിൽ വായിച്ചും പോരുന്നുണ്ടല്ലോ!”
Moses for from generations of old in every city those proclaiming him he is in the synagogues on every Sabbath being read.
22 അപ്പോൾത്തന്നെ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരും സഭാമുഖ്യന്മാരും സഭമുഴുവനും ചേർന്ന് തങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലുള്ള ചിലരെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത് പൗലോസിനോടും ബർന്നബാസിനോടുംകൂടെ അന്ത്യോക്യയിലേക്കയയ്ക്കണമെന്നു നിശ്ചയിച്ചു. സഹോദരങ്ങൾക്കിടയിൽ നേതൃത്വം വഹിച്ചിരുന്നവരായ ബർശബാസ് എന്നു വിളിക്കുന്ന യൂദായെയും ശീലാസിനെയും അവർ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു.
Then it seemed good to the apostles and to the elders with all the church having chosen men out from them to send to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, Judas who (is being called *N(k)O*) Barsabbas and Silas, men leading among the brothers,
23 അവരുടെ കൈയിൽ കൊടുത്തയച്ച കത്തിൽ ഇങ്ങനെ എഴുതിയിരുന്നു: അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരും സഭാമുഖ്യന്മാരുമായ സഹോദരന്മാർ, അന്ത്യോക്യാനഗരത്തിലും സിറിയ, കിലിക്യ എന്നീ പ്രവിശ്യകളിലുമുള്ള യെഹൂദേതരരായ വിശ്വാസികൾക്ക് എഴുതുന്നത്: നിങ്ങൾക്കെല്ലാവർക്കും വന്ദനം!
having written through [the] hand of them (these things: *k*) The apostles and the elders (and the *K*) brothers To those in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia to brothers among the Gentiles Greeting.
24 ഞങ്ങൾ അധികാരപ്പെടുത്താതെ, ചിലർ ഞങ്ങളുടെയിടയിൽനിന്ന് വന്നു നിങ്ങളെ ശല്യപ്പെടുത്തുകയും അവരുടെ വാക്കുകളാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സുകൾ അസ്വസ്ഥമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുവെന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ കേട്ടു.
Inasmuch as we have heard that some from us went out troubled you by words upsetting the minds of you (saying to be circumcised and to keep the law *K*) to whom not we had given instructions,
25 അതുകൊണ്ടു ചിലരെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത്, നമ്മുടെ പ്രിയസ്നേഹിതരായ ബർന്നബാസിനോടും പൗലോസിനോടുംകൂടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്തേക്കയയ്ക്കണമെന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ ഏകമനസ്സോടെ തീരുമാനിച്ചു.
it seemed good to us having come with one accord (having chosen *N(k)O*) men to send to you with the beloved of us Barnabas and Paul,
26 അവർ ഇരുവരും നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാമത്തിനുവേണ്ടി സ്വന്തം ജീവൻപോലും പണയപ്പെടുത്തിയവരാണല്ലോ.
men having handed over the lives of them for the name of the Lord of us Jesus Christ.
27 ആകയാൽ, ഞങ്ങൾ എഴുതി അയയ്ക്കുന്ന അതേ കാര്യങ്ങൾ യൂദായുടെയും ശീലാസിന്റെയും വാമൊഴിയാലും കേട്ട് ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തുന്നതിന് ബർന്നബാസിന്റെയും പൗലോസിന്റെയും കൂടെ അവരെയും അയയ്ക്കുന്നു.
We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, and they through word [of mouth] are telling [you] the same things.
28 താഴെപ്പറയുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഒഴികെ മറ്റൊന്നും അടിച്ചേൽപ്പിച്ച് നിങ്ങളെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടിക്കരുതെന്ന് പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനും ഞങ്ങൾക്കും തോന്നിയിരിക്കുന്നു:
It seemed good for to the Spirit (*no*) Holy and to us no further to lay upon you burden except these necessary things
29 വിഗ്രഹാർപ്പിതഭക്ഷണം, രക്തം, ശ്വാസംമുട്ടിച്ചു കൊന്നവ, ലൈംഗികാധർമം എന്നിവ നിങ്ങൾ വർജിക്കണം; ഈ കാര്യങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് ഒഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതു നല്ലത്. നിങ്ങൾക്കു ശുഭാശംസകൾ!
to abstain from idol-sacrifices and from blood and (from a strangled [one] *N(k)O*) and from sexual immorality; From these keeping yourselves well you will do. Farewell!
30 അങ്ങനെ അവർ വിടവാങ്ങി, അന്ത്യോക്യയിലെത്തി; സഭയെ കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി കത്തു കൊടുത്തു.
They indeed therefore having been sent off (went *N(k)O*) to Antioch, and having gathered the multitude they delivered the letter.
31 ജനങ്ങൾ അതു വായിച്ച് അതിലെ പ്രോത്സാഹജനകമായ സന്ദേശംനിമിത്തം ആനന്ദിച്ചു.
Having read [it] now they rejoiced at the encouragement.
32 പ്രവാചകന്മാർ ആയിരുന്ന യൂദായും ശീലാസും അനേകം വചനങ്ങളാൽ സഹോദരങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുകയും വിശ്വാസത്തിൽ ഉറപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
Judas both and Silas, also themselves prophets being, through talk much exhorted the brothers and strengthened [them].
33 കുറെക്കാലംകൂടി അവിടെ താമസിച്ചശേഷം, തങ്ങളെ അയച്ച ജെറുശലേമിലെ സഹോദരങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് സമാധാനാശംസയോടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ അവരെ തിരികെ അയച്ചു.
Having continued then a time they were sent away in peace from the brothers to those (having sent *N(K)O*) (them. *no*)
34 എന്നാൽ, പൗലോസും ബർന്നബാസും അന്ത്യോക്യയിൽത്തന്നെ തുടർന്നു. അവിടെ അവരും അവരോടൊപ്പം മറ്റുപലരും കർത്താവിന്റെ വചനം പഠിപ്പിക്കുകയും പ്രസംഗിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുപോന്നു.
(It seemed good however to Silas to remain here. *K*)
Paul however and Barnabas were staying in Antioch teaching and evangelising with also others many the word of the Lord.
36 കുറെ നാളുകൾക്കുശേഷം പൗലോസ് ബർന്നബാസിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു, “നാം കർത്താവിന്റെ വചനം പ്രസംഗിച്ച പട്ടണങ്ങളിലെല്ലാം മടങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു സഹോദരങ്ങളെ സന്ദർശിക്കുകയും അവരുടെ ക്ഷേമം അന്വേഷിക്കുകയുംചെയ്യാം.”
After now some days said to Barnabas Paul; Having turned back indeed let us look after the brothers (of us *k*) in city every in which we have announced the word of the Lord, how they are.
37 മർക്കോസ് എന്നും പേരുള്ള യോഹന്നാനെയും തങ്ങളുടെകൂടെ കൊണ്ടുപോകണമെന്നു ബർന്നബാസ് ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു.
Barnabas now (was planning *N(k)O*) to take along (also *no*) John who is being called Mark;
38 എന്നാൽ, പ്രവർത്തനത്തിൽ തുടർന്നു പങ്കെടുക്കാതെ പംഫുല്യയിൽവെച്ച് അവരെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുപോയ ഒരാളെ കൂടെക്കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നത് ഉചിതമല്ല എന്ന് പൗലോസ് അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു.
Paul however was considering the [one] having withdrawn from them from Pamphylia and not having gone with them to the work not (to take along *N(k)(o)*) him.
39 അവർതമ്മിൽ ശക്തമായ അഭിപ്രായഭിന്നതയുണ്ടായിട്ട് പരസ്പരം വേർപിരിഞ്ഞു. ബർന്നബാസ് മർക്കോസിനെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ട് സൈപ്രസിലേക്കു കപ്പലിൽ യാത്രയായി,
Arose (therefore *N(k)O*) a sharp disagreement, so that separating they from one another, and Barnabas having taken Mark sailing to Cyprus.
40 എന്നാൽ പൗലോസ്, സഹോദരങ്ങളാൽ കർത്താവിന്റെ കൃപയിൽ ഭരമേൽപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ട് ശീലാസിനെയുംകൂട്ടി യാത്രയായി.
Paul however having chosen Silas went forth having been committed to the grace of the (Lord *N(K)O*) by the brothers.
41 അദ്ദേഹം സിറിയയിലും കിലിക്യയിലും കൂടെ സഞ്ചരിച്ച് സഭകളെ വിശ്വാസത്തിൽ ഉറപ്പിച്ചു.
He was passing through then Syria and (*no*) Cilicia strengthening the churches.
