2 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 6

1 നിങ്ങൾ പ്രാപിച്ച ദൈവകൃപ വ്യർഥമാക്കരുതെന്ന്, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സഹപ്രവർത്തകരെന്ന നിലയിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോട് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

But [as] fellow-workmen, we also beseech that ye receive not the grace of God in vain:

2 “പ്രസാദകാലത്തു ഞാൻ നിന്റെ പ്രാർഥന കേട്ടു: രക്ഷാദിവസത്തിൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സഹായിച്ചു,” എന്ന് അവിടന്ന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നല്ലോ. ഇപ്പോഴാണ് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സുപ്രസാദകാലം, ഇന്നാണ് രക്ഷാദിവസം.

(for he says, I have listened to thee in an accepted time, and I have helped thee in a day of salvation: behold, now [is the] well-accepted time; behold, now [the] day of salvation: )

3 ഞങ്ങളുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്ക് അപവാദം വരാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഞങ്ങൾ ആരുടെയും പാതയിൽ തടസ്സം ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നില്ല.

giving no manner of offence in anything, that the ministry be not blamed;

4 ഞങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്ന സകലത്തിലൂടെയും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ യഥാർഥ ശുശ്രൂഷകരാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ എന്നു തെളിയിക്കുന്നു. കഷ്ടതകളും ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളും എല്ലാവിധത്തിലുമുള്ള വിപത്തുകളും ഞങ്ങൾ ക്ഷമയോടെ സഹിച്ചു,

but in everything commending ourselves as God's ministers, in much endurance, in afflictions, in necessities, in straits,

5 ഞങ്ങൾ അടിയേറ്റു; കാരാഗൃഹത്തിൽ അടയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ടു; ക്രുദ്ധജനത്തിന്റെ ലഹളയെ അഭിമുഖീകരിച്ചു; അധ്വാനത്താൽ പരിക്ഷീണിതരായി; ഉറക്കമില്ലാതെ രാത്രികൾ ചെലവഴിച്ചു; പട്ടിണിയിലായി.

in stripes, in prisons, in riots, in labours, in watchings, in fastings,

6 പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ സഹായത്താൽ ആത്മാർഥസ്നേഹത്തിലൂടെയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ നിർമല ജീവിതത്തിലൂടെയും വിവേകത്തോടെയുള്ള പെരുമാറ്റത്തിലൂടെയും ക്ഷമാശീലത്തിലൂടെയും ദയയിലൂടെയും ഞങ്ങൾ ആരാണെന്നു തെളിയിച്ചു.

in pureness, in knowledge, in longsuffering, in kindness, in [the] Holy Spirit, in love unfeigned,

7 സത്യസന്ധമായ സംഭാഷണത്തിലും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശക്തിയിലും നിലകൊണ്ട്, ഇടത്തും വലത്തും നീതിയുടെ ആയുധങ്ങൾ വഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്,

in [the] word of truth, in [the] power of God; through the arms of righteousness on the right hand and left,

8 ആദരവിലൂടെയും അനാദരവിലൂടെയും ദുഷ്കീർത്തിയിലൂടെയും സൽകീർത്തിയിലൂടെയും ഞങ്ങൾ കടന്നുപോകുന്നു; പരമാർഥികളെങ്കിലും വഞ്ചകരായും

through glory and dishonour, through evil report and good report: as deceivers, and true;

9 പ്രസിദ്ധരെങ്കിലും അപ്രസിദ്ധരെപ്പോലെയും കരുതപ്പെടുന്നു. ഞങ്ങൾ മരിക്കുന്നെങ്കിലും ജീവിക്കുന്നു. അടികൊള്ളുന്നെങ്കിലും കൊല്ലപ്പെടുന്നില്ല.

as unknown, and well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as disciplined, and not put to death;

10 ദുഃഖിതരെങ്കിലും എപ്പോഴും ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നു. ദരിദ്രരെങ്കിലും പലരെയും സമ്പന്നരാക്കുന്നു. ഒന്നുമില്ലാത്തവർ എങ്കിലും എല്ലാം ഉള്ളവർതന്നെ.

as grieved, but always rejoicing; as poor, but enriching many; as having nothing, and possessing all things.

11 കൊരിന്ത്യരേ, ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോടു തുറന്നു സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം വിശാലമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Our mouth is opened to you, Corinthians, our heart is expanded.

12 നിങ്ങളോടുള്ള സ്നേഹം ഞങ്ങൾ നൽകാതിരുന്നിട്ടില്ലെങ്കിലും, നിങ്ങളത് ഞങ്ങൾക്കു നൽകുന്നില്ല.

Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your affections;

13 നിങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് മക്കളെപ്പോലെ ആണ്. അതുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങളും ഞങ്ങളെപ്പോലെതന്നെ ഹൃദയവിശാലത ഉള്ളവരായിരിക്കുന്നത് ന്യായമാണല്ലോ.

but for an answering recompense, (I speak as to children, ) let your heart also expand itself.

14 അവിശ്വാസികളുമായുള്ള പങ്കാളിത്തം ചേർച്ചയില്ലാത്തതാണ്, അത് അരുത്. നീതിക്കും ദുഷ്ടതയ്ക്കുംതമ്മിൽ എന്താണു യോജിപ്പ്? പ്രകാശത്തിനും ഇരുളിനുംതമ്മിൽ എന്തു കൂട്ടായ്മ?

Be not diversely yoked with unbelievers; for what participation [is there] between righteousness and lawlessness? or what fellowship of light with darkness?

15 ക്രിസ്തുവിനും ബെലിയാലിനുംതമ്മിൽ ഐക്യമോ? വിശ്വാസിക്ക് അവിശ്വാസിയുമായി പൊതുവായിട്ട് എന്താണുള്ളത്?

and what consent of Christ with Beliar, or what part for a believer along with an unbeliever?

16 ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയവും വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുംതമ്മിൽ എന്തു ബന്ധം? നാം ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയമല്ലോ: “ഞാൻ അവരിൽ വസിക്കുകയും അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ നടക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും; ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ദൈവവും അവർ എന്റെ ജനവും ആയിരിക്കും” എന്നു ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ആകയാൽ,

and what agreement of God's temple with idols? for ye are [the] living God's temple; according as God has said, I will dwell among them, and walk among [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be to me a people.

17 “അവരിൽനിന്ന് പുറത്തുവരികയും വേർപിരിയുകയുംചെയ്യുക, എന്നു കർത്താവ് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു. അശുദ്ധമായതൊന്നും സ്പർശിക്കരുത്; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ സ്വീകരിക്കും.”

Wherefore come out from the midst of them, and be separated, saith [the] Lord, and touch not [what is] unclean, and I will receive you;

18 “ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു പിതാവും നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്കു പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരും ആയിരിക്കും, എന്നു സർവശക്തനായ കർത്താവ് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.”

and I will be to you for a Father, and ye shall be to me for sons and daughters, saith [the] Lord Almighty.
