2 ദിനവൃത്താന്തം 3
1 അതിനുശേഷം ശലോമോൻ ജെറുശലേമിലെ മോരിയാമലയിൽ, തന്റെ പിതാവായ ദാവീദിന് യഹോവ പ്രത്യക്ഷനായ ഇടത്തുതന്നെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയം പണിയുന്നതിന് ആരംഭിച്ചു. യെബൂസ്യനായ അരവ്നായുടെ മെതിക്കളത്തിൽ ദാവീദ് വേർതിരിച്ചിരുന്ന സ്ഥലമായിരുന്നു അത്.
Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the LORD appeared to David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
2 തന്റെ ഭരണത്തിന്റെ നാലാംവർഷം രണ്ടാംമാസത്തിൽ രണ്ടാംദിവസം ശലോമോൻ ആലയത്തിന്റെ നിർമാണം തുടങ്ങി.
And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3 ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയം പണിയുന്നതിനു ശലോമോൻ ഇട്ട അടിസ്ഥാനം അറുപതുമുഴം നീളവും ഇരുപതുമുഴം വീതിയും ഉള്ളതായിരുന്നു (പഴയ അളവുരീതി അനുസരിച്ച്).
Now these are the things in which Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
4 ആലയത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിലുള്ള മണ്ഡപത്തിന്, ആലയത്തിന്റെ വീതിക്കു തുല്യമായി, ഇരുപതുമുഴം നീളവും ഇരുപതുമുഴം പൊക്കവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അതിന്റെ ഉൾവശം അദ്ദേഹം തങ്കംകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു.
And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
5 വിശാലമായ മുറിക്ക് അദ്ദേഹം സരളമരംകൊണ്ടു മച്ചിട്ടു; അതു മേൽത്തരമായ തങ്കംകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞ് അതിന്മേൽ ഈന്തപ്പനകൾ ഒരു ചങ്ങലപോലെ അങ്കനംചെയ്ത് അലങ്കരിച്ചു.
And the greater house he panelled with fir wood, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set on it palm trees and chains.
6 അമൂല്യരത്നങ്ങളും പർവയീമിൽനിന്നുള്ള തങ്കവുംകൊണ്ട് അദ്ദേഹം ആലയത്തെ അലങ്കരിച്ചു.
And he adorned the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
7 ആലയത്തിലെ മേൽത്തട്ടിന്റെ തുലാങ്ങളും കട്ടിളകളും ഭിത്തികളും കതകുകളും അദ്ദേഹം സ്വർണംകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു; ഭിത്തികളിൽ കെരൂബുകളുടെ രൂപം കൊത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls of it, and the doors of it, with gold; and engraved cherubim on the walls.
8 ദൈവാലയത്തിന്റെ വീതിക്കു തുല്യമായ ഇരുപതുമുഴം നീളത്തിലും ഇരുപതുമുഴം വീതിയിലും അതിവിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലം അദ്ദേഹം പണിയിച്ചു. അറുനൂറു താലന്ത് മേൽത്തരമായ തങ്കംകൊണ്ട് അതിന്റെ അകവശം പൊതിഞ്ഞു.
And he made the most holy house, the length of which was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth of it twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
9 സ്വർണആണികൾക്കുതന്നെ അൻപതുശേക്കേൽ തൂക്കമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. മാളികമുറികളും അദ്ദേഹം സ്വർണംകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു.
And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.
10 അതിവിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്ത് അദ്ദേഹം ശില്പനിർമിതമായ ഒരു ജോടി കെരൂബുകളെ സ്ഥാപിച്ചു; അവയും തങ്കംകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു.
And in the most holy house he made two cherubim of image work, and overlaid them with gold.
11 കെരൂബുകൾ രണ്ടിന്റെയുംകൂടി ചിറകുകളുടെ ആകെ നീളം ഇരുപതുമുഴമായിരുന്നു. ആദ്യത്തെ കെരൂബിന്റെ ഒരു ചിറകിന്റെ നീളം അഞ്ചുമുഴം; അതിന്റെ അഗ്രം ദൈവാലയത്തിന്റെ ഒരു വശത്തെ ഭിത്തിയിൽ തൊട്ടിരുന്നു. അഞ്ചുമുഴംതന്നെ നീളമുള്ള മറ്റേ ചിറക് മറ്റേ കെരൂബിന്റെ ചിറകിൽ തൊട്ടിരുന്നു.
And the wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
12 ഇതുപോലെതന്നെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ കെരൂബിന്റെ ഒരു ചിറക് അഞ്ചുമുഴം നീളമുള്ളതും ദൈവാലയത്തിന്റെ മറുവശത്തെ ഭിത്തിയിൽ തൊട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതും ആയിരുന്നു. ഇതിന്റെ മറ്റേ ചിറകും അഞ്ചുമുഴം നീളമുള്ളതും ആദ്യത്തെ കെരൂബിന്റെ ചിറകിന്റെ അഗ്രത്തിൽ തൊട്ടതും ആയിരുന്നു.
And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
13 ഈ കെരൂബുകളുടെ ചിറകുകൾ നാലുംകൂടി ഇരുപതുമുഴം നീളത്തിൽ വ്യാപിച്ചിരുന്നു. അവ കാലൂന്നി ആലയത്തിലെ വിശാലമായ മുറിയെ അഭിമുഖീകരിച്ചു നിന്നിരുന്നു.
The wings of these cherubim spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.
14 നീലനൂൽ, ഊതനൂൽ, ചെമപ്പുനൂൽ, മൃദുലചണനൂൽ എന്നിവകൊണ്ട് തിരശ്ശീലയുണ്ടാക്കി; അതിന്മേൽ കെരൂബുകളുടെ പ്രതിരൂപവും അദ്ദേഹം നെയ്തുണ്ടാക്കി.
And he made the veil of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubim on it.
15 ദൈവാലയത്തിനുമുമ്പിൽ മുപ്പത്തഞ്ചുമുഴം വീതം പൊക്കവും അതിന്മേൽ അഞ്ചുമുഴം പൊക്കത്തിൽ ഓരോ തലപ്പും ഉള്ള രണ്ടു സ്തംഭങ്ങൾ അദ്ദേഹം സ്ഥാപിച്ചു.
Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.
16 കണ്ണികൾ കൊരുത്തുചേർത്തവിധമുള്ള ചങ്ങലകൾ സ്തംഭങ്ങളുടെ മുകളിൽ സ്ഥാപിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം അവയെ അലങ്കരിച്ചു; നൂറു മാതളപ്പഴങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാക്കി ചങ്ങലയിൽ ഘടിപ്പിച്ചു.
And he made chains, as in the inner sanctuary, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
17 ദൈവാലയത്തിനുമുമ്പിൽ ഒന്നു തെക്കും മറ്റേതു വടക്കുമായി അദ്ദേഹം സ്തംഭങ്ങൾ രണ്ടും സ്ഥാപിച്ചു; തെക്കുവശത്തുള്ള സ്തംഭത്തിന് യാഖീൻ എന്നും വടക്കുവശത്തുള്ള സ്തംഭത്തിന് ബോവസ് എന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പേരിട്ടു.
And he erected the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
