1 രാജാക്കന്മാർ 22
1 മൂന്നുവർഷത്തോളം അരാമും ഇസ്രായേലുംതമ്മിൽ യുദ്ധം ഉണ്ടായില്ല.
and to dwell three year nothing battle between Syria and between Israel
2 എന്നാൽ, മൂന്നാംവർഷം യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഹോശാഫാത്ത് ഇസ്രായേൽരാജാവായ ആഹാബിനെ സന്ദർശിച്ചു.
and to be in/on/with year [the] third and to go down Jehoshaphat king Judah to(wards) king Israel
3 ഇസ്രായേൽരാജാവ് തന്റെ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്മാരോട്: “ഗിലെയാദിലെ രാമോത്ത് നമുക്കുള്ളതാണെന്ന് നിങ്ങൾക്കറിഞ്ഞുകൂടേ? എങ്കിലും, നാം അതിനെ അരാംരാജാവിന്റെ നിയന്ത്രണത്തിൽനിന്നു തിരിച്ചുപിടിക്കാൻ യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യുന്നില്ലല്ലോ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

4 അപ്പോൾ ആഹാബ് യെഹോശാഫാത്തിനോട്: “ഗിലെയാദിലെ രാമോത്തിനെതിരേ യുദ്ധത്തിനായി അങ്ങയും എന്റെകൂടെ വരാമോ?” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. യെഹോശാഫാത്ത് ഇസ്രായേൽരാജാവിനോട്: “ഞാൻ അങ്ങയെപ്പോലെ; എന്റെ ജനം അങ്ങയുടെ ജനത്തെപ്പോലെ; എന്റെ കുതിരകൾ അങ്ങയുടെ കുതിരകളെപ്പോലെയുംതന്നെ” എന്നു മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു.

5 യെഹോശാഫാത്ത് തുടർന്നു: “എന്നാൽ, ഒന്നാമതായി നമുക്ക് യഹോവയോട് അരുളപ്പാട് ചോദിക്കാം.”

6 അങ്ങനെ, ഇസ്രായേൽരാജാവ് ഏകദേശം നാനൂറു പ്രവാചകന്മാരെ ഒരുമിച്ചു വിളിച്ചുവരുത്തി അവരോട്: “ഞാൻ ഗിലെയാദിലെ രാമോത്തിലേക്കു യുദ്ധത്തിനുപോകയോ അഥവാ, പോകാതിരിക്കയോ എന്താണു ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്?” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. “പോയാലും! കർത്താവ് അതിനെ രാജാവിന്റെ കൈയിൽ ഏൽപ്പിച്ചുതരും,” എന്ന് അവർ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

7 എന്നാൽ, യെഹോശാഫാത്ത് ആഹാബിനോടു: “നാം ദൈവഹിതം അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിനായി ഇവിടെ യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവാചകനായി മറ്റാരുമില്ലേ?” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

8 ഇസ്രായേൽരാജാവ് യെഹോശാഫാത്തിനോട്: “നാം യഹോവയുടെഹിതം ആരായേണ്ടതിനായി യിമ്ളയുടെ മകനായ മീഖായാവ് എന്നൊരാൾകൂടി ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്; പക്ഷേ, അയാൾ എന്നെപ്പറ്റി തിന്മയായുള്ളതല്ലാതെ നന്മയായി ഒരിക്കലും പ്രവചിക്കാറില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ അയാളെ വെറുക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. “രാജാവ് അങ്ങനെ പറയരുതേ,” എന്നു യെഹോശാഫാത്ത് ആഹാബിനോട് അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.

11 കെനയനയുടെ മകനായ സിദെക്കീയാവ് ഇരുമ്പുകൊണ്ടു കൊമ്പുകളുണ്ടാക്കി, “‘ഇതുകൊണ്ട് നീ അരാമ്യരെ ആക്രമിച്ച് അവരെ കുത്തിക്കീറിക്കളയും’ എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

12 മറ്റു പ്രവാചകന്മാരും അങ്ങനെതന്നെ പ്രവചിച്ചു: “രാമോത്തിലെ ഗിലെയാദിനെ ആക്രമിക്കുക! വിജയിയാകുക! യഹോവ അതിനെ രാജാവിന്റെ കൈയിൽ ഏൽപ്പിക്കും.”

13 മീഖായാവെ ആനയിക്കാൻപോയ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തോട്: “നോക്കൂ, മറ്റു പ്രവാചകന്മാരെല്ലാം ഏകകണ്ഠമായി രാജാവിനു വിജയം പ്രവചിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അങ്ങയുടെ പ്രവചനവും അവരുടേതുപോലെ രാജാവിന് അനുകൂലമായിരിക്കട്ടെ!” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

14 എന്നാൽ മീഖായാവ്: “ജീവിക്കുന്ന യഹോവയാണെ, യഹോവ എന്നോട് എന്തു സംസാരിക്കുന്നോ അതുതന്നെ ഞാൻ പ്രസ്താവിക്കും” എന്നുത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
and to say Micaiah alive LORD for [obj] which to say LORD to(wards) me [obj] him to speak: speak
15 മീഖായാവു രാജസന്നിധിയിലെത്തിയപ്പോൾ രാജാവ് അദ്ദേഹത്തോട്: “മീഖായാവേ, ഞങ്ങൾ ഗിലെയാദിലെ രാമോത്തിനെതിരേ യുദ്ധത്തിനു പുറപ്പെടണമോ അഥവാ, പുറപ്പെടാതിരിക്കണമോ എന്തു ചെയ്യേണം?” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. മീഖായാവു പരിഹാസത്തോടെ മറുപടികൊടുത്തു: “ആക്രമിക്കുക! വിജയം വരിക്കുക! യഹോവ അതിനെ രാജാവിന്റെ കൈയിൽ ഏൽപ്പിക്കും.”

16 രാജാവ് അദ്ദേഹത്തോട്: “യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ, എന്നോടു സത്യമല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നും പറയരുതെന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ട് എത്രപ്രാവശ്യം ശപഥംചെയ്യിക്കണം?” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
and to say to(wards) him [the] king till like/as what? beat I to swear you which not to speak: speak to(wards) me except truth: true in/on/with name LORD
17 അപ്പോൾ മീഖായാവു മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു: “ഇസ്രായേൽസൈന്യം ഇടയനില്ലാത്ത ആടുകളെപ്പോലെ മലമുകളിൽ ചിതറിയിരിക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ ദർശനത്തിൽ കണ്ടു. ‘ഈ ജനത്തിനു നായകനില്ല; ഓരോരുത്തനും സമാധാനത്തോടെ ഭവനങ്ങളിലേക്കു പോകട്ടെ’ എന്ന് യഹോവ കൽപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.”
and to say to see: see [obj] all Israel to scatter to(wards) [the] mountain: mount like/as flock which nothing to/for them to pasture and to say LORD not lord to/for these to return: return man: anyone to/for house: home his in/on/with peace
18 അപ്പോൾ, ഇസ്രായേൽരാജാവായ ആഹാബ് യെഹോശാഫാത്തിനോട്: “ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ച് ദോഷമായതല്ലാതെ നന്മയായുള്ളത് യാതൊന്നും പ്രവചിക്കുകയില്ലെന്ന് ഞാൻ അങ്ങയോടു പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ലേ?” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
and to say king Israel to(wards) Jehoshaphat not to say to(wards) you not to prophesy upon me pleasant that if: except if: except bad: evil
19 മീഖായാവു തുടർന്നു പറഞ്ഞത്: “എന്നാൽ, യഹോവയുടെ വാക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക. യഹോവ തന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിലിരിക്കുന്നതും തന്റെ സകലസ്വർഗീയസൈന്യവും അവിടത്തെ വലത്തും ഇടത്തുമായി ചുറ്റും അണിനിരന്നുനിൽക്കുന്നതും ഞാൻ ദർശിച്ചു.
and to say to/for so to hear: hear word LORD to see: see [obj] LORD to dwell upon throne his and all army [the] heaven to stand: stand upon him from right his and from left his
20 അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ, ‘ആഹാബ് ഗിലെയാദിലെ രാമോത്തിൽച്ചെന്ന്, യുദ്ധത്തിൽ വധിക്കപ്പെടുംവിധം അതിനെ ആക്രമിക്കുന്നതിലേക്ക് ആര് അവനെ പ്രലോഭിപ്പിക്കും?’ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. “ചിലർ ഇത്തരത്തിലും മറ്റുചിലർ മറ്റൊരുതരത്തിലും തങ്ങളുടെ അഭിപ്രായം പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചു.
and to say LORD who? to entice [obj] Ahab and to ascend: rise and to fall: kill in/on/with Ramoth Gilead and to say this in/on/with thus and this to say in/on/with thus
21 എന്നാൽ, അവസാനം ഒരാത്മാവ് മുൻപോട്ടുവന്നു യഹോവയുടെമുമ്പിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് ഇപ്രകാരം പറഞ്ഞു: ‘ഞാൻ അവനെ പ്രലോഭിപ്പിക്കും.’

22 “‘ഏതുവിധം?’ എന്ന് യഹോവ ചോദിച്ചു. “‘ഞാൻ പുറപ്പെട്ട് അയാളുടെ സകലപ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെയും അധരങ്ങളിൽ വ്യാജത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കും,’ എന്ന് ആ ആത്മാവ് മറുപടി നൽകി.” അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ: “‘അവനെ വശീകരിക്കുന്നതിൽ നീ വിജയിക്കും; നീ പോയി അപ്രകാരം ചെയ്യുക!’ എന്നു കൽപ്പിച്ചു.

23 “അങ്ങനെ, യഹോവ ഇപ്പോൾ നിന്റെ ഈ പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെയെല്ലാം അധരങ്ങളിൽ വ്യാജത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. യഹോവ നിനക്കു നാശം നിർണയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.”
and now behold to give: put LORD spirit deception in/on/with lip all prophet your these and LORD to speak: promise upon you distress: harm
24 അപ്പോൾ, കെനയനയുടെ മകനായ സിദെക്കീയാവ് മുൻപോട്ടുചെന്ന് മീഖായാവിന്റെ മുഖത്തടിച്ചു. “യഹോവയുടെ ആത്മാവ് എന്നെവിട്ടു നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കാൻ ഏതുവഴിയായി വന്നു?” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
and to approach: approach Zedekiah son: child Chenaanah and to smite [obj] Micaiah upon [the] jaw and to say where? this to pass spirit LORD from with me to/for to speak: speak with you
25 “ഒരു രഹസ്യ അറയിൽ ഒളിക്കാൻ പോകുന്നനാളിൽ നീ അതു കണ്ടെത്തും,” എന്നു മീഖായാവു മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു.

26 അതിനുശേഷം ഇസ്രായേൽരാജാവ്: “‘മീഖായാവിനെ നഗരാധിപനായ ആമോന്റെയും രാജകുമാരനായ യോവാശിന്റെയും അടുക്കൽ തിരികെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുക.

27 അവനെ കാരാഗൃഹത്തിലടയ്ക്കുകയും ഞാൻ സുരക്ഷിതനായി മടങ്ങിവരുന്നതുവരെ അപ്പവും വെള്ളവുംമാത്രം കൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക എന്നതാണ് രാജാവിന്റെ ഉത്തരവ്,’ എന്ന് അവനോടു പറയുക” എന്ന് ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചു.

28 അപ്പോൾ മീഖായാവ്, “അങ്ങു സുരക്ഷിതനായി മടങ്ങിവരുമെങ്കിൽ യഹോവ എന്നിലൂടെ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല” എന്നു മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു. “ഈ ജനമെല്ലാം, എന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കുറിച്ചിട്ടുകൊള്ളട്ടെ!” എന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.

29 അങ്ങനെ, ഇസ്രായേൽരാജാവായ ആഹാബും യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഹോശാഫാത്തും ഗിലെയാദിലെ രാമോത്തിനെതിരേ യുദ്ധത്തിനായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു.

30 ഇസ്രായേൽരാജാവ് യെഹോശാഫാത്തിനോട്: “ഞാൻ വേഷപ്രച്ഛന്നനായി യുദ്ധത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കട്ടെ; എന്നാൽ, അങ്ങ് രാജകീയ വേഷം ധരിച്ചാലും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ, ഇസ്രായേൽരാജാവ് വേഷപ്രച്ഛന്നനായി യുദ്ധരംഗത്തു പ്രവേശിച്ചു.

31 എന്നാൽ, “ഇസ്രായേൽരാജാവിനോടല്ലാതെ ചെറിയവനോ വലിയവനോ ആയ മറ്റൊരുത്തനോടും യുദ്ധംചെയ്യരുത്” എന്ന് അരാംരാജാവ് തന്റെ മുപ്പത്തിരണ്ടു രഥനായകന്മാർക്ക് ആജ്ഞ നൽകിയിരുന്നു.

33 അത് ഇസ്രായേൽരാജാവല്ല എന്നു രഥനായകന്മാർ ഗ്രഹിക്കുകയും അവർ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പിൻതുടരുന്നത് അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

34 എന്നാൽ, ഏതോ ഒരു അരാമ്യപടയാളി യാദൃച്ഛികമായി വില്ലുകുലച്ച് ഇസ്രായേൽരാജാവിന്റെ കവചത്തിന്റെ വിടവുകൾക്കിടയിൽ എയ്തു. “രഥം തിരിച്ച് എന്നെ യുദ്ധക്കളത്തിനു വെളിയിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോകുക; എനിക്കു സാരമായി മുറിവേറ്റിരിക്കുന്നു,” എന്നു രാജാവു തന്റെ തേരാളിയോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചു.

37 അങ്ങനെ, ഇസ്രായേൽരാജാവു മരിച്ചു; അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മൃതശരീരം ശമര്യയിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന് അവിടെ അടക്കംചെയ്തു.
and to die [the] king and to come (in): come Samaria and to bury [obj] [the] king in/on/with Samaria
38 ആഹാബിന്റെ രഥം വേശ്യാസ്ത്രീകൾ കുളിക്കാറുള്ള ശമര്യയിലെ ഒരു കുളത്തിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി കഴുകി. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടുപോലെതന്നെ, അന്നു നായ്ക്കൾ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ രക്തം നക്കിത്തുടച്ചു.

39 ആഹാബിന്റെ ജീവിതകാലത്തെ മറ്റുസംഭവങ്ങളും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തികളും ദന്തം പതിച്ച അരമന, പുനർനിർമിച്ച നഗരങ്ങൾ, ഇവയെക്കുറിച്ചെല്ലാം ഇസ്രായേൽരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ ചരിത്രഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങളിൽ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടില്ലേ?
