1 ഇസ്രായേലിലെ കുടുംബത്തലവന്മാരുടെയും സഹസ്രാധിപന്മാരുടെയും ശതാധിപന്മാരുടെയും അവരുടെ അധിപതിമാരുടെയും പേരുവിവരപ്പട്ടിക: മാസംതോറും തവണവെച്ച് ആണ്ടുമുഴുവൻ കൃത്യനിരതരായിരുന്ന സേനാഗണങ്ങളോടു ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് അവർ രാജാവിനെ സേവിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഈ ഗണങ്ങൾ ഓരോന്നിനും 24,000 ഭടന്മാർവീതം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

And [these are] the children of Israel after their number; [to wit, ] the chiefs of the family divisions and the captains of the thousands and the hundreds, and their officers that served the king in every matter of the divisions, that came in and went out month by month, throughout all the months of the year, every division being twenty and four thousand.

Over the first division for the first month was Jashob'am the son of Zabdiel; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.

3 അദ്ദേഹം ഫേരെസ്സിന്റെ പിൻഗാമിയും ഒന്നാംമാസത്തേക്കുള്ള സൈന്യാധിപന്മാർക്കെല്ലാം അധിപതിയും ആയിരുന്നു.

[He] of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the armies for the first month.

4 അഹോഹ്യനായ ദോദായി രണ്ടാംമാസത്തേക്കുള്ള രണ്ടാംഗണത്തിന്റെ അധിപനായിരുന്നു. ആ ഗണത്തിന്റെ നായകനായിരുന്നു മിക്ലോത്ത്. ആ ഗണത്തിലും 24,000 പടയാളികളുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

And over the division of the second month was Dodai the Achochite, and of his division was Mikloth also the ruler; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.

5 മൂന്നാംമാസത്തേക്കുള്ള മൂന്നാം സൈന്യാധിപൻ പുരോഹിതനായ യെഹോയാദായുടെ മകൻ ബെനായാവ് ആയിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം അധിപനായുള്ള ആ ഗണത്തിലും 24,000 പടയാളികളുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

The third captain of the army for the third month was Benayahu the son of Jehoyada', the priest, the chief; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.

6 മുപ്പതു പ്രബലന്മാരിൽ ഒരുവനും അവരുടെ നായകനുമായ ബെനായാവ് ഇദ്ദേഹംതന്നെ. ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കാലശേഷം മകൻ അമ്മീസാബാദ് ആ ഗണത്തിന്റെ നായകനായിരുന്നു.

This Benayahu was the mighty among the thirty, and [set] over the thirty'; and of his division was 'Ammizabad his son.

7 നാലാംമാസത്തേക്കുള്ള നാലാമൻ യോവാബിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അസാഹേൽ ആയിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മകൻ സെബദ്യാവ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പിൻഗാമിയായിത്തീർന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലും 24,000 പടയാളികളുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

The fourth for the fourth month was 'Assahel the brother of Joab, with Zebadyah his son after him; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.

8 അഞ്ചാംമാസത്തേക്കുള്ള അഞ്ചാമൻ യിസ്രാഹ്യനായ ശംഹൂത്ത് എന്ന സൈന്യാധിപനായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലും 24,000 പടയാളികളുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

The fifth for the fifth month was the captain Shamhuth the Yizrachite; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.

9 ആറാംമാസത്തേക്കുള്ള ആറാമൻ തെക്കോവ്യനായ ഇക്കേശിന്റെ മകൻ ഈരാ ആയിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലും 24,000 പടയാളികളുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

The sixth for the sixth month was 'Ira the son of 'Ikkesh the Theko'ite; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.

10 ഏഴാംമാസത്തേക്കുള്ള ഏഴാമൻ എഫ്രയീമ്യരിൽ പെലോന്യനായ ഹേലെസ് ആയിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലും 24,000 പടയാളികൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

The seventh for the seventh month was Chelez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.

11 എട്ടാംമാസത്തേക്കുള്ള എട്ടാമൻ സേരഹ്യരിൽ ഹൂശാത്യനായ സിബ്ബെഖായി ആയിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലും 24,000 പടയാളികൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

The eighth for the eighth month was Sibbechai the Chushathite, of the Zarchites: and in his division were twenty and four thousand.

12 ഒൻപതാംമാസത്തേക്കുള്ള ഒൻപതാമൻ ബെന്യാമീന്യരിൽ അനാഥോത്യനായ അബിയേസെർ ആയിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലും 24,000 പടയാളികൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

The ninth for the ninth month was Abi'ezer the 'Anthothite, of Benjamin; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.

13 പത്താംമാസത്തേക്കുള്ള പത്താമൻ സേരഹ്യരിൽ നെതോഫാത്യനായ മഹരായി ആയിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലും 24,000 പടയാളികൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

The tenth for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarchites; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.

14 പതിനൊന്നാംമാസത്തേക്കുള്ള പതിനൊന്നാമൻ എഫ്രയീമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ പിരാഥോന്യനായ ബെനായാവ് ആയിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലും 24,000 പടയാളികൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

The eleventh for the eleventh month was Benayah the Pir'athonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.

15 പന്ത്രണ്ടാംമാസത്തേക്കുള്ള പന്ത്രണ്ടാമൻ നെതോഫാത്യനായ ഹെൽദായി ആയിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം ഒത്നിയേലിന്റെ കുടുംബക്കാരൻ ആയിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലും 24,000 പടയാളികൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

The twelfth for the twelfth month was Cheldai the Netophathite, of 'Othniel; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.

16 ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഗോത്രങ്ങൾക്ക് അധിപന്മാർ: രൂബേന്യർക്ക് അധിപൻ: സിക്രിയുടെ മകനായ എലീയേസർ. ശിമെയോന്യർക്ക് അധിപൻ: മയഖായുടെ മകനായ ശെഫത്യാവ്.

Moreover over the tribes of Israel: Of the Reubenites was ruler Eli'ezer the son of Zichri; of the Simeonites, Shephatyahu the son of Ma'achah;

17 ലേവിഗോത്രത്തിന്: കെമൂവേലിന്റെ മകനായ ഹശബ്യാവ്. അഹരോന്യർക്ക്: സാദോക്ക്.

Of the Levites, Chashabyah the son of Kamuel; of [the sons of] Aaron, Zadok;

18 യെഹൂദയ്ക്ക്: ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സഹോദരനായ എലീഹൂ. യിസ്സാഖാറിന്: മീഖായേലിന്റെ മകൻ ഒമ്രി.

Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brothers of David; of Issachar, 'Omri the son of Michael;

19 സെബൂലൂന്: ഓബദ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ യിശ്മയ്യാവ്. നഫ്താലിക്ക്: അസ്രീയേലിന്റെ മകൻ യെരീമോത്ത്.

Of Zebulun, Yishma'yahu the son of 'Obadyahu; of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of 'Azriel;

20 എഫ്രയീമ്യർക്ക്: അസസ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ ഹോശേയാ. മനശ്ശെയുടെ അർധഗോത്രത്തിന്: പെദായാവിന്റെ മകൻ യോവേൽ.

Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea, the son of 'Azazyahu; of the half tribe of Menasseh, Joel the son of Pedayahu;

21 മനശ്ശെയുടെ, ഗിലെയാദിലുള്ള അർധഗോത്രത്തിന്: സെഖര്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ യിദ്ദോ. ബെന്യാമീൻഗോത്രത്തിന്: അബ്നേരിന്റെ മകൻ യാസീയേൽ.

Of the half tribe of Menasseh in Gil'ad, Yiddo the son of Zecharyahu; of Benjamin, 'Ja'assiel the son of Abner;

22 ദാൻഗോത്രത്തിന്: യെരോഹാമിന്റെ മകനായ അസരെയേൽ. ഇവരായിരുന്നു ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഗോത്രങ്ങൾക്ക് അധിപന്മാർ.

Of Dan, 'Azarel the son of Jerocham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.

23 ഇസ്രായേലിനെ ആകാശത്തിലെ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ അസംഖ്യമാക്കിത്തീർക്കുമെന്ന് യഹോവ വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തിരുന്നതിനാൽ ദാവീദ് ഇരുപതു വയസ്സും അതിൽ താഴെയും പ്രായമുള്ളവരുടെ എണ്ണം എടുത്തില്ല.

But David took not their number from twenty years old and under; because the Lord had said he would multiply Israel like the stars of the heavens.

24 സെരൂയയുടെ മകനായ യോവാബ് ജനസംഖ്യ എടുക്കാൻ ആരംഭിച്ചെങ്കിലും അതു പൂർത്തീകരിച്ചില്ല. ഈ സംഖ്യയെടുക്കൽമൂലം യഹോവയുടെ കോപം ഇസ്രായേലിന്മേൽ വന്നു. അതിനാൽ കണക്കെടുത്ത സംഖ്യ ദാവീദുരാജാവിന്റെ ചരിത്രഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങളിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയതുമില്ല.

Joab the son of Zeruyah began to number [them]; but he finished not, and there came wrath because of it against Israel: and the number was not entered in the account of the chronicles of king David.

25 അദീയേലിന്റെ മകനായ അസ്മാവെത്ത് രാജഭണ്ഡാരങ്ങൾക്കു ചുമതലക്കാരനായിരുന്നു. ഉസ്സീയാവിന്റെ മകനായ യെഹോനാഥാനായിരുന്നു രാജധാനിക്കു പുറത്തുള്ള സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലെ നിലങ്ങളിലും നഗരങ്ങളിലും ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലും കോട്ടകളിലുമുള്ള ഭണ്ഡാരങ്ങളുടെ അധികാരി.

And over the king's treasures was 'Azmaveth the son of 'Adiel; and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of 'Uzziyahu.

26 ദേശത്തു കൃഷിചെയ്തിരുന്ന കൃഷിപ്പണിക്കാരുടെ ചുമതലക്കാരൻ കെലൂബിന്റെ മകനായ എസ്രി ആയിരുന്നു.

And over those that did the work of the field, in the tillage of the ground, was 'Ezri the son of Kelub.

27 മുന്തിരിത്തോപ്പുകൾക്ക് രാമാത്യനായ ശിമെയി ചുമതലക്കാരൻ ആയിരുന്നു. മുന്തിരിത്തോപ്പുകളിലെ ഉല്പന്നമായ വീഞ്ഞു സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്ന നിലവറകൾക്ക് ശിഫ്മ്യനായ സബ്ദി മേൽവിചാരകനായിരുന്നു.

And over the vineyards was Shim'i the Ramathite; and over what was in the vineyards, as regardeth the supplies of wine, was Zabdi the Shiphmite.

28 ഒലിവുവൃക്ഷങ്ങൾക്കും കാട്ടത്തികൾക്കും പടിഞ്ഞാറുള്ള കുന്നിൻപ്രദേശങ്ങൾക്കും ഗെദേര്യനായ ബാൽ-ഹാനാനും എണ്ണ സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്ന നിലവറകൾക്കു യോവാശും മേൽവിചാരകരായിരുന്നു.

And over the olive-trees and the sycamore-trees that were in the lowlands was Ba'al-chanan the Gederite: and over the supplies of oil was Jo'ash.

29 ശാരോനിൽ മേയുന്ന കന്നുകാലികൾക്ക് ശാരോത്യനായ ശിത്രായിയും താഴ്വരയിലെ കന്നുകാലികൾക്ക് അദ്‌ലായിയുടെ മകനായ ശാഫാത്തും മേൽവിചാരകരായിരുന്നു.

And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite; and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of 'Adlai.

30 ഒട്ടകങ്ങൾക്ക് യിശ്മായേല്യനായ ഓബീലും കഴുതകൾക്ക് മെരോനോത്യനായ യെഹ്ദേയാവും മേൽവിചാരകരായിരുന്നു.

And over the camels was Obil the Ishma'elite; and over the she-asses was Yechdeyahu the Meronothite.

31 ആടുകൾക്ക് ഹഗ്രീയിമ്യനായ യസീസ് മേൽവിചാരകനായിരുന്നു. ദാവീദ് രാജാവിന്റെ വസ്തുവകകൾക്ക് ഇവരെല്ലാം അധിപതിമാരായിരുന്നു.

And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerene. All these were the rulers of the property which belonged to king David.

32 ദാവീദിന്റെ പിതൃസഹോദരനായ യോനാഥാൻ ക്രാന്തദർശിയും വേദജ്ഞനുമായ ഒരു ഉപദേഷ്ടാവായിരുന്നു. ഹഖ്മോനിയുടെ മകനായ യെഹീയേൽ രാജകുമാരന്മാരെ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നവനായിരുന്നു.

Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counsellor, being a man of understanding and acquainted with law; and Jeshiel the son of Chachmoni was with the king's sons;

33 അഹീഥോഫെൽ രാജാവിന്റെ ഉപദേഷ്ടാവും അർഖ്യവംശജനായ ഹൂശായി രാജാവിന്റെ ഉറ്റമിത്രവും ആയിരുന്നു.

And Achithophel was the king's counsellor; and Chushai the Arkite was the king's friend;

34 ബെനായാവിന്റെ മകനായ യെഹോയാദായും അബ്യാഥാരും അഹീഥോഫെലിനുശേഷം രാജാവിന്റെ ഉപദേശകരായി. യോവാബ് രാജാവിന്റെ സൈന്യാധിപൻ ആയിരുന്നു.

And after Achithophel [came] Jehoyada' the son of Benayahu and Ebyathar; and the captain of the king's army was Joab.
