1 ദ്വാരപാലകരുടെ ഗണങ്ങൾ: കോരഹ്യരിൽനിന്ന്: ആസാഫിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിലൊരാളായ കോരേയുടെ മകൻ മെശേലെമ്യാവ്.

For the divisions of the gatekeepers, of the Korahites: Meshelemiah son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph;

2 മെശേലെമ്യാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ആദ്യജാതനായ സെഖര്യാവ്, രണ്ടാമനായ യെദീയയേൽ, മൂന്നാമനായ സെബദ്യാവ്, നാലാമനായ യത്നീയേൽ,

and sons of Meshelemiah: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,

3 അഞ്ചാമനായ ഏലാം, ആറാമനായ യെഹോഹാനാൻ, ഏഴാമനായ എല്യോഹോവേനായി.

Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.

4 ഓബേദ്-ഏദോമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും ദ്വാരപാലകഗണത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു: ആദ്യജാതനായ ശെമയ്യാവ്, രണ്ടാമനായ യെഹോസാബാദ്, മൂന്നാമനായ യോവാഹ്, നാലാമനായ സാഖാർ, അഞ്ചാമനായ നെഥനയേൽ,

And moreover, sons of Obed-Edom: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth,

5 ആറാമനായ അമ്മീയേൽ, ഏഴാമനായ യിസ്സാഖാർ, എട്ടാമനായ പെയൂലെഥായി. (ദൈവം ഓബേദ്-ഏദോമിനെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചിരുന്നു.)

Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth, for God has blessed him.

6 ഓബേദ്-ഏദോമിന്റെ മകനായ ശെമയ്യാവിനും പുത്രന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവർ പരാക്രമശാലികളായിരുന്നതിനാൽ തങ്ങളുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്കു നായകന്മാരായിരുന്നു.

And sons have been born to his son Shemaiah, who are ruling throughout the house of their father, for they [are] mighty men of valor.

7 ശെമയ്യാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഒത്നി, രഫായേൽ, ഓബേദ്, എൽസാബാദ്. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ബന്ധുക്കാരായ എലീഹൂ, സെമഖ്യാവ് എന്നിവരും കഴിവുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു.

Sons of Shemaiah: Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, [and] Elzabad; his brothers Elihu and Semachiah [are] sons of valor.

8 ഇവരെല്ലാം ഓബേദ്-ഏദോമിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികളായിരുന്നു. അവരും അവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാരും ബന്ധുക്കളും ശുശ്രൂഷയിൽ നിപുണന്മാരായിരുന്നു. ഓബേദ്-ഏദോമിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികൾ ആകെ അറുപത്തിരണ്ടുപേർ.

All these [are] of the sons of Obed-Edom; they, and their sons, and their brothers, men of valor with might for service—sixty-two of Obed-Edom.

9 മെശേലെമ്യാവിനും കഴിവുറ്റവരായ പുത്രന്മാരും ബന്ധുക്കളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവർ ആകെ പതിനെട്ടുപേർ.

And sons and brothers of Meshelemiah, sons of valor—eighteen;

10 മെരാര്യനായ ഹോസയ്ക്കും പുത്രന്മാരുണ്ടായിരുന്നു: ഒന്നാമനായ ശിമ്രി. അദ്ദേഹം ആദ്യജാതനായിരുന്നില്ല. എന്നിട്ടും പിതാവായ ഹോസ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ഒന്നാമനായി അവരോധിച്ചു.

and of Hosah, of the sons of Merari, [are these] sons: Shimri the head (though he was not firstborn, yet his father sets him for head),

11 രണ്ടാമനായ ഹിൽക്കിയാവ്, മൂന്നാമനായ തെബല്യാവ്, നാലാമനായ സെഖര്യാവ്. ഹോസയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരും ബന്ധുക്കളുമായി ആകെ പതിമ്മൂന്നുപേർ.

Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth; all the sons and brothers of Hosah—thirteen.

12 ഈ ദ്വാരപാലകഗണങ്ങൾക്ക് അവരുടെ ബന്ധുക്കൾക്ക് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതുപോലെതന്നെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷകൾക്കുള്ള ചുമതലയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഈ ചുമതലകൾ ഗണങ്ങളുടെ തലവന്മാർ മുഖാന്തരം നിർണയിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.

For these [are] the divisions of the gatekeepers, of the heads of the mighty ones, [with] charges just as their brothers, to minister in the house of YHWH,

13 ഓരോ കവാടത്തിലെയും കാവൽ ചുമതല നറുക്കിട്ടു നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. കുടുംബങ്ങളുടെ ക്രമമനുസരിച്ചും ചെറുപ്പക്കാർക്കും മുതിർന്നവർക്കും ഒരുപോലെയും ആ ചുമതല നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.

and they cause lots to fall, the small as well as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate.

14 കിഴക്കേ കവാടത്തിനുള്ള നറുക്ക് ശെലെമ്യാവിന് വീണു. അതിനുശേഷം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മകനും വിവേകശാലിയായ ഉപദേഷ്ടാവുമായ സെഖര്യാവിനുവേണ്ടി നറുക്കിട്ടു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് വടക്കേ കവാടത്തിനുള്ള നറുക്കുവീണു.

And the lot falls eastward to Shelemiah; and [for] his son Zechariah, a counselor with understanding, they cause lots to fall, and his lot goes out northward;

15 തെക്കേ കവാടത്തിനുള്ള നറുക്ക് ഓബേദ്-ഏദോമിനു വീണു. സംഭരണശാലയ്ക്കുള്ള നറുക്ക് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർക്കും വീണു.

to Obed-Edom southward, and to his sons, the house of the gatherings;

16 പടിഞ്ഞാറേ കവാടത്തിലും കയറ്റത്തിലെ ശല്ലേ-ഖെത്ത് കവാടത്തിലും കാവലിനുള്ള നറുക്കുകൾ ശൂപ്പീമിനും ഹോസെക്കിനും വീണു. കാവൽക്കാർ, ഒരാൾ മറ്റൊരാളുടെ അരികത്തായി കാവൽ ചെയ്തിരുന്നു:

to Shuppim and to Hosah to the west, with Shallecheth Gate, in the highway, the ascent, watch next to watch;

17 ദിവസംമുഴുവനും കിഴക്കേകവാടത്തിൽ ആറു ലേവ്യരും വടക്കേ കവാടത്തിൽ നാലും തെക്കേ കവാടത്തിൽ നാലും ഭണ്ഡാരഗൃഹത്തിങ്കൽ ഒരേസമയം ഈരണ്ടുപേരും കാവൽ നിന്നിരുന്നു.

to the east [are] six Levites, to the north [are] four each day, to the south [are] four each day, and for the gatherings, two by two;

18 ദൈവാലയാങ്കണത്തിനു പടിഞ്ഞാറുള്ള വഴിയിൽ നാലുപേരും അങ്കണത്തിൽ രണ്ടുപേരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

at Parbar, to the west, [are] four at the highway, two at Parbar.

19 കോരഹിന്റെയും മെരാരിയുടെയും പിൻഗാമികളായ ദ്വാരപാലകഗണങ്ങൾ ഇവരായിരുന്നു.

These are the divisions of the gatekeepers, of the sons of the Korahite, and of the sons of Merari.

20 അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ മറ്റു ലേവ്യർ ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ ഭണ്ഡാരപ്പുരകളുടെയും വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കൾ സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ഭണ്ഡാരപ്പുരകളുടെയും ചുമതലക്കാരായിരുന്നു.

And of the Levites, Ahijah [is] over the treasures of the house of God, even for the treasures of the holy things.

21 ലദ്ദാന്റെ പിൻഗാമികൾ—ഗെർശോനിലൂടെയാണ് ഇവർ ലയെദാന്റെ സന്തതികളായത്—ഗെർശോന്യനായ ലദ്ദാന്റെ കുടുംബങ്ങൾക്കെല്ലാം തലവന്മാരും ആയിരുന്ന യെഹീയേലും,

Sons of Laadan, sons of the Gershonite, of Laadan, heads of the fathers of Laadan the Gershonite: Jehieli.

22 യെഹീയേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും സേഥാമും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സഹോദരൻ യോവേലും. അവർ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ ഭണ്ഡാരങ്ങളുടെ ചുമതല വഹിച്ചിരുന്നു.

Sons of Jehieli: Zetham and his brother Joel, over the treasures of the house of YHWH.

23 അമ്രാമ്യർ, യിസ്ഹാര്യർ, ഹെബ്രോന്യർ, ഉസ്സീയേല്യർ എന്നിവരെ സംബന്ധിച്ച വിവരങ്ങൾ:

Of the Amramite, of the Izharite, of the Hebronite, of [the] Uzzielite—

24 മോശയുടെ മകനായ ഗെർശോമിന്റെ ഒരു പിൻഗാമിയായ ശെബൂവേൽ ഭണ്ഡാരങ്ങളുടെ മുഖ്യഅധികാരിയായിരുന്നു.

and Shebuel son of Gershom, son of Moses, [is] president over the treasures.

25 എലീയേസർവഴി അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ബന്ധുജനങ്ങളായവർ: എലീയേസരിന്റെ മകൻ രെഹബ്യാവ്, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മകൻ യെശയ്യാവ്, യെശയ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ യോരാം, യോരാമിന്റെ മകൻ സിക്രി, സിക്രിയുടെ മകൻ ശെലോമോത്ത്.

And his brothers, of Eliezer: Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.

26 ദാവീദ് രാജാവും സഹസ്രാധിപന്മാരും ശതാധിപന്മാരുമായ കുടുംബത്തലവന്മാരും മറ്റു സൈന്യാധിപന്മാരും സമർപ്പിച്ചിരുന്ന വസ്തുക്കളുടെ ഭണ്ഡാരങ്ങൾക്ക് ശെലോമോത്തും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ബന്ധുക്കളും ചുമതലക്കാരായിരുന്നു.

This Shelomith and his brothers [are] over all the treasures of the holy things that David the king, and heads of the fathers, even heads of thousands, and of hundreds, and heads of the host, sanctified;

27 യുദ്ധത്തിൽ പിടിച്ചെടുത്ത കൊള്ളമുതലുകളിൽ ചിലത് അവർ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ അറ്റകുറ്റപ്പണികൾക്കായി സമർപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.

from the battles and from the spoil, they sanctified to strengthen the house of YHWH;

28 ദർശകനായ ശമുവേലും കീശിന്റെ മകനായ ശൗലും നേരിന്റെ മകനായ അബ്നേരും സെരൂയയുടെ മകനായ യോവാബും സമർപ്പിച്ചിരുന്ന വസ്തുക്കളും സകലസമർപ്പിതവസ്തുക്കളും ശെലോമീത്തിന്റെയും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ബന്ധുക്കളുടെയും സൂക്ഷിപ്പിലായിരുന്നു.

and all that Samuel the seer, and Saul son of Kish, and Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah sanctified, everyone sanctifying [anything—it is] by the side of Shelomith and his brothers.

29 യിസ്ഹാര്യരിൽനിന്ന്: കെനന്യാവും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും ദൈവാലയത്തിനു വെളിയിൽ ഇസ്രായേലിന് അധികാരികളും ന്യായാധിപന്മാരും ആയിരുന്നു.

Of the Izharite, Chenaniah and his sons [are] for the outward work over Israel, for officers and for judges.

30 ഹെബ്രോന്യരിൽനിന്ന്: ഹശബ്യാവും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ബന്ധുക്കളും ആയി ആയിരത്തി എഴുനൂറു പ്രഗൽഭന്മാർ ഇസ്രായേലിൽ യോർദാൻനദിക്കു പടിഞ്ഞാറ് യഹോവയുടെ എല്ലാ ശുശ്രൂഷകൾക്കും രാജസേവനത്തിനും ചുമതലപ്പെട്ടവരായി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

Of the Hebronite, Hashabiah and his brothers, one thousand and seven hundred sons of valor, [are] over the inspection of Israel, beyond the Jordan westward, for all the work of YHWH, and for the service of the king.

31 ഹെബ്രോന്യരുടെ കുടുംബപരമായ വംശാവലിരേഖകൾ അനുസരിച്ച് യെരീയാവായിരുന്നു ഹെബ്രോന്യരുടെ തലവൻ. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഭരണത്തിന്റെ നാൽപ്പതാമാണ്ടിൽ രേഖകൾവെച്ചു നടത്തിയ അന്വേഷണത്തിൽ ഗിലെയാദിലെ യാസേരിൽ പ്രാപ്തരായ ചില ഹെബ്രോന്യരെ കണ്ടെത്തി.

Of the Hebronite, Jerijah [is] the head of the Hebronite, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they have been sought out, and there are found among them mighty men of valor, in Jazer of Gilead—

and his brothers, two thousand and seven hundred sons of valor, [are] heads of the fathers, and King David appoints them over the Reubenite, and the Gadite, and the half of the tribe of the Manassite, for every matter of God and matter of the king.
