1 ദിനവൃത്താന്തം 24
1 അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഗണങ്ങൾ ഇവരായിരുന്നു: നാദാബ്, അബീഹൂ, എലെയാസാർ, ഈഥാമാർ എന്നിവർ അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായിരുന്നു.
Now the divisions into which the sons of Aaron were grouped were these: the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
2 എന്നാൽ നാദാബും അബീഹൂവും അവരുടെ പിതാവിനു മുമ്പുതന്നെ മരിച്ചുപോയിരുന്നു; അവർക്കു പുത്രന്മാരും ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു. അതിനാൽ എലെയാസാരും ഈഥാമാറും പുരോഹിതന്മാരായി ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്തു.
But Nadab and Abihu came to their end before their father, and had no children; so Eleazar and Ithamar did the work of priests.
3 എലെയാസാരിന്റെ ഒരു പിൻഗാമിയായ സാദോക്കിന്റെയും ഈഥാമാരിന്റെ ഒരു പിൻഗാമിയായ അഹീമെലെക്കിന്റെയും സഹായത്തോടെ ദാവീദ് അവരെ, അവരുടെ നിർദിഷ്ട ക്രമമനുസരിച്ചുള്ള ശുശ്രൂഷകൾക്കായി, ഗണങ്ങളാക്കിത്തിരിച്ചു.
And David, with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, made distribution of them into their positions for their work.
4 ഈഥാമാരിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികളിലുള്ളതിനെക്കാൾ വളരെക്കൂടുതൽ നേതാക്കന്മാർ എലെയാസാരിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികളിൽ ഉള്ളതായിക്കണ്ടു. അതുപ്രകാരംതന്നെ അവരെ ഗണങ്ങളാക്കിത്തിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു: എലെയാസാരിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികളിൽനിന്നു പതിനാറു കുടുംബത്തലവന്മാരും ഈഥാമാരിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികളിൽനിന്ന് എട്ടു കുടുംബത്തലവന്മാരും ആയി അവരെ വിഭാഗിച്ചു.
And there were more chiefs among the sons of Eleazar than among the sons of Ithamar; and this is how they were grouped: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen, all heads of families; and of the sons of Ithamar, heads of families, there were eight.
5 എലെയാസാർ, ഈഥാമാർ, ഇരുവരുടെയും പിൻഗാമികളിൽ വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തിലെ അധികാരികളും ദൈവത്താൽ നിയുക്തരായ അധികാരികളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതിനാൽ പക്ഷഭേദംകൂടാതെ നറുക്കിട്ടാണ് അവരെ ഗണം തിരിച്ചത്.
So they were put into groups, by the Lord's decision, one with another; for there were rulers of the holy place and rulers of the house of God among the sons of Eleazar and the sons of Ithamar.
6 എലെയാസാരിന്റെ ശാഖയിൽനിന്ന് ഒന്നും പിന്നെ ഈഥാമാരിന്റെ ശാഖയിൽനിന്ന് മറ്റൊന്നും എന്നക്രമത്തിൽ കുടുംബങ്ങൾ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ലേവ്യനും നെഥനയേലിന്റെ പുത്രനുമായ ശെമയ്യാ എന്ന വേദജ്ഞൻ ആ പേരുകൾ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി. രാജാവ്, പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ, സാദോക്കു പുരോഹിതൻ, അബ്യാഥാരിന്റെ മകനായ അഹീമെലെക്ക്, കുടുംബത്തലവന്മാർ, പുരോഹിതന്മാർ, ലേവ്യർ എന്നിവരുടെ സാന്നിധ്യത്തിലാണ് അവ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയത്.
And Shemaiah, the son of Nethanel the scribe, who was a Levite, put down their names in writing, the king being present with the rulers, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech, the son of Abiathar, and the heads of families of the priests and the Levites; one family being taken for Eleazar and then one for Ithamar, and so on.
7 ഒന്നാമത്തെ നറുക്ക് യെഹോയാരീബിനു വീണു. രണ്ടാമത്തേത് യെദായാവിനും.
Now the first name to come out was that of Jehoiarib; the second Jedaiah,
8 മൂന്നാമത്തേതു ഹാരീമിനും നാലാമത്തേതു ശെയോരീമിനും
The third Harim, the fourth Seorim,
9 അഞ്ചാമത്തേതു മൽക്കീയാവിനും ആറാമത്തേതു മീയാമിനും.
The fifth Malchijah, the sixth Mijamin,
10 ഏഴാമത്തേതു ഹക്കോസിനും എട്ടാമത്തേത് അബീയാവിനും
The seventh Hakkoz, the eighth Abijah,
11 ഒൻപതാമത്തേതു യേശുവയ്ക്കും പത്താമത്തേതു ശെഖന്യാവിനും
The ninth Jeshua, the tenth Shecaniah,
12 പതിനൊന്നാമത്തേത് എല്യാശീബിനും പന്ത്രണ്ടാമത്തേതു യാക്കീമിനും
The eleventh Eliashib, the twelfth Jakim,
13 പതിമ്മൂന്നാമത്തേതു ഹുപ്പെക്കും പതിന്നാലാമത്തേതു യേശെബെയാമിനും
The thirteenth Huppah, the fourteenth Jeshebeab,
14 പതിനഞ്ചാമത്തേതു ബിൽഗെക്കും പതിനാറാമത്തേത് ഇമ്മേരിനും
The fifteenth Bilgah, the sixteenth Immer,
15 പതിനേഴാമത്തേതു ഹേസീരിനും പതിനെട്ടാമത്തേതു ഹപ്പിസ്സേസിനും
The seventeenth Hezir, the eighteenth Happizzez,
16 പത്തൊൻപതാമത്തേതു പെഥഹ്യാവിനും ഇരുപതാമത്തേതു യെഹെസ്കേലിനും
The nineteenth Pethahiah, the twentieth Jehezkel,
17 ഇരുപത്തൊന്നാമത്തേതു യാഖീനും ഇരുപത്തിരണ്ടാമത്തേതു ഗാമൂലിനും
The twenty-first Jachin, the twenty-second Gamul,
18 ഇരുപത്തിമൂന്നാമത്തേതു ദെലായാവിനും ഇരുപത്തിനാലാമത്തേതു മയസ്യാവിനും വീണു.
The twenty-third Delaiah, the twenty-fourth Maaziah.
19 ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവരുടെ പൂർവപിതാവായ അഹരോനോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചതനുസരിച്ച്, അദ്ദേഹം അവർക്കായി നിർണയിച്ച അനുശാസനങ്ങൾ പ്രകാരം അവർ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവർക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്യുന്നതിനായി നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ട ക്രമവും ഇതുതന്നെ ആയിരുന്നു.
So they were put into their different groups, to take their places in the house of the Lord, in agreement with the rules made by Aaron their father, as the Lord, the God of Israel, had given him orders.

And of the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.
21 രെഹബ്യാവിൽനിന്ന്: അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ യിശ്ശീയാവ് ഒന്നാമനായിരുന്നു.
Of Rehabiah; of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah the chief.
22 യിസ്ഹാര്യരിൽനിന്ന്, ശെലോമോത്ത്. ശെലോമോത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽനിന്ന്, യഹത്ത്,
Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.
23 ഹെബ്രോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഒന്നാമൻ യെരീയാവ്, രണ്ടാമൻ അമര്യാവ്, മൂന്നാമൻ യഹസീയേൽ, നാലാമൻ യെക്കമെയാം.
And the sons of Hebron: Jeriah the chief, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
24 ഉസ്സീയേലിന്റെ പുത്രൻ: മീഖാ. മീഖായുടെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽനിന്ന്: ശമീർ.
The sons of Uzziel, Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir.
25 മീഖായുടെ സഹോദരൻ യിശ്ശീയാവ്. യിശ്ശീയാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽനിന്ന് സെഖര്യാവ്.
The brother of Micah, Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.
26 മെരാരിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: മഹ്ലി, മൂശി. യയസ്യാവിന്റെ പുത്രൻ ബെനോ.
The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; the sons of Jaaziah.
27 മെരാരിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യയസ്യാവിൽനിന്ന്: ബെനോ, ശോഹം, സക്കൂർ, ഇബ്രി.
The sons of Merari: of Jaaziah, Shoham and Zaccur and Ibri.
28 മഹ്ലിയിൽനിന്ന്: എലെയാസാർ, അദ്ദേഹത്തിനു പുത്രന്മാരില്ലായിരുന്നു.
Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
29 കീശിൽനിന്ന്: കീശിന്റെ പുത്രൻ, യെരഹ്മയേൽ.
Of Kish: the sons of Kish, Jerahmeel.
30 മൂശിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: മഹ്ലി, ഏദെർ, യെരീമോത്ത്. അവരുടെ കുടുംബക്രമമനുസരിച്ചുള്ള ലേവ്യർ ഇവരായിരുന്നു.
And the sons of Mushi: Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites by their families.
31 അവരും അഹരോന്റെ പിൻഗാമികളായ തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ദാവീദുരാജാവ്, സാദോക്ക്, അഹീമെലെക്ക്, പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ കുടുംബത്തലവന്മാർ, ലേവ്യർ എന്നിവരുടെ സാന്നിധ്യത്തിൽ നറുക്കിട്ടു. അതതു പിതൃഭവനത്തിൽ ഓരോ തലവനും തന്റെ ഇളയ സഹോദരനെപ്പോലെതന്നെ പരിഗണിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
Selection was made of these in the same way as of their brothers the sons of Aaron, David the king being present, with Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the heads of families of the priests and of the Levites; the families of the chief in the same way as those of his younger brother.
