1 ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ ഇവരായിരുന്നു: രൂബേൻ, ശിമെയോൻ, ലേവി, യെഹൂദാ, യിസ്സാഖാർ, സെബൂലൂൻ,
These [are] sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
2 ദാൻ, യോസേഫ്, ബെന്യാമീൻ, നഫ്താലി, ഗാദ്, ആശേർ.
Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3 യെഹൂദയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഏർ, ഓനാൻ, ശേലഹ് ഇവർ മൂവരും ശൂവായുടെ മകളായ ഒരു കനാന്യസ്ത്രീയിൽ ജനിച്ച പുത്രന്മാരായിരുന്നു. യെഹൂദയുടെ ആദ്യജാതനായ ഏർ യഹോവയുടെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ ദുഷ്ടനായിരുന്നു. അതിനാൽ യഹോവ അവനെ മരണത്തിന് ഏൽപ്പിച്ചു.
Sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, three have been born to him of a daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, firstborn of Judah, is evil in the eyes of YHWH, and He puts him to death.

And his daughter-in-law Tamar has borne Perez and Zerah to him. All the sons of Judah [are] five.
5 ഫേരെസ്സിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഹെസ്രോൻ, ഹാമൂൽ
Sons of Perez: Hezron, and Hamul.
6 സേരഹിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സിമ്രി, ഏഥാൻ, ഹേമാൻ, കൽക്കോൽ, ദാരാ—ആകെ അഞ്ചുപേർ.
And sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara; all of them five.

And sons of Carmi: Achar, troubler of Israel, who trespassed in the devoted thing.

And sons of Ethan: Azariah.
9 ഹെസ്രോനു ജനിച്ച പുത്രന്മാർ: യെരഹ്മയേൽ, രാം, കെലൂബായി.
And sons of Hezron who were born to him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
10 രാം അമ്മീനാദാബിന്റെ പിതാവായിരുന്നു. അമ്മീനാദാബ് യെഹൂദാജനതയുടെ നേതാവായ നഹശോന്റെ പിതാവും ആയിരുന്നു.
And Ram begot Amminadab, and Amminadab begot Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah;
11 നഹശോൻ ശല്മയുടെ പിതാവായിരുന്നു. ശല്മാ ബോവസിന്റെ പിതാവും.
and Nahshon begot Salma, and Salma begot Boaz,
12 ബോവസ് ഓബേദിന്റെ പിതാവും, ഓബേദ് യിശ്ശായിയുടെ പിതാവുമായിരുന്നു.
and Boaz begot Obed, and Obed begot Jesse;
13 യിശ്ശായി ആദ്യജാതനായ എലീയാബ്, രണ്ടാമൻ അബീനാദാബ്, മൂന്നാമൻ ശിമെയാ,
and Jesse begot his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third,

Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
15 ആറാമൻ ഓസെം, ഏഴാമൻ ദാവീദ്, എന്നിവരുടെ പിതാവായിരുന്നു.
Ozem the sixth, David the seventh,
16 സെരൂയയും അബീഗയിലും അവരുടെ സഹോദരിമാരായിരുന്നു. അബീശായിയും യോവാബും അസാഹേലും സെരൂയയുടെ മൂന്നു പുത്രന്മാരായിരുന്നു.
and their sisters Zeruiah and Abigail. And sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asah-El—three.
17 അബീഗയിൽ അമാസയുടെ മാതാവായിരുന്നു. അവന്റെ പിതാവ് യിശ്മായേല്യനായ യേഥെർ ആയിരുന്നു.
And Abigail has borne Amasa, and the father of Amasa [is] Jether the Ishmaelite.

And Caleb son of Hezron has begotten Azubah, Isshah, and Jerioth; and these [are] her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19 അസൂബ മരിച്ചപ്പോൾ കാലേബ് എഫ്രാത്തിനെ വിവാഹംകഴിച്ചു. അവൾ ഹൂർ എന്ന മകനു ജന്മംനൽകി.
And Azubah dies, and Caleb takes Ephrath to himself, and she bears Hur to him.
20 ഹൂർ ഊരിയുടെ പിതാവും ഊരി ബെസലേലിന്റെ പിതാവും ആയിരുന്നു.
And Hur begot Uri, and Uri begot Bezaleel.

And afterward Hezron has gone in to a daughter of Machir father of Gilead, and he has taken her, and he [is] a son of sixty years, and she bears Segub to him.

And Segub begot Jair, and he has twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead,

and he takes Geshur and Aram, the small villages of Jair, from them, with Kenath and its small towns, sixty cities—all these [belonged to] the sons of Machir father of Gilead.
24 കാലേബ്-എഫ്രാത്താ എന്ന പട്ടണത്തിൽവെച്ച് ഹെസ്രോന്റെ മരണശേഷം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഭാര്യയായ അബീയാ ഒരു മകനു ജന്മംനൽകി. അവനാണ് തെക്കോവയുടെ പിതാവായ അശ്ഹൂർ.
And after the death of Hezron in Caleb-Ephratah, then the wife of Hezron, Abijah, even bears to him Asshur, father of Tekoa.
25 ഹെസ്രോന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനായ യെരഹ്മയേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ആദ്യജാതനായ രാം, ബൂനാ, ഓരെൻ, ഓസെം, അഹീയാവ്.
And sons of Jerahmeel, firstborn of Hezron, are: the firstborn Ram, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.
26 യെരഹ്മയേലിന് അതാര എന്ന പേരുള്ള മറ്റൊരു ഭാര്യ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവൾ ഓനാമിന്റെ അമ്മയായിരുന്നു.
And Jerahmeel has another wife, and her name [is] Atarah, she [is] mother of Onam.
27 യെരഹ്മയേലിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനായ രാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: മയസ്, യാമിൻ, ഏക്കെർ.
And sons of Ram, firstborn of Jerahmeel, are Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
28 ഓനാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ശമ്മായി, യാദാ. ശമ്മായിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: നാദാബ്, അബീശൂർ.
And sons of Onam are Shammai and Jada. And sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
29 അബീശൂരിന്റെ ഭാര്യയ്ക്ക് അബീഹയീൽ എന്നു പേരായിരുന്നു. അവൾ അയാളുടെ രണ്ടു പുത്രന്മാർക്കു ജന്മംനൽകി: അഹ്ബാൻ, മോലീദ്.
And the name of the wife of Abishur [is] Abihail, and she bears Ahban and Molid to him.
30 നാദാബിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സേലദ്, അപ്പയീം. സേലദ് പുത്രന്മാരില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചു.
And sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim; and Seled dies without sons.
31 അപ്പയീമിന്റെ പുത്രൻ: ശേശാന്റെ പിതാവായ യിശി; ശേശാൻ അഹ്ലായിമിന്റെ പിതാവായിരുന്നു.
And sons of Appaim: Ishi. And sons of Ishi: Sheshan. And sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.
32 ശമ്മായിയുടെ സഹോദരനായ യാദയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യേഥെർ, യോനാഥാൻ. യേഥെർ പുത്രന്മാരില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചു.
And sons of Jada, brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether dies without sons.
33 യോനാഥാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: പേലെത്ത്, സാസാ. ഇവർ യെരഹ്മയേലിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികളായിരുന്നു.
And sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were sons of Jerahmeel.
34 ശേശാന്ന് പുത്രിമാരല്ലാതെ, പുത്രന്മാരില്ലായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാരനായ യർഹാ എന്നു പേരായ ഒരു ദാസനുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
And Sheshan had no sons, but daughters, and Sheshan has a servant, an Egyptian, and his name [is] Jarha,
35 ശേശാൻ തന്റെ ഭൃത്യനായ യർഹയ്ക്ക് തന്റെ മകളെ വിവാഹംകഴിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു. അവൾ അത്ഥായി എന്നു പേരുള്ള ഒരു മകനു ജന്മംകൊടുത്തു.
and Sheshan gives his daughter to his servant Jarha for a wife, and she bears Attai to him;
36 അത്ഥായി നാഥാന്റെ പിതാവായിരുന്നു, നാഥാൻ സാബാദിന്റെ പിതാവും.
and Attai begot Nathan, and Nathan begot Zabad,
37 സാബാദ് എഫ്ലാലിന്റെ പിതാവ്, എഫ്ലാൽ ഓബേദിന്റെ പിതാവ്.
and Zabad begot Ephlal, and Ephlal begot Obed,
38 ഓബേദ് യേഹുവിന്റെ പിതാവ്, യേഹു അസര്യാവിന്റെ പിതാവ്.
and Obed begot Jehu,
39 അസര്യാവ് ഹേലെസ്സിന്റെ പിതാവ്, ഹേലെസ് എലെയാശയുടെ പിതാവ്.
and Jehu begot Azariah, and Azariah begot Helez, and Helez begot Eleasah,
40 എലെയാശ സിസ്മായിയുടെ പിതാവ്, സിസ്മായി ശല്ലൂമിന്റെ പിതാവ്.
and Eleasah begot Sismai, and Sismai begot Shallum,
41 ശല്ലൂം യെക്കമ്യാവിന്റെ പിതാവ്, യെക്കമ്യാവ് എലീശാമയുടെ പിതാവ്.
and Shallum begot Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begot Elishama.
42 യെരഹ്മയേലിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ കാലേബിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനും സീഫിന്റെ പിതാവുമായ മേശാ, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പുത്രനും ഹെബ്രോന്റെ പിതാവുമായ മാരേശാ.
And sons of Caleb brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his firstborn, he [is] father of Ziph; and sons of Mareshah: Abi-Hebron.
43 ഹെബ്രോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: കോരഹ്, തപ്പൂഹ്, രേക്കെം, ശേമാ.
And sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
44 ശേമാ രഹമിന്റെ പിതാവായിരുന്നു, രഹം യോർക്കെയാമിന്റെ പിതാവും. രേക്കെം ശമ്മായിയുടെ പിതാവായിരുന്നു.
And Shema begot Raham father of Jorkoam, and Rekem begot Shammai.
45 ശമ്മായിയുടെ പുത്രനായിരുന്നു മാവോൻ, മാവോൻ ബേത്ത്-സൂരിന്റെ പിതാവായിരുന്നു.
And a son of Shammai [is] Maon, and Maon [is] father of Beth-Zur.
46 കാലേബിന്റെ വെപ്പാട്ടിയായ ഏഫാ, ഹാരാൻ, മോസ, ഗാസേസ് എന്നിവരുടെ മാതാവായിരുന്നു. ഹാരാൻ ഗാസേസിന്റെ പിതാവായിരുന്നു.
And Ephah concubine of Caleb bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begot Gazez.
47 യാഹ്ദയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: രേഗെം, യോഥാം, ഗേശാൻ, പേലെത്, ഏഫാ, ശയഫ്.
And sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshem, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48 കാലേബിന്റെ വെപ്പാട്ടിയായ മയഖാ ശേബെർ, തിർഹന എന്നിവരുടെ മാതാവായിരുന്നു.
The concubine of Caleb, Maachah, bore Sheber and Tirhanah;
49 അവൾക്ക് മദ്മന്നയുടെ പിതാവായ ശയഫിനും മക്ബേനയുടെയും ഗിബെയയുടെയും പിതാവായ ശെവായ്ക്കും ജന്മംനൽകി. കാലേബിന് അക്സാ എന്നു പേരുള്ള ഒരു മകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
and she bears Shaaph father of Madmannah, Sheva father of Machbenah, and father of Gibea; and a daughter of Caleb [is] Achsa.
50 ഇവരായിരുന്നു കാലേബിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികൾ. എഫ്രാത്തയുടെ ആദ്യജാതനായ ഹൂരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: കിര്യത്ത്-യെയാരീമിന്റെ പിതാവായ ശോബാൽ,
These were sons of Caleb son of Hur, firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim,
51 ബേത്ലഹേമിന്റെ പിതാവായ ശല്മാ, ബേത്ത്-ഗാദേരിന്റെ പിതാവായ ഹാരേഫ്.
Salma father of Beth-Lehem, Hareph father of Beth-Gader.
52 കിര്യത്ത്-യെയാരീമിന്റെ പിതാവായ ശോബാലിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികൾ ഇവരായിരുന്നു: ഹാരോവെയും മനഹത്ത് കുലത്തിന്റെ പകുതിയും.
And there are sons to Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim: Haroeh, half of the Menuhothite;
53 കിര്യത്ത്-യെയാരീമിന്റെ ഗണങ്ങൾ: യിത്രീയരും പൂത്യരും ശൂമാത്യരും മിശ്രായരും ആയിരുന്നു. ഇവരിൽനിന്നു സോരാത്യരും എസ്താവോല്യരും ഉത്ഭവിച്ചു.
and the families of Kirjath-Jearim: the Ithrite, and the Puhite, and the Shumathite, and the Mishraite. The Zorathite and the Eshtaolite went out from these.
54 ശല്മയുടെ പിൻഗാമികൾ: ബേത്ലഹേം, നെതോഫാത്യർ, അത്രോത്ത്-ബേത്ത്-യോവാബ്, മനഹത്തിന്റെ പകുതി, സൊര്യർ,
Sons of Salma: Beth-Lehem, and the Netophathite, Atroth, Beth-Joab, and half of the Menuhothite, the Zorite;
55 യബ്ബേസിൽ താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന വേദജ്ഞരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങൾ: തിരാത്യർ, ശിമെയാത്യർ, സൂഖാത്യർ എന്നിവരാണ്. രേഖാബ്യകുടുംബത്തിന്റെ പിതാവായ ഹമാത്തിൽനിന്ന് ഉത്ഭവിച്ച കേന്യർ ഇവരാണ്.
and the families of the scribes, the inhabitants of Jabez: Tirathites, Shimeathites, Suchathites. They [are] the Kenites, those coming of Hammath father of the house of Rechab.
