സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 9
1 സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു പുത്രമരണരാഗത്തിൽ; ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. ഞാൻ പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കും; നിന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ വർണ്ണിക്കും.
“For the leader of the music; to be sung in the manner or with the voice of maidens. To the Benites, or to Ben. A psalm of David.” I will praise thee, O LORD! with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvellous works.
2 ഞാൻ നിന്നിൽ സന്തോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും; അത്യുന്നതനായുള്ളോവേ, ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ കീർത്തിക്കും.
I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High!
3 എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ പിൻവാങ്ങുകയിൽ ഇടറിവീണു, നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നശിച്ചു പോകും.
All my enemies are turned back; They fall and perish at thy presence.
4 നീ എന്റെ കാര്യവും വ്യവഹാരവും നടത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ നീതിയോടെ വിധിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു;
For thou dost defend my right and my cause; Thou sittest upon the throne, a righteous judge.
5 നീ ജാതികളെ ശാസിച്ചു ദുഷ്ടനെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു; അവരുടെ നാമത്തെ നീ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും മായിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
Thou rebukest the nations; Thou destroyest the wicked; Thou blottest out their name for evermore!
6 ശത്രുക്കൾ മുടിഞ്ഞു സദാകാലത്തേക്കും നശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളെയും നീ മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അവയുടെ ഓർമ്മകൂടെ ഇല്ലാതെയായിരിക്കുന്നു.
The enemy is fallen, —a desolation for ever! Thou, O LORD! hast destroyed their cities; Their memory itself hath perished!
7 എന്നാൽ യഹോവ എന്നേക്കും വാഴുന്നു; ന്യായവിധിക്കു അവൻ സിംഹാസനം ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
The LORD reigneth for ever; He hath prepared his throne for judgment.
8 അവൻ ലോകത്തെ നീതിയോടെ വിധിക്കും; ജാതികൾക്കു നേരോടെ ന്യായപാലനം ചെയ്യും.
He judgeth the world in righteousness; He administereth judgment to the nations with uprightness.
9 യഹോവ പീഡിതന്നു ഒരു അഭയസ്ഥാനം; കഷ്ടകാലത്തു ഒരഭയസ്ഥാനം തന്നേ.
Yea, the LORD is a refuge for the oppressed; A refuge in times of trouble.
10 നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ അറിയുന്നവർ നിങ്കൽ ആശ്രയിക്കും; യഹോവേ, നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരെ നീ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നില്ലല്ലോ.
They who know thy name put their trust in thee; For thou, O LORD! forsakest not them that seek thee!
11 സീയോനിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന യഹോവെക്കു സ്തോത്രം പാടുവിൻ; അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഘോഷിപ്പിൻ.
Sing praises to the LORD, who reigneth in Zion; Declare his doings among the people!
12 രക്തപാതകത്തിന്നു പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ അവരെ ഓർക്കുന്നു; എളിയവരുടെ നിലവിളിയെ അവൻ മറക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.
As the avenger of blood, he remembereth the distressed; He forgetteth not their complaint.
13 യഹോവേ, എന്നോടു കരുണയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; മരണവാതിലുകളിൽനിന്നു എന്നെ ഉദ്ധരിക്കുന്നവനേ, എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവരാൽ എനിക്കു നേരിടുന്ന കഷ്ടം നോക്കേണമേ.
“Have pity upon me, [[said I, ]] O LORD! Look upon my affliction through them that hate me; Lift me up from the gates of death:
14 ഞാൻ സീയോൻപുത്രിയുടെ പടിവാതിലുകളിൽ നിന്റെ സ്തുതിയെ ഒക്കെയും പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു നിന്റെ രക്ഷയിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.
That I may show forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion; That I may rejoice in salvation by thee.”
15 ജാതികൾ തങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ കുഴിയിൽ താണുപോയി; അവർ ഒളിച്ചുവെച്ച വലയിൽ അവരുടെ കാൽ തന്നേ അകപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
The nations have sunk into the pit which they made; In the net, which they hid, is their own foot taken.
16 യഹോവ തന്നേത്താൻ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി ന്യായവിധി നടത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടൻ സ്വന്തകൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയിൽ കുടുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു. തന്ത്രിനാദം. (സേലാ)
Thus it is known that the LORD executeth judgment; The wicked are ensnared in the work of their own hands. [[Stringed instruments. (Pause)
The wicked shall be driven into the underworld; Yea, all the nations that forger God. (Sheol h7585)
18 ദരിദ്രനെ എന്നേക്കും മറന്നു പോകയില്ല; സാധുക്കളുടെ പ്രത്യാശെക്കു എന്നും ഭംഗം വരികയുമില്ല.
For the poor shall not always be forgotten; The hopes of the afflicted shall not perish for ever.
19 യഹോവേ, എഴുന്നേല്ക്കേണമേ, മർത്യൻ പ്രബലനാകരുതേ; ജാതികൾ നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ വിധിക്കപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.
Arise, O LORD! Let not man prevail; Let the nations be judged by thee!
20 യഹോവേ, തങ്ങൾ മർത്യരത്രേ എന്നു ജാതികൾ അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർക്കു ഭയം വരുത്തേണമേ. (സേലാ)
Strike terror into them, O LORD! Let the nations know that they are but men! (Pause)
