സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 71
1 യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ നിന്നിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ ഒരുനാളും ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകരുതേ.
In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be ashamed.
2 നിന്റെ നീതിനിമിത്തം എന്നെ ഉദ്ധരിച്ചു വിടുവിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചെവി എങ്കലേക്കു ചായിച്ചു എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.
Deliver me in thy righteousness, and rescue me: bow down thine ear unto me, and save me.
3 ഞാൻ എപ്പോഴും വന്നു പാർക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ എനിക്കു ഉറപ്പുള്ള പാറയായിരിക്കേണമേ; എന്നെ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ നീ കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്റെ പാറയും എന്റെ കോട്ടയും ആകുന്നുവല്ലോ.
Be thou to me a rock of habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.
4 എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ദുഷ്ടന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും നീതികേടും ക്രൂരതയും ഉള്ളവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ നിന്നും എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.
Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
5 യഹോവയായ കർത്താവേ, നീ എന്റെ പ്രത്യാശയാകുന്നു; ബാല്യംമുതൽ നീ എന്റെ ആശ്രയം തന്നേ.
For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: [thou art] my trust from my youth.
6 ഗർഭംമുതൽ നീ എന്നെ താങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ ഉദരത്തിൽനിന്നു എന്നെ എടുത്തവൻ നീ തന്നേ; എന്റെ സ്തുതി എപ്പോഴും നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചാകുന്നു;
By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother’s bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.
7 ഞാൻ പലർക്കും ഒരത്ഭുതം ആയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്റെ ബലമുള്ള സങ്കേതമാകുന്നു.
I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.
8 എന്റെ വായ് നിന്റെ സ്തുതികൊണ്ടും ഇടവിടാതെ നിന്റെ പ്രശംസകൊണ്ടും നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
My mouth shall be filled with thy praise, and with thy honour all the day.
9 വാർദ്ധക്യകാലത്തു നീ എന്നെ തള്ളിക്കളയരുതേ; ബലം ക്ഷയിക്കുമ്പോൾ എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയുമരുതേ.
Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.
10 എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പ്രാണഹാനിക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവർ കൂടിയാലോചിക്കുന്നു.
For mine enemies speak concerning me; and they that watch for my soul take counsel together,
11 ദൈവം അവനെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; പിന്തുടർന്നു പിടിപ്പിൻ; വിടുവിപ്പാൻ ആരുമില്ല എന്നു അവർ പറയുന്നു.
Saying, God hath forsaken him: pursue and take him; for there is none to deliver.
12 ദൈവമേ, എന്നോടു അകന്നിരിക്കരുതേ; എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, എന്നെ സഹായിപ്പാൻ വേഗം വരേണമേ.
O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste to help me.
13 എന്റെ പ്രാണന്നു വിരോധികളായവർ ലജ്ജിച്ചു നശിച്ചുപോകട്ടെ; എനിക്കു അനർത്ഥം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവർ നിന്ദകൊണ്ടും ലജ്ജകൊണ്ടും മൂടിപ്പോകട്ടെ.
Let them be ashamed [and] consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.
14 ഞാനോ എപ്പോഴും പ്രത്യാശിക്കും; ഞാൻ മേല്ക്കുമേൽ നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കും.
But I will hope continually, and will praise thee yet more and more.
15 എന്റെ വായ് ഇടവിടാതെ നിന്റെ നീതിയെയും രക്ഷയെയും വർണ്ണിക്കും; അവയുടെ സംഖ്യ എനിക്കു അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാ.
My mouth shall tell of thy righteousness, [and] of thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers [thereof].
16 ഞാൻ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളോടുകൂടെ വരും; നിന്റെ നീതിയെ മാത്രം ഞാൻ കീർത്തിക്കും.
I will come with the mighty acts of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
17 ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ ബാല്യംമുതൽ നീ എന്നെ ഉപദേശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇന്നുവരെ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അത്ഭുതപ്രവൃത്തികളെ അറിയിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.
O God, thou hast taught me from my youth; and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.
18 ദൈവമേ, അടുത്ത തലമുറയോടു ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ഭുജത്തെയും വരുവാനുള്ള എല്ലാവരോടും നിന്റെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തിയെയും അറിയിക്കുവോളം വാർദ്ധക്യവും നരയും ഉള്ള കാലത്തും എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കരുതേ.
Yea, even when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have declared thy strength unto [the next] generation, thy might to every one that is to come.
19 ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ നീതിയും അത്യുന്നതമായിരിക്കുന്നു; മഹാകാര്യങ്ങളെ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ദൈവമേ, നിന്നോടു തുല്യൻ ആരുള്ളു?
Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high; thou who hast done great things, O God, who is like unto thee?
20 അനവധി കഷ്ടങ്ങളും അനർത്ഥങ്ങളും ഞങ്ങളെ കാണുമാറാക്കിയവനേ, നീ ഞങ്ങളെ വീണ്ടും ജീവിപ്പിക്കും; ഭൂമിയുടെ ആഴങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ തിരികെ കയറ്റും.
Thou, which hast shewed us many and sore troubles, shalt quicken us again, and shalt bring us up again from the depths of the earth.
21 നീ എന്റെ മഹത്വം വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു എന്നെ വീണ്ടും ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.
Increase thou my greatness, and turn again and comfort me.
22 എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ഞാനും വീണകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെയും നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെയും സ്തുതിക്കും; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനായുള്ളോവേ, ഞാൻ കിന്നരംകൊണ്ടു നിനക്കു സ്തുതിപാടും.
I will also praise thee with the psaltery, [even] thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing praises with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.
23 ഞാൻ നിനക്കു സ്തുതിപാടുമ്പോൾ എന്റെ അധരങ്ങളും നീ വീണ്ടെടുത്ത എന്റെ പ്രാണനും ഘോഷിച്ചാനന്ദിക്കും.
My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing praises unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
24 എന്റെ നാവും ഇടവിടാതെ നിന്റെ നീതിയെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിക്കും; എനിക്കു അനർത്ഥം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവർ ലജ്ജിച്ചു ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോയിരിക്കുന്നു.
My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are ashamed, for they are confounded, that seek my hurt.
