സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 68

1 സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു; ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം; ഒരു ഗീതം. ദൈവം എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ ചിതറിപ്പോകുന്നു; അവനെ പകെക്കുന്നവരും അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു ഓടിപ്പോകുന്നു.

To the Chief Musician. David’s. A Melody, a Song. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered, Yea let them that hate him flee before him:

2 പുക പതറിപ്പോകുന്നതുപോലെ നീ അവരെ പതറിക്കുന്നു; തീയിങ്കൽ മെഴുകു ഉരുകുന്നതുപോലെ ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ നശിക്കുന്നു.

As smoke is driven about, Let them be driven about, —As wax is melted before a fire, Let the lawless perish before God.

3 എങ്കിലും നീതിമാന്മാർ സന്തോഷിച്ചു ദൈവ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഉല്ലസിക്കും; അതേ, അവർ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ ആനന്ദിക്കും.

But let, the righteous, be glad, let them exult before God, Yea let them rejoice with gladness.

4 ദൈവത്തിന്നു പാടുവിൻ, അവന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നു സ്തുതി പാടുവിൻ; മരുഭൂമിയിൽകൂടി വാഹനമേറി വരുന്നവന്നു വഴി നിരത്തുവിൻ; യാഹ് എന്നാകുന്നു അവന്റെ നാമം; അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഉല്ലസിപ്പിൻ.

Sing ye to God, Make music of his Name, —Lift up (a song), to him that rideth through the waste plains, —Since Yah is his name, exult ye before him.

5 ദൈവം തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനിവാസത്തിൽ അനാഥന്മാർക്കു പിതാവും വിധവമാർക്കു ന്യായപാലകനും ആകുന്നു.

The father of the fatherless, And the advocate of widows, Is God, in his holy habitation.

6 ദൈവം ഏകാകികളെ കുടുംബത്തിൽ വസിക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു; അവൻ ബദ്ധന്മാരെ വിടുവിച്ചു സൗഭാഗ്യത്തിലാക്കുന്നു; എന്നാൽ മത്സരികൾ വരണ്ട ദേശത്തു പാർക്കും.

God, is he that causeth the solitary to dwell in a home, That bringeth out prisoners into prosperity, But, the rebellious, have made their habitation in a sunburnt land.

7 ദൈവമേ, നീ നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു മുമ്പായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു മരുഭൂമിയിൽകൂടി നടകൊണ്ടപ്പോൾ (സേലാ)

O God! When thou camest forth before thy people, When thou didst stride through the wilderness, (Selah)

8 ഭൂമി കുലുങ്ങി, ആകാശം ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ പൊഴിഞ്ഞു; ഈ സീനായി യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

Earth, trembled, Yea, the heavens, dripped at the presence of God, —This Sinai—at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

9 ദൈവമേ, നീ ധാരാളം മഴ പെയ്യിച്ചു ക്ഷീണിച്ചിരുന്ന നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തെ തണുപ്പിച്ചു.

A bounteous rain, dost thou shed abroad, O God, upon thine inheritance, When exhausted, thou thyself, hast supported it:

10 നിന്റെ കൂട്ടം അതിൽ പാർത്തു; ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ ദയയാൽ നീ അതു എളിയവർക്കുവേണ്ടി ഒരുക്കിവെച്ചു.

Thy living host, have remained therein, Thou dost provide, in thy bounty, for the humbled ones—O God!

11 കർത്താവു ആജ്ഞ കൊടുക്കുന്നു; സുവാർത്താദൂതികൾ വലിയോരു ഗണമാകുന്നു.

Let, My Lord, but give the word, The herald bands, will be a mighty host:

12 സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാർ ഓടുന്നു, ഓടുന്നു; വീട്ടിൽ പാർക്കുന്നവൾ കവർച്ച പങ്കിടുന്നു.

Kings of armies, they flee! they flee! And, she that stayeth at home, shall share the spoil.

13 നിങ്ങൾ തൊഴുത്തുകളുടെ ഇടയിൽ കിടക്കുമ്പോൾ പ്രാവിന്റെ ചിറകു വെള്ളികൊണ്ടും അതിന്റെ തൂവലുകൾ പൈമ്പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടും പൊതിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ആകുന്നു.

Though ye rest between the folds, The wings of the dove, shall be covered with silver, And, her pinions, with green-shimmering gold.

14 സർവ്വശക്തൻ അവിടെ രാജാക്കന്മാരെ ചിതറിച്ചപ്പോൾ സല്മോനിൽ ഹിമം പെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു.

When the Almighty scattereth kings therein, It will gleam like snow in the gloom:

15 ബാശാൻപർവ്വതം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പർവ്വതമാകുന്നു. ബാശാൻ പർവ്വതം കൊടുമുടികളേറിയ പർവ്വതമാകുന്നു.

A mighty mountain, is the mountain of Bashan, A mountain of peaks, is the mountain of Bashan!—

16 കൊടുമുടികളേറിയ പർവ്വതങ്ങളേ, ദൈവം വസിപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന പർവ്വതത്തെ നിങ്ങൾ സ്പർദ്ധിച്ചുനോക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? യഹോവ അതിൽ എന്നേക്കും വസിക്കും.

Wherefore start ye up, ye mountains, ye peaks? The mountain God hath coveted for his habitation, Surely, Yahweh will inhabit it ever!

17 ദൈവത്തിന്റെ രഥങ്ങൾ ആയിരമായിരവും കോടികോടിയുമാകുന്നു; കർത്താവു അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ, സീനായിൽ, വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ തന്നേ.

The chariots of God, are two myriads—thousands repeated, My Lord, is among them Sinai, is in the sanctuary!

18 നീ ഉയരത്തിലേക്കു കയറി, ബദ്ധന്മാരെ പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി; യാഹ് എന്ന ദൈവം അവിടെ വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ മനുഷ്യരോടു, മത്സരികളോടു തന്നേ, കാഴ്ച വാങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Thou hast ascended on high, Thou hast led in procession a body of captives, Thou hast received gifts consisting of men, Yea even the rebellious, That, Yah, Elohim, might settle down to rest.

19 നമ്മുടെ രക്ഷയാകുന്ന ദൈവമായി, നാൾതോറും നമ്മുടെ ഭാരങ്ങളെ ചുമക്കുന്ന കർത്താവു വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ. (സേലാ)

Blessed be My Lord! Day by day, he beareth our burden for us, GOD himself, is our salvation. (Selah)

20 ദൈവം നമുക്കു ഉദ്ധാരണങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവം ആകുന്നു; മരണത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ള നീക്കുപോക്കുകൾ കർത്താവായ യഹോവെക്കുള്ളവ തന്നേ.

The GOD we have, is a GOD of saving deeds, And, due to Yahweh, My Lord, are escapes from death.

21 അതേ, ദൈവം തന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ തലയും തന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിൽ നടക്കുന്നവന്റെ രോമമുള്ള നെറുകയും തകർത്തുകളയും.

Yea, God himself, will smite through the head of his foes, —The hairy crown of him that is marching on in his guilty deeds.

22 നീ നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ രക്തത്തിൽ കാൽ മുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും അവരുടെ മാംസത്തിൽ നിന്റെ നായ്ക്കളുടെ നാവിന്നു ഓഹരി കിട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നും

Said My Lord, From Bashan, will I bring back, —I will bring back from the depths of the sea:

23 ഞാൻ അവരെ ബാശാനിൽനിന്നു മടക്കിവരുത്തും; സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ ആഴങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു അവരെ മടക്കിവരുത്തും.

That thou mayest bathe thy foot in blood, —The tongue of thy dogs, from the foes, hath its portion.

24 ദൈവമേ, അവർ നിന്റെ എഴുന്നെള്ളത്തുകണ്ടു; എന്റെ ദൈവവും രാജാവുമായവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തേക്കുള്ള എഴുന്നെള്ളത്തു തന്നേ.

They have seen thy progress O God, The progress of my GOD, my king into the sanctuary:

25 സംഗീതക്കാർ മുമ്പിൽ നടന്നു; വീണക്കാർ പിമ്പിൽ നടന്നു; തപ്പുകൊട്ടുന്ന കന്യകമാർ ഇരുപുറവും നടന്നു.

In front are the singers, Behind are the harpers, In the midst of damsels playing on timbrels:

26 യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഉറവിൽനിന്നുള്ളോരേ, സഭായോഗങ്ങളിൽ നിങ്ങൾ കർത്താവായ ദൈവത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തുവിൻ.

In the congregations, bless ye God, My Lord, from among the called of Israel:

27 അവിടെ അവരുടെ നായകനായ ചെറിയ ബെന്യാമീനും യെഹൂദാപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും അവരുടെ സംഘവും സെബൂലൂൻപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും നഫ്താലിപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും ഉണ്ടു.

There, is Benjamin, the Diminutive—ruling them, The princes of Judah—their throng, The princes of Zebulun, The princes of Naphtali.

28 നിന്റെ ദൈവം നിനക്കു ബലം കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവമേ, നീ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രവർത്തിച്ചതു സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തേണമേ.

Thy God hath commanded thy strength, —The strength, O God, which thou hast wrought for us.

29 യെരൂശലേമിലുള്ള നിന്റെ മന്ദിരംനിമിത്തം രാജാക്കന്മാർ നിനക്കു കാഴ്ച കൊണ്ടുവരും.

Because of thy temple above Jerusalem, Unto thee, shall kings bear along a gift—

30 ഞാങ്ങണയുടെ ഇടയിലെ ദുഷ്ടജന്തുവിനെയും ജാതികൾ വെള്ളിവാളങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ വന്നു കീഴടങ്ങുംവരെ അവരുടെ കാളക്കൂട്ടത്തെയും പശുക്കിടാക്കളെയും ശാസിക്കേണമേ; യുദ്ധതല്പരന്മാരായ ജാതികളെ ചിതറിക്കേണമേ.

Rebuke thou, The wild beast of the reeds, The herd of mighty oxen among the calves of the peoples—Each one bowing down with bars of silver, —Scatter thou the peoples, who in wars take delight.

31 മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു മഹത്തുക്കൾ വരും; കൂശ് വേഗത്തിൽ തന്റെ കൈകളെ ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്കു നീട്ടും.

Ambassadors come out of Egypt, The Ethiopian, eagerly stretcheth out his hands, unto God.

32 ഭൂമിയിലെ രാജ്യങ്ങളെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു പാട്ടുപാടുവിൻ; കർത്താവിന്നു കീർത്തനം ചെയ്‌വിൻ. (സേലാ)

Ye kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God, Praise in song Adonay. (Selah)

33 പുരാതനസ്വർഗ്ഗാധിസ്വർഗ്ഗങ്ങളിൽ വാഹനമേറുന്നവന്നു പാടുവിൻ! ഇതാ, അവൻ തന്റെ ശബ്ദത്തെ, ബലമേറിയോരു ശബ്ദത്തെ കേൾപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

Unto him that rideth upon the most ancient heavens, Lo! he uttereth his voice, a voice of strength.

34 ദൈവത്തിന്നു ശക്തി കൊടുപ്പിൻ; അവന്റെ മഹിമ യിസ്രായേലിന്മേലും അവന്റെ ബലം മേഘങ്ങളിലും വിളങ്ങുന്നു.

Ascribe ye strength unto God, —Over Israel, is his majesty, And his strength, in the skies. To be revered is God, for his sanctuary, —

35 ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ നിന്നു നീ ഭയങ്കരനായി വിളങ്ങുന്നു; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവം തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു ശക്തിയും ബലവും കൊടുക്കുന്നു. ദൈവം വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.

As for the GOD of Israel, he, is giving strength and abundant might to the people. Blessed be God!
