സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 130

1 ആരോഹണഗീതം. യഹോവേ, ആഴത്തിൽനിന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു;

A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths have I called Thee, O LORD.

2 കർത്താവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേൾക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചെവി എന്റെ യാചനകൾക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്കേണമേ.

Lord, hearken unto my voice; let Thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3 യഹോവേ, നീ അകൃത്യങ്ങളെ ഓർമ്മവെച്ചാൽ കർത്താവേ, ആർ നിലനില്ക്കും?

If Thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

4 എങ്കിലും നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്റെ പക്കൽ വിമോചനം ഉണ്ടു.

For with Thee there is forgiveness, that Thou mayest be feared.

5 ഞാൻ യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഉള്ളം കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ വചനത്തിൽ ഞാൻ പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope.

6 ഉഷസ്സിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരെക്കാൾ, ഉഷസ്സിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരെക്കാൾ എന്റെ ഉള്ളം യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

My soul waiteth for the Lord, more than watchmen for the morning; yea, more than watchmen for the morning.

7 യിസ്രായേലേ, യഹോവയിൽ പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചുകൊൾക; യഹോവെക്കു കൃപയും അവന്റെപക്കൽ ധാരാളം വീണ്ടെടുപ്പും ഉണ്ടു.

O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption.

8 അവൻ യിസ്രായേലിനെ അവന്റെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളിൽനിന്നൊക്കെയും വീണ്ടെടുക്കും.

And He will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
