സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 11

1 സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു; ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ ശരണമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; പക്ഷികളേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ പർവ്വതത്തിലേക്കു പറന്നുപോകുവിൻ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ എന്നോടു പറയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?

For the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David. In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

2 ഇതാ, ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ ഹൃദയപരമാർത്ഥികളെ ഇരുട്ടത്തു എയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു വില്ലു കുലെച്ചു അസ്ത്രം ഞാണിന്മേൽ തൊടുക്കുന്നു.

For, lo, the wicked bend the bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.

3 അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ മറിഞ്ഞുപോയാൽ നീതിമാൻ എന്തുചെയ്യും?

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

4 യഹോവ തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടു; യഹോവയുടെ സിംഹാസനം സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ ആകുന്നു; അവന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾ ദർശിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ കൺപോളകൾ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരെ ശോധന ചെയ്യുന്നു.

The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD, his throne is in heaven; his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

5 യഹോവ നീതിമാനെ ശോധന ചെയ്യുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടനെയും സാഹസപ്രിയനെയും അവന്റെ ഉള്ളം വെറുക്കുന്നു.

The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

6 ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെമേൽ അവൻ കണികളെ വർഷിപ്പിക്കും; തീയും ഗന്ധകവും ഉഷ്ണക്കാറ്റും അവരുടെ പാനപാത്രത്തിലെ ഓഹരിയായിരിക്കും.

Upon the wicked he shall rain snares; fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be the portion of their cup.

7 യഹോവ നീതിമാൻ; അവൻ നീതിയെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു; നേരുള്ളവർ അവന്റെ മുഖം കാണും.

For the LORD is righteous; he loveth righteousness: the upright shall behold his face.
