നെഹെമ്യാവു 12

1 ശെയൽതീയേലിന്റെ മകനായ സെരുബ്ബാബേലിനോടും യേശുവയോടുംകൂടെ വന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും ആവിതു:

Now these are the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra;

2 സെരായാവു, യിരെമ്യാവു, എസ്രാ, അമര്യാവു,

Amariah, Malluch, Hattush;

3 മല്ലൂക്, ഹത്തൂശ്, ശെഖന്യാവു, രെഹൂം,

Shecaniah, Rehum, Meremoth;

4 മെരേമോത്ത്, ഇദ്ദോ, ഗിന്നെഥോയി,

Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah;

5 അബ്ബീയാവു, മീയാമീൻ; മയദ്യാവു, ബില്ഗാ,

Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah;

6 ശെമയ്യാവു, യോയാരീബ്, യെദായാവു,

Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah;

7 സല്ലൂ, ആമോക്, ഹില്ക്കീയാവു, യെദായാവു. ഇവർ യേശുവയുടെ കാലത്തു പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെയും തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെയും തലവന്മാർ ആയിരുന്നു.

Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the chiefs of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua.

8 ലേവ്യരോ യേശുവ, ബിന്നൂവി, കദ്മീയേൽ, ശേരെബ്യാവു, യെഹൂദാ എന്നിവരും സ്തോത്രഗാനനായകനായ മത്ഥന്യാവും സഹോദരന്മാരും.

Moreover the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, [and] Mattaniah, which was over the thanksgiving, he and his brethren.

9 അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ ബക്ക്ബൂക്ക്യാവും ഉന്നോവും അവർക്കു സഹകാരികളായി ശുശ്രൂഷിച്ചുനിന്നു.

Also Bakbukiah and Unno, their brethren, were over against them in wards.

10 യേശുവ യോയാക്കീമിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; യോയാക്കീം എല്യാശീബിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; എല്യാശീബ് യോയാദയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;

And Jeshua begat Joiakim, and Joiakim begat Eliashib, and Eliashib begat Joiada,

11 യോയാദാ യോനാഥാനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; യോനാഥാൻ യദ്ദൂവയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

and Joiada begat Jonathan, and Jonathan begat Jaddua.

12 യോയാക്കീമിന്റെ കാലത്തു പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരായിരുന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാർ സെറായാകുലത്തിന്നു മെരായ്യാവു; യിരെമ്യാകുലത്തിന്നു ഹനന്യാവു;

And in the days of Joiakim were priests, heads of fathers’ [houses]: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;

13 എസ്രാകുലത്തിന്നു മെശുല്ലാം;

of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;

14 അമര്യാകുലത്തിന്നു യെഹോഹാനാൻ; മല്ലൂക്ക്കുലത്തിന്നു യോനാഥാൻ; ശെബന്യാകുലത്തിന്നു യോസേഫ്;

of Malluchi, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;

15 ഹാരീംകുലത്തിന്നു അദ്നാ; മെരായോത്ത് കുലത്തിന്നു ഹെല്ക്കായി;

of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;

16 ഇദ്ദോകുലത്തിന്നു സെഖര്യാവു; ഗിന്നെഥോൻകുലത്തിന്നു മെശുല്ലാം;

of Iddo, Zechariah; of Gennethon, Meshullam;

17 അബീയാകുലത്തിന്നു സിക്രി; മിന്യാമീൻകുലത്തിന്നും മോവദ്യാകുലത്തിന്നും പിൽതായി;

of Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin, of Moadiah, Piltai;

18 ബിൽഗാകുലത്തിന്നു ശമ്മൂവ; ശെമയ്യാകുലത്തിന്നു യെഹോനാഥാൻ;

of Bilgah, Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;

19 യോയാരീബ്‌കുലത്തിന്നു മഥെനായി; യെദായാകുലത്തിന്നു ഉസ്സി;

and of Joiarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi;

20 സല്ലായികുലത്തിന്നു കല്ലായി; ആമോക്ക്കുലത്തിന്നു ഏബെർ;

of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber;

21 ഹില്ക്കീയാകുലത്തിന്നു ഹശബ്യാവു; യെദായാകുലത്തിന്നു നെഥനയേൽ.

of Hilkiah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethanel.

22 എല്യാശീബ്, യോയാദാ, യോഹാനാൻ, യദ്ദൂവ എന്നിവരുടെ കാലത്തു ലേവ്യരെയും പാർസിരാജാവായ ദാര്യാവേശിന്റെ കാലത്തു പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരായി എഴുതിവെച്ചു.

The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, were recorded heads of fathers’ [houses]: also the priests, in the reign of Darius the Persian.

23 ലേവ്യരായ പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാർ ഇന്നവരെന്നു എല്യാശീബിന്റെ മകനായ യോഹാനാന്റെ കാലംവരെ ദിനവൃത്താന്തപുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരുന്നു.

The sons of Levi, heads of fathers’ [houses], were written in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.

24 ലേവ്യരുടെ തലവന്മാർ: ഹശബ്യാവു, ശേരെബ്യാവു, കദ്മീയേലിന്റെ മകൻ യേശുവ എന്നിവരും അവരുടെ സഹകാരികളായ സഹോദരന്മാരും ദൈവപുരുഷനായ ദാവീദിന്റെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം തരംതരമായി നിന്നു സ്തുതിയും സ്തോത്രവും ചെയ്തുവന്നു.

And the chiefs of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise and give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward against ward.

25 മത്ഥന്യാവും ബ്ക്കുബൂക്ക്യാവു, ഓബദ്യാവു, മെശുല്ലാം, തല്മോൻ, അക്കൂബ്, എന്നിവർ വാതിലുകൾക്കരികെയുള്ള ഭണ്ഡാരഗൃഹങ്ങൾ കാക്കുന്ന വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാർ ആയിരുന്നു.

Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were porters keeping the ward at the storehouses of the gates.

26 ഇവർ യോസാദാക്കിന്റെ മകനായ യേശുവയുടെ മകനായ യോയാക്കീമിന്റെ കാലത്തും ദേശാധിപതിയായ നെഹെമ്യാവിന്റെയും ശാസ്ത്രിയായ എസ്രാപുരോഹിതന്റെയും കാലത്തും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest the scribe.

27 യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ മതിൽ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ച സമയം അവർ സ്തോത്രങ്ങളോടും സംഗീതത്തോടും കൂടെ കൈത്താളങ്ങളും വീണകളും കിന്നരങ്ങളുംകൊണ്ടു സന്തോഷപൂർവ്വം പ്രതിഷ്ഠ ആചരിപ്പാൻ ലേവ്യരെ അവരുടെ സർവ്വവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു അന്വേഷിച്ചു വരുത്തി.

And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication, with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.

28 അങ്ങനെ സംഗീതക്കാരുടെ വർഗ്ഗം യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പ്രദേശത്തുനിന്നും നെതോഫാത്യരുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും

And the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the plain round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of the Netophathites;

29 ബേത്ത്-ഗിൽഗാലിൽനിന്നും ഗേബയുടെയും അസ്മാവെത്തിന്റെയും നാട്ടുപുറങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും വന്നുകൂടി; സംഗീതക്കാർ യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ ചുറ്റും തങ്ങൾക്കു ഗ്രാമങ്ങൾ പണിതിരുന്നു.

also from Beth-gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the singers had builded them villages round about Jerusalem.

30 പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടു ജനത്തെയും വാതിലുകളെയും മതിലിനെയും ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു.

And the priests and the Levites purified themselves; and they purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.

31 പിന്നെ ഞാൻ യെഹൂദാപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ മതിലിന്മേൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി; സ്തോത്രഗാനം ചെയ്തുംകൊണ്ടു പ്രദക്ഷിണം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു രണ്ടു വലിയ കൂട്ടങ്ങളെ നിയമിച്ചു; അവയിൽ ഒന്നു മതിലിന്മേൽ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തുകൂടി കുപ്പവാതില്ക്കലേക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടു.

Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies that gave thanks and went in procession; [whereof one went] on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate:

32 അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ ഹോശയ്യാവും യെഹൂദാപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരിൽ പാതിപേരും നടന്നു.

and after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah,

33 അസര്യാവും എസ്രയും മെശുല്ലാമും

and Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,

34 യെഹൂദയും ബെന്യമീനും ശെമയ്യാവും

Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,

35 യിരെമ്യാവും കാഹളങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ പുരോഹിതപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചിലരും ആസാഫിന്റെ മകനായ സക്കൂരിന്റെ മകനായ മീഖായാവിന്റെ മകനായ മത്ഥന്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ശെമയ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോനാഥാന്റെ മകൻ സെഖര്യാവും

and certain of the priests’ sons with trumpets: Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph;

36 ദൈവപുരുഷനായ ദാവീദിന്റെ വാദ്യങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ ശെമയ്യാവു അസരയേലും മീലലായിയും ഗീലലായിയും മായായിയും നെഥനയേലും യെഹൂദയും ഹനാനിയും നടന്നു; എസ്രാശാസ്ത്രി അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നടന്നു.

and his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God; and Ezra the scribe was before them:

37 അവർ ഉറവുവാതിൽ കടന്നു നേരെ ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിന്റെ പടിക്കെട്ടിൽകൂടി ദാവീദിന്റെ അരമനെക്കപ്പുറം മതിലിന്റെ കയറ്റത്തിൽ കിഴക്കു നീർവ്വാതിൽവരെ ചെന്നു.

And by the fountain gate, and straight before them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward.

38 സ്തോത്രഗാനക്കാരുടെ രണ്ടാം കൂട്ടം അവർക്കു എതിരെ ചെന്നു; അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ ഞാനും ജനത്തിൽ പാതിയും മതിലിന്മേൽ ചൂളഗോപുരത്തിന്നു അപ്പുറം വിശാലമതിൽവരെയും എഫ്രയീംവാതിലിന്നപ്പുറം

And the other company of them that gave thanks went to meet them, and I after them, with the half of the people, upon the wall, above the tower of the furnaces, even unto the broad wall;

39 പഴയവാതിലും മീൻവാതിലും ഹനനേലിന്റെ ഗോപുരവും ഹമ്മേയാഗോപുരവും കടന്നു ആട്ടുവാതിൽവരെയും ചെന്നു; അവർ കാരാഗൃഹവാതില്ക്കൽ നിന്നു.

and above the gate of Ephraim, and by the old gate, and by the fish gate, and the tower of Hananel, and the tower of Hammeah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the gate of the guard.

40 അങ്ങനെ സ്തോത്രഗാനക്കാരുടെ കൂട്ടം രണ്ടും ഞാനും എന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ള പ്രമാണികളിൽ പാതിപേരും നിന്നു.

So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me:

41 കാഹളങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ എല്യാക്കീം, മയസേയാവു, മിന്യാമീൻ, മീഖായാവു, എല്യോവേനായി, സെഖര്യാവു, ഹനന്യാവു, എന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരും മയസേയാവു,

and the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;

42 ശെമയ്യാവു, എലെയാസാർ, ഉസ്സി, യെഹോഹാനാൻ മല്ക്കീയാവു, ഏലാം, ഏസെർ എന്നിവരും ദൈവാലയത്തിന്നരികെ വന്നുനിന്നു; സംഗീതക്കാർ ഉച്ചത്തിൽ പാട്ടുപാടി; യിസ്രഹ്യാവു അവരുടെ പ്രമാണിയായിരുന്നു.

and Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.

43 അവർ അന്നു മഹായാഗങ്ങൾ അർപ്പിച്ചു സന്തോഷിച്ചു; ദൈവം അവർക്കു മഹാസന്തോഷം നല്കിയിരുന്നു; സ്ത്രീകളും പൈതങ്ങളുംകൂടെ സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു യെരൂശലേമിലെ സന്തോഷഘോഷം ബഹുദൂരത്തോളം കേട്ടു.

And they offered great sacrifices that day, and rejoiced; for God had made them rejoice with great joy; and the women also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.

44 അന്നു ശുശ്രൂഷിച്ചുനില്ക്കുന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും ലേവ്യരെയും കുറിച്ചു യെഹൂദാജനം സന്തോഷിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കും ലേവ്യർക്കും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താൽ നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഓഹരികളെ, പട്ടണങ്ങളോടു ചേർന്ന നിലങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു ശേഖരിച്ചു ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിന്നും ഉദർച്ചാർപ്പണങ്ങൾക്കും ഉള്ള അറകളിൽ സൂക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ചില പുരുഷന്മാരെ മേൽവിചാരകന്മാരായി നിയമിച്ചു.

And on that day were men appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the heave offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, according to the fields of the cities, the portions appointed by the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited.

45 അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷയും ശുദ്ധീകരണശുശ്രൂഷയും നടത്തി; സംഗീതക്കാരും വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരും ദാവീദിന്റെയും അവന്റെ മകനായ ശലോമോന്റെയും കല്പനപ്രകാരം ചെയ്തു.

And they kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, and [so did] the singers and the porters, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.

46 പണ്ടു ദാവീദിന്റെയും ആസാഫിന്റെയും കാലത്തു സംഗീതക്കാർക്കു ഒരു തലവനും ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തുതിയും സ്തോത്രവും ആയുള്ള ഗീതങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

For in the days of David and Asaph of old there was a chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.

47 എല്ലായിസ്രായേലും സെരുബ്ബാബേലിന്റെ കാലത്തും നെഹെമ്യാവിന്റെ കാലത്തും സംഗീതക്കാർക്കും വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാർക്കും ദിവസേന ആവശ്യമായ ഉപജീവനം കൊടുത്തുവന്നു. അവർ ലേവ്യർക്കു നിവേദിതങ്ങളെ കൊടുത്തു; ലേവ്യർ അഹരോന്യർക്കും നിവേദിതങ്ങളെ കൊടുത്തു.

And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, as every day required: and they sanctified for the Levites; and the Levites sanctified for the sons of Aaron.
