മത്തായി 26
1 ഈ വചനങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും പറഞ്ഞു തീർന്നശേഷം യേശു ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു:
And it came to pass when finished Jesus all words these, He said to the disciples of Him;
2 രണ്ടു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു പെസഹ ആകുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ; അന്നു മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെ ക്രൂശിപ്പാൻ ഏല്പിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
You know that after two days the Passover takes place, and the Son of Man is delivered over to be crucified.
3 അന്നു മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ജനത്തിന്റെ മൂപ്പന്മാരും കയ്യഫാമഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ മണ്ഡപത്തിൽ വന്നു കൂടി,
Then were gathered together the chief priests (and scribes *K*) and the elders of the people in the courtyard of the high priest who is being named Caiaphas
4 യേശുവിനെ ഉപായത്താൽ പിടിച്ചു കൊല്ലുവാൻ ആലോചിച്ചു;
and they plotted together in order that Jesus by guile they may seize and may kill.
5 എങ്കിലും ജനത്തിൽ കലഹമുണ്ടാകാതിരിപ്പാൻ പെരുനാളിൽ അരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
They were saying however; Not [seize him] during the feast, that not a riot may happen among the people.
6 യേശു ബേഥാന്യയിൽ കുഷ്ഠരോഗിയായിരുന്ന ശീമോന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ
And of Jesus having been in Bethany in [the] house of Simon the leper
7 ഒരു സ്ത്രീ വിലയേറിയ പരിമളതൈലം നിറഞ്ഞ ഒരു വെൺകൽഭരണി എടുത്തുംകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ അടുക്കെ വന്നു, അവൻ പന്തിയിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അതു അവന്റെ തലയിൽ ഒഴിച്ചു.
came to Him a woman having an alabaster flask of fragrant oil very costly and poured [it] on (the head *N(k)O*) when he is reclining.
8 ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അതു കണ്ടിട്ടു മുഷിഞ്ഞു: ഈ വെറും ചെലവു എന്തിന്നു?
Having seen then the disciples (of him *k*) became indignant saying; For what purpose [is] the waste this?
9 ഇതു വളരെ വിലെക്കു വിറ്റു ദരിദ്രർക്കു കൊടുക്കാമായിരുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
It was possible for this (*k*) (fragrant oil *K*) to be sold for much and to be given to [the] poor.
10 യേശു അതു അറിഞ്ഞു അവരോടു: സ്ത്രീയെ അസഹ്യപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതു എന്തു? അവൾ എങ്കൽ നല്ല പ്രവൃത്തിയല്ലോ ചെയ്തതു.
Having known [this] now Jesus said to them; Why trouble do you cause to the woman? A work for beautiful she did to Me myself.
11 ദരിദ്രർ നിങ്ങൾക്കു എല്ലായ്പോഴും അടുക്കെ ഉണ്ടു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു എല്ലായ്പോഴും ഇല്ലതാനും.
Always for the poor you have with yourselves, Me myself however not always you have.
12 അവൾ ഈ തൈലം എന്റെ ദേഹത്തിന്മേൽ ഒഴിച്ചതു എന്റെ ശവസംസ്കാരത്തിന്നായി ചെയ്തതാകുന്നു.
In pouring for this [woman] fragrant oil this on the body of Mine for to bury Me she did [it].
13 ലോകത്തിൽ എങ്ങും, ഈ സുവിശേഷം പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നേടത്തെല്ലാം, അവൾ ചെയ്തതും അവളുടെ ഓർമ്മെക്കായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
Amen I say to you; wherever if shall be proclaimed gospel this in all the world, will be spoken of also that which did this [woman] for a memorial of her.
14 അന്നു പന്തിരുവരിൽ ഒരുത്തനായ യൂദാ ഈസ്കര്യോത്താവു മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു:
Then having gone one of the Twelve, the [one] being named Judas Iscariot, to the chief priests
15 നിങ്ങൾ എന്തു തരും? ഞാൻ അവനെ കാണിച്ചുതരാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അവർ അവന്നു മുപ്പതു വെള്ളിക്കാശു തൂക്കിക്കൊടുത്തു.
he said; What are you willing me to give, and I myself and I myself to you will betray Him? And they appointed to him thirty pieces of silver.
16 അന്നു മുതൽ അവനെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പാൻ അവൻ തക്കം അന്വേഷിച്ചു പോന്നു.
And from that time he was seeking an opportunity that Him he may betray.
17 പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ ഒന്നാം നാളിൽ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ യേശുവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: നീ പെസഹ കഴിപ്പാൻ ഞങ്ങൾ ഒരുക്കേണ്ടതു എവിടെ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
On the now first [day] of the unleavened [bread] came the disciples to Jesus saying (to him: *k*) Where wish you [that] (we may prepare *NK(o)*) for You to eat the Passover?
18 അതിന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: നിങ്ങൾ നഗരത്തിൽ ഇന്നവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു: എന്റെ സമയം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ എന്റെ ശിഷ്യരുമായി നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പെസഹ കഴിക്കും എന്നു ഗുരു പറയുന്നു എന്നു പറവിൻ.
And He said; do go into the city unto a certain man and do tell him: the Teacher says; The time for Me near is, with you I keep the Passover with the disciples of Mine.’
19 ശിഷ്യന്മാർ യേശു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു പെസഹ ഒരുക്കി.
And did the disciples as directed them Jesus, and prepared the Passover.
20 സന്ധ്യയായപ്പോൾ അവൻ പന്ത്രണ്ടു ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടുകൂടെ പന്തിയിൽ ഇരുന്നു.
As evening now having arrived He was reclining with the twelve (disciples. *O*)
21 അവർ ഭക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൻ: നിങ്ങളിൽ ഒരുവൻ എന്നെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
And when were eating they He said; Amen I say to you that one of you will betray Me.
22 അപ്പോൾ അവർ അത്യന്തം ദുഃഖിച്ചു: ഞാനോ, ഞാനോ, കർത്താവേ, എന്നു ഓരോരുത്തൻ പറഞ്ഞുതുടങ്ങി.
And being grieved exceedingly they began to say to Him one each (of them: *k*) surely not ever I myself is it, Lord?
23 അവൻ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: എന്നോടുകൂടെ കൈ താലത്തിൽ മുക്കുന്നവൻ തന്നേ എന്നെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.
And answering He said; The [one] having dipped with Me the hand in the dish he Me will betray.
24 തന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ പോകുന്നു സത്യം; മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യന്നോ ഹാ കഷ്ടം; ആ മനുഷ്യൻ ജനിക്കാതിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവന്നു കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു.
Indeed the Son of Man goes even as it has been written about Him, woe however for the man that [one] through whom the Son of Man is betrayed; Better was being for him if not was born the man that.
25 എന്നാറെ അവനെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്ന യൂദാ: ഞാനോ, റബ്ബീ, എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു: നീ തന്നേ എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
Answering now Judas who is betraying Him said; surely not ever I myself is it, Rabbi? He says to him; You yourself have said.
26 അവർ ഭക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ യേശു അപ്പം എടുത്തു വാഴ്ത്തി നുറുക്കി ശിഷ്യന്മാർക്കു കൊടുത്തു: വാങ്ങി ഭക്ഷിപ്പിൻ; ഇതു എന്റെ ശരീരം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
When were eating now they having taken Jesus (*k*) bread and (having blessed *NK(O)*) broke [it], and (giving *N(k)O*) to the disciples (and *k*) He said; do take do eat; this is the body of Me.
27 പിന്നെ പാനപാത്രം എടുത്തു സ്തോത്രം ചൊല്ലി അവർക്കു കൊടുത്തു: എല്ലാവരും ഇതിൽ നിന്നു കുടിപ്പിൻ.
And having taken (*k*) a cup and having given thanks He gave [it] to them saying; do drink of it all of you;
28 ഇതു അനേകർക്കുവേണ്ടി പാപമോചനത്തിന്നായി ചൊരിയുന്ന പുതിയ നിയമത്തിന്നുള്ള എന്റെ രക്തം;
This for is the blood of Mine (*k*) of the (of a new *KO*) covenant for many being poured out for forgiveness of sins.
29 എന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ രാജ്യത്തിൽ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ പുതുതായി കുടിക്കുംനാൾവരെ ഞാൻ മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയുടെ ഈ അനുഭവത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഇനി കുടിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
I say now to you (that: *k*) certainly not shall I drink from now of this the (fruit *N(k)O*) of the vine until the day that when it I may drink with you anew in the kingdom of the Father of Mine.
30 പിന്നെ അവർ സ്തോത്രം പാടിയശേഷം ഒലീവ് മലെക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോയി.
And having sung a hymn they went out to the Mount of Olives.
31 യേശു അവരോടു: ഈ രാത്രിയിൽ നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും എങ്കൽ ഇടറും; ഞാൻ ഇടയനെ വെട്ടും; കൂട്ടത്തിലെ ആടുകൾ ചിതറിപ്പോകും എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
Then says to them Jesus; All you yourselves will fall away because of Me myself during night this; It has been written for: I will strike the shepherd, and (they will be scattered *N(k)O*) the sheep of the flock.’
32 എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റശേഷം നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പായി ഗലീലെക്കു പോകും.
After however to raise Me I will go before you into Galilee.
33 അതിന്നു പത്രൊസ്: എല്ലാവരും നിങ്കൽ ഇടറിയാലും ഞാൻ ഒരുനാളും ഇടറുകയില്ല എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
Answering now Peter said to Him; If (even *k*) all will fall away because of You, I myself (but *k*) never will fall away.
34 യേശു അവനോടു: ഈ രാത്രിയിൽ കോഴി കൂകുംമുമ്പെ നീ മൂന്നുവട്ടം എന്നെ തള്ളിപ്പറയും എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
was saying to him Jesus; Amen I say to you that during this night before [the] rooster crowing three times you will deny Me.
35 നിന്നോടു കൂടെ മരിക്കേണ്ടിവന്നാലും ഞാൻ നിന്നെ തള്ളിപ്പറകയില്ല എന്നു പത്രൊസ് അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു. അതുപോലെ തന്നേ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ എല്ലാവരും പറഞ്ഞു.
Says to Him Peter; Even if Even if it shall be necessary for me with You to die, certainly not You (I will deny. *NK(o)*) Likewise (now *o*) also all the disciples said.
36 അനന്തരം യേശു അവരുമായി ഗെത്ത്ശെമന എന്ന തോട്ടത്തിൽ വന്നു ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു: ഞാൻ അവിടെ പോയി പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു വരുവോളം ഇവിടെ ഇരിപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു,
Then comes with them Jesus to a place being named Gethsemane and He says to the disciples; do sit here until that having gone away over there I may pray.
37 പത്രൊസിനെയും സെബെദിപുത്രന്മാർ ഇരുവരെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു ചെന്നു ദുഃഖിച്ചും വ്യാകുലപ്പെട്ടും തുടങ്ങി:
And having taken with [Him] Peter and the two sons of Zebedee He began to be sorrowful and to be deeply distressed.
38 എന്റെ ഉള്ളം മരണവേദനപോലെ അതിദുഃഖിതമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇവിടെ താമസിച്ചു എന്നോടുകൂടെ ഉണർന്നിരിപ്പിൻ എന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
Then He says to them (*o*) (Jesus: *O*) Very sorrowful is the soul of Mine until death; do remain here and do watch with Me.
39 പിന്നെ അവൻ അല്പം മുമ്പോട്ടുചെന്നു കവിണ്ണുവീണു: പിതാവേ, കഴിയും എങ്കിൽ ഈ പാനപാത്രം എങ്കൽ നിന്നു നീങ്ങിപ്പോകേണമേ; എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുംപോലെ അല്ല, നീ ഇച്ഛിക്കുംപോലെ ആകട്ടെ എന്നു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു.
And (having gone forward *NK(o)*) a little He fell upon face of Him praying and saying; Father of Mine, if possible it is, should pass from Me cup this; Nevertheless not [it is] as I myself wish but as You.
40 പിന്നെ അവൻ ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു, അവർ ഉറങ്ങുന്നതു കണ്ടു, പത്രൊസിനോടു: എന്നോടു കൂടെ ഒരു നാഴികപോലും ഉണർന്നിരിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കഴിഞ്ഞില്ലയോ?
And He comes to the disciples and finds them sleeping And He says to Peter; Thus not were you able one hour to watch with Me?
41 പരീക്ഷയിൽ അകപ്പെടാതിരിപ്പാൻ ഉണർന്നിരുന്നു പ്രാർത്ഥിപ്പിൻ; ആത്മാവു ഒരുക്കമുള്ളതു, ജഡമോ ബലഹീനമത്രേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു
do watch and do pray that not you may enter into temptation. The indeed spirit [is] willing however the flesh weak.
42 രണ്ടാമതും പോയി: പിതാവേ, ഞാൻ കുടിക്കാതെ അതു നീങ്ങിക്കൂടാ എങ്കിൽ, നിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ആകട്ടെ എന്നു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു.
Again for a second time having gone away He prayed saying; Father of Mine, if not is possible this (cup *K*) to pass (from Me *k*) only unless it I shall drink, [then] should be [done] the will of You.
43 അനന്തരം അവൻ വന്നു, അവർ കണ്ണിന്നു ഭാരം ഏറുകയാൽ പിന്നെയും ഉറങ്ങുന്നതുകണ്ടു.
And having come again (He found *N(k)O*) them sleeping; were for of them the eyes wearied.
44 അവരെ വിട്ടു മൂന്നാമതും പോയി ആ വചനം തന്നേ ചൊല്ലി പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു.
And having left them again having gone away He prayed for [the] third time the same thing having said (again. *no*)
45 പിന്നെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: ഇനി ഉറങ്ങി ആശ്വസിച്ചു കൊൾവിൻ; നാഴിക അടുത്തു; മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ പാപികളുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു;
Then He comes to the disciples (of him *k*) and says to them; Sleep later on and take your rest; Behold has drawn near the hour, and the Son of Man is betrayed into [the] hands of sinners.
46 എഴുന്നേല്പിൻ, നാം പോക; ഇതാ, എന്നെ കാണിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നവൻ അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
do rise up let us go; Behold he has drawn near who is betraying Me!
47 അവൻ സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ പന്തിരുവരിൽ ഒരുത്തനായ യൂദയും അവനോടു കൂടെ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ജനത്തിന്റെ മൂപ്പന്മാരും അയച്ച വലിയോരു പുരുഷാരവും വാളും വടികളുമായി വന്നു.
And yet when he is speaking behold Judas one of the Twelve came, and with him a crowd great with swords and clubs from the chief priests and elders of the people.
48 അവനെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നവൻ; ഞാൻ ഏവനെ ചുംബിക്കുമോ അവൻ തന്നേ ആകുന്നു; അവനെ പിടിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ എന്നു അവർക്കു ഒരു അടയാളം കൊടുത്തിരുന്നു.
The [one] then betraying Him gave to them a sign saying; Whomever maybe I may kiss, He himself it is; do seize Him.
49 ഉടനെ അവൻ യേശുവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: റബ്ബീ, വന്ദനം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ ചുംബിച്ചു.
And immediately having come up to Jesus he said; Greetings Rabbi, and kissed Him.
50 യേശു അവനോടു: സ്നേഹിതാ, നീ വന്ന കാര്യം എന്തു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ അവർ അടുത്തു യേശുവിന്മേൽ കൈ വെച്ചു അവനെ പിടിച്ചു.
And Jesus said to him; Friend, [do] for (what *N(k)O*) you are come. Then having come to [him] they laid hands on Jesus and seized Him.
51 അപ്പോൾ യേശുവിനോടു കൂടെയുള്ളവരിൽ ഒരുവൻ കൈനീട്ടി വാൾ ഊരി, മഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ ദാസനെ വെട്ടി അവന്റെ കാതു അറുത്തു.
And behold one of those with Jesus having stretched out the hand drew the sword of him, and having struck the servant of the high priest cut off of him the ear.
52 യേശു അവനോടു: വാൾ ഉറയിൽ ഇടുക; വാൾ എടുക്കുന്നവർ ഒക്കെയും വാളാൽ നശിച്ചുപോകും.
Then says to him Jesus; do return the sword of you into the place of it; all for those having taken [the] sword by [the] sword (will perish. *NK(o)*)
53 എന്റെ പിതാവിനോടു ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നേ പന്ത്രണ്ടു ലെഗ്യോനിലും അധികം ദൂതന്മാരെ എന്റെ അരികെ നിറുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു എനിക്കു അപേക്ഷിച്ചുകൂടാ എന്നു തോന്നുന്നുവോ?
Or think you that not I am able to call upon the Father of Mine, and He will furnish to Me presently (more *N(k)O*) (than *k*) twelve (legions *N(k)O*) of angels?
54 എന്നാൽ ഇങ്ങനെ സംഭവിക്കേണം എന്നുള്ള തിരുവെഴുത്തുകൾക്കു എങ്ങനെ നിവൃത്തിവരും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
How then may be fulfilled the Scriptures that so it must be being?
55 ആ നാഴികയിൽ യേശു പുരുഷാരത്തോടു: ഒരു കള്ളന്റെ നേരെ എന്നപോലെ നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ പിടിപ്പാൻ വാളും വടിയുമായി വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ ദിവസേന ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ഇരുന്നിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ പിടിച്ചില്ല.
In that [very] hour said Jesus to the crowds; As against a robber did you come out with swords and clubs to capture Me? Every day (to you *KO*) in the temple I was sitting teaching and not you did seize Me.
56 എന്നാൽ ഇതു ഒക്കെയും പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ എഴുത്തുകൾ നിവൃത്തിയാകേണ്ടതിന്നു സംഭവിച്ചു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോൾ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ എല്ലാവരും അവനെ വിട്ടു ഓടിപ്പോയി.
This then all has come to pass that may be fulfilled the Scriptures of the prophets. Then the disciples all having forsaken Him fled.
57 യേശുവിനെ പിടിച്ചവരോ മഹാപുരോഹിതനായ കയ്യഫായുടെ അടുക്കൽ ശാസ്ത്രിമാരും മൂപ്പന്മാരും ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടിയിരുന്നേടത്തു അവനെ കൊണ്ടുപോയി.
Those then having seized Jesus led [Him] away to Caiaphas the high priest where the scribes and the elders were assembled.
58 എന്നാൽ പത്രൊസ് ദൂരവെ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ അരമനയോളം പിൻചെന്നു, അകത്തു കടന്നു അവസാനം കാണ്മാൻ സേവകന്മാരോടുകൂടി ഇരുന്നു
And Peter was following Him from afar until the court of the high priest, And having entered within he was sitting with the guards to see the outcome.
59 മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ന്യായാധിപസംഘം ഒക്കെയും യേശുവിനെ കൊല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ നേരെ കള്ളസ്സാക്ഷ്യം അന്വേഷിച്ചു;
And the chief priests and (elders and *K*) the Council whole were seeking false testimony against Jesus so that him (they may put to death *NK(o)*)
60 കള്ളസ്സാക്ഷികൾ പലരും വന്നിട്ടും പറ്റിയില്ല.
but not any they found (and *k*) of many having come forward as false witnesses (not they found. *k*) Finally then having come forward two (false witnesses *k*)
61 ഒടുവിൽ രണ്ടുപേർ വന്നു: ദൈവമന്ദിരം പൊളിച്ചു മൂന്നു ദിവസംകൊണ്ടു വീണ്ടും പണിവാൻ എനിക്കു കഴിയും എന്നു ഇവൻ പറഞ്ഞു എന്നു ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു.
they said; This [man] was saying: I am able to destroy the temple of God and in three days to rebuild it (him. *k*)
62 മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവനോടു: നീ ഒരു ഉത്തരവും പറയുന്നില്ലയോ? ഇവർ നിന്റെ നേരെ സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
And having stood up the high priest said to Him; No [thing] answer you? What these you do witness against?
63 യേശുവോ മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നു. മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ പിന്നെയും അവനോടു: നീ ദൈവപുത്രനായ ക്രിസ്തുതന്നേയോ? പറക എന്നു ഞാൻ ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തെക്കൊണ്ടു നിന്നോടു ആണയിട്ടു ചോദിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
And Jesus was silent. And (answering *k*) the high priest said to Him; I adjure you by God the living that us may you tell if You yourself are the Christ the Son of God.
64 യേശു അവനോടു: ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു; ഇനി മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ സർവ്വശക്തന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു ഇരിക്കുന്നതും ആകാശമേഘങ്ങളെ വാഹനമാക്കി വരുന്നതും നിങ്ങൾ കാണും എന്നു ഞാൻ പറയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
Says to him Jesus; You yourself have said. But I say to you; from now you will behold the Son of Man sitting at [the] right hand of Power and coming upon the clouds of heaven.
65 ഉടനെ മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ വസ്ത്രം കീറി: ഇവൻ ദൈവദൂഷണം പറഞ്ഞു; ഇനി സാക്ഷികളെക്കൊണ്ടു നമുക്കു എന്തു ആവശ്യം? നിങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോൾ ദൈവദൂഷണം കേട്ടുവല്ലോ;
Then the high priest tears the garments of him saying (that: *k*) He has blasphemed; why any more need have we of witnesses? Behold now you have heard the blasphemy (of him. *k*)
66 നിങ്ങൾക്കു എന്തു തോന്നുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: അവൻ മരണയോഗ്യൻ എന്നു അവർ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
What you do think? And answering they said; Deserving of death He is.
67 അപ്പോൾ അവർ അവന്റെ മുഖത്തു തുപ്പി, അവനെ മുഷ്ടിചുരുട്ടി കുത്തി, ചിലർ അവനെ കന്നത്തടിച്ചു:
Then they spat in the face of Him and struck Him. Others then slapped [Him]
68 ഹേ, ക്രിസ്തുവേ, നിന്നെ തല്ലിയതു ആർ എന്നു ഞങ്ങളോടു പ്രവചിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
saying; do prophesy to us, Christ, who is the [one] having struck You?
69 എന്നാൽ പത്രൊസ് പുറത്തു നടുമുറ്റത്തു ഇരുന്നു. അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഒരു വേലക്കാരത്തി വന്നു: നീയും ഗലീലക്കാരനായ യേശുവിനോടുകൂടെ ആയിരുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
And Peter was sitting outside in the court. and came to him one servant girl saying; Also You yourself were with Jesus the Galilean.
70 അതിന്നു അവൻ: നീ പറയുന്നതു എനിക്കു തിരിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു എല്ലാവരും കേൾക്കെ തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞു.
And he denied before (them *k*) all saying; Not I know what you say.
71 പിന്നെ അവൻ പടിപ്പുരയിലേക്കു പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ മറ്റൊരുത്തി അവനെ കണ്ടു അവിടെയുള്ളവരോടു: ഇവനും നസറായനായ യേശുവിനോടു കൂടെയായിരുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു
Having gone out then (him *k*) to the porch saw him another [servant girl] and she says (to those *NK(o)*) there; (and *ko*) This [man] was with Jesus of Nazareth.
72 ആ മനുഷ്യനെ ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു അവൻ രണ്ടാമതും ആണയോടെ തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞു.
And again he denied with an oath that Not I know the man.
73 അല്പനേരം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവിടെ നിന്നവർ അടുത്തുവന്നു പത്രൊസിനോടു: നീയും അവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ഉള്ളവൻ സത്യം; നിന്റെ ഉച്ചാരണവും നിന്നെ വെളിവാക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
After a little while also having come to [him] those having stood they said to Peter; Surely also you yourself of them are; even for the speech of you away you gives.
74 അപ്പോൾ അവൻ: ആ മനുഷ്യനെ ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു പ്രാകുവാനും ആണയിടുവാനും തുടങ്ങി; ഉടനെ കോഴി കൂകി.
Then he began to curse and to swear that Not I know the man! And immediately a rooster crowed.
75 എന്നാറെ: കോഴി കൂകും മുമ്പേ നീ മൂന്നു വട്ടം എന്നെ തള്ളിപ്പറയും എന്നു യേശു പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കു പത്രൊസ് ഓർത്തു പുറത്തു പോയി അതിദുഃഖത്തോടെ കരഞ്ഞു.
And remembered Peter the declaration (*k*) of Jesus having said (to him *k*) that Before [the] rooster crowing three times you will deny Me, And having gone out he wept bitterly.
