ഇയ്യോബ് 26
1 അതിന്നു ഇയ്യോബ് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
Then Job answered, and said:
2 നീ ശക്തിയില്ലാത്തവന്നു എന്തു സഹായം ചെയ്തു? ബലമില്ലാത്ത ഭുജത്തെ എങ്ങനെ താങ്ങി?
Whose helper art thou? is it of him that is weak? and dost thou hold up the arm of him that has no strength?
3 ജ്ഞാനമില്ലാത്തവന്നു എന്താലോചന പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുത്തു? ജ്ഞാനം എത്ര ധാരാളം ഉപദേശിച്ചു?
To whom hast thou given counsel? perhaps to him that hath no wisdom, and thou hast shewn thy very great prudence.
4 ആരെയാകുന്നു നീ വാക്യം കേൾപ്പിച്ചതു? ആരുടെ ശ്വാസം നിന്നിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു;
Whom hast thou desired to teach? was it not him that made life?
5 വെള്ളത്തിന്നും അതിലെ നിവാസികൾക്കും കീഴെ പ്രേതങ്ങൾ നൊന്തു നടുങ്ങുന്നു.
Behold the giants groan under the waters, and they that dwell with them.
Hell is naked before him, and there is no covering for destruction. (Sheol h7585)
7 ഉത്തരദിക്കിനെ അവൻ ശൂന്യത്തിന്മേൽ വിരിക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമിയെ നാസ്തിത്വത്തിന്മേൽ തൂക്കുന്നു.
He stretched out the north over the empty space, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
8 അവൻ വെള്ളത്തെ മേഘങ്ങളിൽ കെട്ടിവെക്കുന്നു; അതു വഹിച്ചിട്ടു കാർമുകിൽ കീറിപ്പോകുന്നതുമില്ല.
He bindeth up the waters in his clouds, so that they break not out and fall down together.
9 തന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ ദർശനം അവൻ മറെച്ചുവെക്കുന്നു; അതിന്മേൽ തന്റെ മേഘം വിരിക്കുന്നു.
He withholdeth the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud over it.
10 അവൻ വെളിച്ചത്തിന്റെയും ഇരുട്ടിന്റെയും അറ്റത്തോളം വെള്ളത്തിന്മേൽ ഒരു അതിർ വരെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
He hath set bounds about the waters, till light and darkness come to an end.
11 ആകാശത്തിന്റെ തൂണുകൾ കുലുങ്ങുന്നു; അവന്റെ തർജ്ജനത്താൽ അവ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകുന്നു.
The pillars of heaven tremble, and dread at his beck.
12 അവൻ തന്റെ ശക്തികൊണ്ടു സമുദ്രത്തെ ഇളക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ വിവേകംകൊണ്ടു രഹബിനെ തകർക്കുന്നു.
By his power the seas are suddenly gathered together, and his wisdom has struck the proud one.
13 അവന്റെ ശ്വാസത്താൽ ആകാശം ശോഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ കൈ വിദ്രുതസർപ്പത്തെ കുത്തിത്തുളെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
His spirit hath adorned the heavens, and his obstetric hand brought forth the winding serpent.
14 എന്നാൽ ഇവ അവന്റെ വഴികളുടെ അറ്റങ്ങളത്രേ; നാം അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു മന്ദസ്വരമേ കേട്ടിട്ടുള്ളു. അവന്റെ ബലത്തിന്റെ ഇടിമുഴക്കമോ ആർ ഗ്രഹിക്കും?
Lo, these things are said in part of his ways: and seeing we have heard scarce a little drop of his word, who shall be able to behold the thunder of his greatness?
