യെഹെസ്കേൽ 7

1 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:

2 മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു യിസ്രായേൽദേശത്തോടു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അവസാനം! ദേശത്തിന്റെ നാലുഭാഗത്തും അവസാനം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

“And as for you, son of man: Thus says the Lord God to the land of Israel: The end is coming, the end is coming, over the four regions of the earth.

3 ഇപ്പോൾ നിനക്കു അവസാനം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ എന്റെ കോപം നിന്റെമേൽ അയച്ചു നിന്റെ നടപ്പിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്നെ ന്യായംവിധിച്ചു നിന്റെ സകലമ്ലേച്ഛതകൾക്കും നിന്നോടു പകരം ചെയ്യും.

Now the end is over you, and I will send my fury upon you. And I will judge you according to your ways. And I will place all your abominations before you.

4 എന്റെ കണ്ണു നിന്നെ ആദരിക്കാതെയും ഞാൻ കരുണ കാണിക്കാതെയും നിന്റെ നടപ്പിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്നോടു പകരം ചെയ്യും; നിന്റെ മ്ലേച്ഛതകൾ നിന്റെ നടുവിൽ വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.

And my eye will not be lenient over you, and I will not take pity. Instead, I will set your ways upon you, and your abominations will be in your midst. And you shall know that I am the Lord.”

5 യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഒരു അനർത്ഥം ഒരു അനർത്ഥം ഇതാ, വരുന്നു!

Thus says the Lord God: “One affliction, behold, one affliction is approaching.

6 അവസാനം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു! അവസാനം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു! അതു നിന്റെ നേരെ ഉണർന്നുവരുന്നു! ഇതാ, അതു വരുന്നു.

The end is coming, the end is coming. It has been vigilant against you. Behold, it is approaching.

7 ദേശനിവാസിയേ, ആപത്തു നിനക്കു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; കാലമായി, നാൾ അടുത്തു; മലകളിൽ ആർപ്പുവിളി; സന്തോഷത്തിന്റെ ആർപ്പുവിളിയല്ല.

Destruction is coming over you, who live upon the earth. The time is approaching, the day of slaughter is near, and it is not of the glory of the mountains.

8 ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ വേഗത്തിൽ എന്റെ ക്രോധം നിന്റെമേൽ പകർന്നു, എന്റെ കോപം നിന്നിൽ നിവർത്തിക്കും; ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നടപ്പിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്നെ ന്യായം വിധിച്ചു നിന്റെ സകലമ്ലേച്ഛതകൾക്കും നിന്നോടു പകരം ചെയ്യും.

Now, very soon, I will pour out my wrath upon you, and I will fulfill my fury in you. And I will judge you according to your ways, and I will set upon you all your crimes.

9 എന്റെ കണ്ണു ആദരിക്കാതെയും ഞാൻ കരുണ കാണിക്കാതെയും നിന്റെ നടപ്പിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു പകരം ചെയ്യും; നിന്റെ മ്ലേച്ഛതകൾ നിന്റെ നടുവിൽ വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരും; യഹോവയായ ഞാനാകുന്നു ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.

And my eye will not be lenient, nor will I take pity. Instead, I will place your ways upon you, and your abominations will be in your midst. And you shall know that I am the Lord, who is striking.

10 ഇതാ, നാൾ; ഇതാ, അതു വരുന്നു; നിന്റെ ആപത്തു പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; വടി പൂത്തു അഹങ്കാരം തളിർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

Behold, the day! Behold, it approaches! Destruction has gone forth, the rod has blossomed, arrogance has germinated.

11 സാഹസം ദുഷ്ടതയുടെ വടിയായിട്ടു വളർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരിലോ അവരുടെ കോലാഹലത്തിലോ അവരുടെ സമ്പത്തിലോ ഒന്നും ശേഷിക്കയില്ല; അവരെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലാപം ഉണ്ടാകയുമില്ല.

Iniquity has risen up into a rod of impiety. There shall be nothing left of them, and of their people, and of the sound of them. And there shall be no rest for them.

12 കാലം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നാൾ അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ സകല കോലാഹലത്തിന്മേലും ക്രോധം വന്നിരിക്കയാൽ വാങ്ങുന്നവൻ സന്തോഷിക്കയും വില്ക്കുന്നവൻ ദുഃഖിക്കയും വേണ്ടാ.

The time is approaching; the day is very near. Whoever buys should not rejoice. And whoever sells should not mourn. For wrath is over all of their people.

13 അവർ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നാലും വില്ക്കുന്നവന്നു വിറ്റതു മടക്കിക്കിട്ടുകയില്ല; ദർശനം അതിന്റെ സകലകോലാഹലത്തെയും കുറിച്ചുള്ളതാകുന്നു; ആരും മടങ്ങിവരികയില്ല; അകൃത്യത്തിൽ ജീവിതം കഴിക്കുന്ന ഒരുത്തനും ശക്തി പ്രാപിക്കയില്ല.

For whoever sells will not return to what he has sold, but as yet their life will be among the living. For the vision concerning their entire multitude will not turn back. And man will not be strengthened in the iniquity of his life.

14 അവർ കാഹളം ഊതി സകലവും ഒരുക്കുന്നു; എന്നാൽ എന്റെ ക്രോധം അതിന്റെ സകല കോലാഹലത്തിന്മേലും വന്നിരിക്കയാൽ ആരും യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പോകുന്നില്ല,

Sound the trumpet! Let everyone be prepared! And yet there is no one who may go to battle. For my wrath is over all their people.

15 പുറത്തു വാൾ, അകത്തു മഹാമാരിയും ക്ഷാമവും; വയലിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവൻ വാൾകൊണ്ടു മരിക്കും; പട്ടണത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവൻ ക്ഷാമത്തിന്നും മഹാമാരിക്കും ഇരയായിത്തീരും.

The sword is outside, and the pestilence and the famine are inside. Whoever is in the field will die by the sword. And whoever is in the city will be devoured by the pestilence and the famine.

16 എന്നാൽ അവരിൽവെച്ചു ചാടിപ്പോകുന്നവർ ചാടിപ്പോകയും ഓരോരുത്തനും താന്താന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു താഴ്‌വരകളിലെ പ്രാവുകളെപ്പോലെ മലകളിൽ ഇരുന്നു കുറുകുകയും ചെയ്യും.

And those who flee from among them will be saved. And they will be among the mountains, like doves in steep valleys, with every one of them trembling, each one because of his iniquity.

17 എല്ലാകൈകളും തളരും; എല്ലാമുഴങ്കാലുകളും വെള്ളംപോലെ ഒഴുകും.

All hands will be weakened, and all knees will flow with water.

18 അവർ രട്ടുടുക്കും; ഭീതി അവരെ മൂടും; സകലമുഖങ്ങളിലും ലജ്ജയും എല്ലാതലകളിലും കഷണ്ടിയും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും.

And they will wrap themselves with haircloth, and dread will cover them. And shame will be upon every face, and baldness will be upon all of their heads.

19 അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ വെള്ളി വീഥികളിൽ എറിഞ്ഞുകളയും; പൊന്നു അവർക്കു മലമായി തോന്നും; അവരുടെ വെള്ളിക്കും പൊന്നിന്നും യഹോവയുടെ കോപദിവസത്തിൽ അവരെ വിടുവിപ്പാൻ കഴികയില്ല; അതിനാൽ അവരുടെ വിശപ്പടങ്ങുകയില്ല, അവരുടെ വയറു നിറകയും ഇല്ല; അതു അവർക്കു അകൃത്യഹേതു ആയിരുന്നുവല്ലോ.

Their silver will be thrown away, and their gold will be like a dunghill. Their silver and their gold will have no power to free them in the day of the fury of the Lord. They will not satisfy their soul, and their bellies will not be filled, because of the scandal of their iniquity.

20 അതുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ആഭരണങ്ങളുടെ ഭംഗി അവർ ഡംഭത്തിന്നായി പ്രയോഗിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ തങ്ങൾക്കു മ്ലേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെയും മലിനബിംബങ്ങളെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി; ആകയാൽ ഞാൻ അതു അവർക്കു മലമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

And they have set arrogance as the ornament of their necklaces, and they have made images of their abominations and graven idols. Because of this, I have let it be an uncleanness for them.

21 ഞാൻ അതു അന്യന്മാരുടെ കയ്യിൽ കവർച്ചയായും ഭൂമിയിലെ ദുഷ്ടന്മാർക്കു കൊള്ളയായും കൊടുക്കും; അവർ അതു അശുദ്ധമാക്കും.

And I will give it into the hands of foreigners as a spoil, and to the impious of the earth as a prey, and they will defile it.

22 ഞാൻ എന്റെ മുഖം അവരിൽനിന്നു തിരിക്കും. അവർ എന്റെ നിധിയെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കും; കവർച്ചക്കാർ അതിന്നകത്തു കടന്നു അതിനെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കും.

And I will avert my face from them, and they will violate my place of mystery. And untamed persons will enter into it, and they will defile it.

23 ദേശം രക്തപാതകംകൊണ്ടും നഗരം സാഹസംകൊണ്ടും നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കയാൽ നീ ഒരു ചങ്ങല ഉണ്ടാക്കുക.

Cause it to be closed. For the land has been filled with the judgment of blood, and the city is full of iniquity.

24 ഞാൻ ജാതികളിൽ അതിദുഷ്ടന്മാരായവരെ വരുത്തും; അവർ അവരുടെ വീടുകളെ കൈവശമാക്കും; ഞാൻ ബലവാന്മാരുടെ പ്രതാപം ഇല്ലാതെയാക്കും; അവരുടെ വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലങ്ങൾ അശുദ്ധമായിത്തീരും.

And I will lead in the most sinful among the Gentiles, and they will possess their houses. And I will cause the arrogance of the powerful to be quieted. And they will possess their sanctuaries.

25 നാശം വരുന്നു! അവർ സമാധാനം അന്വേഷിക്കും; എന്നാൽ അതു ഇല്ലാതെ ഇരിക്കും.

When anguish overwhelms them, they will seek peace, and there will be none.

26 അപകടത്തിന്മേൽ അപകടവും ശ്രുതിമേൽ ശ്രുതിയും വന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും; അവർ പ്രവാചകനോടു ദർശനം അന്വേഷിക്കും; എന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതന്റെ പക്കൽനിന്നു ഉപദേശവും മൂപ്പന്മാരുടെ പക്കൽനിന്നു ആലോചനയും പൊയ്പോകും.

Disturbance will follow after disturbance, and rumor after rumor. And they will seek the vision of the prophet, and the law will perish from the priest, and counsel will perish from the elders.

27 രാജാവു ദുഃഖിക്കും; പ്രഭു സ്തംഭനം ധരിക്കും; ദേശത്തെ ജനത്തിന്റെ കൈകൾ വിറെക്കും; ഞാൻ അവരുടെ നടപ്പിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം അവരോടു പകരം ചെയ്യും; അവർക്കു ന്യായമായതുപോലെ അവരെ വിധിക്കും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു അവർ അറിയും.

The king will mourn, and the prince will be clothed with grief, and the hands of the people of the earth will be greatly disturbed. I will act toward them in accord with their own way, and I will judge them in accord with their own judgments. And they shall know that I am the Lord.”
