യെഹെസ്കേൽ 6
1 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
2 മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ യിസ്രായേൽപർവ്വതങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ മുഖം തിരിച്ചു അവർക്കു വിരോധമായി പ്രവചിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു:
“Son of man, set your face toward mountains of Israel, and prophesy concerning them:
3 യിസ്രായേൽപർവ്വതങ്ങളേ, യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ വചനം കേൾപ്പിൻ! മലകളോടും കുന്നുകളോടും നീരൊഴുക്കുകളോടും താഴ്‌വരയോടും യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെനേരെ വാൾ വരുത്തും: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പൂജാഗിരികളെ നശിപ്പിക്കും.
And you have said, Mountains of Israel, Hear a word of Lord YHWH! Thus said Lord YHWH, To the mountains, and to the hills, To the streams, and to the valleys: Behold, I am bringing in a sword against you, And I have destroyed your high places.
4 നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾ ശൂന്യമാകും; നിങ്ങളുടെ സൂര്യസ്തംഭങ്ങൾ തകർന്നുപോകും; നിങ്ങളുടെ നിഹതന്മാരെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വീഴിക്കും.
And your altars have been desolated, And your images have been broken, And I have caused your wounded to fall before your idols,
5 ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ശവങ്ങളെ അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ഇടും; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ അസ്ഥികളെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾക്കു ചുറ്റും ചിതറിക്കും.
And I have put the carcasses of the sons of Israel before their idols, And I have scattered your bones around your altars.
6 നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾ ഇടിഞ്ഞു ശൂന്യമാകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ തകർന്നു മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ സൂര്യസ്തംഭങ്ങളെ വെട്ടിക്കളയുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ പണികൾ നശിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്‌വാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങൾ പാർക്കുന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും പട്ടണങ്ങൾ പാഴായും പൂജാഗിരികൾ ശൂന്യമായും തീരും.
In all your dwellings the cities are laid waste, And the high places are desolate, So that your altars are dry and desolate, Your idols have broken and ceased, And your images have been cut down, And your works have been blotted out.
7 നിഹതന്മാർ നിങ്ങളുടെ നടുവിൽ വീഴും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.
And the wounded has fallen in your midst, And you have known that I [am] YHWH.
8 എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങൾ ദേശങ്ങളിൽ ചിതറിപ്പോകുമ്പോൾ വാളിന്നു തെറ്റിപ്പോയവർ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ഒരു ശേഷിപ്പിനെ വെച്ചേക്കും.
And I have caused [some] to remain, In their being for you the escaped of the sword among nations, In your being scattered through lands.
9 എന്നെ വിട്ടകന്നു പരസംഗം ചെയ്യുന്ന അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെയും വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടു ചേർന്നു പരസംഗം ചെയ്യുന്ന അവരുടെ കണ്ണുകളെയും ഞാൻ തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞശേഷം, നിങ്ങളിൽ ചാടിപ്പോയവർ, അവരെ പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽവെച്ചു എന്നെ ഓർക്കും; അവരുടെ സകലമ്ലേച്ഛതകളാലും ചെയ്ത ദോഷങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തം അവർക്കു തങ്ങളോടു തന്നേ വെറുപ്പുതോന്നും.
And your escaped have remembered Me among nations, To where they have been taken captive, Because I have been broken with their heart that is going whoring, That has turned aside from off Me, And with their eyes they are going whoring after their idols, And they have been loathsome in their own faces, For the evils that they have done—all their abominations.
10 ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു അവർ അറിയും; ഈ അനർത്ഥം അവർക്കു വരുത്തുമെന്നു വെറുതെയല്ല ഞാൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു.
And they have known that I [am] YHWH, I have not spoken to do this evil to them for nothing.
11 യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ ദോഷകരമായ സകലമ്ലേച്ഛതകളുംനിമിത്തം നീ കൈകൊണ്ടടിച്ചു, കാൽകൊണ്ടു ചവിട്ടി, അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! എന്നു പറക; അവർ വാൾകൊണ്ടും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടും വീഴും;
Thus said Lord YHWH: Strike with your palm, and stamp with your foot, And say: Aah! For all the evil abominations of the house of Israel, Which falls by sword, by famine, and by pestilence.
12 ദൂരത്തുള്ളവൻ മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടു മരിക്കും; സമീപത്തുള്ളവൻ വാൾകൊണ്ടു വീഴും; ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവനും രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടവനും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടു മരിക്കും; ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ക്രോധം അവരിൽ നിവർത്തിക്കും.
The far-off dies by pestilence, And the near falls by sword, And the left and the besieged dies by famine, And I have completed My fury on them.
13 അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ സകലവിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കും സൗരഭ്യവാസന അർപ്പിച്ച സ്ഥലമായി ഉയരമുള്ള എല്ലാ കുന്നിന്മേലും സകലപർവ്വതശിഖരങ്ങളിലും എല്ലാപച്ചമരത്തിൻകീഴിലും തഴെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാ കരുവേലകത്തിൻകീഴിലും അവരുടെ നിഹതന്മാർ അവരുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങളുടെ ചുറ്റും അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ വീണു കിടക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.
And you have known that I [am] YHWH, In their wounded being in the midst of their idols, Around their altars, On every high hill, on all tops of mountains, And under every green tree, and under every thick oak, The place where they gave refreshing fragrance to all their idols.
14 ഞാൻ അവരുടെ നേരെ കൈ നീട്ടി, അവരുടെ സകലവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും ദേശത്തെ രിബ്ളാമരുഭൂമിയെക്കാൾ അധികം നിർജ്ജനവും ശൂന്യവുമാക്കും; അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവയെന്നു അവർ അറിയും.
And I have stretched out My hand against them, And have made the land a desolation, Even a desolation from the wilderness to Diblath, In all their dwellings, And they have known that I [am] YHWH!”
