യെഹെസ്കേൽ 28
1 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ സോർപ്രഭുവിനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം നിഗളിച്ചുപോയി; നീ ദൈവമല്ല മനുഷ്യൻ മാത്രമായിരിക്കെ: ഞാൻ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; ഞാൻ സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ ദൈവാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyre, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Whereas thy heart was lifted up, and thou saidst, A god am I, on the seat of the gods do I dwell, in the heart of the seas; yet thou art but a man, and not God, while thou esteemest thy mind equal to the mind of God;
3 നീ ദൈവഭാവം നടിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു - നീ ദാനീയേലിലും ജ്ഞാനിയല്ലോ; നീ അറിയാതവണ്ണം മറെച്ചുവെക്കാകുന്ന ഒരു രഹസ്യവുമില്ല;
Behold, thou wast wiser than Daniel; no secret was obscure to thee;
4 നിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനംകൊണ്ടും വിവേകംകൊണ്ടും നീ ധനം സമ്പാദിച്ചു പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും നിന്റെ ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിൽ സംഗ്രഹിച്ചു വെച്ചു;
With thy wisdom and with thy understanding hadst thou gotten thee riches, and hadst gotten gold and silver into thy treasuries;
5 നീ മഹാജ്ഞാനംകൊണ്ടു കച്ചവടത്താൽ ധനം വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു; നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ധനംനിമിത്തം ഗർവ്വിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു -
By the abundance of thy wisdom in thy traffic hadst thou increased thy riches; and thy heart was lifted up because of thy riches:
6 അതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു:
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because thou hast esteemed thy mind equal to the mind of God,
7 നീ ദൈവഭാവം നടിക്കയാൽ ഞാൻ ജാതികളിൽ ഉഗ്രന്മാരായ അന്യജാതിക്കാരെ നിന്റെ നേരെ വരുത്തും; അവർ നിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനശോഭയുടെ നേരെ വാളൂരി നിന്റെ പ്രഭയെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കും.
Therefore, behold, will I bring over thee strangers, the fiercest • of nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall profane thy elegance.
8 അവർ നിന്നെ കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങുമാറാക്കും; നീ സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ നിഹതന്മാരെപ്പോലെ മരിക്കും.
Down to the grave will they cast thee, and thou shalt die the deaths of the slain in the heart of the seas.
9 നിന്നെ കുത്തിക്കൊല്ലുന്നവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ നീ ദൈവമല്ല, മനുഷ്യൻ മാത്രം ആയിരിക്കെ, നിന്നെ കൊല്ലുന്നവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ: ഞാൻ ദൈവം എന്നു നീ പറയുമോ?
Wilt thou then say, I am God, before him that slayeth thee? when thou art but a man, and no God, in the hand of him that fatally wounded thee.
10 അന്യജാതിക്കാരുടെ കയ്യാൽ നീ അഗ്രചർമ്മികളെപ്പോലെ മരിക്കും; ഞാൻ അതു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
The deaths of the uncircumcised shalt thou die by the hand of strangers; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Eternal.
11 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
12 മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ സോർരാജാവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു വിലാപം തുടങ്ങി അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു! നീ മാതൃകാ മുദ്രയാകുന്നു; നീ ജ്ഞാനസമ്പൂർണ്ണനും സൗന്ദര്യസമ്പൂർണ്ണനും തന്നേ.
Son of man, take up a lamentation concerning the king of Tyre, and say unto him, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Thou wast complete in outline, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13 നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ തോട്ടമായ ഏദെനിൽ ആയിരുന്നു; താമ്രമണി, പീതരത്നം, വജ്രം, പുഷ്പരാഗം, ഗോമേദകം, സൂര്യകാന്തം, നീലക്കല്ലു, മാണിക്യം, മരതകം മുതലായ സകലരത്നങ്ങളും നിന്നെ മൂടിയിരുന്നു; നിന്നെ തീർത്തനാളിൽ നിന്നിൽ ഉള്ള തടങ്ങളുടെയും കൂടുകളുടെയും പണി പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ളതായിരുന്നു.
In 'Eden the garden of God didst thou abide; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, the topaz, and the diamond, the chrysolite, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold; thy tabrets and thy flutes of artificial workmanship were prepared in thee on the day thou wast created.
14 നീ ചിറകു വിടർത്തു മറെക്കുന്ന കെരൂബ് ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വിശുദ്ധദേവപർവ്വതത്തിൽ ഇരുത്തിയിരുന്നു; നീ അഗ്നിമയരഥങ്ങളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ സഞ്ചരിച്ചുപോന്നു.
Thou wast a cherub with outspread covering [wings]; and I had set thee upon the holy mountain of God [as] thou wast; in the midst of the stones of fire didst thou wander.
15 നിന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച നാൾമുതൽ നിങ്കൽ നീതികേടു കണ്ടതുവരെ നീ നടപ്പിൽ നഷ്കളങ്കനായിരുന്നു.
Perfect wast thou in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till wickedness was found in thee.
16 നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരത്തിന്റെ പെരുപ്പംനിമിത്തം നിന്റെ അന്തർഭാഗം സാഹസംകൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞു നീ പാപം ചെയ്തു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അശുദ്ധൻ എന്നു എണ്ണി ദേവപർവ്വതത്തിൽ നിന്നു തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു; മറെക്കുന്ന കെരൂബേ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അഗ്നിമയരഥങ്ങളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേനിന്നു മുടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
By the abundance of thy commerce thou wast filled to thy centre with violence, and thou didst sin: therefore I degraded thee out of the mountain of God; and I destroyed thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17 നിന്റെ സൗന്ദര്യംനിമിത്തം നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഗർവ്വിച്ചു, നിന്റെ പ്രഭനിമിത്തം നീ നിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനത്തെ വഷളാക്കി; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു, രാജാക്കന്മാർ നിന്നെ കണ്ടു രസിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്നെ അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ഇട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.
Thy heart was lifted up through thy beauty, thou didst corrupt thy wisdom by reason of thy elegance: [therefore] I cast thee down to the ground, before kings did I set thee that they might gaze on thee.
18 നിന്റെ അകൃത്യബാഹുല്യംകൊണ്ടും നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരത്തിന്റെ നീതികേടുകൊണ്ടും നീ നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരങ്ങളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു ഒരു തീ പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കും; അതു നിന്നെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും; നിന്നെ കാണുന്ന ഏവരുടെയും മുമ്പിൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നിലത്തു ഭസ്മമാക്കിക്കളയും.
Through the abundance of thy iniquities, through the wickedness of thy commerce didst thou profane thy sanctuaries: therefore brought I forth fire from the midst of thee, this devoured thee, and I changed thee to ashes upon the earth before the eyes of all those that saw thee.
19 ജാതികളിൽ നിന്നെ അറിയുന്നവരെല്ലാവരും നിന്നെ കണ്ടു സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോകും; നിനക്കു ശിഘ്രനാശം ഭവിച്ചിട്ടു നീ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും ഇല്ലാതെയാകും.
All that know thee among the people are astonished concerning thee: thou art as though thou hadst not been, and thou shalt not be any more for ever.
20 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
21 മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ സീദോന്നു നേരെ മുഖംതിരിച്ചു അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവചിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു:
Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,
22 യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: സീദോനേ, ഞാൻ നിനക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നടുവിൽ എന്നെത്തന്നേ മഹത്വീകരിക്കും; ഞാൻ അതിൽ ന്യായവിധികളെ നടത്തി എന്നെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു അവർ അറിയും.
And thou shalt say, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon, and I will be honored in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I execute judgments on her, and will be sanctified on her.
23 ഞാൻ അതിൽ മഹാമാരിയും അതിന്റെ വീഥികളിൽ രക്തവും അയക്കും; ചുറ്റിലും നിന്നു അതിന്റെ നേരെ വരുന്ന വാൾകൊണ്ടു നിഹതന്മാരായവർ അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽ വീഴും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു അവർ അറിയും.
And I will send out against her pestilence, and blood-[shedding] into her streets; and the deadly wounded shall be felled in the midst of her by the sword [that is] against her from every side: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
24 യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തെ നിന്ദിച്ചവരായി അവരുടെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള എല്ലാവരിലുംനിന്നു കുത്തുന്ന പറക്കാരയും നോവിക്കുന്ന മുള്ളും ഇനി അവർക്കുണ്ടാകയില്ല; ഞാൻ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു എന്നു അവർ അറിയും.
And there shall be no more unto the house of Israel a pricking brier, nor painful thorn from all that are round about them, that despoil them: and they shall know that I am the Lord Eternal.
25 യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തെ അവർ ചിതറിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു ശേഖരിച്ചു. ജാതികൾ കാൺകെ എന്നെത്തന്നേ അവരിൽ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ഞാൻ എന്റെ ദാസനായ യാക്കോബിന്നു കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്തു അവർ പാർക്കും.
Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, When I gather the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified on them before the eyes of the nations: then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.
26 അവർ അതിൽ നിർഭയമായി വസിക്കും; അതെ, അവർ വീടുകളെ പണിതു മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടങ്ങളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കും; അവരുടെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ളവരായി അവരെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്ന ഏവരിലും ഞാൻ ന്യായവിധികളെ നടത്തുമ്പോൾ അവർ നിർഭയമായി വസിക്കും; ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നു അവർ അറിയും.
And they shall dwell thereupon in safety, and they shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell in safety; when I execute judgments on all those that despoiled them from round about them: and they shall know that I am the Lord their God.
