യെഹെസ്കേൽ 27

1 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

2 മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ സോരിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു വിലാപം തുടങ്ങി സോരിനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു:

“Now you, son of man, take up a lament for Tyre.

3 തുറമുഖങ്ങളിൽ പാർക്കുന്നവളും ഏറിയ ദ്വീപുകളിലെ ജാതികളുടെ വ്യാപാരിയും ആയുള്ളോവേ, യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: സോരേ, ഞാൻ പൂർണ്ണസുന്ദരിയാകുന്നു എന്നു നീ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

Tell Tyre, who dwells at the gateway to the sea, merchant of the peoples on many coasts, that this is what the Lord GOD says: You have said, O Tyre, ‘I am perfect in beauty.’

4 നിന്റെ രാജ്യം സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നെ പണിതവർ നിന്റെ സൗന്ദര്യത്തെ പരിപൂർണ്ണമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Your borders are in the heart of the seas; your builders perfected your beauty.

5 സെനീരിലെ സരളമരംകൊണ്ടു അവർ നിന്റെ പാർശ്വം ഒക്കെയും പണിതു; നിനക്കു പാമരം ഉണ്ടാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർ ലെബാനോനിൽനിന്നു ദേവദാരുക്കളെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

They constructed all your planking with cypress from Senir. They took a cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you.

6 ബാശാനിലെ കരുവേലംകൊണ്ടു അവർ നിന്റെ തണ്ടുകളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി; കിത്തീംദ്വീപുകളിൽനിന്നുള്ള പുന്നമരത്തിൽ ആനക്കൊമ്പു പതിച്ചു നിനക്കു തട്ടുണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Of oaks from Bashan they made your oars; of wood from the coasts of Cyprus they made your deck, inlaid with ivory.

7 നിനക്കു കൊടിയായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ കപ്പൽപായ് മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നുള്ള വിചിത്രശണപടംകൊണ്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതായിരുന്നു; എലീശാദ്വീപുകളിൽനിന്നുള്ള ധൂമ്രപടവും രക്താംബരവും നിന്റെ വിതാനമായിരുന്നു.

Of embroidered fine linen from Egypt they made your sail, which served as your banner. Of blue and purple from the coasts of Elishah they made your awning.

8 സീദോനിലെയും സർവ്വാദിലെയും നിവാസികൾ നിന്റെ തണ്ടേലന്മാരായിരുന്നു; സോരേ, നിന്നിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ജ്ഞാനികൾ നിന്റെ മാലുമികൾ ആയിരുന്നു.

The men of Sidon and Arvad were your oarsmen. Your men of skill, O Tyre, were there as your captains.

9 ഗെബലിലെ മൂപ്പന്മാരും അതിലെ ജ്ഞാനികളും നിന്റെ ഓരായപ്പണിക്കാരായിരുന്നു; സമുദ്രത്തിലെ എല്ലാകപ്പലുകളും അവയുടെ കപ്പല്ക്കാരും നിന്റെ കച്ചവടം നടത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്നിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

The elders of Gebal were aboard as shipwrights, repairing your leaks. All the ships of the sea and their sailors came alongside to barter for your merchandise.

10 പാർസികളും ലൂദ്യരും പൂത്യരും യോദ്ധാക്കളായി നിന്റെ സൈന്യത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവർ പരിചയും തലക്കോരികയും നിന്നിൽ തൂക്കി നിനക്കു ഭംഗിപിടിപ്പിച്ചു.

Men of Persia, Lydia, and Put served as warriors in your army. They hung their shields and helmets on your walls; they gave you splendor.

11 അർവ്വാദ്യർ നിന്റെ സൈന്യത്തോടുകൂടെ ചുറ്റും നിന്റെ മതിലുകളിന്മേലും ഗമ്മാദ്യർ നിന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളിലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവർ നിന്റെ മതിലുകളിന്മേൽ ചുറ്റും പരിച തൂക്കി നിന്റെ സൗന്ദര്യത്തെ പരിപൂർണ്ണമാക്കി.

Men of Arvad and Helech manned your walls all around, and the men of Gammad were in your towers. They hung their shields around your walls; they perfected your beauty.

12 തർശീശ് സകലവിധസമ്പത്തിന്റെയും പെരുപ്പംനിമിത്തം നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരിയായിരുന്നു; വെള്ളി, ഇരിമ്പു, വെള്ളീയം, കാരീയം എന്നിവ അവർ നിന്റെ ചരക്കിന്നു പകരം തന്നു.

Tarshish was your merchant because of your great wealth of goods; they exchanged silver, iron, tin, and lead for your wares.

13 യാവാൻ, തൂബാൽ, മേശക്ക് എന്നിവർ നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരികൾ ആയിരുന്നു; അവർ ആളുകളെയും താമ്രസാധനങ്ങളെയും നിന്റെ ചരക്കിന്നു പകരം തന്നു.

Javan, Tubal, and Meshech were your merchants. They exchanged slaves and bronze utensils for your merchandise.

14 തോഗർമ്മാഗൃഹക്കാർ നിന്റെ ചരക്കിന്നു പകരം കുതിരകളെയും പടക്കുതിരകളെയും കോവർകഴുതകളെയും തന്നു.

The men of Beth-togarmah exchanged horses, war horses, and mules for your wares.

15 ദെദാന്യർ നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരികളായിരുന്നു; അനേകം ദ്വീപുകൾ നിന്റെ അധീനത്തിലെ വ്യാപാരദേശങ്ങളായിരുന്നു; അവർ ആനക്കൊമ്പും കരിമരവും നിനക്കു കപ്പം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

The men of Dedan were your clients; many coastlands were your market; they paid you with ivory tusks and ebony.

16 നിന്റെ പണിത്തരങ്ങളുടെ പെരുപ്പംനിമിത്തം അരാം നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരി ആയിരുന്നു; അവർ മരതകവും ധൂമ്രവസ്ത്രവും വിചിത്രവസ്ത്രവും ശണപടവും പവിഴവും പത്മരാഗവും നിന്റെ ചരക്കിന്നു പകരം തന്നു.

Aram was your customer because of your many products; they exchanged turquoise, purple, embroidered work, fine linen, coral, and rubies for your wares.

17 യെഹൂദയും യിസ്രായേൽദേശവും നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരികളായിരുന്നു; അവർ മിന്നീത്തിലെ കോതമ്പും പലഹാരവും തേനും എണ്ണയും പരിമളതൈലവും നിന്റെ ചരക്കിന്നു പകരം തന്നു.

Judah and the land of Israel traded with you; they exchanged wheat from Minnith, cakes and honey, oil and balm for your merchandise.

18 ദമ്മേശേക്ക് നിന്റെ പണിത്തരങ്ങളുടെ പെരുപ്പംനിമിത്തവും സകലവിധസമ്പത്തിന്റെയും പെരുപ്പംനിമിത്തവും ഹെൽബോനിലെ വീഞ്ഞും വെളുത്ത ആട്ടുരോമവുംകൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരി ആയിരുന്നു.

Because of your many products and your great wealth of goods, Damascus traded with you wine from Helbon, wool from Zahar,

19 വെദാന്യരും ഊസാലിലെ യാവാന്യരും നിന്റെ ചരക്കുകൊണ്ടു വ്യാപാരം ചെയ്തു; മിനുസമുള്ള ഇരിമ്പും വഴനത്തോലും വയമ്പും നിന്റെ ചരക്കിന്റെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

and casks of wine from Izal for your wares. Wrought iron, cassia, and sweet cane were exchanged for your merchandise.

20 ദെദാൻ കുതിരപ്പുറത്തിടുന്ന വിശിഷ്ടപടംകൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരിയായിരുന്നു;

Dedan was your merchant in saddlecloths for riding.

21 അരബികളും കേദാർപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരൊക്കെയും നിനക്കധീനരായ വ്യാപാരികൾ ആയിരുന്നു; കുഞ്ഞാടുകൾ, ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്മാർ, കോലാടുകൾ എന്നിവകൊണ്ടു അവർ നിന്റെ കച്ചവടക്കാരായിരുന്നു.

Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your customers, trading in lambs, rams, and goats.

22 ശെബയിലെയും രമയിലെയും വ്യാപാരികൾ നിന്റെ കച്ചവടക്കാരായിരുന്നു; അവർ മേത്തരമായ സകലവിധപരിമളതൈലവും സകലവിധരത്നങ്ങളും പൊന്നും നിന്റെ ചരക്കിന്നു പകരം തന്നു.

The merchants of Sheba and Raamah traded with you; for your wares they exchanged gold, the finest of all spices, and precious stones.

23 ഹാരാനും കല്നെയും ഏദെനും ശെബാവ്യാപാരികളും അശ്ശൂരും കില്മദും നിന്റെ കച്ചവടക്കാരായിരുന്നു.

Haran, Canneh, and Eden traded with you, and so did the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad.

24 അവർ വിശിഷ്ടസാധനങ്ങളും ചിത്രത്തയ്യലുള്ള ധൂമ്രപ്പുതെപ്പുകളും പരവതാനികളും ബലത്തിൽ പിരിച്ച കയറുകളും നിന്റെ ചരക്കിന്നു പകരം തന്നു.

In your marketplace they traded with you fine garments of blue, embroidered work, and multicolored rugs with cords tightly twisted and knotted.

25 തർശീശ് കപ്പലുകൾ നിനക്കു ചരക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; നീ പരിപൂർണ്ണയും സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ അതിധനികയും ആയിത്തീർന്നു.

The ships of Tarshish carried your merchandise. And you were filled with heavy cargo in the heart of the sea.

26 നിന്റെ തണ്ടേലന്മാർ നിന്നെ പുറങ്കടലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി; കിഴക്കൻ കാറ്റു സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേവെച്ചു നിന്നെ ഉടെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

Your oarsmen have brought you onto the high seas, but the east wind will shatter you in the heart of the sea.

27 നിന്റെ സമ്പത്തും ചരക്കും കച്ചവടവും കപ്പല്ക്കാരും മാലുമികളും ഓരായപ്പണിക്കാരും കുറ്റിക്കാരും നിന്നിലുള്ള സകലയോദ്ധാക്കളും നിന്റെ അകത്തുള്ള സർവ്വജനസമൂഹത്തോടും കൂടെ നിന്റെ വീഴ്ചയുടെ നാളിൽ സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ വീഴും.

Your wealth, wares, and merchandise, your sailors, captains, and shipwrights, your merchants and all the warriors within you, with all the other people on board, will sink into the heart of the sea on the day of your downfall.

28 നിന്റെ മാലുമികളുടെ നിലവിളികൊണ്ടു കപ്പൽകൂട്ടങ്ങൾ നടുങ്ങിപ്പോകും.

The countryside will shake when your sailors cry out.

29 തണ്ടേലന്മാരൊക്കെയും കപ്പല്ക്കാരും കടലിലെ മാലുമികൾ എല്ലാവരും കപ്പലുകളിൽനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങി കരയിൽ നില്ക്കും.

All who handle the oars will abandon their ships. The sailors and all the captains of the sea will stand on the shore.

30 അവർ കൈപ്പോടെ ഉറക്കെ നിലവിളിച്ചു തലയൽ പൂഴി വാരിയിട്ടു ചാരത്തിൽ കിടന്നുരുളുകയും

They will raise their voices for you and cry out bitterly. They will throw dust on their heads and roll in ashes.

31 നിന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി മൊട്ടയടിച്ച രട്ടുടുക്കയും നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു മനോവ്യസനത്തോടും കൈപ്പുള്ള വിലാപത്തോടും കൂടെ കരകയും ചെയ്യും.

They will shave their heads for you and wrap themselves in sackcloth. They will weep over you with anguish of soul and bitter mourning.

32 തങ്ങളുടെ ദുഃഖത്തിൽ അവർ നിന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി ഒരു വിലാപം തുടങ്ങി നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിക്കുന്നതു: സമുദ്രമദ്ധ്യേ നശിച്ചുപോയ സോരിനെപ്പോലെ ഏതൊരു നഗരമുള്ളു?

As they wail and mourn over you, they will take up a lament for you: ‘Who was ever like Tyre, silenced in the middle of the sea?

33 നിന്റെ ചരക്കു സമുദ്രത്തിൽ നിന്നു കയറിവന്നപ്പോൾ, നീ ഏറിയ വംശങ്ങൾക്കു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തി നിന്റെ സമ്പത്തിന്റെയും വ്യാപാരത്തിന്റെയും പെരുപ്പംകൊണ്ടു ഭൂമിയിലെ രാജാക്കന്മാരെ സമ്പന്നന്മാരാക്കി.

When your wares went out to sea, you satisfied many nations. You enriched the kings of the earth with your abundant wealth and merchandise.

34 ഇപ്പോൾ നീ സമുദ്രത്തിൽനിന്നു തകർന്നു പൊയ്പോയി; നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരസമ്പത്തും നിന്റെ അകത്തുള്ള ജനസമൂഹമൊക്കെയും വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ ആഴത്തിൽ വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.

Now you are shattered by the seas in the depths of the waters; your merchandise and the people among you have gone down with you.

35 ദ്വീപുവാസികളൊക്കെയും നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; അവരുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാർ ഏറ്റവും ഭയപ്പെട്ടു മുഖം വാടി നില്ക്കുന്നു.

All the people of the coastlands are appalled over you. Their kings shudder with fear; their faces are contorted.

36 ജാതികളിലെ വ്യാപാരികൾ നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു ചൂളകുത്തുന്നു: നിനക്കു ശീഘ്രനാശം ഭവിച്ചു നീ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും ഇല്ലാതെയാകും.

Those who trade among the nations hiss at you; you have come to a horrible end and will be no more.’”
