അപ്പൊ. പ്രവൃത്തികൾ 1
1 തെയോഫിലൊസേ, ഞാൻ എഴുതിയ ഒന്നാമത്തെ ചരിത്രം യേശു തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാർക്കു പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനാൽ കല്പന കൊടുത്തിട്ടു ആരോഹണം ചെയ്ത നാൾവരെ അവൻ ചെയ്തും ഉപദേശിച്ചും തുടങ്ങിയ സകലത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു ആയിരുന്നുവല്ലോ.
The indeed first account I composed concerning all the things, O Theophilus, of which began Jesus to do both and to teach
2 അവൻ കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിച്ചശേഷം നാല്പതു നാളോളം അവർക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി ദൈവരാജ്യം സംബന്ധിച്ച കാര്യങ്ങൾ
until the day having given orders to the apostles through [the] Spirit Holy whom He had chosen He was taken up.
3 പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടു താൻ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അനേകം ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളാൽ അവർക്കു കാണിച്ചു കൊടുത്തു.
to those also He presented Himself alive after the suffering of Him with many proofs, during days forty appearing to them and speaking the [things] concerning the kingdom of God.
4 അങ്ങനെ അവൻ അവരുമായി കൂടിയിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവരോടു: നിങ്ങൾ യെരൂശലേമിൽനിന്നു വാങ്ങിപ്പോകാതെ എന്നോടു കേട്ട പിതാവിന്റെ വാഗ്ദത്തത്തിനായി കാത്തിരിക്കേണം;
And being assembled together He instructed to them from Jerusalem not to depart, but to await the promise of the Father That which you heard of Me;
5 യോഹന്നാൻ വെള്ളംകൊണ്ടു സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിച്ചു. നിങ്ങൾക്കോ ഇനി ഏറെനാൾ കഴിയുംമുമ്പെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവുകൊണ്ടു സ്നാനം ലഭിക്കും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.
for John indeed baptized with water, you yourselves however with [the] Spirit will be baptized Holy not after many these days.
6 ഒരുമിച്ചു കൂടിയിരുന്നപ്പോൾ അവർ അവനോടു: കർത്താവേ, നീ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു ഈ കാലത്തിലോ രാജ്യം യഥാസ്ഥാനത്താക്കിക്കൊടുക്കുന്നതു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
Those indeed therefore having come together (were asking *N(k)O*) Him saying; Lord, if at time this are you restoring the kingdom to Israel?
7 അവൻ അവരോടു: പിതാവു തന്റെ സ്വന്ത അധികാരത്തിൽ വെച്ചിട്ടുള്ള കാലങ്ങളെയോ സമയങ്ങളേയോ അറിയുന്നതു നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളതല്ല.
He said then to them; Not yours it is to know times or seasons which the Father put in place by His own authority,
8 എന്നാൽ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു നിങ്ങളുടെ മേൽ വരുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ ശക്തി ലഭിച്ചിട്ടു യെരൂശലേമിലും യെഹൂദ്യയിൽ എല്ലാടത്തും ശമര്യയിലും ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റത്തോളവും എന്റെ സാക്ഷികൾ ആകും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
But you will receive power when was coming the Holy Spirit upon you and you will be (My *N(K)O*) witnesses in both Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and until [the] uttermost part of the earth.
9 ഇതു പറഞ്ഞശേഷം അവർ കാൺകെ അവൻ ആരോഹണം ചെയ്തു; ഒരു മേഘം അവനെ മൂടീട്ടു അവൻ അവരുടെ കാഴ്ചെക്കു മറഞ്ഞു.
And these things having said when are looking they He was taken up and a cloud hid Him from the eyes of them.
10 അവൻ പോകുന്നേരം അവർ ആകാശത്തിലേക്കു ഉറ്റുനോക്കുമ്പോൾ വെള്ള വസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ച രണ്ടു പുരുഷന്മാർ അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽനിന്നു:
And as looking intently they were into the heaven as is going He, then behold men two had stood by them in (garments white, *N(k)O*)
11 ഗലീലാപുരുഷന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങൾ ആകാശത്തിലേക്കു നോക്കിനില്ക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? നിങ്ങളെ വിട്ടു സ്വർഗ്ഗാരോഹണം ചെയ്ത ഈ യേശുവിനെ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലേക്കു പോകുന്നവനായി നിങ്ങൾ കണ്ടതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവൻ വീണ്ടും വരും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
who also said; Men Galileans, why have you stood (looking *NK(o)*) into heaven? This Jesus who having been taken up from you into heaven thus will come in that manner you beheld Him going into heaven.
12 അവർ യെരൂശലേമിന്നു സമീപത്തു ഒരു ശബ്ബത്ത് ദിവസത്തെ വഴിദൂരമുള്ള ഒലീവ് മലവിട്ടു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോന്നു.
Then they returned to Jerusalem from [the] mount which is being called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem a Sabbath day’s holding journey.
13 അവിടെ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അവർ പാർത്ത മാളികമുറിയിൽ കയറിപ്പോയി, പത്രൊസ്, യോഹന്നാൻ, യാക്കോബ്, അന്ത്രെയാസ്, ഫിലിപ്പൊസ്, തോമസ്, ബർത്തൊലൊമായി, മത്തായി, അൽഫായുടെ മകനായ യക്കോബ്, എരിവുകാരനായ ശിമോൻ, യാക്കോബിന്റെ മകനായ യൂദാ ഇവർ എല്ലാവരും
And when they had entered into the upper room they went up where they were staying, both Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James [son] of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot and Judas [son] of James.
14 സ്ത്രീകളോടും യേശുവിന്റെ അമ്മയായ മറിയയോടും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടും കൂടെ ഒരുമനപ്പെട്ടു പ്രാർത്ഥന കഴിച്ചു പോന്നു.
These all were steadfastly continuing with one accord in prayer (and in supplication *K*) with the [the] women and Mary with the mother of Jesus and (with *ko*) the brothers of Him.
15 ആ കാലത്തു ഏകദേശം നൂറ്റിരുപതു പേരുള്ള ഒരു സംഘം കൂടിയിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ പത്രൊസ് സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ നടുവിൽ എഴുന്നേറ്റുനിന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു:
And in days these having stood up Peter in [the] midst of the (brothers *N(K)O*) he said — was then [the] number of names together the same (about *N(k)O*) a hundred twenty —
16 സഹോദരന്മാരായ പുരുഷന്മാരേ, യേശുവിനെ പിടിച്ചവർക്കു വഴികാട്ടിയായിത്തീർന്ന യൂദയെക്കുറിച്ചു പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു ദാവീദ് മുഖാന്തരം മുൻപറഞ്ഞ തിരുവെഴുത്തിന്നു നിവൃത്തിവരുവാൻ ആവശ്യമായിരുന്നു.
Men brothers, it was necessary for to have been fulfilled Scripture (this *k*) which (foretold *NK(o)*) the Spirit Holy through [the] mouth of David concerning Judas the [one] having become guide to those having arrested (*k*) Jesus;
17 അവൻ ഞങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടവനായി ഈ ശുശ്രൂഷയിൽ പങ്കു ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നുവല്ലോ.
for numbered he was (among *N(k)O*) us and was allotted the share of the ministry this.
18 ‒അവൻ അനീതിയുടെ കൂലികൊണ്ടു ഒരു നിലം മേടിച്ചു തലകീഴായി വീണു നടുവെ പിളർന്നു അവന്റെ കുടലെല്ലാം തുറിച്ചുപോയി.
This [man] indeed then acquired a field out of (the *k*) reward of unrighteousness, and headlong having fallen he burst open in [the] middle and gushed out all the intestines of him,
19 അതു യെരൂശലേമിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരും അറിഞ്ഞതാകകൊണ്ടു ആ നിലത്തിന്നു അവരുടെ ഭാഷയിൽ രക്തനിലം എന്നർത്ഥമുള്ള അക്കൽദാമാ എന്നു പേർ ആയി.
And known it became to all those dwelling in Jerusalem, so that to call the field that [one] in [their] own language of them Akeldama That is Field of Blood.
20 ‒സങ്കീർത്തനപുസ്തകത്തിൽ: “അവന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലം ശൂന്യമായിപ്പോകട്ടെ; അതിൽ ആരും പാർക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ” എന്നും “അവന്റെ അദ്ധ്യക്ഷസ്ഥാനം മാറ്റൊരുത്തന്നു ലഭിക്കട്ടെ” എന്നും എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
It has been written for in [the] book of Psalms: should become the homestead of him desolate and not should there be [one] who is dwelling in it,’ and The position of him (take *N(k)O*) another.’
21 ആകയാൽ കർത്താവായ യേശു യോഹന്നാന്റെ സ്നാനം മുതൽ നമ്മെ വിട്ടു ആരോഹണം ചെയ്ത നാൾ വരെ നമ്മുടെ ഇടയിൽ സഞ്ചരിച്ചുപോന്ന
It behooves therefore of those [who] were accompanying us men during all [the] time (in *k*) that he came in and he went out among us the Lord Jesus,
22 കാലത്തെല്ലൊം ഞങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ നടന്ന പുരുഷന്മാരിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ ഞങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ അവന്റെ പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തിനു സാക്ഷിയായിത്തീരേണം.
having begun from the baptism of John until the day in which He was taken up from us, a witness of the resurrection of Him with us to become one of these.
23 അങ്ങനെ അവർ യുസ്തൊസ് എന്നു മറുപേരുള്ള ബർശബാ എന്ന യോസേഫ്, മത്ഥിയാസ് എന്നീ രണ്ടുപേരെ നിറുത്തി:
And they put forward two, Joseph who is being called Barsabbas who was called Justus and Matthias.
24 സകല ഹൃദയങ്ങളെയും അറിയുന്ന കർത്താവേ, തന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു പോകേണ്ടതിന്നു യൂദാ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോയ ഈ ശുശ്രൂഷയുടെയും അപ്പൊസ്തലത്വത്തിന്റെയും സ്ഥാനം ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു
And having prayed they said; You yourself Lord knower of the hearts of all, do show whom You have chosen of these two one
25 ഈ ഇരുവരിൽ ഏവനെ നീ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു കാണിച്ചുതരേണമേ എന്നു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു അവരുടെ പേർക്കു ചീട്ടിട്ടു:
to take the (place *N(k)O*) of the ministry this and apostleship (from *N(k)O*) which turned aside Judas to go to the place [his] own.
26 ചീട്ടു മത്ഥിയാസിന്നു വീഴുകയും അവനെ പതിനൊന്നു അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ എണ്ണുകയും ചെയ്തു.
And they gave lots (to them *N(k)O*) and fell the lot on Matthias and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
