2 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 9

1 വിശുദ്ധന്മാർക്കു വേണ്ടി നടത്തുന്ന ദ്രവ്യശേഖരത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു നിങ്ങൾക്കു എഴുതുവാൻ ആവശ്യമില്ലല്ലോ.

For concerning the ministry that is done towards the saints, it is superfluous for me to write unto you.

2 അഖായ കിഴാണ്ടുമുതൽ ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു മക്കെദോന്യരോടു പ്രശംസിച്ചുവരുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സൊരുക്കം ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ എരിവു മിക്കപേർക്കും ഉത്സാഹകാരണമായിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

For I know your forward mind: for which I boast of you to the Macedonians. That Achaia also is ready from the year past, and your emulation hath provoked very many.

3 നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു ഞങ്ങൾ പറയുന്ന പ്രശംസ ഈ കാര്യത്തിൽ വ്യർത്ഥമാകാതെ ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ നിങ്ങൾ ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ ഞാൻ സഹോദരന്മാരെ അയച്ചതു.

Now I have sent the brethren, that the thing which we boast of concerning you, be not made void in this behalf, that (as I have said) you may be ready:

4 അല്ലെങ്കിൽ പക്ഷെ മക്കെദോന്യർ എന്നോടുകൂടെ വരികയും നിങ്ങളെ ഒരുങ്ങാത്തവരായി കാണുകയും ചെയ്താൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്നല്ല ഞങ്ങൾ തന്നേ ഈ അതിധൈര്യം നിമിത്തം ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകുമല്ലോ.

Lest, when the Macedonians shall come with me, and find you unprepared, we (not to say ye) should be ashamed in this matter.

5 ആകയാൽ സഹോദരന്മാർ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പായി അങ്ങോട്ടു വരികയും നിങ്ങൾ മുമ്പെ വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്ത അനുഗ്രഹം പിശുക്കായിട്ടല്ല അനുഗ്രഹമായിട്ടു ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം മുമ്പുകൂട്ടി ഒരുക്കിവെക്കയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരോടു അപേക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ആവശ്യം എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾക്കു തോന്നി.

Therefore I thought it necessary to desire the brethren that they would go to you before, and prepare this blessing before promised, to be ready, so as a blessing, not as covetousness.

6 എന്നാൽ ലോഭമായി വിതെക്കുന്നവൻ ലോഭമായി കൊയ്യും; ധാരാളമായി വിതെക്കുന്നവൻ ധാരളമായി കൊയ്യും എന്നു ഓർത്തുകൊൾവിൻ.

Now this I say: He who soweth sparingly, shall also reap sparingly: and he who soweth in blessings, shall also reap blessings.

7 അവനവൻ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ നിശ്ചയിച്ചതുപോലെ കൊടുക്കട്ടെ. സങ്കടത്തോടെ അരുതു; നിർബ്ബന്ധത്താലുമരുതു; സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കൊടുക്കുന്നവനെ ദൈവം സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

Every one as he hath determined in his heart, not with sadness, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

8 നിങ്ങൾ സകലത്തിലും എപ്പോഴും പൂർണ്ണതൃപ്തിയുള്ളവരായി സകല സൽപ്രവൃത്തിയിലും പെരുകി വരുമാറു നിങ്ങളിൽ സകലകൃപയും പെരുക്കുവാൻ ദൈവം ശക്തൻ ആകുന്നു.

And God is able to make all grace abound in you; that ye always, having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work,

9 “അവൻ വാരിവിതറി ദരിദ്രന്മാർക്കു കൊടുക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നീതി എന്നേക്കും നിലനില്ക്കുന്നു” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. (aiōn g165)

As it is written: He hath dispersed abroad, he hath given to the poor: his justice remaineth for ever. (aiōn g165)

10 എന്നാൽ വിതെക്കുന്നവന്നു വിത്തും ഭക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ആഹാരവും നല്കുന്നവൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ വിതയും നല്കി പൊലിപ്പിക്കയും നിങ്ങളുടെ നീതിയുടെ വിളവു വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

And he that ministereth seed to the sower, will both give you bread to eat, and will multiply your seed, and increase the growth of the fruits of your justice:

11 ഇങ്ങനെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു ഞങ്ങളാൽ സ്തോത്രം വരുവാൻ കാരണമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഔദാര്യം ഒക്കെയും കാണിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ സകലത്തിലും സമ്പന്നന്മാർ ആകും.

That being enriched in all things, you may abound unto all simplicity, which worketh through us thanksgiving to God.

12 ഈ നടത്തുന്ന ധർമ്മശേഖരം വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ബദ്ധിമുട്ടു തീർക്കുന്നതുമല്ലാതെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു അനവധി സ്തോത്രം വരുവാൻ കാരണവും ആകുന്നു.

Because the administration of this office doth not only supply the want of the saints, but aboundeth also by many thanksgivings in the Lord,

13 ഈ സഹായത്താൽ തെളിയുന്ന സിദ്ധത ഹേതുവായി ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സുവിശേഷം നിങ്ങൾ സ്വീകരിച്ച അനുസരണംനിമിത്തവും അവരോടും എല്ലാവരോടും നിങ്ങൾ കാണിക്കുന്ന കൂട്ടായ്മയുടെ ഔദാര്യം നിമിത്തവും അവർ ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

By the proof of this ministry, glorifying God for the obedience of your confession unto the gospel of Christ, and for the simplicity of your communicating unto them, and unto all.

14 നിങ്ങൾക്കു ലഭിച്ച അതിമഹത്തായ ദൈവകൃപനിമിത്തം അവർ നിങ്ങളെ കാണ്മാൻ വാഞ്ഛിച്ചു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കും.

And in their praying for you, being desirous of you, because of the excellent grace of God in you.

15 പറഞ്ഞുതീരാത്ത ദാനം നിമിത്തം ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം.
