< Zakaria 8 >
1 Inao ty nitsara’ Iehovà’ i Màroy:
Again the word of the LORD of Hosts came to me, saying:
2 Hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy: Farahieko ty Tsione, am-parahy miloroloro, vaho farahieko am-pifombo mandofiry.
This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “I am jealous for Zion with great zeal; I am jealous for her with great fervor.”
3 Hoe t’Iehovà: Himpoly mb’e Tsione mb’eo iraho vaho himoneñako ty añivo’ Ierosalaime ao; le hatao ty hoe rovan-katò t’Ierosalaime; naho Haboañe Miavake ty vohi’ Iehovà’ i Màroy.
This is what the LORD says: “I will return to Zion and dwell in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD of Hosts will be called the Holy Mountain.”
4 Hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy: Mbe ho tendreke te hiambesatse an-tamea’ Ierosalaime ao o androanavio naho o rakemba beio, songa mitoñoñe kobay am-pità’e ty amy ha’antera’ey.
This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Old men and old women will again sit along the streets of Jerusalem, each with a staff in hand because of great age.
5 Le ho lifotse ajalahy naho ampela o kiririsa’ i rovaio mihisa an-kiririsan-drova ao.
And the streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls playing there.”
6 Hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy: Aa kanao fanjàka am-pihaino’ o sehanga’ ondaty retoañeo izay amy àndroy, tsy ho fanjàka a’ masoko ao ka hao? hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy.
This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “If this is impossible in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be impossible in My eyes?” declares the LORD of Hosts.
7 Hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy: Oniño te ho rombaheko amy tane atiñanañe añey naho amy tane ahandrefañe añey ondatikoo;
This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “I will save My people from the land of the east and from the land of the west.
8 hampoliko mb’etoa, le himoneña’ iareo ty añivo’ Ierosalaime ao; h’ondatiko iereo vaho ho Andrianañahare’ iareo an-katò naho an-kavantañan-draho.
I will bring them back to dwell in Jerusalem, where they will be My people, and I will be their faithful and righteous God.”
9 Hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy: Haozaro o fità’ areoo, ry mahajanjiñe o tsaraem-palie’ o mpitoky tañ’ andro nampijadoñañe ty fahan’ anjomba’ Iehovà’ i Màroy amo andro rezaoo, soa te hamboareñe i kivohoy.
This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Let your hands be strong, you who now hear these words spoken by the prophets who were present when the foundations were laid to rebuild the temple, the house of the LORD of Hosts.
10 Ie taolo’ i andro rezay, tsy teo ty nañarama’ ondaty, tsy teo ty nampitoloñe hàre; vaho tsy nierañerañe ty niavotse ndra ty nimoake ty amy faloviloviañey; ie nampifandiereko an-drañe’e ondatio.
For before those days neither man nor beast received wages, nor was there safety from the enemy for anyone who came or went, for I had turned every man against his neighbor.
11 F’ie henane zao tsy hanahake tamo andro taoloo amo sehanga’ ondaty retoañe, hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy.
But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as I did in the past,” declares the LORD of Hosts.
12 Fa hanintsiñe o tabirio, hamokatse o vaheo, hakare’ i taney o nampitomboe’eo naho hatolo’ i likerañey o zono’eo; vaho hampandovàko ty sehanga’ ondatikoo i hene rezay.
“For the seed will be prosperous, the vine will yield its fruit, the ground will yield its produce, and the skies will give their dew. To the remnant of this people I will give all these things as an inheritance.
13 Ho tondrok’ amy zay te manahake ty naha-fokom-patse amo kilakila’ ondatio nahareo, ry anjomba’ Iehodà naho ry anjomba’ Israeleo, t’ie ho rombaheko, le ho fitahiañe; ko hembañe fa hafatraro o fità’oo.
As you have been a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you will be a blessing. Do not be afraid; let your hands be strong.”
14 Aa hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy: Hambañe amy nisafiriako hanao raty ama’ areoy, ie nanigìk’ ahy o rae’ areoo, hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy, vaho tsy niheveako,
For this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Just as I resolved to bring disaster upon you when your fathers provoked Me to anger, and I did not relent,” says the LORD of Hosts,
15 ty nisafirieko henane zao ty hanao soa am’ Ierosalaime naho amy akiba’ Iehoday: ko mangebahebake.
“so now I have resolved to do good again to Jerusalem and Judah. Do not be afraid.
16 Inao o hanoe’ areoo: songa mifanaontsia an-katò; mizakà an-kavantañañe naho am-pilongoañe an-dalambei’ areo eo;
These are the things you must do: Speak truth to one another, render true and sound judgments in your gates,
17 ko mifampikilily añ’arofo; ko inae’ areo ty fanta vilañe; fa hejeko iaby izay, hoe t’Iehovà.
do not plot evil in your hearts against your neighbor, and do not love to swear falsely, for I hate all these things,” declares the LORD.
18 Niheo amako ty tsara’ Iehovà’ i Màroy, nanao ty hoe:
Then the word of the LORD of Hosts came to me, saying,
19 Hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy: Ty lilitse amy volam-paha-efatsey, naho ty lilitse amy faha-limey, naho ty lilitse amy faha-fitoy, vaho ty lilitse amy faha-foloy, le ho firebehañe naho haravoañe vaho famantañan-kafaleañe añ’akiba’ Iehodà ao; aa le kokò ty hatò naho ty fifampilongoañe.
“This is what the LORD of Hosts says: The fasts of the fourth, the fifth, the seventh, and the tenth months will become times of joy and gladness, cheerful feasts for the house of Judah. Therefore you are to love both truth and peace.”
20 Hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy: Ho tondroke te hivotrake eo ondaty mitozantozañeo naho ty mpimoneñe boak’ an-drova maro;
This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Peoples will yet come—the residents of many cities—
21 le hitotsak’ ami’ty raike o mpimoneñe ami’ty ila’eo, hanao ty hoe: Antao hipay falalàñe am’ Iehovà naho hitsoeke Iehovà’ i Màroy; homb’eo ka iraho.
and the residents of one city will go to another, saying: ‘Let us go at once to plead before the LORD and to seek the LORD of Hosts. I myself am going.’
22 Toe maro t’indaty, naho fifeheañe maozatse ty homb’ atoy hipay Iehovà’ i Màroy e Ierosalaime ao, naho hihalaly fañisohañe am’ Iehovà.
And many peoples and strong nations will come to seek the LORD of Hosts in Jerusalem and to plead before the LORD.”
23 Hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy: ie amy andro zay, le ho rambese’ t’indaty folo boak’ amy ze hene’ fisaontsi’ o kilalila’ ondatio, eka ho fihine’ iereo ty saro’ ty nte-Iehodà, hanao ty hoe: Hindre ama’o zahay fa jinanji’ay te mitraok’ama’ areo t’i Andrianañahare.
This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “In those days ten men from the nations of every tongue will tightly grasp the robe of a Jew, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”
