< Zakaria 7 >

1 Aa ie tan-taom-paha-efa’ i Dariavese mpanjakay, le niheo amy Zekarià ty tsara’ Iehovà amy andro fahefa’ ty volam-pahasivey, toe Safary;
In the fourth year of King Darius, the LORD’s word came to Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, the month of Chislev.
2 Ie nampañitrifeñe añ’ anjomba’ Iehovà ao t’i Sarezere naho i Regemeleke rekets’ o mpiama’eo,
The people of Bethel sent Sharezer and Regem Melech and their men to entreat the LORD’s favour,
3 ninday saontsy amo mpisoroñe añ’ anjomba’ Iehovà’ i maroio, naho amo mpitokio, ami’ty hoe: Handala hao iraho amy volam-paha-limey, naho hilie-batañe manahake i nanoeko amy taoñe maro rezaiy?
and to speak to the priests of the house of the LORD of Armies and to the prophets, saying, “Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?”
4 Aa le niheo amako ty tsara’ Iehovà nanao ty hoe:
Then the word of the LORD of Armies came to me, saying,
5 Saontsio ze hene’ ondati’ i taney naho o mpisoroñeo, ty hoe: Ie nililitse naho nandala amy volam-paha-limey naho amy volam-paha-fitoy, i fitompolo taoñe rezay, Izaho hao ty nililira’ areo; Toe amako hao?
“Speak to all the people of the land and to the priests, saying, ‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and in the seventh month for these seventy years, did you at all fast to me, really to me?
6 Ie mikama, naho minoñe, tsy ho anahareo hao ty fikama’ areo naho ho anahareo ty finoma’ areo?
When you eat and when you drink, don’t you eat for yourselves and drink for yourselves?
7 Tsy izay hao o tsara tsinei’ Iehovà añamo mpitoky taoloo, ie nimoneñañe t’Ierosalaime naho niraorao, ie naho o rova’ nañohok’ azeo, vaho nitobohañe ka i Atimoy naho i Vavataney?
Aren’t these the words which the LORD proclaimed by the former prophets when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and its cities around her, and the South and the lowland were inhabited?’”
8 Niheo amy Zekarià ty tsara’ Iehovà, nanao ty hoe:
The LORD’s word came to Zechariah, saying,
9 Hoe ty nitsarà’ Iehovà’ i Màroy: Manoa zaka-to naho songa mifampitretreza naho mifanao miroahalahy;
“Thus has the LORD of Armies spoken, saying, ‘Execute true judgement, and show kindness and compassion every man to his brother.
10 ko mamorekeke vantotse, ndra bode-rae, ndra renetane, ndra o rarakeo: ko mifampikinia an-troke.
Don’t oppress the widow, the fatherless, the foreigner, nor the poor; and let none of you devise evil against his brother in your heart.’
11 F’ie nifoneñe tsy hañaoñe, naho nampitolike soroke mandietse, vaho nanjenjen-dravembia tsy hitsanoñe;
But they refused to listen, and turned their backs, and stopped their ears, that they might not hear.
12 mbore, nanoe’ iereo vato mizitse ty tro’ iareo tsy mone hahajanjiñe i Hake, naho o tsara nampisangitrife’ Iehovà am-pità’ o mpitoky taoloo añamy Arofo’ey; aa le nifetsake eo ty haviñerañe jabajaba’ Iehovà’ i Màroy.
Yes, they made their hearts as hard as flint, lest they might hear the law and the words which the LORD of Armies had sent by his Spirit by the former prophets. Therefore great wrath came from the LORD of Armies.
13 Ie amy zao, kanao nikanjy re naho tsy nañaoñe iereo, le hikanjy ka iereo vaho tsy ho haoñeko, hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy;
It has come to pass that, as he called and they refused to listen, so they will call and I will not listen,” said the LORD of Armies;
14 le nampibaratsiahako an-tangololahy iereo mb’amo kilakila ondaty tsy apota’ iareoo. Le nihòake i taney nenga’ iereo, naho leo raike tsy nihelohelo ama’e; ie nampangoakoàhe’ iereo i tane fanjàkay.
“but I will scatter them with a whirlwind amongst all the nations which they have not known. Thus the land was desolate after them, so that no man passed through nor returned; for they made the pleasant land desolate.”
