< Zakaria 11 >
1 Sokafo o lalam-bei’oo ry Libanone hampibotseha’ ty afo o mendoraveñeo.
Open thy doors, O Lebanon, and the fire shall eat on thy cedars.
2 Mangololoiha, ry talý, fa nideboñe i mendoraveñey; fa nianto o nanam-bolonahetseo; Mangoihoìa, ry kile’ i Basane fa hinatsake i ala matahetsey.
Wail, fir-tree; for fallen is the cedar; those that were mighty are despoiled: wail, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the impervious forest is come down.
3 Inao! ty fitoreova’ o mpiarakeo, fa mianto ty enge’ iareo; Inao! ty fitroña’ o liona tora’eo, fa robake ty fisengea’ Iordane.
[There is] the noise of the wailing of the shepherds; for wasted is their glory: [there is] the noise of the roaring of young lions; for wasted is the pride of the Jordan.
4 Hoe t’Iehovà Andrianañahareko: Andrazo i lia-raike ho zamaneñey;
Thus hath said the Lord my God, Feed the flocks [that are destined for] the slaughter;
5 Vonoe’ o mpikaloo iareo fe tsy liloveñe, le manao ty hoe o mandetake iareoo: Andriañeñe t’Iehovà, amy te nahampañarivo ahy; vaho tsy tretreze’ o mpiara’eo.
Whom their buyers slay, and hold themselves guiltless; and whose sellers say, Blessed be the Lord, for I am rich: and none of whose shepherds have pity on them.
6 Aa le tsy ho ferenaiñako ka ty mpimone’ i taney, hoe t’Iehovà; Inao, songa haseseko am-pitàn-drañe’e t’indaty naho am-pitàm-panjaka’e; ho demohe’ iereo i taney, le izaho tsy hamotsotse am-pità’iareo.
For I will no more have pity on the inhabitants of the land, saith the Lord: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into the hand of his neighbor, and into the hand of his king: and they shall beat down the land, and I will not deliver out of their hand.
7 Aa le nifahanako i lia-raike ho lentañey, o vata’e rarake amy lia-raikeio. Le rinambeko ty kobaiñe roe; ty natao Isoke naho ty natao Vanditse; vaho nandrazeko i lia-raikey.
And I had fed the flocks [that were destined for] the slaughter, —indeed, the poorest of the flocks; and I had taken unto me two staves; the one I called Mildness [[No'am]], and the other I called Concord [[Choblim]]: and I fed the flocks.
8 Naitoeko añate’ ty vola’e raike ty mpiarake telo; Toe tsy nahaliñe iareo ty troko, vaho nalaiñe ahy ka ty tro’ iareo.
And I removed the three shepherds in one month; and my soul was tired of them, and also their soul abhorred me.
9 Aa le hoe iraho: Tsy handrazeko nahareo adono hivetrake ze hivetrake; apoho haito ze haito; vaho angao hifampihinañe ty nofo’e o sehanga’eo.
Then said I, I will not feed you: what is dying may die; and what is to be lost may be lost; and those that are left may eat every one the flesh of the other.
10 Rinambeko i kobaiko atao Isokey, le tsineratserako, hifoterako amy fañina nanoeko am’ondaty iabio.
And I took my staff, namely, Mildness, and cut it to pieces, to annul my covenant which I had made with all the tribes.
11 Toe pinozako amy andro zay; vaho nifohi’ ze mañaoñe ahy amo misotry amy lia-raikeio t’ie nitsarae’ Iehovà.
And when it was annulled on that day, then knew they well, truly the poorest of the flocks that waited for me, that it was the word of the Lord.
12 Aa le hoe ty asako tam’ iereo: Naho atao’ areo te mañeva le atoloro ahy ty tambeko; fa naho tsie le apoho; vaho linanja’ iareo ty volafoty telo-polo ho tambeko.
And I said unto them, If it be good in your eyes, give me my reward; and if not, forbear. So they weighed out as my reward thirty pieces of silver.
13 Le hoe t’Iehovà tamako: Afetsaho mb’amy mpanao valàñe taney mb’eo i vili’e sarotse nikaloa’ iareo ahikoy. Nendeseko amy zao i volafoty telopoloy vaho nahifiko amy mpanao valàñe taney añ’anjomba’ Iehovà ao.
And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the treasurer, the precious price which I am prized at by them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them in the house of the Lord unto the treasurer.
14 Tsineratserako ka i kobaiko faharoe atao Vanditsey, soa t’ie hibalake ty fifampilongoa’ Iehodà naho Israele.
Then I cut in pieces my second staff, namely, Concord, to annul the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15 Le hoe t’Iehovà tamako: Rambeso indraike o haraom-piarake gegegegeo.
And the Lord said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
16 Ingo, hampitroareko mpiarake tsy hañaoñe o naitoañ’ amy taneio naho tsy hitsoeke o tora’eo, naho tsy ho melañe’e o folakeo, vaho tsy ho fahana’e o mbe mijohañeo, fa ho kamae’e ty hena’ o vondrakeo, naho ho pozapozahe’e o hotro’eo.
For, lo, I raise up a shepherd in the land, who will not think of those that are lost, nor seek for that which is gone astray, nor heal that which hath [a limb] broken; who will not care for that which hath stood still; but who will eat the flesh of the fat, and devour all even to their claws.
17 Hankàñe amy mpiarake tsy jefa’e mahafari’ i lia-raikeiy! ho an-tsira’e ty fibara naho am-pihaino’e havana; hiforejeje i sira’ey ho maieñe i fihaino’e havanay.
Woe to the worthless shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall utterly wither, and his right eye shall be completely blinded.
