Romana 8
1 Ie henane zao tsy amam-patse o am’ Iesoà Norizañeo, o tsy mañavelo amy nofotsey, fa amy arofoio,
There is therefore no condemnation, to them who, in Jesus Messiah, walk not after the flesh.
2 ie hinaha’ i Han’ arofo minday haveloñe am’ Iesoà Norizañeiy amy han-tahiñe naho havilasiy.
For the law of the spirit of life, which is in Jesus Messiah, hath emancipated thee from the law of sin and death.
3 Toe tsy nahalefe i Hake, ie nampaifoifoe’ i nofotsey, aa le nihenefan’ Añahare amy nañiraha’e i Ana’ey ho hambam-bintañe amo sandriñe maleo-tahiñeo ho engan-kakeo, hamatse o tahiñe an-tsandriñeo,
Inasmuch as the law was impotent, by means of the weakness of the flesh, God sent his Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin; that He might, in his flesh, condemn sin;
4 soa te ho heneke aman-tika tsy mpañavelo amy haondaty hambo’ey fa amy Arofoy ty havantaña’ i Hake.
so that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us; since it is not in the flesh that we walk, but in the Spirit.
5 Mifahatse amo raha’ i hambo’eio ty fitsakorea’ o mipiteke amy hambo’eio, fe amo rahan’arofoo o mpiato amy Arofoio.
For they who are in the flesh, do mind the things of the flesh: and they who are of the Spirit, do mind the things of the Spirit.
6 Toe fihomahañe ty vetsevetse mirekets’ amy hambo’ey, fe haveloñe naho fañanintsañe ty ereñeren-tro’ i mitambozòtse amy Arofoy;
For minding the things of the flesh, is death; but minding the things of the Spirit, is life and peace.
7 fa mandrafe aman’ Añahare ty fitsakoreañe mipitek’ amy hambo’ey, amy te tsy iambanea’e t’i Han’ Añahare, toe tsy lefe’e;
Because minding the things of the flesh, is enmity towards God: for it doth not subject itself to the law of God, because it is not possible.
8 vaho tsy mete mahafale an’Andrianañahare o miato amy sandriñe hambo’ey.
And they who are in the flesh cannot Please God.
9 F’ie tsy amy hambo’ey, fa amy Arofoy, naho toe mimoneñe an-tro’ areo ao i Arofon’ Añaharey; aa naho tsy ama’e i Arofo’ i Norizañeiy le tsy aze.
Ye, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit; if the Spirit of God truly dwelleth in you. And if in any one there is not the Spirit of Messiah he is none of his.
10 Ie ama’ areo i Norizañey, ndra te nihomake an-kakeoo i sandriñey, le veloñ’ an-kavantañañe ty arofo.
But if Messiah is in you, the body is dead, in regard to sin; and the Spirit is alive in regard to righteousness.
11 Aa ie mañialo ama’ areo ao ty Arofo’ i nampitroatse Iesoà amy havilaisiy, le i nañakatse i Norizañey amy fihomahañeiy ro hameloñe o sandri’ areo mora momokeo amy Arofo’e mañialo ama’areoy.
And if the Spirit of him, who raised our Lord Jesus Messiah from the dead, dwelleth in you; he who raised our Lord Jesus Messiah from the dead, will also vivify your dead bodies, because of his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Ie amy zao, ry longo, mpisongo tika: tsy amy hambo’ey t’ie ho veloñe amy modoy,
Now we are debtors, my Brethren, not to the flesh, that we should walk according to the flesh:
13 f’ie veloñe amy hambo’ey, le tsy mete tsy hihomake; fa naho i Arofoy ro añitoa’ areo erike o sata’ rati’ i hambo’eio, le ho veloñe.
- (For if ye live according to the flesh, ye are to die. But if, by the Spirit, ye mortify the practices of the body, ye will live.
14 Fa hene anan’ Añahare ze tarihe’ i Arofon’ Añaharey.
For they who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God: )
15 Toe tsy nandrambe i fañahim-pandrohizañey nahareo hirevendreveñe, f’ie nandrambe ty Arofom-pamelomañ’ anake mahakanjy ty hoe: Àba, Rae.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage, again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, by which we cry, Father, our Father.
16 I Arofoy ty mitaroñe aman-tron-tikañe te anan’ Añahare;
And this Spirit testifieth to our spirit, that we are the sons of God.
17 aa kanao anake tika le mpandova, toe mpandova aman’ Añahare, naho mitrao-pandova amy Norizañey, ie iharoan-tika haloviloviañe, le itraofan’ engeñe ka.
And if sons, then heirs; heirs of God, and participators of the inheritance of Jesus Messiah: so that, if we suffer with him, we shall also be glorified with him.
18 Apotako te tsy mañeva hoharañe amy engeñe ho bentabentareñe aman-tikañey ty haloviloviañe henanekeo.
For I reckon, that the sufferings of the present time, are not comparable with the glory which is to be developed in us.
19 Fa mihalantavañe, mandiñe ty fiboaha’ o anan’ Añahareo ty voatse toy;
For the whole creation is hoping and waiting for the development of the sons of God.
20 amy te nondevozeñe ami’ty tsy fanjofahañe o namboareñeo, tsy nisatrie’e, fe ami’ty fisafiri’ i nampiambane irezay ho am-pitamañe
For the creation was subjected to vanity, not by its own choice, but because of him who subjected it,
21 t’ie ho hahàñe am-pandevoza’ i fimomohañey ka ty voatse toy ho an-kavolonahem-pidadà’ o anan’ Añahareo.
in the hope, that also the creation itself would be emancipated from the bondage of corruption, into the liberty of the glory of the sons of God.
22 Fohintika t’ie mibabababa naho mitrao-pitoreo am-pitsongoañe pake henaneo ze kila namboareñe.
For we know, that all the creatures are groaning and travailing in pain unto this day.
23 Tsy ie avao, fa itika aman-dengom-boa’ i Arofoy, eka! itika ro mitreontreoñe an-troke ao, misalala ty fameloman’ anake, ty fijebañañe o sandrin-tikañeo.
And not only they, but we also in whom are the first fruits of the Spirit, we groan within ourselves, and look anxiously for the adoption of sons, the redemption of our bodies.
24 I fitamàñey ty nandrombahañe an-tika, le tsy atao fitamàñe o fitamàñe isakeo, fa ia ty mitamà ty raha trea’e?
Because we live in hope. But hope that is seen, is not hope: for if we saw it, how should we hope for it?
25 Aa ie tamaen-tika i tsy ìsakey le mihavàtse mandiñe aze.
But if we hope for that which is not seen, we are in patient waiting.
26 Manahake izay, mañolotse o haifoifoan-tikañeo ka i Arofoy; itika tsy mahay mihalaly ami’ty do’e, fa i Arofoy ro mañalañalañe ho antikañe ami’ty fitreontreoñe tsy lefe talilieñe.
So also the Spirit aideth our weakness. For we know not what to pray for, in a proper manner; but the Spirit prayeth for us, with groans not expressible:
27 Le i Mpibiribiry trokey ty maharofoanañe ty fitsakorea’ i Arofoy, amy t’ie ro mañalañalañe ho a o noro’eo ami’ty satrin’ Añahare.
and the explorer of hearts, he knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit; because he prayeth for the saints, agreeably to the good pleasure of God.
28 Fohin-tika te ampifanehafen’ Añahare ze he’e hañasoa o mikoko an’Andrianañahareo, o kinanjy amy fisafiria’ey;
And we know that he aideth him in all things, for good, who love God; them whom he predestined to be called.
29 amy te ze niarofoana’e taolo ro tinendre’e hihambam-bintañe amy Ana’ey, soa t’ie ty ho tañoloñoloñam-piroahalahy maro.
And he knew them, previously; and he sealed them with the likeness of the image of his Son; that He might be the first-born of many brothers.
30 Le nikanjie’e ka o tinendre’eo, naho nampivantañe’e o nikanjie’eo, vaho nirengè’e o nampivantañe’eo.
And those whom he previously sealed, them he called: and those whom he called, them he justified: and those whom he justified, them he glorified.
31 Akore arè ty hanoen-tika? Kanao mañimba antika t’i Andrianañahare, ia ty hiatreatre?
What then shall we say of these things? If God is for us; who is against us?
32 Aa ie tsy nañaro i Bako Toka’ey fa nengae’e ho antikañ’ iaby, sandrake t’ie mitraoke ama’e ro hanolora’e ze he’e?
And, if he spared not his Son, but gave him up for us all, how shall he not give us all things, with him?
33 Ia ty hanisý o jinobon’ Añahareo? I Andrianañahare ro mañavantañe,
Who will set himself against the chosen of God? It is God who justifieth.
34 Ia ty hamàtse? Iesoà Norizañey ty nivilasy, eka, toe nampivañonen-ko veloñe; ie am-pitàn-kavanan’ Añahare eo henaneo mihalaly ho antika.
Who is it that condemneth? Messiah died, and arose, and is on the right hand of God, and maketh intercession for us.
35 Ia ty hampipitsoke antika ami’ty fikokoa’ i Norizañey? haoreañe hao ke haloviloviañe he fampisoañañe ke hasalikoañe he fihaloañe ke hankàñe he fibara?
What will sever me from the love of Messiah? Will affliction? or distress? or persecution? or famine? or nakedness? or peril? or the sword?
36 Toe pinatetse ty hoe: Ihe ro anjamanañe anay lomoñandro; volilien-ko añondry ho lentañe zahay.
As it is written: For thy sake, we die daily: and, we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Fe amy iaby rezay, mpandrebake ra’elahy tika amy Nikoko antikañey.
But in all these things we are victorious, by means of him who loved us.
38 Le faharako te to, ke havilasy he haveloñe ke anjely he fifeheañe he ze eo henaneo ke ze mb’e añe,
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 he ty añ’ abo ey ke ty an-dalek’ ao he inoñ’ inoñe ami’ty voatse toy, tsy hahasintake antikañe amy fikokoan’ Añahare amy Talèntika Iesoà Norizañey.
nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, will be able to sever me from the love of God, which is in our Lord Jesus Messiah.
