< Romana 5 >

1 Aa kanao vinolily ho vantañe tika ty amy fatokisan-tikañey, le an-kanintsiñe tika aman’ Añahare añamy Talèn-tika Iesoà Norizañey,
Therefore having been made righteous from faith, we have peace toward God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 le fatokisañe ka ro ahazoan-tika lalañe mb’amy hasoa ijohañan-tikañey, ie mitreñe, misalala ty hahaoniñañe i engen’ Añaharey!
through whom also we have access by faith for this grace in which we stand, and we take pride in hope of the glory of God.
3 Tsy izay avao, fa rengen-tika o halovilovian-tikañeo, fohiñe te minday fahaliñisañe i haloviloviañey
And not only so, but we also take pride in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance,
4 naho figahiñañe i fahaliñisañey vaho fitamàñe i figahiñañey,
and perseverance, character, and character, hope.
5 ie tsy salare’ i fitamàñey, amy te nadoandoañe an-tron-tikañe ao ty fikokoan’ Añahare amy Arofo Masiñe natolots’ an-tikañey.
And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit that was given to us.
6 Ie mbe nalejolejo tika, le nivilasy ho a o lo-tserekeo ami’ty sa mete i Norizañey.
For while we were yet weak, in due time Christ died for the impious.
7 Tsy siake hamoeñ’ aiñe ty vañoñe, fe he eo ty mahavany hivetrake hisolo t’indaty soa.
For scarcely for a righteous man will some man die, indeed perhaps for the good man some man would even dare to die.
8 Fe niventen’ Añahare ty fikokoa’e antika, amy te mbe nanan-kakeo tika te nivilasy i Norizañey.
But God commends his love toward us, that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Aa kanao nivantañe’ i lio’ey tika, antsake te ho hahañ’ amy haviñerañey!
Much more then, now having been made righteous by his blood, we will be saved from the wrath through him.
10 Ie mbe nimpirafelahy tika ro nifampilongoeñe aman’ Añahare amy havilasi’ i Ana’eiy, sandrake, t’ie nifampilongoeñe ro ho rombaheñe amy havelo’ey!
For if, while being enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more having been reconciled we will be saved by his life.
11 Tsy izay avao, fa Iesoà Talè Norizañey henaneo ty andrengean-tika an’ Andrianañahare, i nanjoan-tika fijebañañey.
And not only so, but also taking pride in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
12 Aa le hambañe amy te indaty raike ty nizilihan-kakeo ami’ty voatse toy naho i havilasiy ty amy tahiñey, te kila hifetsahan-kavilasy, amy te fonga nandilatse;
Because of this, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, so also death passed to all men, in that all sinned.
13 Toe tami’ty voatse toy taolo’ i Hake o fandilarañeo, fe tsy mahaseseke ty tahiñe naho tsy eo ty Hake.
For until law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Ndra te izay, nameleke faha’ i Dame pak’ amy Mosè o havilasio, ndra amo tsy nandilatse am-panjehara’ i Dameo, ie fanalinjoa’ i hitotsakey.
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who did not sin in the likeness of Adam's transgression, who is a type of the coming man.
15 Fe tsy manahake i tahiñey ty hasoa, fa naho ty hakeo’ i raikey ty nahavilasy i màroy, antsake te nitobàke amy màroy ty fatarihan’ Añahare, naho ty hasoam-palalà’ i raikey, Iesoà Norizañey!
But in this way also, the gift is not as the transgression. For if by the trespass of the one man the many died, much more the grace of God, and the gift in grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abounded for the many.
16 Eka, tsy ampanahafeñe ami’ty toli’ i nandilatsey i falalàñey, amy te nikai-jaka naho ninday fatse i raikey; fe nandimbe hakeo maro i falalàñey vaho ninday havantañañe.
And the gift is not as through one man who sinned, for indeed the judgment from one man was for condemnation, but the gift from many offenses is for righteousness.
17 Aa naho ty tahi’ i raikey ty nifehean-kavilasy añamy raikey, sandrake te hifeleke an-kaveloñe ao o mandrambe i hasoa mitoabotsey naho i ravoravon-kavantañañeio añamy raike atao Iesoà Norizañey.
For if, by the offense of the one man, death reigned through the one man, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.
18 Aa le, hambañe amy te nafà’ ty hakeo raike ze kila ondaty, te nivantañen-ko veloñe ami’ty sata-vañoñe raike ka ze hene’ ondaty.
So then, as through an offense of one man was for condemnation for all men, so also through a righteousness of one man was for justification of life for all men.
19 Fa manahake ty nampanaña’ ty fanjehara’ indatiy tahiñe i màroy, ty nañavantaña’ i raikey i màroy amy fivohora’ey.
For as through the one man's disobedience the many were led sinful, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be led righteous.
20 Nivotrak’ eo ty Hake hampivangogo o tahiñeo, aa ndra te nirokoroko o tahiñeo, somandrake te niraorao ty fatarihañe,
And the law entered so that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace was more abundant,
21 aa le hambañe amy te hakeo ty nifeleke an-kavilasy, te fatarihañe ty hifehe an-kañavantañe mb’an-kaveloñe nainai’e añamy Talèntika Iesoà Norizañey. (aiōnios g166)
so that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign, through righteousness, for eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
