< Apokalypsy 13 >
1 Le nijagarodoñe amy faseñe añ’olon-driakey re. Treako amy zao ty biby nitroatse boak’an-driak’ ao, aman-tsifa folo naho loha fito, naho nisampe amy tsifa’e rey ty sabakan’enge folo, vaho ninday añaran-katerateràñe i loha’e rey.
Then I saw, ‘rising out of the sea, a wild Beast with ten horns’ and seven heads. On its horns were ten diadems, and on its heads were blasphemous names.
2 Nanahake ty farasy i biby nanteakoy, naho hoe aman-tombom-bera vaho hoe vavan-diona ty vava’e. Natolo’ i fañaneñey aze ty haozara’e naho ty fiambesam-pifehea’e vaho ty lily mitiotiotse,
The Beast that I saw was like a leopard; but its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth like the mouth of a lion. The Dragon gave it his power and his throne, and wide dominion.
3 le hoe pinaratsake ty loha’e raike ho naha-valaenkañe aze, fe nijangañe i fere ho nahafatey, vaho fonga nañorike i bibiy an-dàtsa ty voatse toy,
One of its heads seemed to me to have been mortally wounded, but its deadly wound had been healed. The whole earth followed the Beast, wondering;
4 nitalaho amy fañaneñe nañomey lily i bibiy, mbore niambane amy bibiy le nanao ty hoe: Ia ty mañirinkiriñe i bibiy? Ia ty hahafialy ama’e?
and men worshiped the Dragon, because he had given his dominion to the Beast; while, as they worshiped the Beast, they said — ‘Who can compare with the Beast? and who can fight with it?’
5 Nomeam-bava re hivolambolañe firengeañe naho titse, vaho nomean-dily hifehea’e volañe efa-polo-ro’amby;
The Beast was given ‘a mouth that spoke proudly’ and blasphemously, and it was empowered to work its will for forty-two months.
6 aa le sinoka’e ty montsili’e niteratera an’ Andrianañahare, nañìnje ty tahina’e naho i kivoho’ey vaho o mpimoneñe andindìñeo.
It opened its mouth only to blaspheme God, to blaspheme his Name and his Tabernacle — those who dwell in his Tabernacle in Heaven.
7 Natolots’aze ty hialy amo noro’eo naho handrebake, naho ty lily hifehea’e ze hene foko naho ondaty naho fameleke vaho fifelehañe.
It had been permitted to fight with Christ’s People and to conquer them, and it had received power over men of every tribe, and people, and language, and nation.
8 Hene hiambane amy bibiy ze mpimoneñe an-tane atoy, ze tsy misokitse amy boken-kavelo’ i Vik’ añondry vinono am-pifotora’ ty voatse toiy i tahina’ey.
All who are living on earth will worship it — all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, the Lamb that has been sacrificed from the foundation of the world.
9 Ze aman-dravembia, mijanjiña:
Let him who has ears hear.
10 Ze hasese an-drohy le mb’am-bahorañe añe ty haneseañe aze, ze ho vonoe’ ty fibara, le am-pibara ty hampivetrahañe aze. Inao ty fahaliñisañe naho ty fatokisa’ o noro’eo.
‘Whoever is destined for captivity goes into captivity.’ Whoever shall kill with the sword must inevitably be killed with the sword. (Here there is need for endurance and faith on the part of Christ’s People.)
11 Naheoko te indroke ty biby tovo’e nidagarìtse boak’ an-tane ao, aman-tsifa roe hoe añondry f’ie nivolañe hoe fañaneñe.
Then I saw, rising out of the earth, another wild Beast. It had two horns like those of a lamb, and its voice was like a dragon’s.
12 Toloñe’e iaby o lili’ i biby valoha’e añatrefa’eio; fonga ampitalahoe’e amy biby valoha’e nanam-père ho nahafate nimelañey ty tane toy naho o mpimoneñe ama’eo.
It exercises all the authority of the first Beast under its very eyes; and it makes the earth and all who are living on it worship that first Beast, whose mortal wound was healed.
13 Le anoa’e viloñe jabajaba, ie mampanjotso afo boak’ andindìñe ey pak’an-tane atoy añ’atrefa’ ondatio;
It performs great marvels, even causing fire to fall from the heavens to the earth, before men’s eyes;
14 le fitahe’e o mpimoneñe an-tane atoio amo viloñe natolots’ aze hanoe’e añatrefa’ i bibiy, hanjizy o mpimoneñe an-tane atoio handranjy ty sare’ i biby amam-perem-pibara nibodan-ko veloñey.
and in consequence of the marvels which it was allowed to perform under the eyes of the Beast, it is able to deceive all who are living on the earth. It bids those who live on the earth to make a statue in honour of the Beast, who, despite the wound from the sword, yet lived.
15 Le nitoloran-dily hampikofòke ty sare’ i bibiy, hampivolañe i sarem-bibiy vaho hañohofa’e loza amy ze fonga mifoneñe tsy hiambane amy sarem-bibiy.
It was permitted to breathe life into the image of the Beast, so that the image of the Beast might speak; and it was also permitted to cause all who refused to worship the image of the Beast to be put to death.
16 Le hene ampitombohe’e viloñe am-pitàn-kavana’e eo ndra an-dahara’e eo ty kede naho ty bey, o mpañalealeo naho o rarakeo, o fokonontsoao vaho ondevoo,
High and low, rich and poor, freemen and slaves — it causes a brand to be put on the right hand or on the forehead of every one of them,
17 tsy hahavily ndra hahaletake naho tsy ama’e i viloñey, ndra ty añara’ i bibiy, ndra ty ia’ i añara’ey.
so that no one is able to buy or sell, except those that bear this brand — either the name of the Beast or the number indicated by the letters of his name.
18 Inao ty hihitse. Soa re te hamolily ty ia’ i bibiy ty mahilala, amy t’ie ty ia’ ondaty, toe Enen-jato-tsi-enem-polo-eneñ’ amby i ia’ey.
(Here there is need for discernment.) Let him who has the ability compute the number of the Beast; for the number indicates a man’s name. Its number is six hundred and sixty-six.
