< Salamo 1 >

1 Haha t’indaty tsy mañavelo am-panoroa’ o lo-tserekeo, naho tsy mijohañe an-dala’ o beihakeoo, vaho tsy miambesatse am- pitoboha’ o mpañinjeo;
Happy are those who don't follow the advice of the wicked. They refuse to adopt the ways of sinful people, and they don't make fun of others.
2 Fa ty Hà’ Iehovà ro mampinembanembañ’ aze, ninihe’e handro an-kaleñe i Hà’ey
Instead they love to do what the law of the Lord says, and they think about it day and night.
3 Ie ho hambañe aman-katae namboleñe añ’olon-torahañe eo, mamoa an-tsa’e naho tsy miheatse o rave’eo, miraorao ze hene anoe’e.
They're like trees growing by flowing rivers, producing fruit every season. Their leaves never wither, and they are successful in all they do.
4 Tsy manahake Izay o lo-tserekeo, fa hambañe amo kafokafo aboelen-tiokeo.
But it's not like that for the wicked! They are like chaff, blown away by the wind.
5 Toly ndra tsy haha-fitroatse amy zakay o tsivokatseo, ndra ami’ty fivori’ o vañoñeo o mpanan-tahiñeo.
For this reason the wicked will not survive the judgment—sinners have no place among those who live right.
6 Arofoana’ Iehovà ty fañaveloa’ o vantañeo, fe ho modo ty fandenà’ o tsivoatsoloo.
For the Lord watches over those who follow the right way, but the way of the wicked leads to death.
