The Lord reigns; let the nations tremble! He sits on his throne above the cherubim; let the earth shake!

The Lord rules supreme in Zion, he is sovereign over all the nations.

Let them praise his greatness, and respect him for who he is—for he is holy,
4 Mpikoko hatò ty haozara’ i mpanjakay —fa najado’o ty zaka-mira; fa nihenefe’o ty zaka naho ty havantañañe amy Iakobe ao.
having kingly power. You love justice; you make impartial decisions. You have made sure everything is done in fairness and according to what's right.
5 Onjono t’Iehovà Andrianañaharentika; midrakadrakàfa am-pitongoàm- pandia’e eo; masin-dre.
Give respect to the Lord our God! Bow down at his feet, for he is holy!
6 Mpiamo mpisoro’eo t’i Mosè naho i Aharone, mpitraok’ amo mpikanjy i tahina’eio t’i Samoele, sindre nitoreo am’ Iehovà vaho nitoiña’e.
Moses and Aaron were among his priests; Samuel also prayed to him. They called out to the Lord for help, and he answered them.
7 Nitsara’e hirik’amy rahoñe nijoalay; norihe’ iereo o taro’eo naho i fañè natolo’e iareoy.
He spoke to the people from the pillar of cloud, and they kept the laws and decrees he gave them.
8 Ry Iehovà Andrianañahare’ay, natoi’o iareo, Andrianañahare nañaha ty hakeo’ iareo, fe nililove’e o nanoe’ iareoo.
Lord our God, you answered them. You were a forgiving God to them, but you punished them when they did wrong.
9 Onjono t’Iehovà Andrianañaharentika vaho mitalahoa amy vohi’e miavakey, amy te masiñe t’Iehovà Andrianañaharentika.
Honor the Lord our God, and worship at his holy mountain. For the Lord our God is holy!
